My rent increased from approx $625 to $850 in 4 years. And that price was for a 400 sq ft. Studio apt. A living room/kitchen combo room, a bathroom and a closet. The apt has the appearance of a 1960 motel room. The reason I rented there was of the price & the security. I never got to go inside an apt there until the day I moved in. The carpet should have been replaced before I moved in. It looked like the kitchen was not painted. The granite countertops they boast about are pieces of granite patched together unevenly. My Apt did not have stainless steel appliances & beware, they will charge extra if your apt has them. The studio apartment has 1 window air/heat unit that never shuts off. You also have to pay HOA fees for Fountain of the Sun regardless if you use the facilities. If you can afford to live here, my suggestion would be to check out the Solstice over 55 apartments almost across the street. They are only about $40 more. They are brand new and you can have a bedroom and a wash/dryer in your unit!

I have lived here at Sun Villa for 7+ years now, and love being here! My place is beautiful, and I have met so many new friends since moving to Arizona. We have fun activities and field trips every month...

No matinence for over a month. Pool area unattended. People having to change there own smoke alarms and management not cooperative. Nice community but company not living up to its promises to renters. Have raised rent 6per cent and what we were to get have not been addressed

They lie about the 55+ low income housing... ads states starting $505.00 a month but they start their studio at $729 a month .... they are price gouging seniors....
