I highly recommend getting your hair done by Nikki Dickerson! She did a phenomenal job with my balayage and with my mother’s haircut. I can’t wait for her to cut and style my hair tomorrow!

My appointment with Teresa Goodwin today was wonderful. If you need your hair colored run straight to her. She really has a passion for what she does, takes her time, and shows a serious amount of care.

I think this is the best place to go and get your hair done! All of the people were so so nice and I will be back as soon as I can.

After a long search for a place that gets my hair (thick and very dark) they always seem to get it right. And even if it takes hours or multiple visits, I appreciate their patience and professionalism with me for making my blondes look great!

I saw Annette and she did EXCELLENT on my hair. I’ve been doing my own hair at home and it’s been rough, she was so patient and gave me tons of info about how to take care of my hair and restore it to its natural state. Her customer service is great. Also, the pricing is absolutely outstanding. I got a cut and color, my mom got a hair cut, and my little sister got her hair cut (all looks AMAZING) for only $180!!! This place is fantastic! I stopped in last week for a cut color and style. I booked with Jeri Ann and let me say she is wonderful! For years I have been trying to achieve a certain shade of red that has never turned out right until I went here! She knew exactly what I was going for and I havent loved my hair as much as I do now for years! I am so incredibly happy with my decision to come here!

The staff was very friendly and nice. Throughout the haircut process they made sure that I am keeping my mask on. But the next time for having a very short haircut I would try another hair salon.

I almost left the salon today in tears... my hair is EXACTLY how I envisioned it looking. I haven’t had my hair professionally done in years.. I have trust issues, not only with coloring it but cutting it. Lindsey did an amazing job. She listened to exactly what I described I wanted. She respected my requests & provided her professional opinions, which resulted in my hair turning out perfect!! She cut my hair to my desired length, and then styled it exactly how I style it daily. My hair is so soft and manageable, I have not been able to stop running my fingers through my hair since I’ve left the salon! The color is beautiful and vibrant, I don’t feel “blah” anymore. Lindsey was incredibly nice, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She also was very gentle and considerate (no hair pulling, accidental scratches, water sprayed in face, etc). The salon itself is super adorable, clean, and I felt like I was at an exclusive high-end salon the whole time I was there. This was my first time visiting this salon, and my first experience with Lindsey. I will definitely be back!

I strongly dislike that I need to make a negative review in regards to this company, especially right after I left a great review as I was leaving the salon.I would not recommend this salon and here is why.I called about two hours ahead of my appointment and spoke with a woman on the phone.I had asked her to specifically put me with a certain hairstylist if she was available because I had seen her hair work online and it was awesome.She declined my request and insisted that the woman she scheduled with me knew exactly what she was doing.Well, I now have messed up hair.My brown roots were terrible and I had requested to do what I always get done, to re-do my platinum highlights.Fast forward.My highlights are not platinum.I have a couple of lighter strands in my head but still have that nasty yellow color.On top of that, I have a smaller but big enough to see, orange circular patch on the right front side of my hairline and an orange patch further back on my head and not to mention, I still have brown roots as a total which is why I went to go get my hair re-highlighted to begin with.Extremely disappointed with my results.I am a first time client and I will not be back.I don’t have the money to get highlights done twice a month so I now have to wait this out and find a different salon.I’m sure you have wonderful stylists but the woman I was given messed up my head.

I was not happy with my wifes haircut. Also the face waxing was painful for her. Her recommendations were not taken in to consideration even after stating explicitly. I was disappointed.

I have really thick hair and every salon i went to this prier i have warned that you CANNOT use a comb in my hair and every time they do! OUCH! Any one with really thick hair understands, my girl Lindsey understood she knew exactly how to do my hair and when i told her i wanted to look like the little mermaid she knew what to do, from cut to color i was not disappointed at all. I wasnt rushed or felt like my hair was a bother at all. She was so sweet and absolutely amazing. And as for price i can tell you that you would only pay a fraction of the cost you would pay at other salons. Remember to ask for Lindsey she can handle even the thickest hair!!

