Lacuana did my first ever Brazilian wax and inner thighs and she was amazing! Definitely recommend you book with her, I was extremely nervous about my first time and she made it as comfortable as possible and was really patient with me. It’s always going to be a little painful getting a wax but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I anticipated. Thank you so much Lacuana!

Got a Brazilian she applied baby powder before during and after which isnt good for for anything. Had the go home and shave. Waste of money. They were nice but the service was not acceptable. Also having to deal with ingrown hair which I dont usually have because of all the baby powder. Never again

Today I had the worst wax experience ever.My appointment was at 9:30. I arrived a couple minutes prior to be told they were running behind. I asked how long. He said 5 minutes. I decided to wait outside. He said he would text me. I checked in ~10 minutes and was told it would be longer, again he would text me.30+ minutes later I was text.I arrived immediately and was taken to the room. After the first wax application the provider said it wasn’t hot enough. After she pounded on the wax machine for awhile, she ask someone else to come check (and pound on the wax machine).I was eventually moved to another room. The provider performed the full face wax service, and said she was finished.I still felt something. She said it was just wax (shouldn’t that have been cleaned?). She didn’t offer a mirror to check and did no tweezer work.After I got off the table, I looked in the mirror and saw several hairs still around my eyebrows. She was very annoyed when I asked her to look again.When I left almost 1.5 hr past my original appointment time, I did ask for a discount. I’m not sure what was applied. I still left a 20% gratuity.When I went home, I realized she missed most of the left side of my face and other areas.I am beyond words. So many things we must all try to get complete during our off work time. To spend 1.5 hr (and $50+ and it still not be finished is beyond words).
My experience was wonderful! Whenever I arrived I was greeted by Taesia & Alexis.. they had already known my name based off the booking I did online!! (so cool they paid attention to that) Samantha then walked out from the back & shown excitement that her 12:15 was there! She also knew my name! I got my eyebrows waxed and my experience was relaxing and just what I needed. Whenever I was leaving, Taesia and Alexis offered me some samples of a product I was eyeing & even told me about there awesome reopening special! I will definitely be back! Thanks so much 🥺❤️

I recently moved to Tennessee and had used EWC in CA and loved it. I had originally made an appointment with the location in Franklin, but they called and cancelled my reservation an HOUR before my appointment! (I am really frustrated with how the Franklin center handled this, but thats another story)... Any who, I called up the Murfreesboro location and they were able to get me in within two hours for services! My wax specialist was Taesia and she was AWESOME! She took the time to get to know me and made me feel super comfortable. I will definitely be going back to see Taesia and the Murfreesboro center again!

This was going to be my first and last experience here! I never made it to the back. Obviously nobody does housekeeping! As I sat waiting..... 3 workers came walking thru the front entry CARRYING GARBAGE BAGS OF OTHER PEOPLES WAXING EXPERIENCE! Now this is where customers and NEW CUSTOMERS sit. That was a deal breaker for me, and made me question the sterile environment in the back! I couldnt get out of the door fast enough!

