While I have no complaints against the nail techs, Ive seen many of them and had great experience with majority, I am not happy with the manager Chris and his customer service.I started a plan with them shortly after they opened. The subscription was credit based, earning discounted services by paying monthly. It was a good system for me and my daughter.When they changed their plans, I was told by an asst. mgr that my plan would continue and I would continue the credit system. I was not informed that it would automatically change into one of the new plans with endless services. I dont have time to go more than maybe once a month. I also used the credits with my daughter, which I couldnt do with the new plan.Unfortunately, I was being charged for this new plan for about 5 months before I found out that (1) I was not accruing credits and (2) I was wasting my money by not going to the salon.Once I found out, I changed back to a credit plan and then I asked the front desk hostesses on 2 separate occasions to ask about what I could do to maybe get reimbursed since I was misinformed and wasted over $500 with no services rendered.Every time I was told they would notify the manager, and I was patient because Ive had great experiences there and didnt think they would screw me over. After a month, I sent an email. Then I went in just to cancel my plan altogether, and it was only at that point that the manager Chris called me.He was unsympathetic to what happened. I was refunded about half of my money, but apparently the other half is my own fault. Regardless having been a member since its opening and only asking for service equal to what Ive already paid, I got cold customer service and lost too much money.Again, most of the employees are absolutely peaches. The not-user-friendly layout of their app and website for members left me uneducated on the plan change. Their uninformed employee misinformed me. I thought I was saving money and getting great service done, but in the end any money I might have saved before was completely negated.If you do weekly salon visits, this might be the place for you, but if like me, you get in when you can every 4-8 weeks as a treat, maybe not the place for you.

I recently moved to Florida full time and I miss Prose terribly. You never know how good you have something until it’s gone. I have had the hardest time finding a good place to have my nails done in Florida. I knew I could always count on them for good service and it was always really clean. Wishing they had one here.

I have been a member for about 2 years.The last 6 months, I have noticed a change in quality of treatments. I paid for me and a friend to go a few months ago. I never pay for extended massage, but I decided to this time. When booking, it says on the app that a signature pedicure is approximately 40 minutes and the extended massage adds 10 minutes. Our appointment began at 10:00 a.m., and we were in my car calling my husband at 10:35 a.m.My other complaint, the way the membership works is that you pay a set amount per month and you get credits towards treatments. I have a ton of credits built up and I cant go very often anymore because I moved farther away, so I called to see about cancelling my membership so that I can at least use the credits I already have before I get charged again and keep building up more credits that I dont need right now.I talked to a guy that seemed very helpful and was asking me questions about why I wanted to cancel etc. Since he was asking me so many questions, I figured that I would be able to cancel over the phone. He then told me that I have to come in to cancel. I wish he would have just told me that from the beginning instead of dragging it out and making me answer questions and wait on the phone for literally no reason.I hate leaving a negative review because I used to love this place so much, but now, not so much.

Loved getting the total detox at prose. My tech was great. However, I wish they had massage chairs and would ask me if Id like a neck pillow and drink a little more consistently.

Nice ambiance and very clean. Employees are nice. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed after reading such good reviews. I wish I could post pictures. I had a “signature manicure” that lasted about 15 minutes, tops. Very minimal “massage”, if any. The lotion was barely even rubbed in. No cuticle oil. I have areas that should’ve been cleaned up around the nail. Over all poor experience for me. My daughter, however, had a nightmare experience. She wanted tips with gel in a “coffin” shape. I absolutely hate to say this but the result left me questioning if the technician was new or even licensed. Several nails are crooked, several I can’t even describe the “shape” of them. She has cuts on almost every finger from the nail file and how hard they filed. We are not confrontational people so we paid our bill, reluctantly, and got out of there as quick as we could. I really wish things had gone differently but we will never be back.

