Thank you to the Lakewood office …for helping me find my first job with Area Temps. I was recently let go from my first assignment on Friday and was left with no clue on what I was going to do next, being that the holidays are right around the corner and I have two little girls to take care of. My recruiter assured me that everything will be okay, not to worry, take the day off, and he will have me something within a day or two. And, that is exactly what he did! I start my second job with Area Temps tomorrow and I’m so grateful! I don’t know anywhere in Ohio where you can go and get results that fast. When I say I am happy to be an employee of Area Temps, I really am! And, I would like to thank them for everything they did for me. I know for some people, this may not be much, but it means everything to me!
Area Temps is the best staffing agency to use as a resource. I was out of a job for several months, and searching for a job on my own did not prove successful. I decided to call Area Temps. The entire staff is professional and they are diligent with their job searches. I am an accounting major at Cleveland State University and I wanted to work in the accounting field. They were able to place me on assignments almost immediately. In addition, when one assignment ended, they were able to keep me busy until another accounting position was available. I am currently working for a nonprofit organization as an administrative assistant/bookkeeper. Area Temps placed me on this job and it is extremely fulfilling. I will always be indebted to the Area Temps staff.
I just wanted to take a moment to to let you know how much I appreciate Bianca Camargo. She has went above and beyond in assisting with my placement. Her dedication and loyalty to her clients exceeds anything I could have ever expected. Thank you, Bianca for your commitment and patience during this transition. You are truly appreciated!
After much talk with the coordinator I have chosen to not pursue further interest with company. They told me they had a lot of jobs for the positions I was interested in. After which I searched their website to which I found virtually nothing. Also they request you to a drug test on site. Which I’m not a druggie but I have always gone to a lab to take test. I understand you guys do it to save money but I don’t think you guys are qualified to do that.
Area Temps itself is an okay staffing company . Just stay clear of the Parma Office . The Agent known as Alison is a very rude individual. In my opinion should be terminated from her job Very unprofessional and extremely rude. I recommend going to another office branch as you will have way better results and experience . I did just that and was offered a job with very good pay and hours.
If I could give them no stars I would. Very unprofessional, nasty snobby attitudes and lots of discrimination.
Good start...looks to b well organized
Only rating one star so I can write review. Went in to fill out an application applied for a job on website, lady sounded nice.. the whole time they were talking about personal problems and drama, very bad attitudes.. nobody ever returns voicemails anytime I call I get cut off when I try to explain something. Applied a month ago and was never placed anywhere. Why have jobs posted on your website if they are not available!!
I went in, in February and did the testing and interview. The staff at the Parma location, never gave up on me, and were very motivated to find me a job that not only worked for the customer, but fit my needs as well. The staff is very attentive, and always available for my questions, concerns and needs. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone that is unemployed to give Area Temps a chance. I am presently working at a job that I love, I am so impressed with how well they matched me to a job that was perfect for me!
This place is a joke. They got me a job ill give em that. But they lied to me. I never clocked in or out so my time got messed up.... One time my whole pay for the week was late so they werent gonna pay me til the following week.I just recently left the job they sent me to cause i was sick of the run around and being lied straight to my face. Go to a different place is what id recommend.
Every one in the office was nice to me but I never received a job, left April over 5 messages never so much as received a call back, emails S well. Dont waste your time here
I went to this place January of 2019 it is now Sept 2019 and they still have not placed me when I first went there they act like they had a job ready for me saying they have a job in parma that would be a good position for me so i did all paperwork interview which took a little over an hour to do for them to tell me they have nothing available I got the feeling that get bonuses for ever new application they recieve and they also told me to call once a week to check in well 9 months later not even a hour of work so stressed struggling and frustrated I thought these place got paid to get you a job.
All the women here are NASTY the women with the brown hair and tall was rude to me and this place should get 0 stars from every one. All these women do is sit on there chairs and complain about there life when they probably making 20 dollars an hour, also I heard them trying to “whisper” about one of the clients.
I ve left several messages no one ever calls you back. Ive also applied to several jobs they show listed and still no response. This place is a scam and their jobs are non existent dont waste your time here.
Do you not trust the lady Alison she didn’t understand what was going on with me I didn’t even except a job and she terminated me for some reason she said we send you the drop test form through email I never got it her partners called me a few times when I was in Chicago I was in the hospital they don’t understand please don’t work for them I don’t trust Alison
Rude with funky attitudes. Why are they mad? They already got a job! Mayfield is much better. They dont call you back and keep transferring you. You better off trappin!
I called this location about a job advertised on their site. I left several messages on their voice mail, no one responded back to me. I called again on another job, still the same problem occurred. Eventually I found a job on my own; without the help of an agency. If you dont want to respond back, to the people who contact you for work, then find a new occupation. You definitely dont have a problem getting your money from everyone. I wouldnt recommend area temps to my worst enemy.
