After recently moving to the area, I was looking for a new place to get my nails done as I had for the past 5+ years. This place was close and had seemingly good reviews so I decided to check it out, but I truly wish I would have driven the extra 30 minutes to my old salon.I went in with gel x extensions on with gel dip/powder, asking for a color change (I had bright orange on my nails, and now wanted light purple). The man doing my nails was clearly rushed as soon as I walked in, and gave me very limited polish options. He insisted that I pick a color dark enough to go over my orange, but at the time I didn’t quite understand what he meant by that. He quickly did my manicure, and I’m not kidding- didn’t even remove my orange polish. He layered purple gel polish over the lightly buffed orange and that was it. You could see the orange underneath my nails, and even on top of some of them. The customer next to me even asked “They’re painting over your old color? I’ve never seen that.” to which I agreed, and both nearby workers ignored us. The worst part was how thick and unnatural they looked. My hands were filthy from the UV light machine, and the underneath of my nails was a disaster. There was also polish all over my fingers, and with the price it left me wanting to cry. II had a pedicure immediately after with a woman, who did a wonderful job. My toes came out great and it was very relaxing. I decided to show her my nails, and she immediately confirmed that they weren’t done properly and offered to fix them. I was relieved! But it didn’t last long.She at first cleaned the underneath of my nails, and then asked if I was happy. I said no, and explained that I expected the orange polish to be taken off and for my nails to be thinner. She then took off the top purple layer and asked if it was thin enough. At that point I asked for the polish to be completely removed, and to not be charged for the manicure. She then insisted on completely fixing my nails, which I let her do. After having my nails completely removed with the use of another fake nail (painful and unhealthy), she put acrylic and gel polish on my nails. I had come in wanting a gel powder/dip fill, and I was now leaving with something I never even put on my nails before. I will now have to pay extra in the future to have it removed, and restart this entire process.After finishing, she then informed me that due to her extra work I was now being up-charged $30! $103 total for a decent pedicure and an hour wasted on nails they messed up themselves.I complained and she gave me a $5 discount. At that point I just wanted to go home. If the first man hadn’t rushed so much, I would be extremely upset over how much longer this process could have taken.

I brought my two daughters here. My 9 year old said this is best best nail salon in the world! We especially liked how friendly everyone is. The prices are very reasonable. We rate it 5 stars!

I stumbled in here on a whim and am SO GLAD I did! I love trying out of the ordinary nail designs and Susie did an AMAZING job! I love my marble/watercolor nails! I immediately got complimented on my nails by a cashier when I went to a store afterward. I will definitely be coming back here to get my nails and waxing done.

I loved coming here! I went with a group and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. Everything inside is new and clean and nice. It was quiet and I could chat with my friends.

The last few times I’ve been going to Lena Nails they are running at least 20 mins behind. Today I called, made an appointment and when I showed up on time they said they were running 35 mins behind. No apologies. Just blew me off. When I asked questions, I was ignored. Very unprofessional. They clearly over book and it’s a pattern. They say yes to get your money but have no consideration for the customers time.

I had the Deluxe pedicure with regular manicure.. one of the BEST pedicures I’ve ever had. Tina was my nail tech and was amazing, I will be back.

Tina is the BEST!!!! She was very friendly and was very detailed during the service. She seemed to know exactly what needs to be done and was constantly paying attention to details. I highly recommend Tina. The downside is that this place gets really busy and the parking lot is somewhat limited.

Besides the fact the nails turned out great, while i was leaving i forgot my purse it the salon and while we were turning out of the parking lot a women that works there came running out with my purse the our car to give it to us! it had my airpods and money ect in there and she came running to give it to me ive never been more thankful.

I went to get my nails fixed cause they messed up before. So I thought ok ill give them a chance to fix the mistake they made and it was the worst decision I made. My nails are lumpy, thick in some spots, nails are not even close to being the same shape and the man doing my nails seemed rushed and unconcerned with giving me half way decent nails!!! If I could give negative stars I would, DO NOT GO THERE!!