I had booked an appointment with them 3 weeks out for my nieces graduation. My niece had never had a manicure so I wanted to make it special for her. There were 4 of us, 3 were getting manicures and I was getting a pedicure. I asked the lady who booked it if she would please makes sure that all of us would be seen at the same time, I had flown in for her special day so time was limited.I received a phone call an hour prior to the appointment explaining that one of the technicians had called out sick so there would probably be a 10 minute delay with one of the manicures. No big deal, 10 minutes is a cake walk. Unfortunately we we got there, the ladies forgot to check their check-in computer and didnt get to 2 of the ladies till 15 after. My mother was still waiting 20 minutes after them (decided at the last minute not to get it).As for my pedicure, well it was scheduled an hour after the original appointments were made. Needless to say that only 2 of us were taken care of. I really was so confused about the perfessionalism of this establishment. I had such high hopes for a memorable experience. There were literally 5 ladies standing around and nobody was willing to jump in to help our situation at all.I rarely dont write reviews but this really place was really disappointing. In this day in age of nail establishments being on every block, you would think that they would want to hussle for their money. There was a huge missed opportunity with the type of pedicure and gel manicure that was supposed to happen. Who doesnt like an extra $100.00 being added to their business? Do not recommend at all!👎

Love this place! They are a little more than some other places in town but worth every penny. Myisha did my pedicure and she was very friendly and professional. Their products are all natural, and this place does not have a strong acetone smell. Fantastic color selection as well. Book in advance, they fill up fast.

Was given a gift card for Christmas. Best pedicure I ever had. I like to take my teenage daughter. Getting an appt at the same time for us like we did the first time is early IMPOSSIBLE. So I booked a month ahead of time for us both to go 10:45am. Get a text at 10:38 (I’m pulling in parking lot). “Can we push your appt back to 12:05? Your artist won’t be here anymore today.” What?!!! I wouldn’t have minded if I hadn’t already left the house. I won’t be back. They need more help to be able to accommodate two ppl of same party at once. And I wish they would HONOR your appt when you can even get one 👎🏻

This place doesnt make appointments without giving them a credit card number, so I walked in and was able to be seen two hours later. There are no massage chairs or jetted foot tubs. You just sit in a normal chair with a pillow and a basin for your feet. Toi was my tech and the service was a signature pedicure. The pedicure was average but the massage was a total disappointment. Then after my nail polish was applied I was left sitting for 20+ minutes. Eventually wondering what was going on, one of the other technicians told me that my girl had left. She just left me there, her shift was over and she left the building! Really poor experience.

This was my first visit to PROSE but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I was directed by Sarah at the front desk, and enjoyed the tour she gave of the facility. I was placed with Shay, and she took great care of me. I was looking for style to match my ring and definitely got it! 😍

There was not a good color range. I came in asking for browns and had to compromise grays that did not match. I paid $50 for a gel set that lasted one week. Save your money!!

I visited Prose for a brow shape, trim & tint! Never been happier with my brows. Normally, I have my brows laminated however I was just as happy if not happier with my brows this time. Brittany was my Esthetician & I will most definitely rebook for monthly appointments. The only thing more I wish Prose offered would be Dermaplane. Hopefully in the near future!! I have two friends who also have visited Brittany & were extremely happy with their brows! Brittany was professional, quick and confident! She knows what she is doing!!

I am a extremely picky client and this is the first time I’ve ever gotten a mani&pedi that has meet my expectations. I am in love with my nail technician, Natasha is now my go to. thank you so much to all the staff for and amazing experience!!

I have been coming to PROSE Murfreesboro for over a year. This not like your normal nail salon. There are no harsh chemical smells period. The staff are all so very friendly. I highly recommend giving them a shot, you’ll never go anywhere else.

Got my nails done here at PROSE! This place is incredible! It’s literally PERFECTLY clean- which is so important to me! Plus, Shelby is super fantastic! She’s super knowledgeable and cares about the health of your nails!Plus, they have an incredible membership program! If you get your nails done regularly at all, I highly recommend the membership! Ive been meaning to leave a review for months, so here it is! I love this place! Its clean, no chemical smells, and comfortable! I absolutely recommend Brenda, she does an amazing job! I only go once a month, but she is always so nice and remembers me and my preferences (which means a lot because I know they are super busy). The staff make such a point to take care of you and provide great service. I always look forward to my next appointment.

