I asked what would be the exact amount for my services before they began. I showed pictures of exactly how I wanted my nails & made no changes during the process. But upon finishing I was charged a different price than I was told it would be before starting.Additionally, during services I noticed that the line on my nails where not as wide as I wanted them, so I asked the nail tech could she widen them. I was told “it wouldn’t look right” and instead of fixing the issue I had with my nails, she proceeded to but a top coat on and requested I pay. Regardless of if she thought it would look right or not, I was a customer paying for a service and if I requested for the lines drawn to be a little wider, my request should have been honored. You may have a better experience, but I will not return nor would I recommend.Please note that as a business woman myself I take no satisfaction in leaving negative reviews. But I also do not appreciate paying over a hundred bucks for a service and not being satisfied or at least being offered a reasonable adjustment to my issue.

This was LITERALLY the WORST pedicure I’ve ever had! The reviews were awesome art on google looked decent, btw I’m from Ark. so I’m relying heavily on online research. The youngest guy did my pedicure .. the best part was when my feet were sitting idly in the water. He was ripping the skin on my cuticles cutting into my toes as he was ripping my cuticles.. the exfoliation block was on the smoothing side when he was doing my heels 🙄 I got the coconut pedi. He scrubbed my legs dry no water.. not my feet at all.. dug his thumb nails into my feet when he did actually message the oil in. He was relieved so that the nice guy with the pink hair could do my toes but even he had to fix them and when he left the guy never even came back to take the polish sock off. We made eye contact and everything lol smh only 2 stars because the guy with the pink hair was nice

Prices Are Higher Than My Normal Nail Salon In Chicago. Paraffin Pedicure Was Amazing & Worth the $48. But No Chip Manicure For $40 Is Over Priced.

The owner makes her own price for your nails when she is finish. Way too over priced 100$ for a small simple short set. You will never get customers back like that they cut my finger and she overcharged my total shorting my change and took the price up 5 dollars from what she just said when I told her she shorted me!! I will not return or don’t recommend👎🏽

Today visiting from Texas and needed a place to go and it was the best experience ever. Ask for Bennie when you go. He might take long but it is well worth it.

We went here to get our nails done for a wedding. They sat us immediately without an appointment. The owner and her sons were so fun to talk to. Of course the nails were excellent as well.

Amazing experience! Visiting Memphis for the weekend and this was my first stop. This family owned business was exactly what I needed. They got me, my dad and cousin in ASAP and did a great job. They were so funny and easy going. My hands and feet look so pretty. Thank you all! I got a full set and the 68 dollar pedi and was done within 2 hrs.

This is long overdue. I have to start by saying, I just love Kim and her family!!! My mom is wheelchair bound with severe hand stiffness due to stroke. Our very first visit, Kim didnt find an excuse to service her yet got some pillows and patiently propped my moms arm up and did a wonderful job on each finger. Every visit was nothing short of great customer service, genuine care and awesome work on someone with a balled up stiff and muscle crimped hand. After I moved away, my aunt continued to take my mom to Kim because of kindness and patience. Thankful for you all because my mom loves getting her nails done!! Kim, I wish you were here with us, we can definitely use your patience and skills because theres no one like you. I had to take the time to acknowledge greatness and give thanks to those who go over and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Kim, for being the person that your are, youre some kind of wonderful and we greatly appreciate you! My mom misses your kindness, as do I. Be well and take care. Patty & Mina :-)

I absolutely love this nail shop. I drive here every 2 weeks. Great atmosphere and I definitely enjoy the comedy and movies that they have on the tv for entertainment while getting service. I love the family atmosphere as the owner works with her boys!

I asked for a mani fill in and pedi. The owner said the basic pedi was $35. I wanted shellac/gel. Theres a sign stating $5 extra for the MALE PEDICURE (but only MALES were doing pedis)? Theres also kindergarten handwritten signs all over the walls stating prices for pedis starting at $55. I walked in a little after 2PM, bc the guys working were so busy gossiping with the female clients-they were going slow and I couldnt get my hands done. I did not leave until after 4PM and was charged $60. I could have gotten a faster and better job done by my 10 year old niece. Do the math and save your time and money and go somewhere professional.

