Great rental experience thus far. The unit is really nice and Kenya and Brennon went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Cant beat the location and the price is better than most of the comparable buildings in the neighborhood.
The apartment was awesome and I loved the location. The management is the issue. They are slow to respond and never answer the phone. It takes days for them to get back to you and charge you for unnecessary items. I was charged multiple fees for not setting up my electric/gas when it was not clarified ANYWHERE that I was required to do so. They fought me on every penny. On top of that, when moving out I provided my forwarding address which they claimed I never sent and took months to send me my security deposit WHICH they mailed to the address I had in the same unit.... which I moved out of..... On top of that - they never sent my CRP until requested, even after the required January 31st deadline. Claiming again that I never sent a forwarding address even though the form is a PDF and can be emailed. Building is cool but not worth it for the poor management.
I had been looking for apartments all day and called the company late on a Friday(5pm). Somaly, went the extra mile and met me at the apartment at 5:30 after her office closed. She was responsive and helpful. A great start to a renting relationship with this company. Thanks Somaly!!
I love everything about the apartment and the location, but sometimes service responsiveness is frustrating.
Moved here a few months ago and I have been enjoying my apartment and the uptown area. Lots of stuff to do and I can walk anywhere. There is some construction going on but its not too bad.
When we initially moved into the building, it was quiet, very clean and the staff helpful and available during regular daytime hours. Fast forward 6 months, Construction is going on next door everyday 7am-4pm (before we signed the lease we were told construction wouldnt start for another year), decrease on staff, neighbors have changed to loud tenants and building is only cleaned once per week. New ownership in past 4 months, not impressed.
Like any other residence, there are pros and cons. 3021 Holmes Ave. had many changes in management throughout the year which has made communication and building trust/relationships with staff a bit difficult and skeptical. However I gave a 5-star rating for value and staff mainly because of how great Vitor Rodrigues has been in his level of communication, effectiveness in executing/resolving concerns, and level of professionalism while being friendly/welcoming of residents. He doesn’t give you the run-around when you want to address a problem, he’s always staying busy working while observing the needs of the residence, and he always has a friendly smile and attitude that will make your day a little brighter after a long day of work! His work ethics and customer service has really helped changed the culture for the better!Additionally, the location is awesome! The grocery store, gym, lakes, bars, restaurants are all within walking distance!A few things the place can improve on is the cleanliness of the garage, more reliable office hours, making sure packages left outside go into the office (even if the carrier made the mistake not to check it in).Overall, it has been a great experience here!
We moved into this building because we were drawn to the friendly staff who lived onsite and seemed personally invested in things running smoothly. Unfortunately, things changed almost immediately after we moved in. New management replaced all of the staff with a rotating cast of do-nothing part time employees who were rude, slow to respond to maintenance requests and uninterested in the buildings livability. Over the course of our living there many longtime tenants moved out and were replaced by partying younger tenants who treated it like a frat house - the hallways started to stink of weed and wed occasionally find vomit. We would need to follow up repeatedly for maintenance in our own unit, and basic building repairs also took weeks (for example, the door into the garage was broken for more than a month). We were all too happy to move out - the units are shiny and well updated but its not worth the trouble of actually living there.EDIT: Followed up with management per their response below 20 minutes after the comment was posted offering to clarify any questions they had about this review; no response to date.
I’m glad I read the reviews I will not be moving here.
Terrible experience after the staffing change as of 2018- absolutely would not recommend the hassle
Great company