The guy was being really weird to me and he was calling me baby, and the nails were really expensive for a poor job, they got a bunch of nail polish on the sides on my fingers and didn’t clean it up, and they didn’t put the acrylic on correctly so you can see most of my nail. i was uncomfortable. i don’t recommend going here

Ive gotten a gel manicure and a pedicure here on two separate occasions. Both services were reasonably priced and the service was impeccable. Every employee was kind and pleasant. My manicurist was attentive to detail and clearly took pride in her work. The selection of gel colors was impressive. The gel manicure was the best I have EVER gotten and lasted more than three weeks without chipping. I will definitely be back again and again! Absolutely loved the atmosphere which was not rushed or hectic AT ALL!I would definitely recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!

Great reviews were not wrong! My nail tech did a fabulous job on both my gel manicure and gel pedicure. She is a perfectionist and it shows. I cant remember the last time my nails looked this good. The other employees were also friendly. Great find! I will 100% be back & refer my friends and family!!

I went here to get my nails fixed from where destroyed them. They were extremely nice and welcoming. My nail techs name was Tina I believe. She asked me exactly what I needed done and she understood my request. There was a small wait but it was worth it. She needed up adding acrylic to the set I already had and she fixed my broken nail. She gave me a discount on my gel after I told her about how I JUST paid for a full set the day before. At the end of my visit I was extremely satisfied and I will be returning.

This is the best nail salon I have been to hands down! Not only are the workers amazing and kind, they are all very talented. Cindy did my dipped manicure and listened to everything I wanted and made sure I liked the color, length, and shape of my nails. TINA, who did my pedicure, was so gentle and kind and took her time making sure I get the most out of my pedicure. It was very easy to make conversation with them and enjoy my time there. I will definitely be a regular customer from here on out and recommend everyone here. If you want beautiful nails and to be treated very well, then this is the right spot for you!

Hands down, this is the best place in town to get your nails done. The quality is far better than anywhere else and is a far more reasonable price. Ive been coming here. I stopped going because they were too crowded and it felt like me being there was overwhelming to them. I came back because no one else in town can do dip/powder as well as they can - and Im so glad I did! Their service has been great! I even left a pair of shoes there over a month ago because I walked out in the foam sandals for when you get your toes done. They held onto them for over a month because they trusted I would be back. I started going here about a year ago, but Ive started going regularly within the last few months (every two weeks or so). Everyone who works here is so nice, professional, gentle, and good at their job. Ive never been cut or scraped, and I get asked about my nails all the time. I love this place and I wont go anywhere else.Salon is beautiful, clean, staff is friendly and owner is awesome.Make sure to tip them because they deserve it.

Lived in Minneapolis for four years and just now found a great spot that worth my money. Ive been to this location twice ! Im normally a short and simple girl and thats what I got the first time I went and they were Beautiful and lasted longer then a month.Today I went back for a second time and got something more dramatic for a photo shoot Im having and was nerves. She executed my nails PERFECTLY definitely a quality place.The first image is me the second image is what I asked for !

I made an appointment at Lena Nails Spaand I loved it. The salon itself is nice and clean. Its roomy, they have TVs you can see from any chair (which are mostly all massage) and youre offered bottled water, tea upon arrival.The staff are helpful and accommodating - I wanted a gel polish I saw from another reviewer and then needed it matched for my toes. I have to give a special shoutout to Cindy who made my nail art dreams come true with the cutest cherries!Im glad this place is close to my office because I will definitely be back.

This was my first time visiting this spot. I must say by my first impression it was a good choice. Dont let the amount of people in there intimidate you. The wait time for me was minimal however next time I may make an appointment. Cindy was my tech and she did an awesome job. Just for fun, I decided to slap on some acrylic nails right before a vacation. The technician at Lena was fast (who has time to sit for two hours to get nails done?) and reasonable. Most importantly, my fake nails are light-years better-looking than my real ones and theyve held up well. Sad theyll have to come off once gardening season starts.

Im pretty picky when it comes to nail salons and my dip powder manicures. When my friend told me about this place I decided I would try it because it is right by my house. Not a disappointment. Everyone is so friendly in there, the shape of my nails was perfect and there are so many color options. They also do not charge extra for tips, which some nail salons do. i will return!!

