My mom cuts hair for a living. I go here because of my busy schedule and a consistent quality haircut. They know how I normally get mine done (its noted in the computer) and its easy to make an appointment (online, app, calling and walk-in). I cant meet up with my mom for haircuts anymore (even though she would love to) because of the busy adult schedule, so I tried a few walk in salons. This is my favorite out of Cost Cutters and Great Clips. I dont get anything crazy, just a 1 on the sides and back, blending to finger length on top. No hot towel as I always shower after a haircut but I have tried it once and it is nice. Great place

I have been a Sports Clips patron since it opened in East Peoria, IL.Erin was my stylist and was wonderful. Yesterday 08/11/2020 I returned for a hair cut, last hair cut 03/2020 I met with Carla wonderful personality and Christa was my stylist. My hair was very long Christa asked the usual #2 #4 I replied no lets do something different be creative. Wow what a talent she is amazing. Cut off way more than I asked and one side was longer than the other and had to come back and get it fixed. Not coming back

My brother went to a sports clips and got a great haircut. So, I decided to try it out also and asked the exact same thing he got. I requested a 2 to 3 fade with 3/4 of an inch off the top from the blond stylist. Within 30 seconds she had completely buzzed 80% of my hair with no longer than a 2 guard. She didn’t use a 3 guard like I asked. She didn’t fade anything. And she cut off WAY too much hair. Not only did she buzz the sides and back of my head, she also buzzed the crown of my head. I was left with a tiny patch of hair on the front center of my head. I don’t understand where she got her inspiration from. In no way shape or form is that what I asked for. On top of that, she slicked back my hair with what seemed like glue gel when I clearly had it styled with my bang down when I came in. Worst haircut of my life. I regret tipping.

Do not honor coupon emails from corporate...staff is rude if you try to use a coupon. will not go back

Took my teen here for a haircut. Expensive, did not offer to wash hair, long wait, rude stylist.Went in for a wash and cut, the package I was charged for included wash but none was given or offered. My teen requested a very easy cut, had a photo for reference, nothing fancy at all. The stylist did a poor job, barely even cut any hair off. She actually glared at me during the checkout process, it was odd. I dont get it. My teen was well mannered, I dont understand what the problem could possibly have been. I tipped her anyway but regret it. I havent been to other Sports Clips to compare, but none of the stylists here seem to be very customer service oriented.

Phoebe was awesome! Its quick to sign in there or their app. They save your hair cut preferences for the next time. The cut, shampoo, hot towel, neck massage, vibrating chair to the final touch is worth the $$.

I love the online check in feature. Very accurate with wait time. It’s hit or miss if you will get a good haircut depending on who is working. Definitely worth asking for the same hair stylist that you know is good!

As with any new business, you have employees that do a better job than others and it takes time to get it right. Ive been using this place almost since the doors opened. Ive seen stylists come and go. They are better overall today than they were a year ago. Ive gotten great cuts and poor cuts here but its just my hair and it grows back and it doesnt bother me that much. Overall I get in and out, listen and watch a little sports and get a great wash and hot towel. Once in awhile I get a cut too short but like I said, doesnt bother me all that much, this business model matches me better than any other locations which is usually tailored to women.

I was more then angry when I paid 24 $ for my boyfriend to get his hair cut and a shave simply for a new job and a women named Carla who I am sure is a nice person, did not evenly clip the sides of his head, did not line up his hair like he requested and I know for a fact she did not because he came out almost in tears so frustrated because the right side of his lining was thrown back completely and it was not a fixable mistake, so when I called, Carla said she didnt even line it up so it had to be the last person to cut it which cant be cause he hasnt had it cut in almost 6 months and it certainly was thrown back like that before. She also stated they didnt have to tools to line it up which of course if she had mentioned that when he requested it, he would have known better then to let her cut his hair, so here I am, paying even more for someone else to fix his hair and she did not do a damn thing. This isnt my first problem with this place, but its the first place I wasted so much money and my man was devastated. Someone needs to Obviously needs to reevaluate their staff. I wont be going there anymore !

Terrible experience. Stylist must be fresh out of school. Ruined my haircut my last visit and I feel like every time before they missed a spot or didnt exactly get what I wanted Ive had one good visit out of the 6 times Ive went. Wouldnt recommend to anyone! Very nice people but the need to learn their profession alittle better.

We love taking the guys to SportsClips. My son is 18 months and has had 2 cuts there. Both times they did an awesome job!

My Mr went there, he says hes a hard customer to please and he had no complaint and left satisfied! For a quick haircut and great customer service he would recommend!!!

I got my hair cut there two days ago and I was very happy with the hair cut and service!

The lady who took me was mad I came in late, and then gave me an awful haircut that I had to deal with for weeks. I specifically told them not to cut it too short and she cuts a rediculous amount off. Then she cuts half of my bangs off and leaves the other half long. Manager didnt seem to care at all whatsoever. NEVER GO HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I feel like 1 star is really harsh so Ill give them 2 because the place is clean. Every time I go in Im told 10-15 or 15-20 minutes to wait no matter how much time I am actually waiting. Today it was over 30. Irritating...get a clock or sign that is in the door that says its gonna be a while!

I’ve been to many Sport Clips. As early as 2006 in Ocean Side CA. I always had a wonderful experience. Today was my first visit to the location in EP. I’ll never go back, I felt uncomfortable and the conversation was dry. I kept trying but the personal was not wanting to be there. The girl next to me keep yawning and it was gross. I won’t be back and don’t recommend anyone going. Maybe I’ll try the one in Pekin....but I don’t live in Pekin.

Not sure who cut my hair, but it seems like this is her first time cutting hair. Told her dont take any off the top, she cuts half of it off leaving a weird ass line. Told her to start at a 0 and work up to a 4 to the part line, went 0 to 1 and said good enough. Gouged the back of my neck with a pair of clippers. Never going to another sport clips again.

So we have been to Sports Clips in Pekin and always had a great experience. We were in a rush with my sons graduation being the following day so we swung into the one in E. Peoria. I called Pekin to get info on the way they cut my sons hair (the one in e peoria did not have his info in their system) We (my 13yr old son & I) explained EXACTLY what to do including trimming front just above eyebrows.His hair was cut sooo short. Maybe a half inch sticking off from his forehead. She buzzed back instead of fading it like we BOTH explained. To top it off...instead of being apologetic(which maybe then I could have been put more at ease) she decides to try to blame my son (ok he didnt have the scissors in his hand) and then said well maybe you should have shown me a picture. I am sorry...its not rocket science....you work at a place that cut ONLY MENS hair....his cut was NOT difficult and the people in pekin cut it each and every time (and other hair places) just fine. I then got online and read the reviews and told Asst. Manager you know youhave bad reviews and she was like oh where do you see those?!? As any type of manager you should be on top of your reviews...thanks for making my son HATE his hair before his graduation (and NO they are not wearing hats at graduation)
