I enjoyed getting my mani and pedi here. Everyone was nice and welcoming. It’s a clean space with safe covid precautions in place. Really enjoyed my pedi massage, I needed that after a long work week. It was a Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend when most nail salons were super busy. This was the third salon I called and they could take me in five minutes even though they were busy too. I walked in and got service immediately. Jenny/Thuong, my technician, was attentive and regularly checked to see how I was feeling/reacting. She did a great job with my nails. Highly recommend this salon!

People should be giving reviews on the technicians not the store it’s self.“My” technician “My” has done an excellent job attending to my needs. My manicures are beautiful and my pedicures are amazing. BUT PLEASE don’t go see her I want her to myself!

I have been going here for the past three years and it is amazing. I get acrylics every time and they are flawless. They have never once broke and I used to play basketball with them on. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. They always take their time and do a great job. This is the only place I trust my nails with

The deluxe pedicure was great! At my age my toenails are hard and my calluses are thick. A hot soak and the right lotions enabled the manicurist to take care of everything. Staff was friendly, engaging and thorough. The massage chairs do a great job.

I went here to get a fill the lady told me that I needed a whole new set, I know I didn’t need one I just wanted a fill and then the charged me 5 dollars extra for “long nails” and they aren’t even long, told me that their 10 dollar extra gel powder was the best yet two of my nails broke 2 days later. All my nails are a different shape I would not recommend this place pure disappointment. I also left with my cuticles all cut up and bleeding.

I went in to get acrylic and I got the guy there he cut me with the drill, made my nails bubbly, also talked about me to the other nail tech. I called them today bc they broke off after a couple days and the manager kept talking over me and said I needed proof I told her I took them off bc i’m not gonna have broken nails she said I could come in to fix them even though I told her I had to take them all off bc they kept breaking off really easily. I do NOT RECOMMEND this place at all!

My daughter and her friend went in to get acrylic nails and a pedicure. My daughters friend asked for multiple colors and was told there was no extra charge. They charged $10.00 extra and wouldnt honor the price given by their nail technician. Terrible customer service.

I’m only giving this place a two because in the end my nails did turn out cute and the customer service was nice but the rest of my experience was not. They guy that did my nails made me bleed on almost every one of my fingers, cuticles and underneath my nails while he used the electric and nail files. Also, my nails turned out very thin and only last two days before two of them broke off. Not to mention this was the most expensive nail place that I’ve been to in my area for an acrylic set. Can’t say that I will be coming back here.

I asked about a simple flame design and the technician said she could do it, but it was a very poor job. She spent very little time on the flames, and the nails were uneven and badly shaped. She got glue on my fingers and even glued my skin to my nails in a couple spots. I will not be going back!

No routine consistency . Some get hand massages others dont. 1 person in our party nails were left to long. Confused in how each persons bill came out. Should have board up stating what they offer & prices.

So I usually never have a problem with this place but after my last visit I’m scared to get my nails done. I got the guy this particular time I went and I asked for a pretty specific design and it did not come out at all like what I asked for and showed. That was not my biggest concern though, when he glued on the tips he got glue on the top of my fingers and when that happens the nail ladies just push it back with their nails but this guy not only did that but took a pointy drill and started to drop in between my nails and skin (to say I was in pain is an understatement) he made me bleed a couple of times and while this is all happening I can’t hold back the tears so I’m streaming in tears with a runny nose and he doesn’t even notice. After it was over I could barely use my hands cause they hurt so much and he made me pay 65 dollars for it.

My favorite nail salon in the area. They always do such a good job. Everyone who works there does a great job. Def my go to place and I def recommend.

Horrible nail technicians, constantly cutting and burning with nail acrylic. Could not do a simple French tip correctly and cleanly shaped. Charged me $60 for doing a horrible job. Would not recommend. Nail technicians were also fighting with each other. If you want a good nail place, go to Lynn’s nails in Brooklyn park. This place is not worth anyone’s time, complete and utter rubbish

We decide to give Peony Nails a try and I am so disappointed that I wasted my money! I have bubbles and lumps on 4 nails. The nail tech kept telling me not to move and when I mentioned the bumps and lumps he told me I did it. Not true! I have been getting dips for years and know how to not bump my nails. He used so many tools which is not the normal. I was never asked what length I wanted and the shaping is awful. What a waste of time and money.

