Property sooo much better with new Manager Saleen!!!

They refuse to install cameras in the parking lots, my boyfriends car was vandalized in the private lot of Poplar Bridge Apartments (all 4 tires slashed) and they have not returned our calls or taken any action. Highland is the management agency that owns Poplar Bridge and is in charge of security and they have done nothing about this.Only giving 2 stars because Kathleen at Poplar Bridge is wonderful and took our concerns very seriously, unfortunately she doesnt have the power to upgrade security in the building.

I moved into one of there properties a month ago. Brittany is fantastic to work with she explains everything and answers all your questions. I had one apartment here that I did not like after signing a lease for a year. I didn’t see this apartment until I was ready to move in ( always ask to the apartment your renting) that was the only bad thing. Brittany made good on our deal an found me a different one. So far I like my place very. Thanks Brittany your wonderful !!!!!’ PS. Kenny responded quickly to my maintenance repair he did a great job!

Our manager Tracy is a godsend here at 2920 Dean Pkwy. She always responds and is so friendly and helpful: she feels like your neighbor more than a manager.

Hampshire House has a great manager!!! He is on top of everything. He even started a community garden which has been so fun!! He is on top of anything that needs fixing, very easy to get a hold of and a super nice person!!! We have been very grateful for everything he does!

I love the new property manager seleen wells at my residence at richland court she is very much better then last people we had she take care all of our complaints serious and get right on your stuff and she always checking on us and see how she can help us with anything I thank her for being respectful

If you want mice and roaches in your apartment than Fountainhead Apartments are perfect for you! Not enough parking, clearly not maintained well and staff that does not care.

Scams. Stay away from this Company.I applied one of their Apartment occupied at the time . They would not let me see the apart. Once i saw the unit I didnt like it and Changed my mind and no sign the lease. but they refused to give me back my Deposit $500 + $120 Application Fees.ScamsI Just lost $620 in one week for nothingSCAMS, SCAM

Even if you are on time with your rent, these people still claim you are late! I submitted my rent every month on or -before the 1st yet they lie and say I am late!The lease states that you have until the 4th of the month to submit your rent. I called and left a message lets see if I hear back. I signed a six month lease and Im getting out of here real quick! Renters beware!!!!!

I called them several times through email and phone (leaving a message each time), but they bothered to contact me back only once; only to promptly stop answering me all together after I replied with various questions asking about the lease. I spoke politely, and asked some reasonable questions; and yet, they didnt care; and thats when I understood: They dont need my business or my money, because they only cater to nobles, but not Little Ol Me. I dont know these people personally, but Im sure the their services are the best in town; however, only the nobles can live in their properties and not normal town folks.

Highland is a wonderful management company, the management is very kind and helpful with every issue that needs attention, they do their best to help site managers, and residents out. Ive lived at one of highlands properties for quite some time, and recently started working for the company and from what I see they have many great properties in convient areas, and good school districts. I would recommend people to live and or work for the company they are great!!! 👍

I was looking for a 3 bedroom apartment, i toured multiple places in which were all great locations and pet friendly. Found one i loved and been with that building since 2014, upper mamangement is accommodating and reasonable. I would recommend highland to friends and family.

In less than 24 hours after submitting my rental application I changed my mind about living here and they kept my $500 deposit. Their property management team is heartless. I do not recommend doing business with Highland on the Park or the Highland Management Group.

Have increased rent during the pandemic

Wish Id read the reviews before I rented at one of their properties. After a dispute with their building manager over a health and safety issue lead to us breaking our lease, these people refused to give me any kind of break. Usually landlords are only looking to get paid for any month they go without a tenant, which is completely fair and I was totally willing to pay for. But these people wanted DOUBLE their money for me to leave. Completely outrageous.Buyer beware, read the reviews, stay away; I know I wish I had.

My very first apartment was at one of their Bloomington locations where I also worked for them, as my family grew and my apartment needs changed I did end up moving and no longer working for their company, once we were looking to rent again we only considered Highlands properties and because of how well they treat both their residents and employees I made the choice to change careers and become part of their team again. I have and will continue to recommend Highland Management for both residency and employment.

Great people, excellent management, and best of all it is locally owned and operated! We love HMG

I live at one of the Edina properties for many years I love the staff and the community theyre very fair and equal and very diverse. If youre looking for a great place to live go with Highland.

