Everything about Anda Spa was fabulous. The staff was extremely helpful while helping us set up an appointment and our massage therapists were fantastic. The couples massage was the perfect way to relax after spending a day sightseeing! Highly recommend the Himalayan salt stone massage ๐We look forward to visiting the spa again on our next trip to Minneapolis.
Amazing experience. They have everything a spa should have. 10/10 great customer service as well.
I went in excited to use the amenities such as the hot tub, sauna, and steam room. The website doesnโt tell you that the sauna and hot tub are only available by reservation (and a fee of $100 and a time limit on weekends .) that was definitely disappointing. Spa area was beautiful and clean, but the cleaning staff was honestly kind of rude and a little invasive of privacy. I was also surprised there were male staff cleaning around the lounge area. Another disappointment was that while I was in the aura lounge, I was interrupted and asked to leave at 5:45 bc there was a private partyโฆ but that info was not communicated when I spoke on the phone with staff twice within 48 hours while confirming my appointment. I was told I was free to use ALL amenities all day. Overall, I think Anda has great potential but needs to work on communication.
Reserved the quartz spa for an hour for two persons. The staff was very thoughtful in giving us a tour of the facilities. The quartz spa was reserved just for us two, which was very cool. Spa has the fabulous jacuzzi with very cool lighting effects, state of the art showers, and several lounge chairs. Afterwards received a pedicure from the absolutely amazing and delightful Marlena. Definitely recommend their facility and services.
We had a bachelorette party at Anda spa. The technicians and Naroopa were great and so accommodating. We even had a scheduling conflict with our party and Naroopa was awesome about it. She made sure everyone was comfortable and everything was running smoothly with our party. The complaint I do have however was communication with the Spa Director, Erin. We had a group of 11 people and communicating with her was horrible. We would go weeks with no response from her despite several follow-ups on our end. At one point I had to contact the general manager of the hotel to get some type of response. Honestly, I am not sure if contacting the GM helped because I never got a follow-up.Overall, the day of our event was great, but planning with the spa was a nightmare. So anyone who has a large party, be aware.
Anda Spa is amazing! My wife and I did the night spa experience, and I must say it was beyond worth it! I cannot recommend this place enough!
Beautiful spa. The relaxation rooms are amazing as is the steam room, jacuzzi room and sauna. Services were also great!
Anda Spa is the most luxurious spa in Minneapolis and the best retreat! My husband and I recently enjoyed the Night Spa experience with private access to the amazing Quartz Spa before an incredibly relaxing 2-hour treatment with Rowan and Natalie. The facilities are stunning and we left feeling so relaxed. Thank you for a truly restorative experience - we canโt wait to come back!
I came here on July 16th 2021. Honestly what I was expecting and what I received was totally different, the girl that worked the front desk was not very helpful and also the treatment that I received was below average- I was booked for a moisture drenching skin conditioning treatment- she was late 6 mins and she still ended my services at exactly 12:30 even thou it didnโt start until 11:40ishh and then she even left out a service that was a add on and then the front desk girl wanted to charge me for the additional add on and I kept repeating my self- she wasnโt believing me and then after going back and forth for about 10 mins she says wait let me go ask her- and she came and was oh sorry my apologies โyour rightโ she didnโt do that additional add service for the repair collagen eye maskโ. Also the snack is a tiny little cup of almonds and raisins and itโs water n tea for a upscale spa also the showers are dirty. itโs definitely not a nice space Iโve been to places where you pay 2x less the amount and you receive phenomenal service both the treatment and front desk. Also While Iโm in the womenโs locker room, there were 2 men that entered, and we cleaning or something I mean there was no warning or anything. Overall the only thing I like about this place is the treatment itself even thou it was cut short. I will not be back and I will make sure not to have my family n friends visit this place anymore. There is a lot wrong w anda spa- truly disappointed.
I refuse to go to any other spa. From making my reservation to arriving, to getting the physical massage the staff is just so amazing. I highly recommend this spa its extremely affordable.
Iโve been to Anda Spa twice now. The most recent being on 1/30/2021. The first time, my experience was average. I spent an unnecessary amount of time trying to check out. They couldnโt locate the gift card so I had to call the person who purchased it to see how much the amount was for, if they still had the receipt, and what card they used to pay for the gift card. This last time I was there, I had a 90 minute Handcrafted Massage. The last 30 minutes of my massage, the therapist gave up, or fell asleep, or both, Iโm not really really sure. She did the same motion for thirty minutes with little to no pressure. I hate to leave a negative review but for a $200 massage this was really pathetic. Iโve gotten mall massages that put in more effort. To top it off, I went to pay with a gift card, and surprise surprise- they couldnโt locate it in the system. Again asking me how much the gift card was for, which card it was purchased with etc. Iโm not sure whatโs going on here but Iโll definitely think twice before returning.
My fiancรฉ and I had pedicures with Jaymri and Marlena. They were talented, personable, and professional. We had a fantastic experience!