They do really good nails, and they make you feel welcomed.

I have been coming here on and off for over 8 years now. That ends today. I normally am really easy going and don’t get upset or give negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to do that. The entire situation is way to long to type online, but I will briefly explain my frustrations. They were extremely rude, to the point where my friend and I got up and left and didn’t finish our service. We decided to go across the street to Sonny Nails instead to receive the rest of our services. The guy who was doing my nails kept yelling at me to sit still when I wasn’t moving at all. I’m a little ticklish but I wasn’t moving to the extent he made it out to be. After that he just continued to have a major attitude with me and talked about my friend and I when we were sitting right there. It was like this the last time I came in as well, but I didn’t make a big deal out of it because I figured maybe it was just one of those days. I will no longer be going here, or referring people to come here. I am paying YOU for a service and you have the nerve to be extremely disrespectful and rip me off. Especially to people who were very polite to begin with. Awful. Will never ever return. The only person there who is worth seeing is Mai. Other than that I do not recommend this place.

I must say that I have been getting my nails done for 17 years consecutively when no brake and I have become very particular about my nails. For the first time I visited Kevin and he was able to completely redo my nails and make them on point my toes and my fingernails look absolutely amazing. From the customer service to the price and the details this shop is by far amazing. I am definitely replaced the shop Ive been going to for the last 12 years after one visit of visiting Kevin

This place is a flat out dumpster fire.My daughter got her nails done and like the MANY OTHER reviews here, was treated rudely. On top of the unfriendly and unwelcoming atmosphere, the staff placed her purse next to a candle, which literally burned her purse. Fine, accidents happen right? However when she questioned the damage to the purse, they were extremely rude and refused to do anything about it. When I followed up to ask for them to pay for the damage, all they wanted to do is debate it and make excuses. After grudgingly agreeing to pay for the damage, I THANKED THEM and was promptly hung up on!Do not waste your time or money with this place!There are plenty of other respectful business owners in Maple Grove who provide great service with a smile on their face and actually appreciate and treat you like a valued customer.

I have been here a few times and seen Heidi she is great! Today I went in and never had a more painful experience in my life. I have high skin growth under my nails and so I always worn people to be careful because it’s my skin and it hurts when the file touches it. Well today it felt the guy tried burning my skin off and kept telling me to stay still. I complained of pain multiple times and he proceeded to do it about 5 times. After I pulled away and said I can’t handle the pain I feel as though he was irritated. I wanted nothing more then to get the heck out of there. I will never go back EVER. I am so upset and so much in pain. Not to mention I have polish on my hand and bubbles in the polish. Just awful!

I was referred here by someone and I figured I’d try it out. I’m extremely picky about my nails and I’m pretty disappointed with my nails and mad that I even spent the $60. I got a full set and it turned Okay at best. Not all the nails are the same length and the shape wasn’t done very well. The gel polish is uneven and there’s thick pieces of acrylic dried to the under side of my nails. Not to mention, the nail tech cut my finger open with a nail file.Heidi is really sweet, but if I could go back in time.... I would have never wasted my time or money in this place.

Ive been coming to this store for years. Since its sale to a new owner Ive been disappointed multiple times and will not be going back. Walk-ins are no longer welcome as I was reprimanded the last time I came in without an appointment. Ive seen the employees get frustrated with the customers multiple times -myself included on at least three different occasions and its pretty uncomfortable honestly.

Not a good experience, I won’t be going back. From the moment I walked in, they rushed me. They rushed me to pick out a nail color, which I hate. Didn’t even give me 3 minutes to pick a color. Then he urged me to do a dip manicure instead of a gel (more expensive) which ended up being terrible. It looked chunky and thick at the end. Overall a stressful and negative experience.

