Management is horrible, they never answer calls or respond to voicemails. There’s so many roaches no matter how clean you try to have your house. New mangers are rude. Listen to other reviews and don’t waste your time.

Current and HAPPY resident.. been here nearly a year and just re-signed for another year. Brittany and the other office girls r great! Maintenance r personable and caring. Full size washer/dryers which I love! Both bedrooms r masters with their own bathrooms. The complex is quiet each night, even on weekends! 1 minute from the 60 and the 101 freeways too! Ive already referred a friend here and would do it again! In regards to the other reviews.. Roaches? Ive never seen one! Not even outside. Also I think I read that someones clothes were stolen from the laundry room here...funny since each apt has its own washer/dryers ..All in all, Im happy to call this place home! ❤️

I moved in in September of 2019. I’ve complained and filed maintenance request for the same issue since my move in date and up to the present; water leaking profusely from my HVAC unit, by no means normal condensation.I’ve notified the manager many times over the last year and up to the present,of the presence of mold in my HVAC unit, vents and ducts.I paid over $100 to have the HVAC unit inspected and tested for mold. Before he even started taking swabs to send to the lab he stated he could See the several different types of toxic mold growing.I’ve paid hundreds over the last 8 months in doctor, allergist and other specialists to confirm that it is indeed mold making me sick and has been.Rather than have the unit inspected and without ever having maintenance look or looking herself, when I notified management that they had 10 days to remedy it or I would withhold rent, management chose to start eviction proceedings. The building across from me by the managers own admission has bubbling/rotting sewer pipes and it’s bad enough that they are unable to keep the units in that building rented, everyone leaves when they find sewer bubbling up in their kitchen sinks!I’m posting pictures of the condition of the structural fixtures around my HVAC unit that have been that way and continue to be in that condition as well as of the mold spores inside. Please do not move your children in here! You are better off camping or going to a shelter if you have no other option because the reality is that you will Most likely pay for it with your health and/or the health of your family.

This is a horrible places to live. It is very obvious that they do not care for the people that live here. And they have a around 5-6 stray cats that live on the property and may damage your vehicle. They refuse to really fix most things you come to them about! Don’t waste your money, there are so many better and cheaper places.

Dont waste your time here. The manager runs this place like Soviet russia. The manager literally tries to tell u how to live. And if u dont listen to her she threatens with eviction. I have a whole in my ceiling from water damage from my upstairs neighbor. since I moved in April of 2019. And still has not been fixed to this day

Staff is fantastic. Miss Jennifer in the office is ALWAYS helpful and cheerful. Maintenance responds to any problems quickly and efficiently.Neighbors can get a little loud but moving directly across the street from MCC (Mesa Community College) will do that... But I never had any negative encounters with any neighbors, maintenance or staff. The only reason Im leaving is my lease ending and I needed to move into a one bedroom but I loved their (Syc. Sq.s) two bedroom layout. You and your perspective roommate each get your own bathroom inside your room with separate doors for ample amounts of privacy.Out of all the place Ive looked, this is TOP TIER!

A couple weeks ago i saw a roach outside my apartment. Kinda freaked me out but i let it go and blamed it on the time of year and the fact that apartment complex feels the need to water the grass a million times a day leaving puddles of water everywhere. But I just woke up to use the restroom in my apartment in the middle of the night, I flip on the light and see a ROACH, a good inch long. It ran and crawled into a crack under the sink. Cant find it to kill it. One roach is enough for me to NEVER renew a lease here. They charge us way too much for there to be roaches in our apartment. Weve only been here 4 months. I am adament that we leave as soon as possible now. Completely disgusted. We are clean people, we have NEVER had a roach issue in our 4 years of apartment renting. Not only have I now found a roach, but let me just add that nobody cleans up their dogs poop around here. The dog park always wreaks because of it. The sprinklers break and flood the surrounding area often. The lights only work half the time at night. To pay rent online with their pay portal it costs an extra $35. Not to mention the neighborhood is a lot more run down than one might think. The mall down the street? Almost every store is closed in it. There are at least 2 strip malls down southern that are completely boarded up and rundown. The only new things in the apartments are the washer and dryer units, maybe the flooring. I could live just fine with it if there was no roach. But now that I know the property has roaches, no way Im staying here much longer.UPDATE: talk about a LAG in getting maintenance measures done. The maintenance crew is nice and personable, but everything gets done at a snails pace. Our A/C stopped working for the 2nd time during our 1 year lease and they connected a portable A/C unit and told me theyd be here in the morning to fix the A/C. Okay... they never show up, we go to the office and ask why and then were told that they dont have the parts and we have to wait for the parts to get here so they should hopefully be able to fix the A/C in 2 more days since the parts are back ordered. Sooo in the meantime, we have to use this cappy portable A/C that LEAKS everywhere and has to run 24 hours a day to keep the apartment at 85 degrees during the day, AND NO COOLER THAN THAT, but we have to pay for aaaaaall the electricity its using. I called the PEM real estate office to file a complaint and ask if there was anything more they could do, but after calling 5 times and nobody answering I had to leave a message. And how much you want to bet that I wont even get a call back? Screw this place. Our lease is FINALLY up next month and were long gone. This is my second time ever renting with PEM and both times have been a freaking disaster.

I used to live here and only lasted 6 months. Apartment was broken into by crack heads and these folks have a HUGE roach issue. And people steal your clothes out the washers and dryers . Smh . #run