Atmosphere very relaxing. Massage was just ok. I loved the facial. Prices are high and they add twenty percent gratuity and ask for extra tip on top of that.
My favorite spa in the twin cities! Feels like a hidden gem! Itโs tranquil and helps to take me away from the hustle of the city.
This was my second visit to the Anda Spa for a 60 minute hand crafted massage and every time am blown away by the beauty and pristine quality of this spa. It is truly a gem within the heart of the Twin Cities and is the perfect way to treat yourself after a busy year. I love the gorgeous decor, the soft touches of pampas grass and chandeliers are beautiful and I was even offered bottled water and snacks during my stay which were individually packaged to remain safe during COVID. The professionalism of the therapists and staff is quality and I feel treated like a queen when I visit. The quartz spa is heavenly and is now open with reservation. The sauna is gorgeous and the soaking whirl pool made me feel like a mermaid in a grotto. The best part of the Anda Spa/Hotel Ivy though in my opinion is the AMAZING gym equipped with top notch Rogue fitness benches/barbells, concept2 rowers/skiiers, 2 Peloton bikes, Trueform trainer treads and more. There is something for everyone with this gym as they have every possible free weight/machine/space for the yogi to the power/oly lifter aficionado. 10/10 would recommend everything about this location and cant wait to experience it again and again!
This is the ONLY spa experience I would recommend in Minneapolis. The space is an amazing retreat with incredible amenities. I felt transported to a serene place and was able to completely relax and recharge. Although I only scheduled one service, I spent hours enjoying all the amenities in the Spa including a deep relaxation room. I arranged a massage, and Joy was amazing! The staff could not be more welcoming and accommodating. A truly luxurious experience and very well priced considering all the Spa has to offer.
I had my first appointment about 2 weeks ago. I was so impressed from the moment I drove up to the building! A very nice young man came running to my car to provide a complimentary valet service. The receptionist upon checking in was incredibly nice and accommodating with showing me around the facility. I had my massage with Mary. It was the most relaxing massage I have ever received! After my massage I took advantage of the jacuzzi area and heated lounge chairs and just relaxed for hours reading. I attempted the steam room and sauna but they were both a bit too hot for my liking. I will definitely be back! Thank you Anda Spa for such a wonderful experience!
The service at Anda Spa was SPECTACULAR! A guest of mine and I treated ourselves to a manicure and pedicure last week. The gals remembered our names and used them frequently during the services. They checked in making sure that the water temperature wasnt too hot, that the shape of our nails were how we liked them, etc. On top of that they made sure that we had everything that we needed including small glasses of water. I am already planning my next self-care day. Highly recommend.
Beautiful renovation to the gym and spa. Personal training is top notch in the state of the art gym, Cyrus and his team wonโt disappoint. Heโs knowledgeable and skilled. The complimentary valet and use of the spa after a great workout is a wonderful perk. Massage and facial were both nice. Would recommend and will return.
Its so expensive but my mom loved it
My experience at The Anda Spa was nothing short of phenomenal. Prior to my massage, I took advantage of unwinding in the newly re-designed relaxation lounge. After my service was complete, I spent time in the Quartz Spa where there are a variety of heated lounging areas perfect for reflection and peacefulness before getting on with my day. Lastly, the customer service was first class from start to finish and I would highly recommend booking a service at Anda Spa. I know I look forward to getting back soon.
I am hesitant in writing this, as I hate to leave a negative complaint, but I reached out to Anda Spa via email 2 separate times over the past week in hopes of resolving this, and have received no response whatsoever. I went Anda Spa on the evening of 11/23 and received a 60 min massage at 5:30. The massage was great and I have no complaints in regard to that, but its what happened afterwards that really tainted my experience. At 6:40pm, I was in the spa tub with my friend, at which point an employee began cleaning the floors around us, completely ruining the relaxing atmosphere. We then went into the sauna, at which point we were told it closes at 7pm. Then, we left to go shower in the provided showers, all the while the employee continued to clean in the bathroom area. I had absolutely NO privacy in changing or being comfortable, as she continued to just clean. The website and automated phone system says that the spa closes at 8pm- yet we could not use the facilities past 7? Unfortunately, we were basically rushed out of the door at 7:30pm by the clearly determined staff. Its extremely hard to justify spending $150+ for an experience that was ruined by inconsiderate staff. When a spa advertises that it wants guest to relax in terms of mind, body, and spirit, but then proceeds to ruin the relaxation piece of the experience, its hard to accept. As a nurse, I work hard and use my body constantly, so I allow myself these experiences every once in a great while- so to have it ruined really makes me upset. I felt as though I needed to reach out and report my experience, as its my hope that this is not an experience you support and hope to offer guests.