Reading all reviews i would like to say that myexperience was different. Kathy was very friendly and helpful and told me about passes and discounts for it being my first time . She cares about the clients . Christina did my eyebrows and was friendly as well . New vibe in the center from what i’m reading you should definitely give it a 2nd chance ☺️
Owner treats staff poorly, I finally left after the opening of the other waxing facilities. I was tired of having a new person every time I went back due to the staff quitting ALL THE TIME!!! Same story with each. What’s really sad is that the new place that I’ve been going to have the old staff and they told me HORRIBLE stories of how they were treated. Even more so I’ve had staff complain to me while I’m getting waxed!!!! Talk about an uncomfortable situation!!!
Cauri was amazing. I will book with her from now on. She was charismatic, super kind and understanding. This is the first time I’ve gotten such a great wax and didn’t cry! Or leave super red. 10/12 would recommend.
Unless this location gets new ownership/management and a new face at the front go to the Brentwood location. Brentwood staff is friendly and professional. The Murfreesboro location Doesn’t care at all about customer experience. Just read the reviews below..I read them after my experience this morning and they’re completely true.
The lady that waxed me was AMAZING!!! The first time I’ve ever gotten waxed and she was awesome. The owner however was very nasty, and rude. She made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome, but the waxer made me super comfortable! The owner made my boyfriend get up out of his seat because another customer was walking in. It wasn’t what she said but the tone she used was condescending. She was very passive aggressive and rude when he needed to use the public restroom.
I started going to EWC back in 2018 when I saw an ad in Cosmopolitan magazine. I’ve been to this location, Brentwood & Cool Springs and have purchased two eyebrow wax passes. All three locations have messed up my eyebrows so badly I switched salons the first two times and started going to Murfreesboro until they messed them up by thinning them too much and taking the tail off one. I had to wait almost three full months before I felt comfortable to go back in. And then came the scheduling issues. They never have appointments available when I can go in without my three kids. The first time I went here the lady at the front counter was new and couldn’t get my wax pass and called everyone she had numbers for for about 15 minutes and of course not a single person answered so I ended paying out of pocket. She said she’d leave a message for the manager to call me and after a week I called them because no one had contacted me. Their app didn’t work for this location for about 4 months so I always had to call to schedule and was told I was only allowed to do walk ins so I did two of those and then all of a sudden my app started letting me schedule again but when I tried back in March I had to call and she said the time that showed available on my end wasn’t on theirs. Then I waited til last weekend and they called to tell me the employee called out so they only had a time available that didn’t work for me so didn’t go. Then yesterday I attempted to cancel/reschedule on my app and they called to tell me I missed my appointment...oh well! I have now started going to SkinPh which is local and not a huge company who actually are polite. The lady who calls on the phone never apologizes when they contact you if it’s their fault they’re canceling or ever apologizes for anything. She’s very dry and you can tell they don’t care whether you come anymore or not be they already got money from you and it’s almost as if it’s laughable to them. I have 7 paid eyebrow waxes on my account+500 points that are now a huge waste of money. Why would we women want to go somewhere where we’re just seen as a $ not a woman who deserves the best to feel beautiful? Why would I return somewhere where when I leave I feel like I look worse than when I walked in? The techs are very nice but I go there so my eyebrows make me feel beautiful and that’s not what’s happening. Sad this has been experiences and I wish this wasn’t true but if I don’t feel appreciated then I don’t go to that business.
My review keeps getting deleted so I’ll go ahead and post again, the owner is a older woman with blonde hair. She is rude and disrespectful to customers, including myself. Also check out the Facebook post that was reported of her racially discriminating against customers. Also she treats her staff like garbage. Don’t give her your business.
I wasn’t to sure about making my appointment here because of the bad reviews, but I’m glad I did. Receptionist was so nice and courteous. The girl who waxed me was so sweet and fast. Definitely going to be coming here regularly.

This location refuses to accept the Frontline Hero free wax certificate. I will be going to Brentwood from now on, since they graciously do honor it.
I would advise going to the Brazilian wax studio across the way. Prior to this location temporarily closing, I went every month and saw Liz, who was amazing! After re-opening this location no longer makes confirmation calls, they are cancelling appts without notifying you, and the few people left working must be new to waxing because the quality of the waxes are awful. A Brazilian wax is now taking 45 minutes, as if waxing wasnt uncomfortable to begin with the esthetician is breaking the wax when ripping. Due to laziness or poor skill set, the esthetician is leaving hair in clearly visible places. NOT WORTH $60 .The Brazilian Wax Studio is half the cost and they team provides a much better experience.
EWC corporate needs to intervene and get this place under new management.

This place was wonderfully accommodating. I had an appointment at another establishment and was informed at that business I couldnt have a person in the room with me without a dr written note due to my PTSD. So, I contacted European Wax Center and they immediately accepted me as a walk in appointment and allowed my support person back with me no questions asked. My waxer was patient and friendly and did an awesome job.Thank you European Wax Center for working with me and my disability.
These stores are franchised. The brand and team are amazing. The franchisee is a tyrant. She hasn’t been able to hire or keep a manager in 2 years. The turnover is ridiculous for waxers, as well. She doesn’t participate in the corporate sponsored points system, product promotions or return policy. When customer service issues occur, she will not address them and has restrictions in the register so no one can assist the guest. Corporate, please do something for these girls that are trying to maintain your brand and ethics under such scrutiny.
Seems like all of the good waxers have now been replaced. Once I use the rest of my wax pass Im considering finding another place. The waxers dont pay attention to detail and definitely dont care about your pain.
I really like Chanel at the Avenue location. The issue here is, every time I have booked online, I arrive and there is no evidence of my appointment. After the first time, I was advised that their system was acting funny. Next two times, I took a screenshot of my appointment to show that I booked online. Today, I was advised to call for future appointments. I don’t appreciate this feedback as there is a reason people appreciate the convenience of a few clicks online and don’t have to be asked to hold until someone can speak. I would expect to be accommodated immediately considering the mistake but instead, was offered later times. This is disrespectful of my time. I’m saddened by this as I understand it isn’t Chanel’s fault but, I don’t anticipate returning.
I used to love EWC I was a regular customer. They refuse to have wipes in the bathroom anymore, but continue to go up on their price! If you wanna charge more then keep what guests expect! There is never paper towels in the bathroom!