I have been going here for almost 10 years now and I have always had an amazing experience here. My stylist at Bangz moved away recently and she made sure to pair everyone of her customers with another stylist before she left. That is how I got paired with Cynthia and she is wonderful! She does amazing work but not only that she always greets you with a smile and great conversation. She make the whole experience wonderful and I would highly recommend her and this salon to anyone searching for great people who do great work.

Lindsey did an amazing job on my hair and was fun and engaging the entire time.I got a beautiful undercut design and she evened out the bob cut I am currently growing out.It was obvious she that she was taking great care with my cut and explained everything to me the entire way through, including what to expect during the grow out process and what will help out for future cuts.10/10 will definitely be coming back for her service!

Loved this salon the first time I made an appointment. However, the next time I went in the experience made me never want to go back again. Not only did the manager/owner, Im not clear who he was, try to give my appointment away while I was sitting at the front, but he charged me extra for a style even though I told the hairdresser multiple times that I would just be putting a hat on after and she said she was just going to do it to see the cut. I paid just for the sake of not to argue. Seems like this salon is just out to squeeze money instead of value their customers. Sad because I would have only come to them and I loved the hairdresser!

Outrageous Pricing! I made an online appointment for my 17-year old daughter for $110. The owner/stylist kept her there for 6 hours for a color correction, cut and style. She then proceeded to charge us $450 saying she had decided to now charge $75/hr. which she did not consult us about. When I simply called for an explanation, the owner yelled at me for even asking why it was so high and told me she would call the police on me, and hung up. I only requested that the amount be adjusted to something more reasonable than half a grand! The owner then called me back leaving a hateful voicemail saying she would refund half, but she did not refund anything. I would NOT recommend ever going to this place.

Nothing but the best service. Have been going to Bangz for several years now and you cant beat the good people who do your hair, like the owner, Iret, she is the best. Does great work and treats you like they really appreciate you as a customer. Reasonable prices, would recommend to anyone.

I had my hair cut and the stylist did well. When I checked out I thought it was a little pricey and they dont offer a veterans discount. I feel businesses should offer a discount to prior military personnel and because of this I wont be going back to support this establishment.

This is the best place to get a quality haircut, period. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years now and have never left with a haircut I didn’t love. I adore Riki, but you’d be in good hands with any of their stylists I’m sure!

I had a great time at the salon. It was my first trip and I made a drastic cut to my hair. Everyone was kind and patient while we figured out exactly what to do with my new cut. I would recommend to anyone looking for a modern style and experience. Ask for Lindsey! She is awesome.

I am really picky as to how my hair is cut. I love layers and I have had bangs off and on my my life, but its hard to find a stylist who doesnt make it look like I have a mullet with bangs only an inch long. LAURA IS AMAZING! She never disappoints and always makes my hair look and feel so healthy. I will never see another hair sylist!!

LINDSEY TENPENNY IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! Words can’t explain how grateful I am for her!!! I was petrified to get my hair done for a year, following a horrendous experience at Tangerine in Murfreesboro. Tangerine was the worst experience I have EVER had getting my hair done. After waiting a year to gain the courage to get my hair done again, I finally went to Lindsey at Bangz. She literally did what Tangerine couldn’t even touch for half the price! If I could post a picture on here I would! I have never been so happy with my hair! I definitely feel comfortable going back to her for anything. Plus she is super nice and is great to talk to. I was so nervous the entire time because of my previous bad experience but she put me at ease. THANK YOU LINDSEY!!!! I love love love my hair.

I went here with my 1 year old, understanding they do childrens hair cuts. It was his first haircut and I was not sure where to go. No one seemed interested in helping us. I assume it was because he was so little. After 10 minutes of waiting and all the staff looking at us without helping, I left. One of the girls literally rolled her eyes, and dissappeared into the back, never to come back to the floor. I hate to say it, but we will never return. Very unprofessional. They could have just told us no. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time.

Great experience today. I was a walk-in and they worked me in right away. I love my hair. I have had many compliments on my new haircut. Thanks a bunch!

Most of the stylists at Bangz are absolutely wonderful. However the owner totally f my hair. The cut was horribly and noticeably uneven in the back, the color is striped all over my head and she fried my hair. I will never step foot in that establishment again.