This was my first time going here. I Got a pedicure and full set. The pedicure was one of the best I’ve had but the polish is lumpy in some places. I got it done by a woman. I got my full set done by a man and in 3 days, 4 nails broke. I don’t do much with my hands, I work in an office. 2 broke while I was sleeping. I called them and spoke to the man, he got upset and he said he needs to see my nails before he can tell me if there would be a charge or not. They charged me somewhere about 95 for the full set and pedi, that’s at least 10$ more than other shops.

My normal nail salon was closed since it is Sunday and I thought this nail salon might replace it. And that did not happen...The man that I had did not do all of the expected steps that you would think should happen before putting on the acrylics, for example he did not clip my cuticles or soak my hands/ I did not have to wash them. He seemed Very rushed and the worst part was he did not get the shape or the length correct. I asked for ballerina or coffin (keep in mind I showed him a picture then kept it on the table so he could reference back to it then said, in a rude way “I got it”) anyway, I received kind of like a square bubble... they were very rounded and fat but with a square top.Then for length, my thumb nails were obviously different from each other and my pointer finger was also a good amount off. The paint job was also very rough, the paint did not go to the edge of a few nails. Overall I am very very disappointed. I guess that’s what you get for trying new nail salons... although the interior was very nice. It had a good vibe and everyone seemed relaxed.Luckily I was able to go home and fix some of the mistakes but it is definitely not what I wanted or expected. But If you are looking for a good nail salon I suggest “Lena nails” on Robert street!

This has to be the best nail salon in the heights! I made my appointment at 6:30pm. Arrived a bit early, and was greeted right away and given all the gel colors to start my process.All their staff was very sweet and the manager constantly checked up on me to see if everything was ok.

I love this place! The hot stone massage pedicures are amazing! They take time to remove callouses gently so feet feel soft. Then they put a mask on your feet. Then massage with a hot stone. Heavenly!! Im not really into fake nails, nail art or even polish, so I cant really speak to that, but I highly recommend the pedicures!

Such an amazing place to go. Best place Ive ever been to to get my nails done. AMAZING service, super friendly staff, very sanitary/hygienic, great prices, and just overall amazing. The prices are lower than other places, but at the same time, you get more out of the experience--like hot rocks, hot towel, and massage for no extra cost on a standard pedicure. The nail kits are individually packaged, the tubs are lined with plastic that is changed with every new customer, and the nail artists wear gloves. So sanitary, friendly, and worth it. I had an amazing experience all 3 times Ive been there.

Ive been going to Lena Nails basically ever 2-3 weeks. My experience only continues to get better! The girls greet me, know my name, and are alway super friendly. Ive also never had a bad mani or pedi! This is the best place Ive had my nails done, probably ever. It doesnt matter which tech you get, theyre all awesome, friendly, and do a wonderful job!

Was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of service. Was not greeted upon entering the store and was ignored until I asked if anyone was working. Staff was rude. I brought my 85 year old African American grandmother with me and I am a Vet. I was embarrassed by the staff and although this place is a block away from my home, I’m going to start going to the nail salon on 44th and Nicollet instead. No time for rudeness! I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

My little sister and I got full acrylic sets with gel polish. They lasted us the longest weve ever gotten nails (3+ weeks)! Plan to go back in the future!

Good service, very friendly! A little pricey but it can be worth it depending on who provides the service. Be sure to ask the price before services and make sure you get a clear understanding. When I was there, I told the worker I wanted a new polish and to fix a nail. I asked the price and she said shell take care of me, dont worry! I asked if she heard me. She replied, yes. New color and fix nail. She proceeded to give me a fill that I didnt ask for. When she was done, I she told me $37. I was pissed off because I didnt ask for that. She replied, I didnt hear you.I also got a Pedicure that day. The pedi was great but the polish didnt last long.

The ambiance is instantly relaxing and comfortable with soothing music and the most comfy couches ever!We were all scheduled for mani-pedis and were instructed to pick out our colors. I chose a matte purple for my toesMy pedicure was the best Ive ever had!My manicure was just as fabulous. All of my bridesmaids had finished and there were other customers with appointments but I was never rushed. The manicurist took her time and did a wonderful jobI would highly recommend this place if you havent tried them yet.

I had the dip powder nails done as well as a deluxe pedicure. The entire experience was wonderful and my nails look perfect. I highly recommend the dip. Ask for details as I dont rememeber all of the benefits but I will never do gel again.