They charge a service fee for charging guests for the service provided. This is separate from the normal, expected charge for service. Only a small portion of the service fee goes to the service provider. The house keeps the rest. So basically, they are charging me for being able to charge me. Nickel-and-diming guests is really petty and caused me to not want to return. And I was never told about this service fee when booking my service. Also, I was rushed through the tour of the facilities. The woman doing the tour just pointed to things rather than showing me the amenities. I still have not seen the gym at all - it was not even mentioned. I also, due to the short tour, have no idea of the layout of the spa. NOTE TO SAM: I arrived 45 minutes early for my tour. As for the service fee, I was told only a portion goes to the technician, and was then asked if I wanted to add an extra gratuity. Please explain those 2 things.
I should probably start off saying Im not the Spa type person. But I have heard nothing but great things about Anda Spa. Since Im on Vacation and was not feeling kinda run down and sore a friend suggested a Spa Day. Figured. Why not?I decided to try the Ultimate Zen Ritual.Turned out to be the Total Heaven Experience! At first I wasnt to sure about the Scrub, but turned out to be pretty good after all.Let me tell you, the Hot Oil Scalp Ritual is to Die for!The Total Body Massage was one of the Best Massages Ive ever had!Thank you to the Entire Anda Spa Staff!I will definitely be back the next time I visit!
This is a fantastic spa that Iโve visited multiple times. The staff are exceptional. I have loved every treatment Iโve tried - facial, massage and skin care. I highly recommend.
I have been training with Cyrus since the Spa reopened and he is absolutely the best! Really appreciate the free valet parking and use of the facility. The water relaxation room, steam showers and dry sauna are absolutely beautiful. This has been a perfect transformation and I look forward to every visit there!
Overall nice experience but lack of communication cost the final star. I was coordinating for five guests and Kaydee did a nice job making it all work. I definitely needed to verify the CORRECT selections in facial/massage/nails were scheduled but thatโs an easy thing. My frustration is because they werenโt upfront about the โservice feeโ for the convenience of it being within the hotel. Okay once I understood it also included a tip for the providers. Would have been nice to know at the time of booking. It also was not mentioned that valet is covered with services $100+ if you are just visiting the location and not staying the night. Two simple things to communicate to make the experience complete. I also listened while she was booking a couple other guests via the phone and I did not hear the service fee or valet mentioned to those on the calls either so I donโt think I missed it. Kaydee did make an effort to make it right after some communication and a resolution was met to satisfy the information which was missed. The amenities were fabulous and staff friendly/attentive. The showers in the spa didnโt work nor were we shown how to operate them but the main one there worked and in the locker rooms without an issue. Used the weighted blanket room, steam bath, hot tub, warm chairs by the hot tub and the showers within the locker room. We will be back for another girlโs day (now knowing a bit more).
Beautiful spa, HORRIBLE customer service. The staff here is rude and do not contribute to a relaxing spa experience. I went for a girls day with my mom and sister and they rushed us through our services and kicked us out of the spa (even though they confirmed they would allow us to use the showers after our massages). The manager never called us back when we wanted to share our feedback. Very disappointed because I wanted to love this spa BUT I will never go back because I can find better customer service especially given the high prices here.
Highly disappointed. I was a big fan of the old Ivy Spa. This let me down. Receptionist was anything but helpful. Rushed through the tour, didnโt tell me if valet parking was still available. From checkin to checkout the receptionist made this first experience back the most awkward. You could tell she didnโt really care to be there. The facial was extremely mediocre and almost uncomfortable. The room was so loud with Street noise. Products used on face, terrible. My face didnโt even look healthy after their moisture drench facial. The facility is nice but lacks good service and real comfort you expect from a spa. I will probably never go back here which is sad.
Loved my hot stone massage !! It was so nice and calming.. The staff was wonderful to work with and very helpful! Will be returning soon!
A visit to Anda Spa is an absolute must whenever Im in Minneapolis! Sometimes I make an afternoon of it and book a massage, hydrafacial, and spend an hour in the fitness studio or Quartz Spa. If time is limited, I always take at least an hour so I can squeeze in a massage or hydrafacial -- I feel amazing and my skin literally glows after! I adore this spa and HIGHLY recommend booking a service here!
Visited Anda Spa while in Minneapolis for work, it was absolutely breathtaking. I treated myself to a Himalayan Salt Stone Massage and a Rose Quartz Facial. I would recommend Anda Spa to anyone visiting the area or even for those that live near by.
My experience at Anda Spa was phenomenal. Beautiful surroundings, amazing service. Highly recommend. I will be back!
If youโre looking for a relaxing spa day the Anda Spa is it! From the massages to the pedicures I couldnโt ask for a better experience. I will most definitely be back again!
Had an amazing massage that completely alleviated my middle back pain. Enjoyed a very refreshing Rose Quartz soak - the sauna and hydro pool are also very enjoyable.
Personal Training there is great and convenient. Valet parking while you train. Sessions are challenging. Spa is relaxing afterwards.
I had a very relaxing visit and Trisha was great @ massage.
Trisha Chavez one of the worst messages Iโve ever got this place is a joke! Donโt go here
Wonderful Place - Relaxing
