This is a long review but if you would like to skip to what was the nail in the coffin for why I’m so upset, please skip to the paragraph spacing below. Also, the pictures of my nails longer are my before (the best ones I had) and the other are the afters. I would just like to preface that I am not a high maintenance person, but something I do try to stay on top of is my nails. I have very naturally healthy, thick, long nails and I understand when a nail is too far broken to save. But that being said I have never been to a salon that doesn’t give you an option (IE gluing the nail, etc) before they just cut your perfectly healthy nails down to the skin. And I’m not exaggerating, he cut into my skin. I had 3 nails that had a slight break pretty low, which is normal for me, my regular salon usually just glues it to hold me over until it grows out or breaks off at a normal length. This guy started cutting my broken nails but then proceeded to cut all my healthy nails down to my skin after I told him I only wanted them cut half way because I didn’t want them too short. He got to my last nail which was already cut short and said he needed to cut it even shorter and I stopped him and said “can’t you just glue it? I have never been to a salon where they’ve cut my nails down to the skin like you have.” He then agreed that it was a better idea and glued that one nail. The damage was already done though since he already cut them all off, so I just wanted it to be over.He proceeded to keep asking me what was wrong and why I was sad (but in a playful way almost like he was taunting me?) and after asking me about 5 times why I was sad I said because my nails were so short. He then proceeded to laugh at me?? I continued to stare at him and he said “no no that can’t be why you’re sad” I said “yes of course that’s why I’m sad, my nails were very long and healthy when I got here and now they’re cut down to the skin.” He laughed and said “if you want long nails you can buy a full set.” PLEASE READ THAT LINE AGAIN. I had to bite my tongue I was so mad. I said “I came in here with naturally long nails, why would I pay to have them all cut off and get a full set?” He asked if I come in here a lot and I said “no this was my first time...” And he just kept laughing!Not only is this the worst manicure I have ever received, but the way I was spoken to was the most degrading. I don’t know if this guy just didn’t know how to handle an uncomfortable situation but the way he handled it was beyond poor. Also not sure if he ruined my nails to try to get me to buy a full set or if he really just was that uneducated.. I’m not the type to get confrontational, and I tipped only because the lady who did my pedicure did a good job. But this was by far the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. I don’t know his name, all I can say is he was very young and had long black hair. Please save yourself time and money and go somewhere else because this whole ordeal cost me $91. I didn’t get so much as an apology, just constant laughing. I will be letting everyone I know to steer clear of this place.REPLY TO OWNERS REPLY:it’s been 2 weeks and no, my nails have not recovered- that’s how much damage was done to them. No thank you, I will not be back.

Kayla did the most phenomenal job on my nails, I love them. The creativity she had after I gave her my vision of what I wanted is way more than I expected. She is great with customers and loves to laugh which is nice. Kayla stayed late to finish up for me and I really appreciate it. Thank you so much!P.S. Everyone else was very nice and friendly too!

The Best!All the employees are so talented, kind and really listen to what you want. I always bring in pictures and explain the detail and on what fingers/toes of wanted designs - I am always impressed with how much better than even my imagination of how my nails turn out!The pedicures are amazing! Really clean and clear off your dead skin, calluses and any problem areas. The lotions and scents they use are wonderful.Their friendliness, quality of service and respectful of appointment time keeps me coming bank again and again.Thank you Luxer!

I have been seeing Daisy at Luxur for over a year now. I can always count on her for an amazing manicure! She is fast but detailed, what she does is an art. I have never had a go-to nail-tech but now I do! Daisy and all of the staff at Luxur are absolutely wonderful! They make you feel welcome and comfortable during your manicure, pedicure, wax or whatever service you get done. It is a spa experience! Always clean and professional!

I great choice for a simple manicure or some amazing designs! Ive been going here for over 3 years and no other place can compare to the quality! The owner is wonderful and the staff are always there to make sure all is perfect for you. The girls are very talented and some have specialties with their designs, plenty of options! They do the job properly and not rushed. Highly recommended!

I have been here twice to get my nails done and I will never go anywhere else! Both sisters are nice, down to earth and they take the time to ask you if you are satisfied & if you like your nails. I highly recommend the bio gel, I get an overlay on my natural nails and I always get compliments. My nails still look great after 2 weeks.

I’m absolutely in love with the nails I got, their service is great as well! I wrote an email stating how I had social anxiety and I was able to show a picture of what I wanted and the lady at the front desk past the message on and there was very minimal interaction which made me feel extremely comfortable. I’m very satisfied with the nails and the customer service.

