After being bounced around through out the 2 years I was going to this nail salon, I ended up with Lynne whom I had a bad experience with once. I thought I’d give her another chance well I tried her twice. She treated me terrible. She scolded me for not calling to cancel and appointment of which I did call and left a message. I work in the industry and would never just not show up or call. Then she degraded me and insulted my stained nails . Well yes I’m a hairstylist I do color it happens. I said sorry . Then she kept answering her phone for personal things. Finally as she was doing my nails she let me know I shouldn’t go so long because she had to fix things and charge more.. none of my nails were broken they just needed files down which I do every time. No one ever charged me extra not even the owner. All this was delivered in a rude manner. She was just honestly mean!

My pedicures were wonderful. I went in to get a gel manicure and it was not with my regular person. It looked great but 2 days later, the colitis wore off and a gold color showed through. It looked horrible. It then peeled off. Not going back.

I have gone to angel nails for years and absolutely love the salon. Jade has always done my nails, she is so kind and always does a amazing job. The environment is super clean and relaxing. Love this salon, it’s the best!!

Excellent service. My husband and I both got pedicures, but mine was a gel pedicure. Appointments are necessary because theyre not allowing walk-ins. I definitely intend to return to Angel Nails.

Nancy has been my nail tech for over a period of time and I appreciate the service that she has provided however I have been feeling that the salon is on a fixed schedule and I feel that I’m rushed for the next customer and that no way to feel when your paying for service.Not only that if your a few minutes late they can’t accommodate you but for on e service .This is not the first occurrence of this happening so it better I go somewhelse to be accommodated then to add to it the gentleman have a apology and I look down at my feet and it looks like a real sh job.His excuse was that they where under staffed and I told him it wasn’t my first experience at feeling this way and that I won’t be back, he brushed it off without a care or concern so this clearly lets you know that it more about how many clients a day and not a care of customer service .I was late however I wasn’t 30 minutes late I was 15 minutes late you can’t provide full service .You push your customers out quickly for the next appt.Money over customer service

When I moved out Delaware with a new start I was recommended to go to this place knowing to be the best nail salon in Delaware the first time I went I loved my nails, feet & technician I was very satisfied so I continued going to this place and every technician I had went to up until that point was very respectful and nice up until my last appointment that happened today i booked my first appointment with Daniela Lopez she does her own bookings in order for me to make an appointment with her I had to make an appointment through text messages on social media which I feel really isn’t the best form of communication for trying to make an appointment but I gave it a shot anyway booked my appointment with her a month in advance and this conversation took two days just to be booked because of communicating through text messages unprofessional but whatever during our conversation through the texts the only thing she asked of me was my name and gave me a time and date that was it she never asked what I was having done or anything I get to my appointment today 10 minutes late which I called in advanced and asked the receptionist if it would be okay or if she just wanted me to reschedule she told me it was fine and to still come in I come in my technician Daniela still has a customer in her seat doing her nails so I had to wait another 10 minutes because she wasn’t finished which wasn’t a problem considering we both was obviously running behind schedule for the day when I got to her chair she asked me what I would like to have done I told her I was having a full set done which I was always having done she just never asked when she booked my appointment after I told her what I was having done she told me instantly she don’t have time for that she only have time for a refill for gel that’s not what I wanted or asked for so I told her never mind and explained to her that it was a miscommunication on her part while booking my appointment because she never asked me what I wanted to have done she just assumed she never apologized for the inconvenience or tried to do anything to fix the problem she just let a customer leave unsatisfied and left for lunch and when I told the manager about the issue she was rude as well her name was Veronica she told me I was 30 minutes late to my appointment which wasn’t true at all and when i arrived the 10 minutes late she still had a customer in her seat and I had to wait another 10 minutes totaling 20 minutes of Daniela really running behind her own schedule so her not having time to do what i wanted was bs and for starters she didn’t know what I was having done anyway so nothing she said about being late and not having time made sense at all with that being said i notice in the reviews they said that somebody else was 30 minutes late to their appointment which is ridiculous i’ve been to a lot of nail salons and just salons in general that if a customer is running that late they need to be rescheduled but they’ll say anything to try to make their service look good my only issue with all of this is the lack of inconsideration for time, the unprofessionalism, them lying about me being that late to my appointment & the fact that they did nothing to fix the issue just concerned on being right I will never spend money here ever again just from this situation

We go here every other Friday it’s an ongoing date me my sister my friend my mom and my daughters. There are 4 girls specifically that I can say are amazing. Q, Lilly, Natalie, and Daniella. They take care of us. You will most likely need an appointment for them though.

