When I called for my refrigerator it was a bit of waiting involved. But not much they ordered all the parts that came within the next week. The following week they came back put them in. I thought it would be a problem with my freezer because it didn’t have a warranty but it wasn’t. Everything was was just as smooth as the first time with my refrigerator I had them both fixed within a month’s time of each other. Thanks for all your help.

6 times now it has been rescheduled to be fixed at the last minute. The 5th time it was to be fixed the repair person never showed up after i got a message saying he was on his way. 5 hours later he still has not showed up to fix the refrigerator. I call Sears after bout 3 hours of transferring to othe departments gang ups an disconnections i was told that the technician has been out to my house and has removed the old parts and installed the new ones. So my refrigerator work is complete and working work order is closed because it is fixed. Its very hard to replace a condenser, dryer, evaporator, a mother board and refill it with freon when no one shows up to fix it. I have to go through the process of getting a new work order now to had the original problem fixed that was not ever fixed now. All the parts and labor costs were paid up front months ago. Had to pay it that way to be able to order the parts for the refrigerator. The NEW parts are still sitting in the house from when they arrived months ago and now they are telling me that I owe them at least $150.00 for a deductible. No i do not. Have already paid for the service that has not been preformed yet. I have been with out a refrigerator from April 2020 through present day( September 2020 ). A rescheduled appointment is now for September 17th. Not been happy with all the rescheduling of appointments and every time it has been rescheduled I have been told we assure you that this will not happen again. Guess what it has every single time. I have gotten beyond fed up with all the lies that I have been told. The worst one of all is that I was told that I am liying about the refrigerator not being fixed because the technician put in their computer system that he showed up to fix the refrigerator and that he did fix the refrigerator but in fact no one has showed up to fix my refrigerator yet. NOT GOID BUISNESS DOING REPAIRS LIKE THEY SAID THEY ARE AND SAYING THAT THE CUSTOMER IS LIYING . Over 5 months now I have been without a refrigerator from SEARS REPAIR SERVICE. They have not fixed it yet.

Repairman got out of truck told me to turn it on ( HVAC ). I did, he said sounds strong and then he ask me if we were sure we heard something, as he was leaving after doing nothing, he told me that we did not hear a noise. I know what we heard and it will happen again. paid a lot of money on this unit and getting no service.

Repair man said I had to order 2 different parts. To find out nothing wrong just ice built up on the fan. Took the ice off the fan now works perfectly. Cost me 200.00 dollars to take the ice off fan. Plus you cant understand those foreign people that answer the phone to get a repairman. Its a RIP off.......

There is ABSOLUTELY NO EASIER WAY, than Sears extended warranty program to keep all your appliances and electronic equipment protected through the years, WITHOUT breaking your pocketbook! Another GREAT SURPRISE with Sears Extended Warranty Plan is that IT DOESNT have to be purchased at Sears. And also, the longer the warranty protection, the MORE YOU SAVE! As each extra year you purchase, when divided by the number of years chosen, makes the price for protection get LESS. Yes, I said LESS. Your initial investment may be more, but as I said, divide your purchase by number of years you protect, and the SAVINGS GROW! The technicians are friendly and professional! One probably lives near you and you just havent met, yet. I get lizards stuck in my window A/C unit fan, FUNNY, right/ NO, wrong! WE HAVE USED SEARS FOR OVER 10 YEARS FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS OF OUR SEARS AIRCONDITIONING PRODUCTS.NORMALLY THE TECHNICIANS DO A GREAT JOB HOWEVER THIS PAST VISIT THE TECHNICIANS WERE NOT INCLINED TO CLEAN THE AIRCONDITINER COILS WHICH ARE VERY IMPORTATANT FOR OUTSIDE UNITS.HENCE WE WERE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE VISIT.

I received multiple notices from Sears as well as calls from my repairman prior to scheduled service appointment alerting me with updates as to his arrival. Repairman arrived on time and immediately assessed the problem with my dryer, retrieved necessary parts from his van and repaired the dryer within 30-45 minutes. Dryer has performed excellently since repair. Great job!

I only put the extended warranty on my Kenmore washer. My serviceman made me aware of the importance of warranty on the dryer also. He was able to get the account updated and serviced both units. Great rep for the company and great service!

This time it was the frig, and a new repairman, Edward...he did not waste anytime fixing the problem, and its wonderful to have an ice maker that works and doesnt leak all over the base of the freezer! Edward, you rock!!!And thank heavens for Sears protection agreements....Ive already saved more than I spent!