They always make sure nails are properly done. Great service by far best place I’ve went to Montreal. The guy that usually does my nails even gives me good tips on what looks better, very satisfied with their service.

My all time favorite place to get my nails done. Their prices are relatively standard but the QUALITY IS SO MUCH MORE. Ive gotten my nails and eyelashes done here and its very clean and professional. The owner is EXTREMELY friendly and the atmosphere is great. I always enjoy coming here.

First time at this salon. Went to get a manicure and pedicure on 9/18/21. First off, they seem to always be rushing which was frustrating. Got there about 5 before my appointment, checked in and the technician Jackie which is also the manager couldnt start on my manicure or pedicure right away because she was finishing someone elses manicure. I had to wait around for about 10 minutes before I was shown to a massage chair and water basin for my pedicure. Jackie then proceeds to tell me that it will take her 7 minutes to get to me. When, actually it took her 20 minutes to finally get to me and start my pedicure, the water was getting cold by that time. She then took her time through the pedicure process and even massaged my feet and legs. When we got to the manicure station it literally took her maybe 5 minutes to finish it, she rushed through the whole process. I only ordered a simple set no gel or acrylic, but still having her rush and be so unprofessional. Made my nails look like a 1 year old did them. Im disappointed in this salon and my experience there was poor. I am staying away from this place in the future.

For me to give five stars at a nail salon it means alot. I had booked an appointment for 5:00 and waited a bit I was brought to their new location 4 doors down. I had the shape of my nails changed from oval to coffin and was very pleased with the filing. They have a lot of very nice summer colors.

They are the best salon, I have been going there for a couple of years now and they are always so welcoming, understand and nice. My nails are always done to perfection. They have an amazing team. Very clean and organized. My favorite nail salon in town, I have been to many salons and nothing beats dolly swan.

The staff did a beautiful job helping our daughter’s bridal party prepare for her upcoming wedding. They went out of their way to make it a special evening for the bride and entire wedding party. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

First of all, they overcharge by a lot for the quality of what you get. my nails looked like tongues by the end of it. also during my appointment, a nail polish bottle broke next to me and splashed all over the girl next to me. bright orange nail polish all over her white shoes and pants. mistakes happen but the lady just started scrubbing the girls shoes with acetone. not a word was said to the girl AND THEY CHARGED HER STILL

Ive been to many salons but this is by far my favorite; I travelled all the way from the west island and it was totally worth it. The staff is very polite and friendly. The tech who did my nails was very sweet and, most importantly, attentive to my needs: I asked for my russian blue nail polish to be darker and she went ahead and applied a third coat. She also fixed my nail.when I detected a tiny bubble forming. Im very satisfied with the overall experience. Great ambiance. Will definitely be going back.

I went in with my daughter for a gel manicure. After 2 weeks my nail polish has chipped in multiple locations and the clear coat on top is peeling off. This wouldnt bother me if I were hard on my hands but I am a full time college student that literally spends her life typing on a computer all day. Normally a decent polish job would last me so long I get bored and get a new one before it begins to chip or wear off.The people that did our nails could not speak English even a little. Every time I asked a question the woman doing my nails just looked at me, smiled and replied in speech I could not understand at all. I finally expressed to her that I could not understand her and she just smiled and kept on doing my nails.I wanted to do a design on my nails and after repeated attempts to communicate that to her I gave up trying. I will never go back here. My daughters nails were so bad that she went to a different salon and paid to have them redone. She didnt want to go back to Luxor and try to get them fixed.

Awesome place! The shellac finish is soooooo durable (I work with my hands all day and my nails remain pristine)! Its very clean and the job is always very well done ! A must go for your nails!

Most does double check their work, some doesnt realize errors so do keep your eye open

By far the best nail salon ever! They are amazing, caring and super talented! Literally the sweetest people on earth! They spoiled my daughter and I during her first mani - pedi before our vacation.

I always used to come to this place, however after last time I decided to go spend my money somewhere else where it’s quite. Employees at this location are so loud. They talk to each other loud while doing the nails. Manager is confused and doesn’t know how to handle situations for booking wrong appointments. They made me book and when I went there, he said it’s with the wrong person. My advice go some where else and spend your money ..at least your enjoying it and not having employees behind you or next you talking.

BEWARE OF THIS SALON. This was my first and ONLY visit! The nail tech was rude, rushed my manicure and FORGOT to put a top coat on one of my hands. When I asked if he was sure he was done he said yes. DO NOT go to this salon.

