We have lived here at Mesa Royale since July 2016. Love it! Its quiet, well taken care of and the management is fabulous! There were a couple things we needed to call maintenance about and Keith was here and the issue was taken care of quickly. He is always friendly and respectful of our time and our home.We would absolutely recommend living here!!
I lived here for six months and I have to say it is very beautiful and has a lot of amenities. However for seniors living on fixed incomes I quickly learned it was not the way to go and broke my lease and moved out and found a better place. Thing I resented the most was having to pay $40 each for my two cats a month! That is ridiculous to have to pay $80 a month more on rent to have pets which are good for seniors and good for Pets. I have now been living for the past two years in an over 55 Small complex for $200 less a month with minimal rent increases. Large companies do not care if they have big turnovers but well-run family owned complexes want to keep their tenants.
Handicap friendly on multiple layers, shopping, restaurants, Doctors and pharmacies within a 1/4 mile not to mention putting greens in the community and Mesa Royale Royale golf course within the same 1/4 mile.
I moved in with my Mother this last month and upsized to a 2 bdm/2 bth. Wonderful apartment with a view of the golf course (luck of the draw). New management is wonderful. Thanks to Brenda and Barbara. Maintenance is a great team Jim and Ignacio...A great place for seniors with plenty of amenities and social events.
When I moved into this apartment complex in June 2012, it was the ideal place for a Senior to live. Management lived there and the landscaping, upkeep, activities and straight forward management with very friendly Senior tenants made it all a very comfortable place. However, after the complex was acquired by the greedy Hamilton Zanze, everything changed. Management lies, cheats and misrepresents to tenants at every opportunity just to increase profitability. They pretend to like Seniors but they do not and even encourage their little clique to put pressure on the Tenants that complain about anything. Here, below is a very recent review by a perceptive potential tenant that figured this out in advance and DID NOT MOVE IN.We didnt move in!On 6/29/2015 we toured Mesa Royale apartments after having done a search of their website. We were interested in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor unit. As it turns out they had one that would be available on 7/11/2015. We liked what we saw and were told that it would be available for $910.00 per month plus an additional cost for our dog of $40 per month and $25 per month for a covered parking spot for a total of $975. We were not told that there would be an additional cost for trash removal, sewer and water. the website also stated that there was no security deposit due on the unit (on approved credit). Imagine our surprise when the very next day I filled out the on-line form only to learn that the rental rate was now $943.00, and that there was a $200.00 security deposit due and that the trash removal/water/sewer fee would be over $30 per month. The $910 rental unit was now nearly $1040! Buyer Beware! Evidently the current management company thinks it is good business practices to deceive vulnerable senior citizens.
This place is an OVERPRICED DUMP! STAFF AND RESIDENTS ALL SNOBS AND ACT LIKE THEY ARE WELL HEELED BUT FAR FROM IT. BOTTOM OF THE BARREL IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY PLACE!
