I got a full set of acrylics (the almond shape was perfectly done) and a regular pedicure. The woman that did my nails was efficient, nice, and professional. The massage chair was nice and I was happy with the pedicure. I would come back here. Just as a heads up, when I went they were still running reduced hours (closing at 5pm instead of 7pm).

I went in today last minute and running late for a flight and they did a gel manicure and pedicure at the same time she did a beautiful job. Ha knows what she’s doing!!! Highly recommend this salon. I’ll be going back 💅🏾

They did me and my moms nails I love the lady who did mine she took her time and was really nice it was super quiet in there but my mom said that the lady who did hers was rushing to finish he nails so now they look sloppy the lady also did my moms toes and the look kind of nice. Im not a regular fan of pedicures but I went because of convenience and price one week ago on Tuesday during that one week my nails were totally messed up and Im going to my brothers funeral in Florida on tomorrow which is Thursday 05/27/2021 and I went in there 5/26 /21 not satisfied,I have an imperfection on One nail

I went to elegant nails for my basic manicure! Firstly the lady who was doing my manicure was very rude,not welcoming and helping at all. Secondly the nail polish that she applied was not even covering my full nails. Like sides and edges and top is left uncovered. Extremely rude and unprofessional place to go to. Didnt like the experience at all. I called to complain and they have the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

You think oh I work downtown, this is will work fine. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Nail Cops is right nearby and they are way better for the same price! I only went here because Nail Cops was closed. I have never had such a bad full set. Truly awful. And the tech used the grinder on my cuticles (WHAT??) to the point that my fingers were bleeding. Also Im not confident the tools they used on me were sanitary.Charged be $5 extra for OVAL SHAPE. Absolutely unheard of.Now I have to go pay extra somewhere to get these behemoths off my nails.

I came here on a whim for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. All of the technicians were very nice and polite. I feel like a little more time spent on exfoliation/removal of dead skin on the feet would be great but that’s just me being picky. The gel manicure was one of the best I’ve had in Minneapolis, the color was even and smooth and the tech made sure to double check each finger before finishing. The inside of the nail salon is clean and well kept and all of the tools they use are sanitized in open view which was a nice reassurance that everything used on your hands and feet is in fact clean. Nice experience overall, thank you!

Very basic job done with full set of acrylic tips. The acrylic is thick and my nails look like canoe paddles. Considering it was Valentines Day and I had a walk-in appointment I did not expect the best service possible as I understand the nail shop would be especially busy and the techs would be stretched to capacity. HOWEVER, what made me decide to not return to this shop was the rude attitude of the nail tech who sat at the front of the store, a man whose name I am not sure. I listened to his engagement with several customers and he asked one a question such as How much do you weigh? When I bumped my nail after sitting under the dryer (believing they were dry) he appeared bothered and told me they are never dry, EVER. Today when I began to share my experience at work two women mentioned this same person BEFORE I could speak of him. They both commented on this same person and how rude he is.

They do a really nice job but are also pretty rude. I have never written a review for any place until today because the guy I had (Pete I think) was SO RUDE!! I think if you are paying for a service you should get what you want and be able to ask questions or explain your desires without receiving attitude in return. He acted as though his client was an annoyance and throughout the whole appointment maintained a cold shoulder. Im undecided if I will return, but if I do I will definitely request someone else.

Convenient place if you work downtown Minneapolis. Staff was friendly and happily got me in right away. Staff did seem a little distracted at times talking to others but he did a great job on the service (gel manicure).

If you want good acrylics, don’t come here. My recent visit was very disappointing. I’ve come here plenty of times before and have been pretty satisfied but their overall service is rushed. My nail technician seemed more interested in getting it done than paying attention — which led to me having to constantly tell him to fix certain nails over and over. As friendly as their service is, it won’t hide the fact that they could do a lot better. Not sure about gel and mani/pedicures but I won’t be coming here again for artificial nails.

Wow.... can we say unprofessional. Now Im not going to say its because Im black. However he wouldnt even let me and my aunts and mom in. We couldnt even get in the salon. Automatically denied us. Saw us coming and said no no I close soon. Meanwhile the women (white) in the store seemed to think it was funny. I would not recommend this place at all. Ever. Spend your money in a place that will respect you and the green money you want to give them.

I don’t recommend. I felt like I was judged the minute I walked in. I’m assuming the guy is the owner he super rude and couldn’t perform no services I asked for from length all the way to shape of my nail he was unable. If you want amazing nails along with great service nail cop is the place to be.

They do a good job and it is reasonably priced but I have never received such pitiful customer service. The main owner guy will literally yell at you/slap your hand. Wish it wasnt the most convenient shop by me.

The woman did not soak my nails before trying to remove the gel I had on. I had to stop her but it was too late and she had ripped off some of my nail. I would have been better off trying to pick it off myself though then her method. The cat eye job was rushed and one of the lines is barely there, the others are barely even with each other. I was willing to pay $45 Paul tip for a nice nail job but this was ridiculous.She also answered the phone during my session which I think shows how much she cared..

Id give Elegant Nails a lower star if it were possible. The arrogant manager Peter said they dont have time to soak feet before cutting and filing nails on dry feet. Not only does this make it impossible to adequately manicure unsoftened cuticles but cutting nails straight from the street is not remotely sanitary!!!

One star is too much. Ive tried this shop out more than once and every time I get the absolutely worst customer service. In my last 3 visits, they tried to charge me extra for a nail service, cut my cuticles where I bled and argued with me that I gave them the wrong appointment time? Convenient for us who work downtown but not worth the headache.

Unfortunately I have to echo the fact that Peter is pretty rude. Particularly if you are not a blonde.Real weird dude. But whatever. Hanna and Michelle are extremely polite and professional so I stick with them. And since Im extremely busy at work, this location works best. And its my money. As long as I avoid his weird behind, Im ok.If there were another nearby choice--Id go elsewhere.2019 update: Now if I need to get my nails done downtown, I go to Nail Cops. MUCH more polite and courteous.

This was my first visit to this salon. The adorable Michelle removed my old gel mani, and gave me a new one -- a french mani with burgundy tips. She was sweet, precise, and efficient. She did a beautiful job -- I am very pleased.

I was very disappointed with this place. The service was rushed and was done very sloppy. The main owner or the male worker worked on my nails. He was very rude and pushy. Not only to me but to every customer that walked through the door. Especially to a woman in a wheelchair. I was appalled by how disrespectful he was to her. Never again will I go back to this place.

If you are not going to be open when your web site and sign say you are open then update it. I came here in need of a service and you were closed when it clearly says you should be open.

The staff seemed very rude and impolite. I couldnt wait to get out and definitely not planning to go back. My treatment was rushed and the guy who was doing my nails seemed annoyed and irritated the entire time. One of my nails was not shaped properly and when i politely asked him to fix it, he lashed out and told me he sees differetly and hes the one working so i should be quiet. I found this extremely unprofessional and could not understand why he would be offended by an opinion. He even made me pay before i was done shortly after i had made the suggestion. Poor service and rushed service
