I called ahead to see if my 3 year old daughter and I could come in for pedicures. No problem, we were able to get in. We washed our hands as soon as we got into the salon and as I was taking my daughters shoes off to sit in the chair, one of the ladies (perhaps the owner) asked me to put a mask on my daughter. I declined and was going to leave. According to the WHO, masks are not required for children under the age of 5. Her public school doesn’t even required her to wear one. The only time she has been required to wear one was on the airplane and even then, they were lenient. Anyways, they chatted amongst themselves and said we could stay. This was my daughters first pedicure and we were going to get them at the same time, two separate chairs. My daughter was terrified and didn’t want to sit by herself. She sat with me and warmed up quickly. The lady who didn’t end up getting to do my daughters pedicure abruptly drained the water as if she was irritated and went into the back room where she stayed majority of the time while we were there. I didn’t really feel welcomed after that. The lady who did ours was friendly; however, the final result of the gel wasn’t satisfactory which I didn’t notice until we got home. It looks like my toenails have already grown out significantly, couple dings/smudges, and some of the gel was leftover on a few of my toes. Such a bummer for the price. My daughters pedicure was $30 (regular polish with a design). I was quoted $23 on the phone without the design. I had no idea the simple flowers (one looks like a blob of white paint with two specks of orange) on her tiny toenails were going to be an extra $7, not $5. I guess that’s my fault for assuming it would be $5; it states on the price list that designs start at $5. I understand it’s only two dollars, but that’s beside the point. My pedicure was $45 plus $13 for gel, so $88 (+ tip) total for the both of us. At the end of the day, my daughter ended up enjoying it and that’s all that truly matters.

Jennifer was doing my nails when a client called with a complaint. She listened patiently, without interrupting, then said she was sorry the client had an issue with them, and that she would be happy to fix the problem. Client said she wanted to come at 4:30, and Jennifer politely explained that they were already booked at that time, but offered her 5:15 or 5:30. Client indicated that wouldn’t work for her, so Jennifer offered her THREE other times earlier than 4:30. Jennifer was amazingly polite and professional during the entire call, repeatedly telling her she would be happy to fix the lady’s nails! Instead of accepting Jennifer’s apologies and offers of FIVE different times to come that same day, the client chose to write a nasty review. Jennifer handled herself with dignity and class - too bad the client had neither.

My daughter and I had appointments at the same time for pedicures but my daughter was 10 minutes into her pedicure before the girl doing my pedicure started on me. She was with another customer at the time of our appointment. Time management needs to be better.My daughters pedicure was much more involved than mine. More attention to detail, more everything. Her massage was longer, the clay mask went up her calves, mine did not, her feet were buffed in between, and on top of, her toes, mine were not, etc.If you want good service, ask for Happy, the gentleman that worked on my daughter. I would only go back if my appointment was with him.

Sonnys is a great nail salon. Lots of nail techs, very rarely a wait more than 5 minutes. Clean and quality services. The thing that stands out is the women that work here are sweet and kind! Almost feels like family!

Wonderful experience! I did a first time walk in on a Friday afternoon (which was busy) and they still squeezed me in within 20 minutes. The technician was experienced, friendly, and my nails turned out beautifully! I also paid the same price for a gel set and a hand painted design that I paid for a basic set at another shop just weeks prior...way better value here. Sonny Nails is a great place to have your nails done. I just had Gel polish on my finger nails and also had a pedicure. The salon area is spotless very clean. No television to distract from the relaxing soft calming music in the back ground. The staff is friendly and courteous. The prices are very reasonable. The best nail salon I’ve been to. Super clean and spa-like environment. I had my nails done by Ann and I’ve never felt so welcomed into a salon. She got me something to drink as I sat down and took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. I didn’t feel as if I was being rushed so they could move on to the next customer like most places I’ve been to.

Worst customer service. Not on time when you schedule but don’t like walk ins. I thought I would give them a try but they just suck. Never once have they offered me water but offer all their other customers a drink. They charge way too much for a crappy job. I just left for a fill in and paid 43 dollars for crappy nails. I wish I could show a picture of my have squared half rounded nails. I will not be going back

I love Sonny Nails, they are very polite and they make conversation with you and make you feel very welcome there. The prices are reasonable and and the nail techs are great at there work and it’s a very clean space when you walk in, I strongly recommend Sonny Nails.