This business was very unprofessional. I’m a first time customer. I made appointment online and received a confirmation. When I arrived, they told me the time my appointment was set for is when they close. Then I was told they’re too busy to check their website. I was then informed that if I was unhappy I could cancel my appointment. But noticed there were other people there for appointments who weren’t being told their business was about to close.

Don’t waste your time or money!!! I’ve never had someone rush through a pedicure so fast. I made an appointment for 5:00, sat with my feet in the water until 5:25 (the water was cold by then) and was done by 5:39. I requested a regular pedicure and was SHOCKED when I went to pay and they charged me for a gel pedicure because “the polish I picked was gel”. I was never once told to look at different colors if I didn’t want gel. It was the quickest and worst pedicure I have ever gotten. Definitely will not be going back to this place. Terrible customer service.

I wanted to try a new place so decided to go here. Atmosphere was very clean, but felt rushed and they weren’t real friendly about helping you determine what would be good options. I feel like they are over priced they charge for every little thing. The fact that they pretty much demanded a tip whoever helped in the buss they want them all to be tipped which is crazy especially if you come for a full service. I expect the same person who did toes to do nails 💅

The staff made my experience relaxing and my nails are beautiful. They did a great job with my kids age 12 and 8 I will go back again.

Ruined my nails. The nail tech power filed my powder off my nails instead of soaking in acetone, didn’t apply the new powder correctly so my nail is lifting from the “powder.” They tweezed my gel off my toes and power filed instead of soaking also. They didn’t take a swab of nail polish remover to get the lotion off of my toe nails before applying base coat and the polish bubbled second day and is rubbing off. Do not waste your money.

I came to get me nails done here for the first time and the customer service was great but it’s been about an hour since i’ve got them done and they look horrible. there is glue peeling off of almost all my fingers around the nail. I don’t think i’ll ever be coming back if they can’t even glue nails on without getting it everywhere..

Everyone there is always very friendly and very professional. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy with your service. I returned wanting to have a nail color changed (my own fault) and they immediately found me a spot and fixed what I didn’t like.

Didnt even cover my whole nail really bumping really fat wrong color I asked for green and somehow got black not all the same size in length

I was getting a pedicure and I had a shirt on so they gave a towel to cover with, which is fine. But the towels was dirty and I told them that and they got upset I said something. I use them and the pass I like how they do nail. I’m not sure if I will return because of their lick of concern.

I got a pedicure on June 5th- I believe it was the Orchid one- it was VERY nice and relaxing. I then got a gel manicure and the polish is already chipping off of multiple nails. This is the second time I’ve been there- I’d definitely go back there for a pedicure, but I might go elsewhere for the manicure. Staff there is very accommodating and very nice!

This was my first time getting a manicure and pedicure at Luzer. They started off the same as most other places. The pedicure was going ok until a woman came up while I was still getting my pedicure and stated she was going to do my manicure. Mind you Im not even done with my pedicure. She stands by the side of the chair with a bowl of water soaks my fingers for 30 seconds and starts snippig away at my cuticles. NO CUTICLE PUSH OR ANYTHING! She nips me twice until I finally had enough.The original nail tec finally brings me over to paint my nails, Im assuming Im shes going to finish correctly. But no shes rushed off to the next customer. No arm massage, lotion, hand rub NOTHING. My cuticles are more a mess now then when I got there. PLEASE LADIES IF YOUR DOING A MANICURE ON NATURAL NAILS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. 🤔

I have gone to Kayla for my acrylics consistently for about 6 months and she always does an amazing job. she is super talented, i always look forward to getting my nails done because i know they will look amazing. All of the workers there are super friendly and very nice people, they make it a super easy and relaxing experience

Went here for a pedicure with my husband and an acrylic fill for my birthday on Saturday. We made appointments, walked in gave our names and awkwardly stood around for 5 minutes before anyone talked to us. They asked if i was doing doing gel twice, which i replied yes both times. And no one gave me the basket with gel colors until my nail tech was about to paint my nails and they realized she didn’t have a color. Pedicures were fine, my nail tech was nice. Prices were as discussed. Although, my husbands nail tech asked him three times which one treatment he wanted because she wanted him to pick a more expensive nail treatment, which he politely refused. However, i was super annoyed with Eric the nail tech that did my fill in. I had an acrylic set in and just wanted a fill in and nail shape change. On their website it says a fill in, is $25. And gel polish (which i opted for) is another $15 extra. Also the nail shape change, Eric told me it was $1 extra. Didn’t specify if it was $1 per nail or $1 for all of them. So i was expecting to spend $40 on a fill. The fill costed me $55. For that price, i could have gotten a whole new set? It was my birthday, so i didn’t have time to argue with them as i had plans after. But i did inquire about the price before i handed them my card, and i was greeted with blank stares. No one answered my question. So i just paid and left. My girlfriend was planning on having her bridesmaids get their nails done here for her wedding, definitely going to tell her to pass.

