My first experience at this nail salon was amazing and I will only come here anytime I want to get a new set! The staff was very welcoming, and always nice. (I had bad racial discrimination at past nail salons.) The person who did my nails was Dr. Harold and might I say I was very pleased! He made sure each of my nails were perfectly tailored to my liking, and he was VERY gentle with my hands. He was also very kind. Appreciate the quality of my nails, and how the salon was so welcoming in general. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GOING HERE !

This salon does not use proper acrylic. This is illegal and is putting the public at risk. I hold I license in the state of wi. They also reuse files and dont clean tools in-between clients. Please find a reputable location this is not it!! I will be reporting to the state board.

My skin got cut and burned MULTIPLE times, no apology. End result looks unprofessional and messy. all the nails they did were over-filed down so they are uneven and crooked. Polish was not applied neatly. not happy with my experience will not be returning

Went here last minute, not my usual place. My pedicure was alright. I paid extra for massage and she just slapped my legs. I then went to the chair for a full set. She didnt clean my cuticles, she used the GRINDER and burnt all the way around on majority of my fingers. I decided to get coffin shaped and she cut every finger on my right hand with the nail clipper to get the angle. I asked her to go shorter and she took off the smallest amount. She glued basically every tip to the edges of my fingers and was very painful to peel apart. Usually your asked to get up and wash hands to get everything off, that didnt happen. When I left I literally had to peel off the acrylic left overs like school glue. I ended up completely redoing them myself because they were so uneven, jabbing into my skin, and absolutely ugly. The most painful and horrible job Ive ever had done.. will never go back.

I had gone with my gf to get her nails done for the first time. I got mine done just so she’s not anxious there by herself. I got a short almond nails with black and a light layer of glitter. My gf got short square nails. I swear to god she spent most of my appointment adding so much of the gel powder on my nails then grinding it down with what looked like a very used sanding band.. She had no idea what she was doing when it came to shaping(Nails were crooked and not shaped as well as the others. My appointment took an hour and almost 40 minutes(also of her barely saying ANYTHING to me, maybe 5 words and just pointing and holding their hand out and staring at me) Also my nails started coming off within the second week of having them. 10/10 would not recommend. I honestly don’t even think I took photos of my nails because of how disappointed I was.

I chose a full set and I love my nails! Everyone is so nice and helpful. I will go there again. I recommend.

Paid $15 each to get Mani and nails painted. Looks horrible! My 5 year old nephew could have done a better job! Very disappointed. Also They dont listen to what you want and just do whatever they please. Dont waste your time or money.😡

I absolutely love this place! Best nail salon around by far. I have never walked out unhappy and have been going for a long time. No matter who does my nails they take the time and make sure i look bomb when I walk out. Highly recommend!

I will never be able to recommend this salon to anyone. $195 to get full set, painted gel, gel pedis for both my daughter and I. That is outrageous considering the speed they whip through the pedicures, you can’t even enjoy it ! Everything from the minute I walked in the door, was an “extra $5” or an “extra $10”. Which all wasn’t even mentioned until we are already finger/toe deep in the process . Don’t bother asking for regular polish because they don’t use the nail drier in the back and it takes “2 hrs” for it to dry. $10 additional to shape your nails ? Are you kidding me ? You pay $20 extra for gel polish, want matte gel? Unless you want to pay an additional fee, forget about it !The two women who did our pedicures were kind. But the others are rude. I walked out of there less $200 for nails we didn’t even like . But we were running out of time otherwise I would have had them re do. Nothing like paying an arm and a leg for a terrible job and being forced to not have the desired look you wanted in the first place, seems like it’s always what THEY think is good for you 🙄. Model nails and 90% of their employees don’t actually care about what you want. It’s a total rip off. I’ll stick to the Rice lake salon !

Kelsey has always been very gentle when doing my nails. She is creative and can bring your vision to life. She is easy to talk to and has a great personality, which you want when you need a little me time. Highly recommend!

Went to get acrylics taken off here and they essentially ripped them off of my nails. If you look closely, my ring finger nail has hardly any layers left and is torn too low and hurts quite a bit. Was charged $15 for the worst way of removing acrylics. Will not be back.

I have been going to Padar (Pa) for awhile now and she never disappoints! She’s extremely efficient, does amazing work and is always super friendly. I will continue to always go to her and highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to get their nails done!!

I have been going to Model Nails for 10+ years and they never disappoint! They welcome you and accommodate to any need/want I have. Pa (Whiteflower) is amazing at intricate designs and is very creative and artistic! Model Nails doesnt overcharge, is very clean/hygenic, and they are very customer orientated! I will not go any other place and I HIGHLY recommend the!

Favorite place to get my nails done! My acrylic nails usually break off after 4 weeks elsewhere, but I can honestly go up to 6 weeks now 😅 I always book with Pa because it’s easier for me to communicate what I want. She follows through with my request all the time and never disappoints.

Went in for a pedicure. She was extremely rough with the scrub on my legs and feet and even extremely rough applying the lotion. Thats supposed to be the most relaxing part of the pedicure! My cuticles were cut so deep I have red rings around my toe nails. Got the gel nail polish and she didnt apply it to my whole nail.

Kelsey has done my mani and pedi before and did such an amazing job. I had a really bad ingrown toe nail when she did my pedi, and was very gentle with doing it as she didnt want to cause pain. Anyone that has ever had one knows they can be very painful if not taken out, but she agreed to do that for me. Kelsey was very knowledgeable about the aftercare for it and went above and beyond to help me out. I will return to her again soon.

I have been going to Model Nails for the past 2 years. The first 2 times I went, I was very impressed!! The young lady was polite as well as very good with acrylic nails! Due to location, I had went to another salon once to have fills and I will not do that again! They have 2 locations in Oakwood Mall, and I usually go to the location by JC Penny.....the young lady hadnt been there, so I bounced from one staff to another, all good, but not like her. So I asked about her and was told she was at the other salon. Today I went there! She was there, and did my fills! PERFECTLY!! She is so gentle, and that is important when you have fibromyalgia. Plus, she has a way with producing perfectly shaped nails! I will be going to her whenever she is available!! Thank you, Ali!

I had a deluxe pedi done here two days ago and she was so rough and went way to far with the cheese grater! The sides of my feet are down to the meat. My heals are in so much pain! The paint job was horrible! I’m so disappointed! Worst part is I work construction and I am on my feet all day!!! Won’t be going back. Also I’m pretty sure the reason she was so rough and not paying attention was because she was arguing with her son( not exactly sure because I don’t speak the language but it didn’t sound like a happy conversation!)