This place is great, but what really make it makes it awesome is Toby. She has been my wax lady for about two years now. Hands down she is the best!! She always has a smile on her face and has such a vibrant sweet personality. If you need any waxing done she is the girl you need to go to.
Sitting in the lobby, haven’t even gone back for a wax yet, and the second I walked in the lady working the front desk seemed annoyed by myself and my friends who had made appointments. She was very rude and hostile to us about one of us needing to bring back a tampon to another girl who had already gone back. Will not return and feel extremely uncomfortable.
Made an online appointment, was scheduled for a eyebrow and brazilian. It was the worse experience EVER. The young girl look at my eyebrows and said they didn’t need waxing and did do service. That’s not her choice to make. Then she started the brazilian out as a bikini wax and didn’t finish the service due to her wax wasn’t removing all the hair. I am a licensed cosmetologist and am very aware of how wax is supposes to feel and it wasn’t nearly hot enough to perform the service I desired. As I got dressed to leave she stirring her wax as she knew as well. I left and went to a different place and they was able to do both service with no problems.
GO TO BRAZILIAN WAX STUDIO!!! It is $35 for a Brazilian was! So much cheaper! They book 30 minute appointment slots and take their time and they are Christians with good values. They know how to treat customers. They JUST opened across the street from the avenue. Better price, better value, happier employees, happier customers. Love them!Will not be back. They need a grace period for being late. I work two jobs and it is hard to get in! I was 2 minutes late one time and got turned away. I was 1 minute late the next time and got turned away! But this policy doesnt apply to them! They can have me sitting in the waiting room ten minutes past my appt and that is okay. How about if they are late you deduct it from my total per minute?! Double standard here. Love the girl that does my wax, but not worth the rude employees at the front desk and the no grace late policy. I cant afford to keep driving up there to be turned away.Bad experience. Luckily as a consumer I have a choice as to where I go. I will not be back.Update: spoke with corporate. They contacted the owner and asked her to respond via email. She said that there IS a grace period and that I must have been mistaken.OH REEEEAAAAAALLLY?!Ummm NO. I was sent away twice for being 1 to 2 minutes late. Poor management there! I have asked around and apparently it is a known fact that the management is bad. The employees only have 15 minutes to do each person. And a lot of the time they cannot get everyone done in that timeframe. Hence: employees ask the front desk person to turn away anyone who is late. I have wasted gas to drive up there from Smyrna to be turned away.I called the Franklin office. I have a friend who LOVES that office. She raves about her experiences! That leaves me awfully confused in comparison to my terrible experiences. So I called to ask what their policy was on being late. They said that they do have a 7 minute grace period and that they always abide by it. And this was the girl at the front desk. She was so nice! I should have gone there instead but it was all the way in Franklin.So clearly the owner is not on the same page!Have been told that corporate has been asking the owner to sell. That she is managing it poorly AND other sources say that the employees are extremely unhappy. Small town. People talk.
UPDATE 1/13/17I have made contact with the manager. She has been e-mailing me with the wrong email address. My money has been refunded as a credit to my account, and upon calling and asking for a refund to my card she informed me they dont keep cards on file so Ill need to come in to get it refunded, which is fine as it is conveniently located. She was very polite and apologized profusely for the misunderstanding. I edited my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.European wax center is my go to for waxing services. Their passes make it affordable, and Ive only had a bad experience with a couple girls. With that being said, Ive become extremely frustrated with this location. I went in in December for a full leg. I have wax passes for Brazilian and full leg. Ive never had an issue using them before. Prior to going in, I looked on the app to make sure I had passes left. I had 3 leg and 4 Brazilian left. I go in, get my service done by Ashley who is amazing and a total sweet heart. I go to be checked out by a less than enthusiastic employee who has an snarky attitude about her. She tells me my total, and I tell her I have a pass. She insists I dont have any passes left. I inform her I purchased them at a different location and previously the other girls have had to look at a different screen. She insists again I dont have any. She said the manager will be in at 2 that day so she will pass along my contact info and have her call me. I say okay, pay full price and leave. I call the corporate number and they say I have passes left, but they cant issue me a refund and take a pass away over the phone because this location is a franchise. I hang up, and call this location back and ask for the manager. (This was well past 2 when the manager was supposed to contact me.) Im informed the manager will not be back in until January 3rd, and there is no one that is going to be in that can issue a refund until then. The girl also tells me the lady I checked out with earlier did not know how to look up my passes, and that my passes are there. I have problems with this. How can a location go for SO long without a manager? Not only that, but how can the manager be the only one able to process refunds? I dont understand how a business can run without someone there to take care of issues such as this. I understand nothing can be done until the 3rd, so I call back on the 3rd. The girl that answers the phone informs me the manager wont be back until the following week. I am extremely frustrated with this location for the constant run around and lack of management. I paid well over $600 for these passes, and would like to use them at the time of service, not deal with this mess. So here I am out $80 because of the lack of competency in an employee they allowed to be alone, having to call back over and over again to speak with a manager who leaves the location without supervision for several weeks. I was also informed Im not the only one waiting on a refund, so Im sure Im not the only disgruntled customer. I will NOT be returning to this location after this mess is sorted out. I will gladly drive to a different city to be taken care of.

