Moved here in May 2018 from Wisconsin with all my stuff packed up because I was starting my new job within 2 days of moving in and so I basically came up here without seeing any other apartments. I love Laura, the property manager. Shes been amazingly helpful when I lost said job I moved up here for. I honestly think shes a great human being. I live in the back building out of the 2 buildings on the property and on the 3rd floor. Please realize that you are potentially moving into an old complex so there is no elevator. However, I have an 88 pound dog, Jake, and their pet deposit and pet rent is by far some of the cheapest in Coon Rapids. The building is secure, no mice, its kept up relatively frequently as well as the grounds. The maintenance guy can take some time getting used to but work orders are done within a day or two - August my fridge went and they had to order one but they let me use a fridge of a vacant apartment, so even though I needed to walk a few doors down the hallway, most my food didnt go bad and as a person who had been unemployed already for a month and wouldnt be starting her new job for another 4 weeks, that was supremely helpful. My new fridge was installed and I love it so far! The dishwasher in my apartment works great. My only issue was with the garbage disposal - it did encounter a cracked housing and they are starting to not replace them in the buildings but maintenance did slather silicone all over it as a temporary remedy and so far that has worked for the past 6 weeks. Overall, for the price, its decent and Id say if youre looking for a safe place and friendly staff, this is a great place. Be warned though, A LOT of weed smokers, so if you can get passed that smell wafting into hallways sometimes, overall its not an issue; however, there is nothing cops can really do, nor do they really want to do anything about because its just weed nowadays. *shrug* Overall, with the exception of 1 or 2 people in my building, Ive developed quite a few friendships or at least friendly encounters. The washer and dryer on my floor work fine so I cant complain too much about that either. I would probably choose this place again if I had to do it all over again given my circumstances.

Lived here about 6 years...Positive- Its tucked away and close to the dam and some trails. Manager is usually immediately helpful when available. Shopping and gyms are close.Negative- Laundry machine breaks down a lot (once a month seems like), parking is overcrowded and the towing company sucks and Manager is RARELY in the office.

Absolutely love this place. Its tucked away from main roads and has that quiet, private laid back feeling. I got an Akitas and the fenced in off leash dog area is a favorite addition to the complex and can get them exercise by walking across the parking lot. I dont know of another complex that has a off leash dog area. They are very pet friendly. They also have a brand new Playground which my autistic son loves put Ivein fall 2018. Great private security at the door & cameras now. Very clean property. Laura the manager is absolutely wonderful. Id highly recommend these apartments.

Just renewed our lease in august, honestly love it here alot. Laura is a doll and I love talking/seeing her in the mornings. shes always been super helpful, my only issue is sometimes the people who live in our building are sketchy and rude. But I understand its not the LLs fault for that. would 100% recommend to my friends to live / rent here. I would also love if maybe in the future there wasent a breed ban for what kind of dogs you can have. I love pitbulls and hate to see them labeled as a bad breed

The worst caretaker/management ever. lived there for 3 years with black mold growing and spreading throughout my bathroom. all they did was come clean it with bleach and paint over not even a week later the mold was back, and spread. my family was constantly sick up until we moved out. this is the slummiest place ever, I wouldnt recommend anyone to live here, not even my worst enemy. they make the place look great, but pictures are very deceiving. I had to break my lease. then they want to charge me over a grand for the carpet that had been there for at least a year before we moved in and it had cigarette burns throughout, we were there for 3 years. worst place ever.

Live on the 3rd floor and have for about 3 yrs. Laundry card machine breaks constantly and management does nothing to help. Grounds look terrible and neighbors are loud and noisy. A terrible place to live and obviously Steven-Scott is a TERRIBLE company