For starters I called and gave the reception lady exactly what I wanted done and had 4 things prices at $110. When I got there she said she didn’t price that however I recorded the conversation for exactly this reason but I wasn’t going to give her a hard time. But they should at least have the receptionist knowledgeable about nails and pricing to prevent this exact thing from happening. It was aggravating and I honestly didn’t even want to finish the service after that but I decided to anyways considering I used to love this salon. It is also just not worth the money. They charge for everything. Shape and size is understandable but to charge for a different tip when I am getting no design I never had that problem before. For it to be as pricy as it is and me still paying it without getting anything I originally planned on (since I was priced wrong from the beginning) I at least thought it would be worth it. My toe shape isn’t even nor does it even look appealing. Some of my nails have an apex and some are flat or dented. Going here you realize the difference in a nail tech and just going to a person in a salon. If you’re big on nails like I am don’t do it. If you like basic then it’s okay. Overpriced for the quality of work I received. I’m not sure if it’s just one person or all. I wish I could get a refund but it is my fault because I let them continue due to the fact I didn’t want any confrontation. I take responsibility but again from the wrong pricing it was a red flag.Update: I’m definitely getting my feet redone. Looking at them in outside lighting the shape is so off, uneven, and crooked .

Veryyyyyyyyy expensive. Pedicure and acrylic overlay ran me over $100 - mind you, 2 steps for my pedicure was skipped. Very nice staff but I just cant see myself paying this amount for basic nails, nothing spectacular at all. Ive had much better for less. Given that I was treating my mom (so yes I paid over $100 per person, making my total approx $210) and was in desperate need to get my nails done...I paid the price. Wont be back though. I will also note they are very clean too which I liked so if you dont mind the price tag, this is a place you can go to.

First gel manicure in 3 months! My nail tech didnt bother to try to get all my nails to the same length even though I asked her to. She spent a lot of time polishing my nails but I noticed later that more than 1 nail had a spotty application of top coat. My gel nails started to peel off after 2 weeks. Ive NEVER had that happen before. Ill NEVER be back.

My experience at Angel Nails is also one of delight and relaxation. Have been going there since Tony and Dawn opened it. They are truly for their customers,down to earth, caring people (not just business owners) and it shows in their clientele. And as for my nail tech Nancy, I just absolutely love her. DONT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE!Me and my sister went to get our brows waxed this last weekend. The ladies doing the waxing were not paying attention and the one lady even answered a phone call in the middle of doing my sisters eyebrows while the hot wax was sitting on her face. Extremely unprofessional and not focused on our appointment at all. Even though it only took 5 minutes to finish both of us she couldnt wait to answer the phone. Now we both have scabs under our eye brows from getting the skin peeled off. We will never be going back for our brows again.

I’ve been going to Angel Nails for a few months now. I normally don’t treat myself or get my nails because I own a cleaning company thus my hands are always in water. However, after the first visit with Q, I’ve made it my business to go back every 2 weeks or as needed because she does such a good job. She’s very polite, kind, and very personable. I make appointments and don’t have to wait which I like. The environment is always pleasant and everyone always has a smile and is professional. I’ve been to a few other places in Middletown and highly recommend Angel Nails, hands down over the rest.

They always give an amazing pedicure. They always pay special care and dont rush. I got a gel manicure with Nancy and she did an amazing job and did exactly what I asked. Nancy is the best nail girl I have ever had. Very efficient,nice,alwaya smiling and polite.y nails always look good and the way she applies the gel is perfect. Nancy is a perfectionist and I love it! Their staff is friendly and what I love about this place is that you can walk in! Definitely highly recommended I won’t go anywhere else.

They did my nails so good. they have a great selection of colors, lot of staff working, very nice and talkative, and a very clean place. the only thing is it took my nails 2hours to get done but the pricing wasn’t so bad.