EWC Murfreesboro has been my wax go-to since moving here, 3 years ago. Ive tried a few other places but none left me feeling like EWC does. Cauria was a hilarious joy to have! Funny, sweet, and very personable! Any time im in the Middle TN area, you all will remain my wax go-to!
Tobi is the best esthetician there! If you want great service, you want Tobi!!!!Unfortunately, I have ad a problem with getting a refund at this location as well. The Manger/Owner (Manager) is the only person available to issue refunds. However, she is rarely in the office and when she is there, she basically is refusing to complete her managerial duties. Ive submitted my complaint to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) because I have tried multiple times to resolve my issue regarding a refund without any follow up from management or better yet, any resolution to resolve my issue.I too own am a small business owner, but I have people on staff who CAN take care of matters when I am not available or there. I understand limiting who has access to specific information, files or processes; but to basically deny resolving issues because you dont officially work in the office is unacceptable. Perhaps hiring an Assistant Manager would help to offset these problems.1 month down and I am still trying to resolve an issue where I purchased a package for my daughter. She is moving to a state where there are no European Wax facilities available and I am simply asking for a refund for the unused portion of the waxes that I pre-paid for her and to stop any future billing on my credit card. Can we resolve this issue quickly?

I love this place!!!! Toby is AMAZING at what she does. She did my first brazilian at an old shop with wax and strip, then i followed her to his shop. This wax is MUCH BETTER. Give european wax a try... You will leave out a better smoother person :)
Do not go here, plenty of other options. I went to the European wax center today, Thursday in May. I usually see Karee who is excellent, but she wasn’t available. There was another girl available who was very sweet but she struggled with me and made the experience very painful I even bled unfortunately. I have referred friends and they can never somehow find where the friend referred me even when the friend calls their location to confirm my number and name, odd huh? So I added a service thinking I would get $10 off today I didn’t. Had the front desk person call the manager out front and this lady was beyond rude and very ignorant I have never come across a more ignorant person in management a day in my life. I will never go back to this place and I will be filing a complaint asap. I would avoid this place there was another lady there today too with a separate concern that the manager didn’t want to even take care of. Pitiful!