I initially contacted Sears repair in Mid May 2016. The technician came two weeks later and determined that he had to order a part for our Kenmore HE3 washer, which he did. Sears automated called two weeks later to confirm that the technician would be here the next day. I called back and told them that the part had not arrived. The part was tracked and it showed that the part was delivered to my address and left in the garage. Wrong, you cannot get in my garage from the outside without a remote control, so this did not happen. Long story short, Sears ordered a replacement for the lost part and rescheduled the technicians visit. This part arrived about 3 days later but the technician didnt come back until a week and a half later. He an his assistant dismantled the washer to replace the drum. After a couple of hours the repair was complete and I was told I was good to go. I told the technician that I had 6 loads waiting and that I was going to put the washer to the test. Well, I loaded the first load which was a small load ( I was skeptical) and during the final spin, which on the HE3 is a supper fast spin, the washer started to vibrate violently and making a noise that made you want to call someone for help. So I called Sears immediately and asked them to try and get in touch with the technician and of course, they could not. Then they rescheduled his visit for two weeks later. As of this writing, I am still waiting for the technician to return next Tuesday (7/12/16). In a case like mine, seeing that I had been waiting 6 weeks already, I feel that Sears should have scheduled the technician sooner than two weeks. My next washer will definitely NOT be a Sears Kenmore based on my recent experience.

I made an appointment June 12, technician could not come until June 23 for a refrigerator leaking water. Diagnosis and part was ordered and I had to pay $248. Technician could not come back until July 7. Technician who arrived was overweight and had trouble getting behind refrigerator. We were out of town for two days only to find water all over kitchen floor and on our carport when we returned. Called Sears only to be told a tech was not available until JULY 24!! But I had to pay for service 30 days in advance. I will never use Sears again!!

Customer Service very hard to reach. I was transferred 5 times to different departments. Unreasonably high charges for very short, easy repair. Overcharge for part listed on their website for $107 but charged me $151.58. Took 20 minutes to perform repair and charged 285.52 labor to replace bake igniter in gas oven. Total charge was $437.10.

Bought washer in January 2011Replaced pump on it on once. It went out the 2nd time. Replaced it and then the door lock broke and they don’t make that part anymore. But Sears charged me for the 2nd pump on a washer they couldn’t fix.

The first service guy came and assessed the issues with our dryer.He could not fix it without the proper parts.He ordered 3 parts for the dryer.The parts arrived at our home.The second service guy came to fix our dryer.He replaced the Moisture Sensor.He said we did not need the other two parts.He took the other two parts with him.Within the hour after he left, I started Laundry.The dryer started acting up again.The dryer is not fixed! It is worse than before.Now, I have rescheduled for a technician to come out for the 3rd time!So, when this person comes, he will not have the proper parts to work with.Therefore, we will have to have someone sit at our house for a 4th day to hopefully get our dryer fixed.It would help with continuity if the same technician that analyzes the problem could be the one to return and fix the issue.I hope this helps with filling out this survey.

Worst repair service I have ever experienced in my life. 2 times to work on my new riding mower and it still is not working.What a waste of money to pay extra for extened warranty and it takes 2 weeks or longer to get someone to work on it.Note I said work on it because when they leave it still doesnt work.😣When you call to speak to someone the person is overseas and cant do anything to help other than read the computer screen to tell you how sorry they are but the soonest they can have someone is 2 weeks out. Sears used to be a name you could count on I see that has changed.It would be one thing if this is the 1st time this has happened to me but I had a brand new washer that I had the same experience .I have learned to.make sure they close out each work order so after 4 visits with the same issue they have to replace the product.

We have used Seats Home Repair since 2014 with mostly bad experiences. Today has been the last straw, for the 2nd time since December I found out the technician didn’t order the parts for our repair. The washer has been down or only partially working since 12/24/17! It’s the second week of March ! I have tried to stay loyal to a company i have believed in, but with incompetence like this I can’t .

We are disappointed with the Sears Appliance home repair we received on 9.17.16. We paid $233.09 on 8.17.16 to have an electrical issue repaired related to our washers spin cycle. The spin cycle was not working well within a day of the technicians visit on 8.17.16. So, thinking we had a warranty on the repair for 90 days, I contacted Sears again and the same technician came to our house. He proceeded to tell me the spin cycle wasnt working due to a mechanical issue and the repair cost would be $422 (we declined the repair but we were charged $79 for the service call diagnosis). I understand an electrical issue is different than a mechanical issue but I wasnt sure why the technician didnt catch both problems on the initial visit. On top of that, we are frustrated we were charged for a service call charge on the second visit too.

Well, waited for part to arrive...then tech arrived...part all bent up.Couldnt use it so he had to reorder. Also needed two of the same parts..only one delivered.. Waiting for new order...meantime. bulb (light) is out. Cant get up on range/stove to get to bottom of micro. to unscrew bolt to get to the light bulb. Its awful being 74 and using a flashlight while cooking on my range.

The repair man said the henges were not working properly. The door would not stay shut. After the repairs the doors are out of line about an inch. The gasket is only half way on the door facing the door is still coming open.

I am now rescheduling a technician to come to my home for the THIRD TIME. The first guy was an idiot and misdiagnosed my washing machine, and the second guy didnt have the part he needed to properly fix the real problem. And I am STILL waiting a call for a 3rd guy to come to our house and hopefully fix our washing machine. Therefore, I have been without a washing machine since March 15 and today it is April 19. So in conclusion, we will never be using Sears again.