They do the best job with gel polish. Huge selection. Stay open until 7pm on Friday but always busy so get in early. Highly recommend Nancy!!

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. I used to get my nails done here and asked for them to do my eyebrows one day and she took an entire layer of skin off under my eyebrow! I had red under my eyebrows for at least a week. A couple months later I decided to try again and give them the benefit of the doubt, this time I ended up with a hole in my eyebrow I had to fill in with a pencil for months. Now I go across town where they do great nails and dont destroy my brows when I ask for a touch up

Have been going to Angel Nails for years! The best nail shop around. Tony, the owner, is awesome! I used to only go to him for my appointments, but honestly, everyone there does very well. The rest of the staff are very personable. Mostly everyone lives in the area so you really get a sense of community and not just another business in town.

I started coming here from the recommendation of my daughter ( who has been going since her 9th grade formal, 16 years ago maybe). They are the best around. Once a month we get our nails done, by Tru and E and it’s always super pleasant! The staff is always welcoming, friendly, talks to you like they’ve known you forever!! My daughter drives fromClayton to get her nails done by them, and has driven from south Dover. No one will ever touch our nails, but angel! Ps the owners dawn and tony are just amazing people!

I used to love this place, but I cant come here anymore, Ive got rude comments about me, that I brushed off as me being sensitive and I tried giving it another chance but today was the breaking point. I asked for a $6 color change, I said it at least 5 times during my visit that I wanted just a color change. I never said the word manicure, I never agreed to a manicure and then was charged $33 for a manicure. They just gave me whatever service they felt like and charged me for it. I love Natalie, but I cant even go back for her anymore if this is how this business is going to operate.

This is the best nail salon in this area. It is always clean and very pretty and the prices are very reasonable. Every technician has been fantastic for nails and waxing (although I do love my E and Linh the best!). I would give more stars if I could!

If I could give less I would. My daughter (5) and I wanted a nice day with just the 2 of us. I have been there numerous times and figured it would be okay. They completely overcharged me and ruined that day for us. We got Gel and as I know its a little more pricey but it lasts longer which is great for a toddler. They charged her nails and pedicure as an adult. And now they are peeling right off after her bath. Im infuriated. They originally tried to charge me $155 but marked it down to $140. I will not be returning and continue to turn my family and friends away.

Beyond disgusted! I had to wait over an hour. Wasnt even talked to about how long I would be, when I was up next. The receptionist crossed my name off the list without even speaking to me. Scheduling was all over the place. Definitely not worth all the waiting around. I waked out! Went to another salon got seated right away. Beyond ridiculous.

Got eyebrows done and a full set of gel nails! For $53! The staff was amazing 😉 for nails I definitely recommend Kent and lily for brows!

I got my nails done here. They charged for the shape of the nail on a full set. Since having them done, one nail has completly fallen off, and 2 others are lifting. Safe to say I wont be coming back to this place.

I don’t have sensitive skin and I’ve never had a problem getting them done other places, but this was absolutely terrible. It was very painful and now my eyebrows have no skin around them and are very red and puffy. Will defiantly go somewhere else next time. However, they do give great manicures, just the eyebrows were not a go.

I just recently got a full set manicure at this salon and my experience was horrific. I wasnt given a name for the lady who did my nails but she was terrible. She rushed me. Threw my arms and hands around. Answered a phone call while she was doing my nails. She seemed as if she didnt even wanna touch my hands at the speed she was moving and how she communicated. She couldnt even do what I wanted her to do with my nails. She made me pay before she even put polish on them I assume because she wanted to leave quickly. But I am highly displeased better yet disgusted with the service I got and the job she did on my nails. I wont be coming back and I must admit the other nail technicians were very friendly and kind but I suggest that if you come here, be cautious.

This is the place that did a piss-poor job on both me and my sister about two months ago. Didnt realize it was the same place until I was told $54 for ManiPediBrow. I walked out. I believe that a business has every right to charge how much they want. Just make sure the service matches the cost or better.