She wasn’t able to do my nail design because she said it would be too hard which was upsetting but I understood. the quality wasn’t amazing and the acrylic looked chunky. Also the nail glue ripped my nail off

I have been coming here for over a year to see Daisy and I am blown away every time with how amazing she is. She is able to get me in so fast and every time I hand her a new Pinterest photo she pulls it off and makes them look like they are off of Instagram. I will never go anywhere else!!

Asked for dip powder and they put acrylic AND 6 layers of gel on my nails, they are still so painful a day later. They charged me $105 + tip for (incl basic pedi)! Asked for a full refund but they would only “fix” them. Turns out the girl who tried fixing them the best that she could DOESN’T EVEN WORK AT THE SALON!!!!! I paid them for a customer to do their job!!

The first time i came here Peter did my nails and i will never go to anyone else. i have had my nails done religiously for at least 12 years and i am very particular about shape length and every little detail and rarely do i leave a nail place satisfied but Peter really takes his time. every single nail is the same shape and length. i leave completely satisfied with my nails. my last set lasted me 6 weeks!!!! no chipping and i still was receiving compliments. this is quality work. highly recommend Peter personally to do your nails. he’s incredible!!!

Called ahead of my visit told me to come in 20mins..asked if they could provide a specific service they said yes. I got there, and I was told to wait for 30more mins.when it was time to do my nails the lady asked again what I wanted I explained the same thing as I did over the phone and she rudely said they don’t do the style I wanted and that I should do something else. Never coming back here, was a complete waste of my time. They are way too busy to pay attention to the needs of their clients

The first time I visited this place I was majorly disappointed. The woman who did my nails kept trying to upsell me to a different form of manicure but was like pulling teeth to get the price tag out of her. She did a terrible job btw... the fake nails she added were the wrong size and my nails were so thick and looked like I had tried to give myself a set of acrylics.At this same time I also got a pedicure, this was nothing special but a different woman took care of my pedicure and she was very kind and nice and did a good job so no complaints there.I went back this week as I thought Id give them a second chance, and Im really glad I did. A got a brand new set of nails put on and I have to say they look incredible. The attention to detail when it came to making sure they look and feel natural was really great, Im very happy with how they turned out. I hope to see this level of service continue next time I return.

Not sure how this place earns any stars at all. We booked this place for our moms birthday last month and the service we received was terrible. There were 5 of us - we all had different nail techs that did a poor job.The guy that did my nails was extremely slow - what should have been a quick mani with regular polish took 1.5 hours, excluding wait time. He also didnt realize that my previous gel polish mani was done on my REAL nails. So he filed my REAL nails down SO thin, that theyre all breaking now. He filed my nails down SO short without asking me what length I wanted them, until it was too late. There was also a huge language barrier, which made it impossible to communicate with him.My sis in laws nail dip mani was also terrible - the guy who did her mani was clearly unskilled at this and should have passed the job onto someone else - given the fact that they had about 20 workers there that day. They ended up giving her a $10 discount, when in my opinion, they should have comped that service. She was stuck with a bad nail mani for over two weeks! Unacceptable for a salon that claims to be luxurious.We also called in advance and asked to be seated together, (youd think salons would know that if a group is booking together, they probably want their services done TOGETHER) - and the owner over and over assured us on the phone that wed be seated together for our services. This did not happen on the day of. We were all split up and finished at different times - this is due to bad time management and poor scheduling skills. Upon the check out, the young guy who seemed to be running the place apologized and blamed the scheduling conflict on the owner... (we thought he was the owner...? Weird). This ruined the experience for us, not to mention the poor quality we ALL received on our nails.Will never return here again. Unprofessional and not sure why they claim to be a luxury salon when they are clearly not. Also not sanitary - nail techs using the same tools for different clients. Gross.

Waited 20 minutes past my pre-booked appointment time to receive mediocre and unsanitary dip manicure. My cuticles are now cut up and sore and the nails themselves look like blobs. There are bumps and gouges that she told me would go away after washing my hands (they didn’t) and have already started chipping 12 hours after my service. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was my first visit, but I will definitely not be returning unless it is for a refund.