The lady at the front was always polite and got me in when I called. I got a birthday coupon in my email but didnt realize to receive the offer I had to drive an hour out of way to Franklin or Green Hills. When they pointed it out she said I couldnt use it and that they dont do birthday rewards at this location. Ive been coming to EWC just about every month for 2 years and if they dont value loyal costumers and I have to drive over an hour to be valued Id rather just pay my money into a privately owned salon down the street. Sad because I really liked my girl she was wonderful, oh well. Good job EWC Murfressboro.
Where do I start with this horrible experience. The girl that I serviced me pulled large patches with hardly any warning. I have had a bad experience before and shared my experience with her with hopes that she would be sensitive. Well the service hurt like crazy and I just felt like her technique was extremely insensitive for me practically being a first timer. No I am experiencing irritation like none other.
Where do I start? I was a European Wax Center Customer and have always sang their praises. I hate to have to give them a bad review, but this location is individually owned and franchise really has no control over how the policies between locations are handled with customers. I went in before Christmas when I was visiting my parents at this location. I received a full face service and the esthetician was super sweet and did what I thought to be a good job. I left red faced no makeup went to my parents home said my good byes and headed back home, I live approx. 3 hours away from this location. Went to sleep woke up and put my makeup on only to find I had patches of fuzz on my checks where she missed waxing. I walked out into living room and even my 16 yr old son noticed! How embarrassing! I immediately called the Murfreesboro location and asked what could be done if I could just run over to location by my home here and get touch up. The lady who answered phone said she thought that woulnt be a problem, so I called the location by my home and they said you have to go back to location service was done as they are individually owned. I called the Murfreesboro location back and she even called my local Wax center and said she just needs touch up, but they told her same and even reached out to regional to see what to do. The lady in Murfreesboro took my name number and email and said she would have manager call me to resolve. I also called Corporate European Wax Centers that day and ask for resolution and they took my information and said manager would get in touch with me. Approx. week later I called and ask if Mgr was ever going to call they said they would take number again and note acct for her to call me. Fast forward one month..I still hadn’t received call from manager and was told when I called this time to find out when I might get call by her employee she is hard to contact even for them, but she would take my information again and have her call. Well she emailed and said: I think you misunderstood policy you could get touch up within 7 days of service! This was it short and sweet little response from her. I promptly responded stating: I don’t think she understands what happened, I was three hours from facility and couldn’t just return. She never responded. I then contacted corporate again and told them I was not satisfied with response and lack of communication from Mgr. They sent another email to which she hatefully responded: “I have explained touch up service with you there is nothing left to discuss on this!” So fast forward several emails back and forth between us today trying to explain all I was asking for was a resolution of a touch up not even a credit or refund at my local store her, she refuses to find a problem with what happened...And I’m out a $60 service not complete! At this point the lack of professionalism from the OWNER of this facility taking a month and a half to respond to a problem and then not even acknowledging my complaint of service or even offering a credit at this point makes me just feel like a payment to European Wax Centers! It’s sad one stores owner can ruin my outlook on an entire corporations operation due to her lack of customer service skills to take care of a client with a unsatisfied service! I would never recommend this facility due to you are only a bottom line to them in the grand scheme of things...Worst owner of a business, I’ve ever dealt with! I would love to post the email exchange. But due to fact privacy of her email address I will not do so!
If I could give them a minus 5 stars I would and if they tell you that you are booked with Erin Phillips or Cauri Malone; request someone else. These ladies rush through services, have poor attitudes, lack professionalism, and have customer service equivalent to a jail inmate serving a meal. If you can find another wax center please do so. They have a very young staff incapable providing whats expected. After speaking to the manager Debra Poland and the owner Heather Ravory, they apparently condone such behavior which is a shame; because there is power in the dollar; and the lack thereof, as well as power in negative reviews. Their turn over rate is high so I assume they find anyone who can pull a wax strip. If you are OK with the rude individuals you employee, I am equally OK with taking my dollars elsewhere. Sincerely, no longer a customer.
This was the rudest place and I didnt even go in. I called to let them know I was 5 minutes late due to finding parking at the mall and was walking to the shop. They said I would have to reschedule and it wasnt their problem I had to park far away and walk. This place is not worth anything. And they had been rude the entire time.

My wife has been here one time and loved it. I went there to purchase a gift card for Christmas so that she could go again. I was asked to step aside and wait three times (for a person checking out and two phone calls that came after I started talking to her) The lady at the front could not find my wifes name in the system using her first and last name. So, she set her up in the system and offered me the half cost Brazilian wax for first time customers. The price was $21, so I also added the lower leg area for around $30. She gives me a receipt and I ask her to note the services that I purchased into her system so that they will know what the balance is for. She opens up my wifes name from the first visit (mispelled and under a different name) and proceeds to tell me that she will need to pay full price for the Brazilian even though I had already been offered and paid for the $21 service. She didnt offer me any solutions, apologies or alternatives, so I got my money back and will search somewhere else. I have heard the service is great, but the customer service was very disrespectful.

I love the type of wax the EWC uses but my concern is with the lack of great customer service ive received. When i went there, there was the weirdest women at the front desk, couldnt really tell if she was being sarcastic or if that was just her personality. She was tall skinny with frizzy blonde hair. I want to say her name was Debra but im not 100% certain. I asked about services and packages and she seemed uneducated about both subjects, no matter what i said she would just nod and smile this awkward smile, she seemed like she really didnt want to be there. I think this place would be great if they hired some new people at the front desk with better customer service skills and more educated wax associates, also they lady who performed my service made my eyebrows uneven, then proceeded to tell me i should purchase a product to help them grow..not the best experience ive had.
The receptionist was very rude and dismissive.
Its expensive to me when I pay over 50 for an Brazilian wax and theres still hair I have to remove myself.
