Had to call to track my package. The date that was given for delivery had passed and the gentlemen stated that the carrier couldnt find my location. So it was transferred to USPS. I have received packages from this service before and had similar experiences. Shipment needs better updates. Thankful I did receive my package in time.

The ladies were helpful and very patient. The thing is, you must prepare some money when your family is going to pick the boxes up. They will taxe you again even more than you paid in USA. International shipping.

I dont know whos fault it is, I had a package coming from jamaica some of my stuff was missing my package of coffee 3...each has 24 coffee were all missing 1 from each box which dont make any sense to me. all my other stuff was open and tape with custom tape...all stuff that I had to eat were open and play around in.

This company is very negligent when it comes to how they handle your packages and it’s employees.On yesterday I was expecting a package and still haven’t seen them. Come to find out my regular delivery driver wasn’t the one who delivered the packages in our community. This young lady is on point, courteous, and considerate. If I’m not home she calls to alert me that she’s been to my home and where she’s left my items. My neighbor said it was another person in our community delivering packages, I pray the deliver my items and haven’t either kept them or delivered them to the wrong address.

RICHMOND VA: Had TWO pickups scheduled for TODAY. Both scheduled before 2:47pm. No phone call, no error pop up notification online saying there was a problem and all the paperwork and labels have TODAYS date. I asked the driver arrive between 4-6pm. It was 5:15 and they still hadnt arrived so then I call DHL and was told I scheduled too late in the day and the best they could do was pick up tomorrow AM. Then she put me on hold for 5+ min. (had already been on the phone w/ her for 20-25) but after hearing your Aint No Mountain High Enough speel I had to hang up. Our customer NEEDED this to go TODAY. LEAST you can do is NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER THAT THEY CANT PICK UP AS REQUESTED!!!!! Could have sent another way had I known. HORRIBLE

Service provided by Richmond DHL sucks. Package was not delivered by this location as promise. Package is hold at this location with no reason.It took less time for the shipment to get to DHL Richmond from Europe than from DHL to me (approx. 120 miles).Also no help from customer service. Nobody knows anything and customer service cannot directly contact this location. Unbelievable. Avoid DHL.

Ill cancel my next order if it ships DHL. I paid for express shipping so I could have my order by this weekend. On Friday morning at 10:00, the tracker said it was on the way from Richmond to VA Beach so I waited at home. At 4:00, I checked the tracker again and it said the delivery failed because I didnt provide an access code. The courior apparently saw the call box outside the building and assumed there was a code that I neglected to provide and left. Other couriers and visitors have no issues with the call box. Even though they guaranteed the delivery by the end of the day, when I called to tell them what happened to see if theyd come back, they said DHL only makes one delivery attempt per day. I have to reschedule the delivery for Monday, but I wouldnt be able to go pick it up till Tuesday. Id have to leave work early to get there before they close and it would be a 4.5 hour round trip. My time, effort, and fuel costs would go into receiving a package late that I paid express shipping for. The 5 star reviews here all look fake and the 2 star and up are suspicious.

An international package DHL NEVER deliver on the day tracking tells me it should be delivered on. They are liars. I have now started to tell international sellers that I cant purchase from them if DHL is their only option for shipping.

To ship a small package, I had to wait for someone to show up at the counter, that too after calling the customer service and asking them to call them to get some help - wasted 20 minutes there. Then I had to pay $89 and wait for another 30 minutes before this customer service rep could figure out the system and get the label printed. After sitting back in the car, he comes running to see my Driver’s License. Wasted almost an hour. I should have gone to the Post Office in the first place.

These guys are the real GOATs. They deliver all my stuff ASAP and are incredibly helpful and are willing to go out of their way to help find and deliver packages. Seriously DHL overall may be kind of bad but this Richmond team is top notch. also shout out to my Uncle Lin for shipping those sneakers real quick.

I almost got hit by a Dhl driver whose lane ended and they didn’t care that I was already established in a lane and had right away! Why? I thought your company had professional drivers who considered the safety of those around them. Guess I’ll be taking my business elsewhere since I am not going to contribute to them killing someone.