My nails look bad, and I spent $155 at this spa.While I understand Friday is a busy day, I expected to be treated with much more value than I was.Jackie was absolutely all over the place today. Taking phone calls, texting and stepping away from doing my set to work on someone else’s set - Multiple times!I didn’t appreciate it at all and highly disappointed because it’s a very beautiful spa but the experience was less than mediocre. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I drive over an hour to come to Luxer for a pedicure and won’t ever go anywhere else again! Kayla is especially amazing! Their services are above and beyond any other nail salon I’ve gone to with the variety of different exfoliant, hot stone massage, hot towels, oh and I just found out they offer wine too! This place is the absolute best!

They rushed me out of there, normally you get a massage on ur foot, they didn’t even put lotion when they finished. Will not be coming back.

The lady cut my finger open 2 times with her nail file and proceeded to take the nail glue and glue the cut together. then switched me to a different lady who painted them terribly. it looks like i did them myself and i still paid $60 for it.

I usually go to the nail salon in Maplewood mall, but this one was closer to my house and it’s new so I thought I’d give it a try. I regret it. I usually get acrylics. My nails came out okay, somewhat crooked, but NOT worth $60! Plus tip. The other nail salon only pays $45 and they do a way better job! My other two friend’s nails were horrendous. Sloppy and way too rough, they ended up with cuts and sore nails and it came out nothing like the picture they showed for reference. Only think I liked was the interior design.

Technicians should nit be in n their cell phones while working with clients.

I made an appointment at Noon for a pedicure.Upon arrival I was greeted and brought to the chair to begin soaking my feet. The water was cold to start.Then, the individual that was assigned to do my pedicure had her barefoot young son -three years old maybe– on a chair next to her with a phone as a distraction. He became bored and started messing with a bin filled with her nail products and ultimately put nail glue in his mouth. She then needed to address that and prevent him from throwing up (he started gagging near my feet). She left to wash his mouth out and get him settled into a different chair with his blanket in a bottle. None of the other employees seem phased by having the child there. I understand the delicate issues between work and daycare right now, but this was highly unprofessional and very disruptive. Plus, how dangerous for this little guy! (The “babysitting” continued throughout my pedicure).Additionally, the other employees could be found laying across the furniture, feet up on side tables while on their phones, holding conversations with others on their phone via speakerphone, and yelling across the salon from the back door to the front door speaking in their native tongue - it was loud and very disruptive and didn’t embody a professional business.Further, there was no place to put my bag, so I had to put it on on the floor which was covered in hair.Upon departure and payment the manager was not wearing a mask. I would not recommend this establishment!!I paid $60 for a gel pedicure. No thank you!

Very nice!! Service was fantastic, the ladies are so sweeet. They offer free beverages (I had a delicious sparkling juice) my gel pedicure turned out beautiful. I opted for a detox pedi they have many choices. Go relax and enjoy yourself at LUXER! The most gel colors Ive ever seen, and great massage chairs. They even do waxing and lash extensions!

Nail tech Jackie was in a rush and provided poor quality services. After I told her what the problem was she stated she shouldn’t have taken me as a customer. Find another nail salon to get your nails done. This isn’t the place.

When i went last week or so there was no price list, we were rushed as well as poor services. when i got my acrylic on the lady didn’t fix my cuticles and the nails were different sizes. i just want to know how two gel pedicures and one gel manicure and one acrylic set was 200$? now my friends gel on her nails cracked and peeled and my acrylic nails started to pop off and it messed up my nail bed. never again.

The salon is beautiful and very stylish. I got a manicure and a pedicure. Paid $50 for a special pedicure since I have dry skin. The lady rushed through it and my feet are not soft and smooth like they should be. The lady doing my manicure clipped my skin leaving me with a red mark. I cant say that I would go back. I picked this place because it was close to my place of work, and I had time to kill before picking a friend up at the airport.

I dropped off my 15 year daughter and her friend for gel manicures. I paid ahead of time and left a $7 tip for each manicurist. The girls where in and out in 20 minutes. My daughters skin was cut, she has polish on her skin and her girlfriend didn’t get the polish she asked for at all. There was nothing good about this experience and we won’t be back. There’s plenty of better salons in the maple grove and surrounding area.

Went here for dip nail and was told no one knew how to do dip powder nails after they started to remove my current set. I should have bee.told they do not offer the service before re