I am not giving the business a one star but the nail technician a one star. Subscribed to the unlimited mani/pedi monthly subscription and scheduled an appointment at the same time for a week out. My partner arrives and starts her pedicure and I call to check on her and she tells me her nail tech Angie has cut her toe nails low as in as far down as you can below top oftoe without hitting nail bed. In addition to that, while doing the pedicure she was more focused on the football game that was on the television than her client. I called in to speak with a manager or owner and was told neither are present. I will be stopping by tomorrow to speak with someone.

They are so awesome!! Everyone was so friendly! I was greeted immediately and felt right at home. The GM (can’t remember her name) was so sweet. I had to wait a few minutes, but they definitely made it worth it! Got me a drink, let me start soaking my feet, gave me a hot neck wrap, and even gave me a phone charger to use while I was getting my pedicure!! Best salon I’ve ever been to! My tech was so sweet and did such a great job. I will most definitely be back!

I’m from Knoxville and was visiting my in laws, and my mother in law suggested Prose. Loved every minute of it. Shai was my technician and she had me laughing non stop. Wonderful experience! Will be back when I’m in town. Wish we had one in Knoxville!!!

If I could give 6 stars, I’d do it. This is the BEST salon experience I’ve ever had. The customer service is absolutely outstanding. The entire salon is clean and health conscious (a well-ventilated nail salon without chemicals, WHAT?!). Not to mention, my feet look and feel great. Shay was a wonderful artist and tech but I don’t doubt everyone there is phenomenal. I’ll be back!

I had issues with scheduling and a drop in the level of service which led me to post a negative review last week. But last night the manager reached out to me and was very sincere about some issues they have been working on improving and acknowledged they have had some transition problems. Im going to try them again and hope for the best. Regardless of whether I decide to remain a member of not, I was impressed that they cared enough to reach out to me. Great customer service is so rare anymore that I believe they deserve four stars regardless of how my next appointment goes! The salon has always impressed me with their cleanliness and unique approach to nails! I sincerely hope they get all of their scheduling and service issues resolved so that I want to remain a member.

I havent had a manicure in years (gel nails werent a thing if that gives you an indication of how long its been) due to my profession. The employees made me feel so comfortable. Extremely welcoming and pleasant. Very clean! Laquita did my manicure. She was the sweetest! She did a phenomenal job. My nails look amazing. Just as I hoped they would. I will definitely be back! Not a good first time experience but hey I am willing to give it another chance 😊 the owner manager was nice enough to call me and ask me to give it another try at no charge, so its only fair that I do. Usually I am a one time impress me or I do not go back to a place. So many places to choose from...so I say a place usually gets a chance to win me as a patron, so we will see....I realize everyone has an off day once and a while 💅

I love the place and the staff was pretty terrific....my issue is with the whole online booking process. If you are not familiar with the services it’s hard to understand what you need to pick from the add on menu. If you don’t pick exactly what you need, for example if you want dip but didn’t know that SNS means dip and don’t choose It, and you call in to clarify then you’re probably going to loose your appointment for that day....It is super annoying and frankly not great customer service 👎

My CDC gel nails are still in perfect chip-free condition, and it’s been almost 2 weeks since I went there to get them done!!! Prose is so posh! I loved my experience! I got a manicure with my favorite color, Asphalt in the CDC gel shellac. There is a large organized wall of endless colors to choose from, healthier and safer products than traditional nail salons, and even ventilated nail bar stations for cleaner air. They gave me a choice of water or botanical tea in a beautiful glass while they worked on my hands, informed me about the products they were using and why they do things differently, and even cleaned my wedding rings. The staff was so attentive, courteous, and professional. Thank you for bringing Prose to Tennessee!

My experience at Prose was exceptional. It was customized to meet my needs via the information they ask customers to share with them upon entering the nail salon- something that I have never experienced in the past when getting a manicure or pedicure. Some other things I really appreciated about my experience included the ventilated manicure area, the modern and clean facility, the natural products they use on your nails and skin, the friendly service, and a very knowledgeable and skilled nail technician. I am very happy Prose chose to come to Murfreesboro. Ive already made a second appointment and Im looking forward to it immensely!