This is a great place to get your nails done. I recommend the exclusive pedicure you’ll have jelly, massage, sugar scrub, and hot wax. Everyone here is full of personality and always ready to work. SERIOUSLY LOL S.V.R. is where it’s at. Ask for Makayla on the pedi’s and Kim on the mani’s.

4 of us went in after calling to see if they could do 3 pedis and 1 fill. They said yes, so we came in right away. The 3 pedis had to wait at least in the chair and water for about 20 minutes. Me the FILL never did get waited on. I then decided ok, I’ll just have my 1 broke nail fixed STILL NOTHING. though I was in her station waiting. The lady went to my husband and did his feet real quick then to my sons and did his real quickFelt UNAPPRECIATED. RUSHED. AND NOT IMPORTANT. I usually tip very well. TODAY I DID NOT.They overbooked and NO ONE LOOKED HAPPY. plus the place was dirty. Clippers out. And on the floor. VERY UNKEPT

So I’m changing my review. Camila did an amazing job on filing my nails and shaping. I would definitely go to her again for that.The unfortunate part about my visit is that I got my nails done 4 days ago and had to go back already to have them fix because they were crack or shattered. Literally by the time I got home that same day I got them fix, they were all shattered again. I’ve never had this issues like this before and I’m super disappointed. They charge $50 for a dip manicure and they should last more than a couple days. The owner then tried to charge me $15 for a nail fix even though it hadn’t been even 48 hours yet and she put a top coat on that I’d never seen before. I thought I had found my new spot since I just moved to Memphis. I was wrong.

I went for the first time yesterday and I was pleased. They fit me in for a pedi and polish change. All staff members were very attentive to me - asking if the water was ok, if I had been helped, taking my coat, etc. the guy who did my nails was so nice. He actually made conversation with me and we had a good chat. He was very detailed on my pedicure. Then, I told them I just needed a polish change so I expected like most places for them to just slap on some color. He actually filed them, buffed them, and then did the polish and it looks like gel mani even tho it’s just regular. I was surprised by this extra care. Now, this isn’t the fanciest and cleanest salon you will ever go to, but, the quality and attentiveness/kindness of the staff definitely makes up for it. I’ll be back!

Received a dip manicure with tips added and a pedicure.. the pedi was just OKAY I have gotten way better but I’m mainly disappointed on the application of my nails.. THEY BREAK within 48 hours.. listen to the other reviews ! It’s only been a week and I have more than two nails broken in half and cracked..they are too pricey for this outcome and I won’t even bother getting them fixed here !

Unfortunately I was not able to get my nails, Feet, or eyebrows done. I called and made an appointment and informed her this was my first time at their nail shop. After I signed in, they took my temperature, and had me to wash my hands they told me to have my kid wait in the car because my kid was not being service. I told her that I wasn’t going to do that just for me to get my services. I felt like that was unprofessional to ask someone to leave their child in the car and even though I made a appointment they said it would be awhile.

My 6 year old daughter and I came in for a mani/pedi before her appointments at st. Jude began. I felt rushed and beings this was my daughters first mani/pedi they didnt really do much to make it special. They didnt even have a youth chair. Her feet are peeling now, so when we get to South Dakota I will take her to a salon to get that fixed. We did come in a little before closing only because another salon was closed despite hours saying they were open, so we wasted 45 minutes trying to find somewhere else. So they just rushed and I felt I didnt get a quality mani/pedi. They also said they couldnt do an ombre paint style for my daughter, which was disappointing. #prayersforreese

My friend and I got our nails done on Tuesday and here it is now Friday and my dip manicure is completely gone. It had already started cracking and peeling and they finally just started popping off. Both of our pedicures were done by guys who did not seem to be paying any attention to what they were doing. They were distracted by each other and the Netflix show on in the background to the point that we spent almost 3 hours here. Once they were finally done we couldn’t get out of the door fast enough. Oh, I’ll also add that when paying, the guy swiped my card at least 10 times if not more. My chip on my card is currently worn out and so when that didn’t work he just kept swiping it and I told him to stop so it wouldn’t keep charging me. He kept swiping of course. It processed fine but I am VERY concerned about multiple charges showing up. Will not be back.