The best pedicure Ive ever had! Everyone here is so nice! They did a great job and the paraffin wax on your feet is fantastic. This is a long ways from my homebut I will drive here anyways because the service and quality are worth it!😊

I walked in with no appointment, on a Sunday yet, because Id made a mess of my do-it-yourself job the night before. They couldnt have been more welcoming. I went in for a basic manicure, and they did not try at all to upsell me. But I asked questions about gels, they explained and I decided to try it.The mother began and was efficient, friendly, and very much a perfectionist. The daughter finished up with the topcoat stage, and she was just as nice. They were SO pleasant and friendly, and I am thrilled with the job that they did. I was also impressed with the number of options they had -- not only in style (gels, acrylics, standard) but with the plethora of colors they offered.I will definitely go back! They did a lovely job!

My daughter and I needed to get our nails done so we decided to stop at this place. We walk in and got in. I went with Vicky and my daughter went with Chi. Vicky asked if I wanted my nails shorter and I said not really just a clean up. She decided she thought they needed to be way shorter. Then I told her they were too short and Vicky said they were fine. I told her I wanted my nails squared and slightly rounded on the corners. Well Vicky decided she didnt want to shape them like that and did what she wanted. They were horrible. When she completed all the nails she asked if I liked them and I said no thats not what I wanted. Again Vicky did what she wanted. The manager did absolutely nothing about it!!! Now Chi did a full set on my daughter and she did a great job! She was really good with her and did exactly what my daughter wanted. I will NEVER come back or recommend this place at all. Chi was awesome though!! Thanks Chi!!

I got acrylic nails done I thought they were gonna be around $45 but they ended up somehow being $60 and I had to fix it when I got home and part of the nail broke off and I had to supper glue it that same day and they chipped right away. I went back to get some of my money back and have me fixed but they only gave me five dollars back to use there again and only fixed two of my nails...

Wonderful service from Chi. She listened and followed directions exactly how I wanted my nails! My gel polish lasted two weeks which usually dont at other salons. It looked like there were plenty of staff members around in the afternoon if you needed to do a walk-in. The salon was also clean and nicely decorated. I am definitely using this as my go-to salon.

Favorite place to get my pedicures done around twin cities, I always do the gel and it stays on for a month if I want it to. I usually go in before then to change up the color. Pretty clean, and I personally love the cherry blossom lotion smell, mmmm.

Great nails of all types for 3 + years! Everything from pedis to gel or acrylic, they always do a good job. Clean place and friendly service. There are a few people who are just better at certain processes or shapes etc but overall everyone there is great! They are always friendly if I ask them to redo or change something, although Ive only asked a few times in over 3 years.

Staff was ready when we arrived and took very good care of us. Great attention to detail. Very satisfied!

I go to Peony Nail every few weeks and have a manicure with Heidi. She always does a phenomenal job!

Very sad not to give this place five stars after being recommended to go here and loving the experience! I got a hot stone pedicure which I will still recommend the food treatment to anyone but the polish they used did not stay very well at all. My pinky toes chipped off in less than a week and I was disappointed that I paid so much for something that did not last long.

This nail salon doesnt even deserve a star. I had stopped in on my way home from work for a full acrylic set. I was told to pick a nail polish and as I was deciding, two ladies starting up selling me to do gel nails because its so much better for you. I told them no at least 3 times but she insisted and rushed me to to sit on the chair and wait before even picking my color. She comes and sits down and hands the gel nail polish colors. Im beyond irritated at this point so I give in and pick a mauve pink gel color ($10 more). I asked for my nails to be a filed a little narrower on top. Well apparently thats an additional $5 (I have NEVER been charged extra for a nail shape, filing my nails is part of the job). Then comes the color, she puts on the first coat and its literally clear. I asked her to do a few more coats because it looked NOTHING like the sample nail. The manager comes over and tells me its just the color of my own nail making it that way - what a complete joke. After arguing with her about the color, 3 employees starting bantering in their language and the lady who was doing my nails left to go do someone elses pedicure and I had a completely new person doing my nails. I cannot believe how unprofessional this nail salon is. My nails are uneven and theres chunks of the acrylic on the inside of the nail. Even the application of the polish is horrid, she didnt paint all the way to the sides. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I paid $45 for garbage nails that I will be having removed.

