I love Starr, she has been my hair stylist for over 20 years since we were in high school. However if you want Starr to do your hair, I encourage you to make an appointment. If you walking in chances are she will be to busy to fit you in.

I left the shop about 30 min ago, and I cant stop smiling! I showed up to my appointment with dry damaged and dirty hair. My stylist took her time on my tender head and was so incredibly gentle. Its been A LONG TIME since Ive had this kind of service! Keep up the excellent work ladies. I feel like a beautiful woman

This is a GREAT salon!!!! Really open space, not too crowded, amazing place for conversations, and you really do walk out feeling great, like a STAR! I had a full sew-in done ($150.00!!!) and it looks and feels soooooo good! I love my hair! Definitely affordable, quality work that makes you want to go back again and again, becoming associates with the stylists and other clients. Their virgin remi hair is brag worthy!Anything you would like done with your hair, anything you can imagine, Starr will make it a reality. The stylists are definitely skilled at working with childrens hair. If you have never been, I strongly urge you to schedule an appointment. If it has been awhile since you have been, I highly encourage you to become a regular. If you are are a regular client at the salon, you already know what the rest of us are missing!!!

Great salon, I usually just get a wash and straighten, but they do it quite wonderfully! Recommend to anyone who enjoys good hairstyles, good conversation, and decent pricing. FYI the shop is now located on 34th and Minnehaha.