Great nail place. Knowledgeable, on trend, and comfortable...just plan to be there the full time for your services. They take their time to do a thorough job. I was very relaxed and they engage with you too. I got a full set with gel and jelly pedi (I think its called? I recommend). I was there 3 hours.***EDIT TO ADD...I WENT TO A DIFFERENT SALON LESS THAN 2 WEEKS LATER DUE TO ACRYLIC LIFTING AROUND CUTICLE AND THIS WAS BECAUSE SVR SALON DID NOT USE THE DRILL TO TAKE OFF ENOUGH CUTICLE. THEREFORE, WHEN THERE WAS NEW GROWTH IT LIFTED THE NAIL. JUST FYI.🤔🤷🏽‍♀️

I got acrylic nails. Not all of the tips they placed on my nails were the correct size. The person who did the powder did not pay any attention to the thickness or the shape. My nails are lumpy and look inverted. I definitely will not be back here.

I found out about this salon on google. It was hard to find at first (it’s right behind the bus terminal, in the small building). They are so polite and family oriented. They offer beverages and even make you feel like a regular person. They give opinions and might even share a joke. For now on I will always come to 440 N Front st. Lol I’m giving the review while I’m getting my nails done.

Have been there numerous times. Best salon in Memphis. The owner and her oldest son are perfectionists. The two younger girls....sometimes their heart isnt into it. The youngest son is the door greeter and is delightful. Without a doubt, the best nail salon in Memphis.

NOT HAPPY!!! I treated myself and my daughter to a day at the nail spa. Not a treat, we were charged for the shape, tip color, and nail length, because they consider what we had as long. I dont have a problem paying for services where the pricing is visiblely placed, and I felt more like we were charged for individual items, because we werent liked this is not acceptable service. We wont be recommending them to anyone.

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 stopped going here cause the pedicures werent all the best. Went got my toes polished it was $12. Went today $8 for daughter polish and $35 for the dipping powder and I didnt get a manicure. The best customer service

It had the potential to be a great pedicure. They promoted some kind of ultimate pedicure with jelly, scrub and hot wax for $62. Sounded like a perfect way to relax, even if it was the most I’d ever paid for a pedi. Was even given a glass of (cheap) Merlot.Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. They had people wanting pedicures, and seated them. The nail trim and skin trim was rushed. The scraping of the heal a sponge only. The massage position was rushed. I was wrapped in hot towels and abandoned while they worked on someone else. Eventually there 11-13 year old boy was told to remove them and attempted to put my feet in wax, not pushing the wax up over the feet. Then I was abandonded again. Then the lady finally came over removed the wax and said now you can wait for your wife. Didn’t check her work, didn’t ask if I wanted clear (as a male), even though she removed it from my last pedicure elsewhere. My wife’s experience was virtually the same, although the tech doing her feet did scrape her skin and provided a better massage.Save your money. They are in it for themselves and not their clients.

I was in town for a short visit, and SVR was able to accomodate my group of four in the late evening. They were very friendly and even served me a great cup of green tea. Thank you!

I have used S.V.R. for a few years but don’t think I will return. They do a great job but the last time I was there they had a vulgar comedian, Kevin Hart, playing on the tv where they and the customers could watch. Every profane word you can imagine and explicit sexual acts were talked about loudly by this comedian. I had a male doing my pedicure who seemed totally engrossed in the show though he did a good job. A business is no place for that kind of program. I was offended and felt very uncomfortable. Shame on you for allowing this at your salon.

Didn’t like this nail shop at all really. Spent TWO hours in there just for a fill in and a pedicure. The employees just make up prices as they go along and disregard their signage, which is also too vague and confusing for anyone to understand. The mother did my fill in and after telling me that the entirety of my fill in including a single nail repair was $22, told me that it was in fact $32 (with regular polish NOT gel) when it was time to pay. On top of that I got a “regular” pedicure which was $28 but was charged $5 extra just for nail polish. This shop is so nitpicky they have separated “regular” nail polish (which looks old and gross on the shelves) from any decent OPI non-gel products, thus the extra $5. According to their fake rules, a fill in costs extra if your nails go past your nail bed. So essentially I spent how much I would’ve spent on a BRAND NEW FULL SET for a freaking fill in. $65 total was too much for the sub par service and lackluster polish job. Do not go here if you can help it.