I really liked this nail salon overall! There is parking lot parking, but its on nicollet in a strip mall where there tends to be a lot of people just hanging around.The service was great here and Kathy took amazing care of me. I felt like my mom was doing my pedicure and even though it was a little hard to understand her, we had some nice conversation and she took her time to do a thorough job. I will definitely be back to get my nails done with kathy!

TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!! My best friend went to get her nails done for graduation & upon getting them done she realized that they were really messy, clumpy, and not shaped how she wanted them .. when she asked him to redo them he told her she had to pay him for the botched job he didn’t the first time & the new set he would fix ... when she refused he threatened to call the police and proceeds to kick her out of the nail salon all because she spoke up on the crappy job that he did .. and this wasn’t just anyone this was supposedly the owner ... not to mention when she asked for a different nail technician he refused to let her wait for anyone else, it was his service or nothing ... I do not recommend this shop AT ALL

This nail salon was recommended to me by a friend. That being said, it was a terrible experience. The staff talked to each other across the room, basically yelling over your head. After an hour, I had a terrible head ache. The man everyone the other reviews complains about did my nails, and he is as bad as everyone says. The polish is unevenly applied and missing in some places. My nails are very unevenly shaped and a couple have damaged sides.

When you want a fail-proof nail place this is the place. Ive gotten my wedding nails done by Tina (amazing work!), and have gone multiple times before a vacation. Ive had a regular mani/pedi with just nail polish, Ive had gel mani/pedis, and Ive had acrylic. Every time its been great service and quality work. Theyre fast but thorough and dont cut corners. A tad pricier than other places but I find when I go to the cheaper places Im always disappointed bc Im so used to this places quality!

Got a deluxe pedicure here with a friend. They did a great job! The massage chairs were amazing.Be aware that you have to tell them you want tip before they run your card. They wont ask, and there are no signs indicating so.When our toes were drying one of the technicians asked us to pay, so we handed her our cards. She ran them and then brought the receipts back, there was no where to add a tip, so we inquired about that. She said we had to tell them before running the card and that now we had to tip in cash and pointed to the atm. My friend had a $5 bill, but I didnt have any cash, so I had to get money out of the atm and incur the $2.75 fee. When we were leaving the owner/manager (who had been sitting at the front on his phone the entire time) told us that next time we have to tell them to add a tip. I said in the future, itd be helpful to know before running a persons card that they have to add the tip then. He again repeated that next time I have to tell them. They could easily have the technicians ask if the customer would like to add gratuity before running the card. Or they could put signs up. Instead of assuming the customer would know this.

The first time I went in for a fill Victor did a beautiful job, he took his time, was very informative and went the extra mile. I was very impressed, which was reflected in the tip I gave him.The second time I went in, I scheduled an appointment with him. He did a good job but was rushing and I felt I was keeping him from something. He only gave me two of their nailcolor wheels to choose from, I felt like I HAD to pick from those even though I knew they had many more and the color I wanted was not in the group he gave me. I felt like I would be out of line to ask for the other wheels so I just picked one from the options in front ofme. Overall, he did a good job. I thanked him and tipped him well although I was feeling slightly annoyed by his attitude.I decided to try it once more and I scheduled another appointment with Victor at 10 a.m. When I arrived, (on time) Victor was not there. He showed up 15 minutes late and didnt even offer an apology. I had made the appointment because I had a lunch date at 1 p.m. and wanted to be sure Id have enough time. Again he only gave me the same 2 nailcolor wheels, I asked him for the other ones and he exasperatedly got the others for me. When he gave me the others he said Im not going to get you any more.. Wait, what?!? I had seen him twice, selected a color and that was it. He treated me like I had been a problem client who demanded a 100 options! I couldnt be farther away from someone like that! Needless to say, I was put off by his snarky comment, it was completely unnecessary. He rushed through the service, did sloppy work and left the sides A MESS. I was very disappointed, the entire visit was a deal breaker. I paid him, tipped him the minimum and left.After that visit I decided I am not going back. I dont make a lot of money and having my nails done is the one splurge I allow myself. Why should I waste it on a service done by a tech that treats me like Im a problem, when Im anything but? No thanks, there are plenty of other shops and Nail Techs that would be a better choice. I almost feel like Victor roped me in by going the extra mile on my first visit and after that he didnt really care.Perhaps the other Nail Techs at Lena provide a higher quality service but overall I have no desire to ever return.

