Im new in Murray and needed a facial after so long with the covid-19 closures. It was so relaxing and she was very thorough. My skin looks sooo much better. I was so pleased I also booked a hair appointment and was thrilled with the new cut. I will definitely be back.

I gave Mitch a quick overview of how I wanted my hair cut (a big change since Id not cut it in several months because I simply can no longer do it myself). I knew EXACTLY what I wanted and needed. SO nice to meet a hairdresser who can speak hairdersser with me and know what Im saying, LOL!I. Love. My. Hair.

I went in for a massage. I was very tensed up from overuse and stress. I was pleasantly met with a peaceful environment. Aroma infused air, quiet peaceful music, and a great massage therapist. When I walked out I felt great. Let me say that the room was very clean and Covid precautions were in place. Good Job Essential Day Spa.

My massage with Heather was perfect. There is one service missing from The Essential Day Spa. I would love to have a relaxing scalp massage then shampoo no more unless requested. A professional atmosphere such as Essential Day Spa would be perfect.RespectfullyRebecca

They were friendly the reason why I would give them a 3 but I got a wax done and it took longer than it was suppose to, the girl that does the waxing which her name may be Alex hasn’t yet got a quick method when doing waxing. If it was my first wax experience than I probably would’ve never wanted a wax again, but I’ve had waxing done before so I know how quick it can be done. It is now ingrown hair coming in and she didn’t get everything.

I got my nails done by Alex. She was great! She did a great job on my nails and was wonderful to talk to! Everyone made me feel welcomed. I dont take much time for myself so this was a wonderful break.

I love the Essential Day Spa! My daughter recently got married and we enjoyed a day of bliss! Check out their bridal package! It was such fun! The staff is amazing and caters to your every need. How wonderful to be pampered and make some memories before her big day!

I walked in and only had a small wait. The massage was great. It was wonderful to have all of the stress knots massaged out of my back and neck and to get a relaxing massage. I would recommend the Essential Day Spa to anyone.

I got the nourishing spa pedicure and it was amazing. There are a lot of colors to choose from. It is relaxing and skin is moisturized/soft

Products are of excellent quality. Their thinning hair products work like nothing Ive ever tried before. Service is wonderful and atmosphere calming.

Wonderful experience I had the spa pedicure! They did a much better job than anyone else in Murray who Ive been to very very clean environment and clean sanitary tools kind staff offered me a beverage and a hot bean bag for my neck when I got there for my appointment . Will definitely come back and try other services they offer !!

For this area it is a much higher lvl spa. Everyone is friendly but the reception desk is often vacant and it is not overly handicapped accessible.

It is with a lot of sadness that I write this one-star review, as EDS had formerly been a favorite of mine. Though I am by no means a regular customer, it was always a treat to go there for my birthday and special occasions.This review is less about the shoddy service received and more about managements unwillingness to make right a substandard service provided by their staff.I had decided to have my nails done for a weekend away with my husband. The shellac manicure came out streaked and unappealing and I did not receive the entirety of the service I had paid for. Because of time restraints, I was unable to immediately address the issue, and also wanted to ensure that I had not misunderstood the service by checking the description on the website.I notified the salon about the substandard service and asked them for their suggestions on a resolution. They read my message, and after 24-hours of non-response (when their site noted they generally replied within the hour), I messaged again to note my disappointment that they had chosen not to respond and requested a refund of the price I had paid for the manicure. Finally, I was messaged by an employee (not the owner) who said that the owner prolly had not seen the message. I was aghast that not only would an employee not notify the owner of a dissatisfied customer, but also the lack of concern by the employee and lack of communication between spa owner and their customers.Time passed, as did the weekend, for which I had had my nails done, when I finally received a response that they would re-do my nails. At that point, a re-do was not an acceptable resolution to me. And again I waited. And waited and waited for a response. When none was forthcoming, I again expressed my displeasure and let the spa know of my intent to warn other potential customers of their lack of professionalism - perhaps in a last ditch hope that they would attempt to make things right. What I received was a simple thumbs up in response. It felt like a smack in the face and has soured me even more on the spa.

20 minutes in the eucalyptus sauna is awesome for allergies, I can breathe clear!