I have been searching for a new stylists for the last six months, and I can finally say that Ive found the one. Lindsey cut my hair yesterday, and I havent been so pleased with a haircut in a long time. She listened to everything I had to say, and didnt make any assumptions in what needed to be done to my hair. There was a constant communication during my appointment to make sure that I got what I was wanting. In addition to walking out with a fantastic haircut, I was blessed to meet such a good hearted person. I cant vouche for the rest of the staff, but I cant imagine that any one working in there is bad. The atmosphere is pleasant and laid back, yet professional. I would recommend this salon to anyone, especially if you see Lindsey.

Was originally great. First 2 times were awesome. But I went in to get an all over color, and the woman doing my hair argued that it wouldnt look good growing out and suggested a more blended look. I know how that is supposed to look. I paid 140 and still have a very obvious root line and way lighter color than I wanted. The line was hidden until i got home and straightened it later to fix the curls. The curls which the stylist suggested i do halfway through straightening it.I have to now pay another 100 to fix it. Wouldnt recommend some of the women here.

Not sure how this place has so many good reviews, I just got the worst haircut of my life there. I made it very clear that I am growing my hair out and this woman cut off four months of growth and thinned out my hair without even asking me. She cut off more than half of my hair, and there wasnt that much to start with. The thinning is the worst, it will take me several months to get back to where I was. All I asked for was a trim around the back of my neck so the sides could catch up - anyone who has ever grown out a pixie knows you end up with a mullet without regular trims, but I honestly wish I could have the mullet back instead of this. I definitely do not recommend, Id rather let my husband cut my hair.

I have been going to Bangz for at least the last 10 years.Erritt,the owner, knows her stuff . I have very thick hair. she knows how to thin my hair great, and my color always looks good. My husband also goes there for his haircuts. The rest of staff are also nice and very professional. They are always busy, so that tells you they all are great. I have always been pleased by the service I have received at Bangz. More importantly my wife has been going there, and has a huge smile on her face whenever she is going to have a cut, style change or spa treatment. This smile is eclipsed only by the one on her face when she departs. She followed her stylist Lindsey who is an extremely talented stylist. The owner (Irit) also makes her presence know: offering advice when asked. Irit appears to enjoy mentoring the stylists while ensuring the customer is pleased. My wife says the prices are more than reasonable considering the quality of service received.

Kim is a great stylist. I have sat in her chair a couple of times. She always gets it right.

I spent two years looking for a stylist in Murfreesboro that could cut my fine, curly hair properly--I went EVERYWHERE. They all messed it up so badly that I started going back home to see my old stylist. One day, I ended up at Bangz with Cynthia because I needed a haircut that day, and now shes the only person Ill let cut my hair. Shes amazing. My hair looks like it has a style to it again instead of just hanging there (and if you have long, curly hair, you know what I mean).Cynthia listens to you about what you want, but shes also quick to tell you if something wont look quite like you think it might--and thats what you want in a stylist! I have to move soon, and I am really sad that Ill have to leave her.

Waste of time and money. I was there for almost 5 hours getting a cut and highlight! My stylist Josh took his sweet time. Mixed one color at a time and he was wearing house slippers. When it came time cut my hair he doesnt do it and had to ask the owner to cut my hair. She was very sweet but busy so I got a half assed cut and she didnt do what I asked. What is worse is that after all that time you could not even tell anything was done! It looked almost the exect same as when I went in. I would have gotten better results from Great Clips.

I started going to Bangz in 2010 when I lived in Murfreesboro. I have since moved and now live 30 minutes away, but continue to go to Irit at Bangz because she is the best stylist I have ever had. Time after time, I leave the salon with an awesome haircut that gets tons of compliments. Irit helps me choose a style that will work with my hair type and texture and she gives me styling tips so that I know how to get my hair to look as good as it does when she styles it. Not only do I leave Bangz loving my hair, but the price is really reasonable too! I have shoudler-length, naturally straight hair and I only $30 for a shampoo cut and style. You cant beat that. I have sent several friends to see Irit and they have all raved about her. I can honestly go on and on...awesome salon, awesome stylists at reasonable prices.
