My husband and I chose to have our wedding at the Madison Club and were not disappointed. The venue was gorgeous, set up exactly as we imagined, and our day went off without a hitch. When we had to postpone the wedding due to COVID, they were so flexible and made changing our date less stressful. Leanne and her staff were wonderful to work with and made sure our day was perfect. I had several guests comment about how smooth and unobtrusive the service was during and after dinner and we received many compliments about the food, the cake, and the late night snacks. Their pastry chef, Judith, made the most beautiful cake and even went above and beyond to make a gluten and dairy free cake for some of our guests with dietary needs. The whole evening was perfect and Id highly recommend the Madison Club for your wedding or other large event.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for Leanne and the whole Madison Club staff! They are nothing short of fabulous. We hosted our multiple- postponed wedding there recently, and it was THE best experience. They worked with us continuously over the last year to make this event happen, and it went off without a hitch. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was just what we wanted, Leanne and Alex, and the whole team really made it a night to remember for the rest of our lives. Went here for a wedding and it was gorgeous. The Madison Club catered, provided the bar, set up a dance area, etc... I had steak during this event and it was a perfect medium rare, with fingerling potatoes. Subtracting one star because it took them well into the night to get some coffee out there and oh man, did I need it.

The Madison Club offers dining options from outdoors with a view of Lake Monona and Monona Terrace, to Churchills with an upscale more elegant vibe and great view, to the Lower level with Five East offering casual dining in a cozy attractive setting. The food is excellent and unique, and David is one of the best bartenders in Madison. Great cocktails from the traditional to the unusual. With the new look for the first floor, it is really stunning. Not the usual commercial neutral look of most clubs.

Great drinks and service at Churchills

Phenomenal bar staff. Brett is extremely knowledgeable about the cocktails and spirits they have, and held amazing conversation for my entire stay. The steak was the best Ive had in Madison. I couldnt find a negative thing to say about the establishment if I tried. 10/10. Dont change a thing.

Churchill Room is a beautiful, QUIET setting; attentive service; excellent food. My only quibble is minor: my red wine was served at warmer than room temp, diminishing my enjoyment of an otherwise nice Montepulciano. Members only, so if not a member, find one to host you.

We first heard of The Madison Club when we were on a tour of buildings in downtown Madison. While touring the Madison Club we were able to see the amazing view of Lake Monona from the dining room known as Churchills Restaurant. We also visited the courtyard and lounge known as The Tap Room where we were able to peek at their menu.

I attended a dinner at the Madison Club with a group of speakers for a professional organization. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was outstanding.We ate in the second floor Terrace Room. The view over the lake was great except for the building directly on the waterfront. The room was tastefully finished and furnished. Everything we needed was conveniently available for us.Dinner there with friends was excellent!

Im an event planner (Spirit & Style Events) and I recently did a wedding at The Madison Club. The staff SO amazing. Id highly recommend getting married here. I love how it is a team effort throughout the whole day. I would like to especially say thank you to Sarah (catering) who was such a joy to work with, so kind, and so flexible in every possible way. She was so very kind and just a wonderful person to connect with. The entire staff (especially Martin) was so amazing too! They were willing to help and we worked together to create pure perfection! Emily was also a glowing example of amazing customer service. Her personality is so vibrant and she really respects her role in creating top notch weddings. Im so impressed with the staff. Emily Bowen is the kind of coordinator that you hope for when youre looking for a go to person to organize all of the details and she delivered in exemplary fashion. Emily relieved me of much of the planning anxiety that naturally occurs. She was always available and easy to reach to answer questions and explore ideas. It was clear that she cared as much about a Madison Club experience for our guests as we did and she came through like the champion planner that she is. The same goes for the staff the night of our wedding. Collectively, they created a truly magical experience. The service is exceptional, cuisine is 5 Star and the cake designed for us belongs on the cover of a magazine. The Madison Club is a storybook setting in the perfect location, steps from everything beautiful Madison has to offer. In one word, The Madison Club is Perfection.

My (now) wife and I recently got married at the Madison Club. We worked closely with Emily for a handful of months in advance and she was absolutely fantastic! She was on top of everything, made us feel very comfortable and relaxed, and worked hard to make the day absolutely perfect. The rest of the Madison Club team was incredible as well. The whole day was perfect - food, drinks, decor, everything. We couldnt have had our wedding at a better venue and highly recommend the Madison Club to all. Very reasonably priced as well compared to many other venues downtown Madison.

Great location, awesome food, very friendly and courteous staff. I have been here for events of others and for events of my own. The staff doesnt miss any detail and they are willing to adapt to anything you need or want.

We were so well taken care of - dietary restrictions and all! What a wonderful experience. This was my first time at the Madison Club. Went with my husband and his coworkers before heading to the Overture Center for the Frostiball. Great way to kick off the formal evening. The atmosphere was beautiful. What I was most blown away by was the accommodations the chef and sous chef were willing to make for my current dietary restrictions. I contacted the restaurant ahead of time and they offered to create special courses that fit my current restrictive list of foods. That way I didnt have to feel singled out or demanding when ordering. I would certainly recommend this experience to anyone - with or without special dietary needs.