Came in from out of town and did the $30 for the first service. Everything was very clean! I had Kenya, who just started recently, and she was amazing! I got a gel pedicure and it looks great. Couldnt recommend it more for a spa-like experience.

Love how this place has a ventilation system that removes the harsh chemical smell and also uses a more natural option for polish! Everyone was super kind and professional and the design was very modern and clean. Highly highly recommend!

I visited PROSE to get my nails ready for any ring shots taken during my engagement pictures, and Shannon came through! She even gave me some DIY tips to make them really shine for the pictures the next day. All the girls were very friendly and always made sure I was comfortable. They even cleaned my ring (which I had no idea was so dirty until they took it out of the machine!) I dont get my nails done often, but I would definitely visit PROSE again!

I had Christian and she is amazing!!! I work with children and my hands and feet are constantly neglected and beat up. She did my manicure and pedicure (my manicure was gel) and it is still there after almost 4 weeks! I was told what everything was before application and their sanitation and procedures are the best, cleanest, and safest compared to surrounding salons. Love them and purchased the membership!

I had a lovely time at Prose. They did a great job on my toes. It was very relaxing.

I received a gift certificate for a pedicure from a friennd and I cant even make an appointment without giving them my credit card number. Apparently they have a cancellation policy that they dont put on their gift certificates . I cant use my gift and not worry about fraudulent charges! Not worth the trouble.

I visited Prose today and had the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a nail salon. This was the first time my nails were not damaged when having gel polish removed. The gel polish I had on was from another salon which made it a little more difficult to remove. Laquita listened and took all my concerns into consideration when removing my polish. With gentle care my polish was removed, pain free, and without damage to my nails. I would definitely recommend this salon and will ask for Laquita when I return.

I went to Prose Salon for the 1st time today and I absolutely loved my service, my nail tech, Laura, was very professional. I was offered a phone charger, beverages, and a blanket while I waited. They also use vegan based products which is a huge plus! No harmful smells that hit you in the face when you walk in like other salons. I definitely recommend giving this salon a go, you’ll love it! Today was my first time at Prose and let me just say that it well exceeded my expectations! I loved the modern look of the salon and everything was extremely clean! I’ve been to many salons in the past and that is something I definitely look for. I was paired with Angie and she is absolutely wonderful!!!! I so enjoyed talking with her and did a great job on both mani and pedi! I will definitely book with her again soon!!

Do not go to this place!!! I previously had a membership here and cancelled it. I havent been to this place in months and they charged my card and kept my card information on file for absolutely no reason. They refuse to return my calls about the charge and I have made multiple attempts to contact them and speak with a manager!!!! DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF HERE!!!!!!

I went to PROSE tonight for a mani with gel and a pedicure. I did receive a discount on the services (50% off) by using a code that was advertised on Facebook for the grand opening. The salon itself is very pretty. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the products they offer. I was very excited about this nail salon when I read about their core values. All implements and tools are used only on you then disposed of, or sanitized to the maximum of industry standard. I really wanted my services to match the non discounted price, so I could justify returning. The tech that worked on me was very sweet, but her gel polish skills were sub par. The polish was taken to my cuticles, and sides so I feel that lifting will be an issue. She also got the polish, and top coat on the tips of my fingers. I don’t think this gel polish will last more than a week only time will tell. The pedicure was nice, but I went in with dry feet and came out with dry feet. All in all the salon is nice, the staff is nice, but the services I received didn’t match with the more expensive price. I am undecided on if I will return.

The staff is very friendly & I would recommend them but my feet left rougher than when I came in. Some just need a little more practice on pedicures & make sure the client feet are not rough leaving the establishment. I won’t be back but I do recommend you try them but def monitor to make sure your service was fulfilled before you leave because mine was not.

Not only did Kenya do a great job with my mani/pedi, I left in a much better mood than before I went in. It’s a very relaxing, fun and positive environment. And the products they use are the best I’ve seen in a salon by far.