DHL is very expensive. You dont get to find out how much youll be charged until after the package is delivered. When you go to the counter to leave your package, they are able to tell you very much. They say that it is to protect your account. That just isnt a good enough reason.To illustrate, I shipped a 3 lb package to India and had to wait 2 months to find out that it cost me $105! That same package would have cost me about $30 to ship using the United States Postal Service. I recognize that DHLs international service is faster and more reliable than the United States Postal Service. However, charging nearly four times the price months later makes me want to stick with the United States Postal Service.

Package first attempt delivery was 10/24/2018 at approximately 7:15pm. My leasing office closes at 6pm. And you only can enter unless you have a key card or buzzed in by the call box. I’ve rescheduled for a second attempt for yesterday’s date, but haven’t gotten one as of today 10/26/2018, so I re-sent another one for today. It’s still on hold in Richmond, VA.

My package has PROCESSED THROUGH SORT FACILITY 9 times over the course of the last 4 days at Sandston DHL facility....there is no way to talk to a human being about this problem. If I were relying on this package for personal health reasons I could have been hospitalized by now. It is a shame I cannot give a zero star review.

DHL regular customer service is not the greatest. However, my local dispatch center was fantastic! I had ordered a tablet for my grandson. It was late and didnt arrive for Christmas. Of course, a 7 yr old was devastated! I called the local dispatch and even though they tried to deliver it, it was accidentally sent to my post office box. They arranged to have a different driver meet up with the driver who had the package and brought it to me about 7:30 that night. Thanks DHL! You saved Christmas!

I will never order anything that go through this company EVER IN LIFE. I got a email on Monday saying my package would come before the end of the day. Called to let them no to leave it with my leasing office befor 5. If not just leave it on my door. PACKAGE DO NOT COME called them ask asked them y my package didn’t come. They told me the representative was confused about what day to send it when it clearly said Monday. So after I spoke with them Tuesday and they confirmed that it was coming before closing time on Tuesday once again I received the email stating that my package was on the way and again it did not come so I called them once again and they did not understand why my package was not delivered so here we are today and I’m still waiting on my package and I called them and the lady told me my package was not on the truck. Horrible services miscommunication with the representatives. If I can give them zero stars I would.

I was leaving for vacation on a Saturday and ordered rx glasses before the trip. I didn’t receive it on the Friday night per the tracking. Saturday I called in the AM as I was leaving that afternoon and the call center rep said that they don’t deliver on the weekends. A little over hour after I left for my trip, I get an alert saying my package was delivered. Not only was the shipping not accurate, but the call center rep was as well. I could have waited an hour or two if I had known and am quite irritated with the whole situation.

My DHL experience was a bit messy but worked out really well. A package I didn’t know was coming arrived, and I was not home, so they left a hang tag. Went online and set it so that I could pick up here. Arrived right on time as they opened at 10AM, rang the bell, and was helped and out the door with my package within 5 minutes.

Absolute garbage. Recommend you all be fired and hire brand new staff and management and drivers that have a bit more competence than the current ones. If I could give you zero stars I would in a heartbeat.

DHL driver delivered to the wrong address, even though I gave correct address. Then proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do about it and to contact the company I bought the item from. Keep in mind this item was a Christmas present, it took them a week to get back with me on why I didnt receive my package and I was placed on hold for 20-45 minutes each time I tried to contact them. The first person I spoke with had a condescending attitude towards me and told me to check my porch (I think thats a given when awaiting a package) he also let me know they closed in ten minutes so he really couldnt help me. Bad service from begging to end of my experience. Dont use DHL.

I had packages arrive from Dubai and India in the time specified and the driver even texted and called ahead to make sure I was there. Outstanding service. The driver was impressive. She even caught that one of the addresses was wrong and realized the name was the same, so she made sure to verify ahead. These were important packages and the service was above and beyond. By contrast, on the same day, I had packages come from Lasership and they lost them and then lied to me 4 separate times, wasting time and money.

The delivery service is horrible. I signed up to have my package delivered today and they STILL held it. They’re closed over the weekend so I’m at a huge inconvenience. More than likely I will need to return the package due to the delay.