I was extremely happy we chose Madison Club for my only daughters wedding. Emily was very responsive and easy to work with. Guests complimented us on the beautiful venue and delicious entrees. The dinner service was orchestrated seamlessly, just as expected. I was so thankful for the extra effort of setting up of the candles, paper lace, family photos and scattered chocolates as well as wrapping up these items. We were able to focus on our guests and celebrating.My we had other options available to us, the Monona Terrace and the Madison Public Library, but are grateful we chose to have the reception here. Less coordination on our part, less knit picking pricing and far less last minute running around set up the venue. The costs were comparable; MC was a very good value.Chandeliers and fireplace, secluded garden patio, a spectacular view and classic club bar, what more could we ask for. Madison Club was the site of our daughters wedding and I recommend highly. Beautiful venue, outstanding (!!!) food, everything managed professionally by Emily Bowen and staff. They made thoughtful suggestions, accepted our ideas enthusiastically, guided us with grace and let nothing fall between the cracks. Stayed on top of the budget. A fabulous experience.

The newly renovated facility was a wonderful setting for our daughter’s wedding reception. Julieanne is the perfect wedding planner there whose eye for and attention to details was appreciated. From the tuning of the piano to the choice of colors for the table decorations, she was so helpful and gracious.

Wonderful service, friendly staff, and exquisite food. Our friends had a pass for us since we are not members of the club. We celebrated an engagement at brunch and all of our dishes were delectable and reasonably priced.

This is a members only venue that had excellent wait staff, and a spacious dining/meeting hall that will accommodate about 100 diners. It had a very nice ambiance, and its right downtown within walking distance from everything.

Great wait staff! Very accomodating. Do wish theyd rotate their menu more. Often food is a bit too salty, but usually beautiful and tasty no less.

Overall, more hit than miss on my four lunches at this venue. I adored the superb Asian-themed flavors of my scallops in a coconut sauce with jalapeño peppers and pineapple, while my pulled pork sandwich was fairly pedestrian. I give high marks to the stellar servers, whose efficient management of the pace of the meal always ensured my group was able to get to our next meeting on time.

We had our reception at the Madison Club for our August 2014 wedding. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It was initially a hard decision for us to commit to the Madison Club, since you have to become a member for one year to have your wedding there, which can be expensive, in addition to the reception costs. Reflecting now, the Madison Club is worth every penny and more!The service we received working with Emily Bowen was FANTASTIC. Not only was she extremely responsive to all of our requests (email turnaround time was like 2 hours!), she was really dedicated to making our day feel like us. When she found out that our nephew, the ringbearer, liked orange soda, she made sure they had some stocked. When we asked if we could use the Madison Club for our ceremony rain back-up space, she agreed and said she would only charge us if we ended up using the space.Compared to other Madison venues, the packages they offer are quite reasonable, once all costs are considered (ex: the cake is included, which can be a couple thousand dollars elsewhere!). The venue was stunning and the people were fantastic. It didnt feel like we were just another wedding. They put so much time and effort into making our wedding really reflect us. We are so glad we went with the Madison Club!

Had decided to use the Club for our wedding venue when we were told there would be an additional non-member fee of $1,000. We feel strongly that they should have mentioned this in their guide and when we toured the facility. We were fine paying the fee but feel that their practice of not being up front with the policy is underhanded, and possible indicative of how things would have gone with the execution of our wedding, so we decided to have our wedding someplace else. Its a beautiful venue but you should be aware of this hidden policy before you decide where you want to have your wedding.

We just had our wedding at the Madison Club and the event went off without a hitch and even better than expected! The food was great, the drinks were plentiful, the decor was amazing (the team put our decorations together for us and enhanced them with even more of their own candles), etc. Our guests are still raving about the celebration two weeks later! I thoroughly enjoyed working with Emily Bowen and her team!!! She was so on top of all the details and just a pleasure to work with/get to know. I would recommend the Madison Club for any event, but especially a wedding. Attended a salon concert with hordeuvres following the concert. Needles to say it was nice. The venue is very quaint and has a lot of character. The told us that Teddy Roosevelt has been there.

If you care about kitchen staff Id never go to this joke of an establishment.... They pay their head chef 13/hr which is a joke..... Also kitchen staff isnt allowed to even step on the floor.... Seriously trash establishment.... Theres a reason most of the kitchen left to go work at a bar....

I was beyond amazed by the service and detail I experienced at The Madison Club. We hosted our wedding reception there and the space was breathtaking.I worked with Chastity to plan the event and she was incredibly organized and always excited to share my ideas with me and help transform them into reality.I am a Food Scientist as well as a foodie so the caliber of the meal was a top priority to me. I got tons of compliments on the food and I think it was the best wedding meal I have ever had. Also, as a vegetarian they let me select from any of the veggie entrees on their menu and it was a first rate dish.I would wholeheartedly recommend The Madison Club as a reception site. The service was great, the location is unbeatable and the facilities are just beautiful.Thank you again Chastity- you did a fabulous job.