Anthony was phenomenal...he is very professional and makes every client feel as if he truly cares about the health of their nails. The atmosphere was warm inviting and everyone was friendly. I paid for my daughter and I to have pedicures. Mine was done by a very nice Asian young lady and my daughters was done by a very nasty Asian man. He made several unnecessary comments about her feet and her nails. But the young lady that was doing my feet was polite and try to make my daughter feel better after being insulted by that gentleman. When we were finished I gave the young lady a very nice tip but did not take the gentleman. Also the man at the front desk appeared as if I was walking into a prison not a salon he was very Stern and unprofessional. They should consider working on their customer service and trying to make the customers feel welcome.

I was hesitant to write this but I walked in on 9/13 with a $50 GC from my son and had a really good pedicure. I asked him for a gel pedi and picked what I thought was a gel polish even sitting under the gel light. My pedi cost $55 which I thought was a lot but ok it’s gel my normal spot cost $40 with gel but hey I had a GC. I went to my normal pedi place down the street for another pedi this week to find out it wasn’t even gel polish on my toes. It came right off. Very disappointing and feel like my sons hard earned money was wasted and I was taken advantage of. So I paid $55 for a regular pedicure. Thanks not ok.

I visited this location with my fiance and my future niece on a Saturday afternoon. The traffic of customers was steady and upon entry my fiance, niece and I were cheerfully greeted.To my surprise and delight a majority of the TVs had college football games playing on them. While I found this just a slight bit odd considering their clientele, a majority of women, it made me feel less bored than I would have been otherwise.Although Ive taken my fiance to many nail salons over the years in Washington state and in the Wilmington-Delaware, Philadelphia, PA., and South Jersey area, I have to admit ... if I were having my nails done, this is the place Id choose. Although I personally did not experience the service of their staff I did witness how personal-able they are to their repeat customers.My fiance liked her mani-pedi! I LOVED IT! Her toes and fingernails were very sexy.Why only 3 stars you might ask? Because the smell of the chemicals is nearly overpowering.

Went in for a nail repair. Was seated after a 15 minute wait only to be told they made a mistake because someone was before me. So I sat and waited another 30 before leaving. My daughter got her nails painted though. I paid $6 for a very sloppy mediocre job. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend

I have been to angle nails 3 times. First time gel manicure and pedicure. all was fine.second visit Rosa cut my cuticles and accidentially cut my skin leaving bleeding areas on 4 nails which scabbed over. Last visit the same. Yes the solution 10 ten minutes hurts and causes the skin around the nails to peel away after a few days. The gel is not for me or getting my skin cut along with cuticles.Therefore, I cannot recommend gel manicures, Rosa, but everyone was very nice. Will look for a new place to go.

Ive never written a review before, but had to for this. I have never gone to a nail salon with such poor skills. I got the gel manicure and after I had left and inspected my nails, I could see visible brush strokes and it was very patchy and uneven. I dont understand how a technician with such poor skills could be working and charging $50 for a job like that. You would think an establishment who put so much care into their image would have higher standards for their employees. The employees also seem to be very confused by the scheduling system and were confused about which customers were which, whispering peoples names repeatedly to each other. Overall just not a pleasant experience.

Lots of people working at this place to provide a good service which is great. Even if you dont have an appt the waiting time for a walk in is very short or non existant unless it is a busy day usually before a big date like valentines or mothers day, u know what I mean. Lilly for me is one of the best! There are others as well but havent tried them all yet! Highly recomended. :)

I loved this place, i really did. ken was my BABY!!!! but he messed up my set i got yesterday so badly. my thumbs & pinkies are beyond uneven, it’s ridiculous. not to mention i was charged 43 dollars for nails that weren’t even long, because i know there is a longer nail fee.fast forward to today, i went back to get them fixed however instead of being treated as a priority & getting them fixed RIGHT AWAY, i had to wait 30 minutes before being told it’d be another 10. ridiculous. i have been coming here for years but never again, finding a new salon asap.

Made an appointment and waited over a 1/2 hour, asked how much longer and she said just a few more mins. About 10 mins. later I called Les nails down the street for availability. They said no wait so I was there 6 mins later and they were true to their word and did an excellent job. Im new to the area so it was my first time visiting both salons. Angel nails Ill never be back, they just seem like they are all about the $$ and not interested in regular clients. Les nails Ill definitely be back.
