Karley did my nails for my wedding last month. She did a full set and a pedicure. They looked amazing!! She really took her time, paid close attention to detail and made sure I looked great for my big day. Couldn’t have asked for a better nail tech! Plus she’s a funny, sweet lady so the conversation was great! :) Highly recommend her for all your nail needs!!

Alyssa was great. She finished her client up that was scheduled before me a little early so I was called to see if I wanted to move my appointment up. She really listened to what I wanted and continued to ask questions throughout the process. She involved me in making decisions about some of the highlight placement, the toner color and then was so thorough about the layers and making sure it was how I wanted it. She was great.

These ladies are wonderful! Every single one of them is so welcoming and knowledgeable about the products. Any issue you have, theyll fix it. Youre treated just like one of the family and youll leave there with such happiness!

I moved to Monroe a couple of months ago and needed to find a new nail salon. Im so glad I tried Shear Kaos first. Carly does an amazing job! Im pretty ocd when it comes to manicures, but she nails it every single time. It can be tough to get an appointment, but its well worth the wait. I usually book my appointments out for a couple of months to make sure I can get in. Hands down, the best place for nails around.

Ive gone to Shear Kaos Salon for a few years and always have a great experience. I went from a high end salon for a long time, but moved and decided to try Big League and a few other places before going to Shear Kaos. Turn over was insane at the other places, so I never knew what kind of cut I would get.Shear Kaos is reliable and provides excellent service for a fair price. I highly recommend them!

Shear Kaos? More like PURE KAOS! The owner should really consider who they employ. I cant say much about the other women who work their but I can say that Shelby Smith is very unprofessional. She will never be allowed to work on my hair nor my friends and family! People please do your research before you let someone touch your hair!!! Lesson learned!!!!

Excellent small, locally-owned salon! I have been a customer since before Erica became the owner and have enjoyed what she has turned it into! I originally began as Ericas client until Larissa stole me away a couple years ago. I have had changed my hair style many times since going and they have always been more than accommodating. Cuts are always great, color is stellar when I pick the right ones (not their fault Im a moron). Even if the salon visit is lengthy its enjoyable.Ive also taken my daughter since she was about 18 months and tho thats not their specialty, its always been a great experience!I will continue to go here until they kick me out!

Went for cut and high lite/low lite. I have always had longer hair mid back or just above. She marked on my back where my hair would be after removing dead ends which was a few inches above top of bra line. Several inches below shoulders. When she got done immediately curled before I saw length so I thought was so short from curls(explains why didnt see before curled she knew cut my hair way to short). My hair is shorter than I have EVER had it. It barely, if straightened touches my shoulders. My kids all freaked. My daughter who did not want to hurt my feelings cried. Because my hair so short it not only aged me 10yrs but made me look heavier. NO ONE liked my cut and my roots are brassy and orangish (which I said to her she said only because wet). My bangs which I mentioned several times had to be trimmed and sculpted were not done so look just as bad as when I went in. Everyone wanted to know where I got butchered so they would know where NOT to go. I spent$180 at this salon with color, cut, grandsons cut, and shampoo and conditioner. WORST spent money ever I cry every time I look in mirror. AVOID this place which is a shame as my grandson had good cut but not worth risk.

They took care of me girlfriends hair. Took some doing but they worked it out thank you for being professinoal about it.

Ive been having Shelby cut my hair for 2 years now. I have really long hair, but she always does great job. Even though I only get my hair trimmed every few months she remembers our conversation from each visit.

Decided to go here because my hairstylist that I usually go to was not available. Received a haircut and dye that I was not satisfied with. Called and spoke with owner, who said she would void the transaction. However, I never received my money back. Would not recommend this place because owner is not true to word, on top of receiving an unsatisfactory haircut.

Myself and my best friend made an appointment a week in advance, we asked for two people so we could get our hair cut at the same time because we had some things to do before a vacation we are going on. We arrive at the salon at 10 am, to be told only one person(Brittany) was doing each of our hair. We were aggravated by it, but let it go, then we were seated because Brittany was late while everyone else was taken back! We made an appointment first thing when they opened, we had other commitments, this is why an appointment was made. Finally at 10:20 my friend was taken back, and at 11:00 I was taken back. We missed our nail appointment at another place and to cancel due to this was very aggravated. My hair looked horrible, I had to go the Supercuts to get it fixed a week later. I got curious as to why my natural curly hair looked horrible, so I staightened it, and found only one layer at the top, it looked like she put a bowl on the top part of my hair, and cut around it! Will not ever visit here again.

Shear kaos has a wonderful atmosphere and quality stylists. I highly recommend going here!