I am so disappointed! Had terrible service, the nail tech was very rude to me, and would not listen to my wishes. I left very unhappy and sat in my car and cried after I had to pay $40. Each of my nails has a different thickness of gel powder on them. There is no shape to my nails they are completely flat. The gel polish is put on very sloppy.........there are portions of the polish super thick and then goes to very thin. The polish is not even all the way to sides of my nails. My nails were filed so terribly you can clearly see the noticeable differences. In 26 years of having acrylic/gel nails I have never been so unhappy!

I have always loved coming here! Ive been a customer for over 5 years!! I always feel taken care of and they do an amazing job every time. I moved much further south but still make the drive up to come here as Ive always been disappointed by other nail salons.

Im their big fan! Got gel mani and spa pedi for my vacation n 2 weeks later, my nails look still beautiful n shiny. No matter how many active I attended, my gel looked still great. I have to say thank you this shop by giving them a good star and introduce to my friends. They have a good job, great atmosphere, ideal place to pamper.

First time going to peony nails and I wouldnt go back. I got a gel manicure and not only was it extremely rushed but I walked out with 6 bleeding nails. I had the clear gel coat all over my skin because I was so rushed and my cuticles were in pain the entire day. No discount given even after making me bleed. Also the second I walked in someone was trying to explain how I should get gel polish and trying to upcharge me to get cuticle oil bc my hand were dry? Never have I ever had to pay more to get the lotion/oil. At that point I was just annoyed and wanted to be left alone so I could get in and out of there.

I have done my nails for years with the same girl and after she quit I have tried so many different places and people and was not happy. My friend recommend Peony Nails to me and told me that Fabio does an amazing job. I gave it a try today and OMG Im in love with my nails. Its 6 been a very long time since my nails look this good. Not only Fabio did Fabulous job on my nails he was really funny and quite entertaining. Loved the friendly environment and being able to sit down and relax, rather being tense and worry to make sure they do a decent job. Ladies you never know what an awesome nail experience is untill you give Fabio at Peony Nails a try! Definitely will be telling everyone I know and I can now relax since I finally found what I was looking for! Im a verry happy girl. Thank you Fabio again for the Awesome experience and a good laugh!

I stopped by for a quick regular pedi and mani for the first time today. The upselling started the moment I walked in and continued the WHOLE time. I had to constantly say no,, including saying no to the same service MULTIPLE times. The manicurist seemed put off by my saying no-and was somewhat argumentative about it. It was an awful experience-bordering on shear unbelievably . At the end, when the (apparent) manager asked me how my experience was, I told her that in all honestly it wasnt great, and that the continual upselling was very unpleasant. Her response was that shed give the manicurist that feed back. This is NOT a very good customer service response, considering how many choices there are for this service in a very close proximity. As an aside, the quality of the mani/pedi is not great- (Ive never had my toes or nails painted so fast) and Ive never paid so much (and yes I still -regrettably- tipped). I would NOT recommend this nail salon to anyone.

Went in here to do my nails. I stated clearly what I wanted. Apparently the person didn’t get what I was saying. I complained about pain he said it will go away. I have glue all over my hands. I had a pedicure too. I said I didn’t want a massage on my legs. He still proceeded to do it. And getting lotion on my hands costs extra $5. Terrible service just terrible. I will not return to this place ever again. Service sucks and don’t listen to what you want only want money. Please don’t go here.

I have been following Anne around from way back in the Brookdale shopping mall, followed her to the nail shop inside the Walmart in Maple Grove, now her own shop!!I love this place and so does my husband for The Hot Stone Pedicure try it out!!

Im only giving them one star for the prices. The lady who did my nails kept trying to upsell to me the entire time and did a really crappy job. It took four hours until my nails were kind of dry and the next day, two of them broke because they were so thin. Arent acrylic nails suppose to last two weeks? They look like crap and Im never going here again.

Got a pedicure and I have paint all over the sides of my toes and nails, have nails that arent fully covered with polish as well. Looks like a small child painted them for me.

My sister was basically assaulted in their store by a man and the staff that worked there just sat there and said nothing. Didnt offer to help or ask the man to leave. We had to leave and then call the cops. Really disappointed in the staff/ownership.