If I could give this company less than one star I would, the most unprofessional incompetent management company I have ever dealt with . So many unnecessary mistakes on their part . They should be ashamed and honestly replaced with all new people including those in corporate positions. Do not even attempt to rent from here

The office people are rude and racist .you can tell the lady doesnt like people who she thinks dont look like her .very unprofessional and disrespectful .

I am looking for a one bedroom and called a few different places and everyone I spoke to seem to be very nice knowledgeable and willing to help.

HighLandApts people are very much interested in putting charges to collect extra money but not on customer needs fulfillment. Guys be aware while paying rent. Even you are ready to pay rent on time they want to charge 8% extra (suposse 11004 rent, around 87$ penalty). OMG! Not satisfied in this scenario.

This is for the manager at the Southpointe apartments. My apartment flooded and right away the manager Cynthia responded. She got maintenance crew right on seeing what the cause of the flooding, the clean-up, and she offered me an apartment not on the lower level, which I looked into. My hats off to the manager here she care about her tenants. I rate her 10🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Worst experience ever. My lease was ending on 30th September. I had opted to continue ahead for another 6 months. But on 18th sept I got my visa rejected due to which i had to leave united states. Highland management charged me $2400 fine when they could have just asked for application processing fees($100). I had paid heavy lease breakage fees for the lease term which i had not even started.

I have been living here for years. Love the porfessionalism of this company.

No problem with the in building maintenance people but the worst management group Ive ever dealt with. they only care about money and could care less about your well being, stolen items, improvements to the property, and tenant safety. they WILL raise your rent dramatically, they WILL NOT take your side on any dispute/problem and will charge you for anything. look up highland management group and youll find theyve been sued for being racist when it comes to choosing tenants. if you can take anything away from my experience, dont give money to soulless jerks who only care about your money and could careless about you or the apartments they manage.

Very Bad experienceI filed an application for a move in for 2/18 with one week notice and paid a security deposit too.They were not able to provide me the move in on 2/18 and still forefeited the deposit of $300. I was told its my fault that application is still not approved.So, if you application takes more time to process and get approved, and they are not able to give you by move-in by requested date, they will still forefeit the deposit even though you were ready to move-in on that date.So, try to avoid living here or at least get facts straight even if you need to spend 4-5 hrs with the agent to get into details of each and very point while filling the application and discuss each item in detail and ask them to explain each and every item.I had the worst experience in 7 years and will certainly recommend you to stay away from the Highland management group - and specially the Lexington Apartments and Townhomes property which is not professionally run.They are just after your money and do not explain things properly.

Highland/Fountainhead just plain stinks. The office girls are good women but the rest of the staff is rude and lazy. Very rude skinny white man that does maintenance is very rude and the girl who walks and does cleaning...she has an entitlement issue. Other residences besides myself have watched those two be grabbing each other. In my country that would be rude in public. Unprofessional. My lease is up soon...I will be spreading this to my friends.

More money hungry than the agencies I rented from in Dinkytown. Charged me a $100 late fee when my rent was 12 hours past due because I had a problem with my internet and they charge you a fee if you dont pay online, oh and they make you use Xfinity/Comcast for your internet provider (the irony). Go talk to the front desk and see if theres anything that can be done since Ive always paid on time, nope, sorry. Its sad because I actually like the apartment but I dont feel like a valued tenant whatsoever, just another source of income for the slumlord.

Fountainhead Apartment Complex owned by Highland Management in Richfield is terrible & horrible. This apartment complex is very old. Management is horrible.Rent is too high for the crap services they provide. Just a rip off of peoples money. They do not follow any apartment rules or standards.Stinking apartment. Carpets & Bathrooms are horrible.

I lived on Smetana for three years with my dog and girlfiend and the managment is lazy! They do not allow dogs anymore due to the large Samalian community that squats there and hates dogs. They charge you ridiculous fees when you move out which I am currently going to court to fight. I wish someone would have told me what im telling you- Run!!

Had an appointment scheduled to see a location in Bloomington and they never showed up or called to let me know no one would be there. Made an appt 3 days ahead of time. Wasted my time and were inconsiderate and disrespectful.

I would not be leaving here if it wasnt for Britney she is awesome and cares about her residents.

These people are by far the most mean spirited, lying, vindictive, uncaring, unprofessional management group I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and run like hell!

Had a question that my site manager could not answer and was referred to Tina who was helpful and answered my questions!