Got me a job at there place but it was only part time the next day i get called for a full time job and i didnt call the company to let them know cause it was the weekend well long story short i call them back cause they left me a voicemail i explain to them what happened and the lady got smart with me instead of being happy they get mad over me getting a full time job all i can say is dont go thru these people
Area temps they are no good I delt with Jessica Lehman sales coordinator shes no help and she doesnt have the employees back she dont return phone calls she says everything you want to hear but its all smoke. So if you want a gd paying job Don t go to area temps try another agency like express employment in Twinsburg Ohio they are better and friendly and they take there time on finding employment that fits your skill set
Horrible. I have had an unpleasant experience with them prior to my visit today. Today they wasted mine and my bfs time. We were told to fill out apps, then we were rudely informed they do not hire felons and proceeded to shred the paperwork he had just wasted his time filling out.
This place is just despicable! First and foremost, they post bogus job ads online. After applying to a job online, No one ever got back to me so I called them and finally talked to someone. After driving 35 minutes to the Parma office, and sitting there for 2 hours filling out paper work and waiting for the understaffed office to catch up the the appointments they scheduled, I finally got to talk to an interviewer. After reading a little closer at the documents he was attempting to have me sign, It stated word for word,If you fail to start an assignment as agreed, without personally notifying your Area Temps supervisor at least two hours prior to your regular start time, you are subject to termination and will be liable for a $100 NO START penalty, which will be payroll-deducted from your next AREA TEMPS paycheck. Also in the same document it says this,Should you fail to complete an assignment as agreed, you will damage the professional reputation of Area Temps and will harm a valuable business relationship with our client; therfore, you are liable for $500 IN DAMAGES if you fail to complete an assignment as agreed, without two week written notice. Assign-ments of less than two weeks must be worked in their entirety. Dissatisfaction with work after accepting an assignment is NOT an acceptable excuse. So basically if you accept a job and dont like it after a few weeks and decide you will look for another job, you will be charged $500!Or if you find a job closer to home or one with better pay and quit the job, Area Temps with charge you $500.This should be illegal. I know it is at least unethical and unprofessional.
It took a while before I could find a job when I came here, I did find something in the beginning but was only there for a couple of weeks. Then I had to wait for months before I was found another job somewhere else. But luckily, Im still at the job and sometime later got hired in. Ok place to try to find a job but it might take a while.
Do Not waste your time please people if you can go somewhere else I would highly recommend it
After posting their response - they neglected to say they told me it was “my fault” and refused to work with me further. Rhetoric
If you need a job within a reasonable amount of time, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! You will NEVER GET A CALL ABOUT WORK!! I signed up here litterly last year and only got one call about a factory job that payed $8 even though i stated from the beginning that is not what i want. When i called back literally 10 minutes later after the missed call she said oh someone allready took the job but ill call you when ive got something. This was the last phone call i received from area temps in a years time, which I found my own job and had work for that year no thanks to this terrible place. Please go somewhere else dont even bother wasting your time here.
UNACCEPTABLE. I put in an application a week ago. I spent several hours of my day at their facility in Parma. They were to email me some tests to take. I have followed up via their email address and Jessica Lehman twice, first to thank them for their time letting them know I had hoped to hear something soon. Crickets..No response. A second time I emailed to remind them to send me the tests to take since they had not done so as promised. No response. It is now over a week later and still nothing...Not a phone call, not an email. I am not happy about the hours I wasted in their establishment. I am working with several employment agencies around Cleveland, and as a professional I will tell you this is by far the worst experience I have had to date...maybe with any company. Backing up a bit, and this is probably the worst part: when I walked in there were three girls sitting right up front at desks, I am not sure which one was the most inconvenienced and put out by my presence, they did not greet me, they did not smile the entire time I was there, they did not put down their cell phones, and they talked to me like I was a piece of trash. (Let me reiterate, I am an educated 48 year old Professional!) ..downright disrespectful, not to mention a very poor representation of Area Temps, they should really reconsider who they have greeting THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE MAKING THEM MONEY... they were truly and obviously bothered by the disruption of me just showing up for my appointment that they may have to work (and by work, I mean hand me forms) for a minute. Absolutely the worst display of professionalism I have ever witnessed. On the positive side, I have found employment thru another agency, with a great company and great pay, better than expected. I highly recommend the professionals at Adecco in Beachwood. Maybe Area Temps can take some lessons from them.
Ive been going through area temps now for about 2 weeks, I know that you wont get a job that quick, but Ive called them several times. Im always getting answering machines. Ive left plenty of messages with them and nobody has returned my calls. Starting to get very irritated.
Never found me a job called and sent emails it’s sad they told me they had a good job lined up for me and they never come through as always
I left several messages on their voice mail, no one responded back to me....
I called many times and no one careDo not waste your time
Waste of time you wont get a answer...
They cant find work for me
Day sucks