Today was my first experience with Sonny Nails. I needed a gel manicure and was able to be seen fairly quick without an appointment. Overall staff was friendly, but unfortunately, I am less than satisfied with my gel mainure. The technician asked if I wanted my nails cut down at all and I declined and opted for just filing being that I had had a gel manicure at another shop about 2 weeks prior, so the shape of the nails was still in good shape. Upon shaping the first hand, the technician filed off the edge/corner of two nails pretty drastically. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, a woman that I assume is the manager, explained the tech had to shape that way to avoid breakage of the nail. At no point was this conveyed prior to filing the nails or upon shaping them. The manager then suggested I wait a couple weeks and return for them to be reshaped. I received a 10% discount for it being my first time in, but there was no compensation for ruining the shape of the nails on the one hand. I will not be returning and hope that they take this as a learning opportunity to properly inform the customer of their intentions when shaping/filing nails. I would have preferred that the technician express her concern for the nail breaking and cut them down a bit instead.

I have been here twice and I am the picked person I know when It comes to my nails. Both times I have gone I have absolutely loved me nails and after just one time of going they already knew my name. This place is great and is definitely my new nail place.

I went in for a pedicure. When asked if I wanted designs on my toes, I denied respectfully only for the lady to put flowers on them AND I was charged as well. I was dumbfounded. The day after, my nails chipped. I would not suggest having nails done by a particular employee here.

Do not go here.. they were very rude to me and my sisters and niece. They added one $30 worth of services without telling me (they charged me another $10 extra dollars because “my cuticles were bad”). They kept rolling their eyes and acted annoyed. Very nice people. When I ask them not to cut my nails because I did, they did anyways. When I asked they just paint my daughters nails, they proceeded to file and use their tools under her nails (this I did not want). My polish is on the middle of my nails and not on the outsides. I had to re-enter because one nail came off (we got gel polish) and she seemed irritated... it was so clumped around my nails on my skin from the 5 applications of gel polish she did.. I will NOT return and take my $126 elsewhere

They were nice except the one woman I had doing my nails. She was very sloppy and careless and the prices magically ending up way more then the menu said. The nails are crookedly filed and the polish job was uneven on almost all my nails. The other nail techs were very nice but the one I had did unfortunately disappoint me.

I have been getting my pedicures here on and off for years I went today for a mani(buffed) and pedi and it was excellent. I had a gentleman technician named Happy, he is very nice and did a very good job on my toes and was extra careful with my broken baby toe! I will go back and see Happy for my next mani pedi .

Dont go here. Especially the man who works here is very slimy and greedy. They will manipulate you to spend more money without making you aware. They dont care if your nails look good cause they know you will have to pay anyways.

We were here for a pedi and mani. A reviewer several months ago commented that the salon wasnt hygenic- gloves were reused and stained, tools werent in sanitized pouches, no pedi bowl liners, etc. Recent reviews seemed better, so we decided to try them. An unfortunate decision. I noticed my technicians gloves were also ripped and yellowed-clearly reused several times, and none of the tools were freshly sanitized either. I liked the design that was done, but the polish was sloppy and edges not cleaned up. Overall, we wont go back. Just knowing that sanitation is a low priority for them, completely turned us off. And a box of gloves is less than $10 at Wal-Mart, so that shows either lack of care for the customer, or cheapness by the management. Either way, we deserve better.

Best place EVER for manicures- pedicures

Don’t go here. Save your money. Halfway through getting my nails done(Acrylics) they told me it would be $55 instead of the $28 that was on the sign. It was super unclear why they charged me double what it was supposed to be and when I asked they just got angry. The finished product wasn’t that great either. Instead of the nail curving in like normal it goes upwards from my nail bed and looks super lumpy. The shape is super weird as well. Theres more too! The hygiene there is gross!! Her gloves were yellowed and ripped and we’re used many times, obviously. Her tools were stored in an old mints container and were not sanitized. The towel that I put my hands on while she was painting them was dirty and even had hair on it. I will never be coming back here and I hope you don’t either. Total scam.