Ive been to this nail salon many times and they have consistently tried to scam me with new additional charges . if you are young or they arent familiar with you, they will tell you everything you want is extra. Such as a matte top coat, shaping the nails, or two different nail colors. When I came with an adult they didnt do that. Also the gel manicure comes off extremely easy and doesnt last long.

This is a great place for pedicures. Staff is friendly, caring, and offer a relaxing experience. They have recently redecorated and have new chairs.

I appreciated that they stayed later to get my nails done. But they half ass the work on my nails. Its uneven!! Im upset with myself because they said I can come in still and sounded nice about it, but they should have rescheduled with me because they were close to closing, so they suggested I stay, again, so I did because they sounded nice about it. At the end of they day, they just want my money, so they can pay rent, the guy who did my nails said that and I felt taken back from all the service they offered...again, they half ass the work. Went home with lots of bubbles in my nails, uneven nails, and chapped finger tips. I feel so bad about spending 68 dollars for those service. I wish I can get a refund.

Got a gel manicure. I am extremely picky about my nails. I was nervous when I read a review that they were half ass, but I was wiling to try them due to all the other good reviews. They could have spent a little more time on my cuticles, and filing. Would have been great if she would have bothered to clean under my nails, or actually push my nail beds back (she went the tha motions on that one, but didnt actually do anything). THAT SAID, the paint job was very good and I am happy with tha job she did. I will come back. I recommend trying it. They all seem very nice.

Probably the most terrible service Ive gotten. The guy did my nails and was so rude the moment I got there . He did a TERRIBLE job on my nails. They were uneven, sloppy, and still had chips of the acrylic hanging on and didnt care to even take it off. To make it worse, he kept throwing my hands when doing my nails and rushed when doing my nails fast, just so he can check his phone. Do not recommend at all save your money and go somewhere else. Never in my life have Ive been treated so bad like I did there.

Do not go here!!! They gave me a manicure that looked like I did it myself with lots of chips and overall a horrible job. They also waxed my lip and left a HUGE scar from skin coming off. The wax was low quality, the back room is not sanitary, and she did a horrible job with customer service as well. She answered two calls in two minutes, showing a complete disregard for me by doing my waxing job with one hand. Please, for your own sake, don’t go here- it may be cheap but that’s for a reason.

The guy that helped me with my acrylic nail was rude. I asked for him to do a coffin shape for the nails and he was upset that I didn’t tell him sooner. As he was using a machine to shave off some acrylic he went toward my wound on my thumb and use the tool across my wound and not only did it hurt but bled even more. Went to pay for me and my mother they rudely asked for a tip and charged us extra than they had said. Going home I noticed he had glued the sides of my finger onto the nail.

This place was absolutely terrible! I wish I could get my money back. Horrible customer service and TERRIBLY SLOPPY nail job.My nails turned out super wide, lumpy, uneven, and sloppy painted.I dont live in this city (just visiting) and I only went to this place because it was open on Sunday and had good reviews. However after going to this place, Im wondering if the good reviews are fake & paid for because my experience was completely different from what these people wrote.The nail techs were so rude and pushy! The older lady who did my pedi did not offer me anything to drink or for a chair massage when I sat down in the pedicure chair, but the other customers on the sides of me were offered water and massages.The worst part was that she trimmed my toenails crooked, gave me a lazy a** leg massage, and when she painted my toenails they turned out lumpy!Then the short-haired lady who did my full-set acrylic manicure cut & shaped my nails crookedly, painted them sloppily and just did a sloppy job throughout the entire process. She had paint all over my fingers and I had to ask her to paint my nails up to the cuticles because otherwise theyd look like they were two weeks old! On top of all that, she didnt even give me the standard hand & a massage.Honestly, I dont care *as much* about the massages, its really the sloppy job and the rude attitudes that I had to endure (and pay for) while visiting there for the 1st time. These nail techs need to go to cosmetology school to learn a thing or two. They were not detail oriented at all! They were sloppy and careless about it.Never again!Please AVOID wasting your time and money at this place because it is NOT worth it.
