Dont ever live there. I have been living there for one year(2020-2021 academic year). I cleaned my room and living area thoroughly, and still charged me heavy fine. They will provide you damaged couch cushion when you will move in there, and then charge you heavy amount when you will move out.Dont trust them. Cheap ways to earn money from college students.

The proximity to campus was great. The office and maintenance staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are cozy and a good size for students. Unfortunately, the bug situation was so severe that I will not be renewing my lease. Having to kill roaches in the night or wake up to 3 or 4 each morning became exhausting. I heard the second and third floor did not have bugs but the first floor is infested. Maintenance was always spraying but it never seemed to stop the bugs.:(

After already getting denied the first early move-in date and having to wait till the second one, I was the first in my apartment to move in and to my disappointment my entire apartment was trashed (mind you we all have new leases, as well). As you can see from the pictures the place was not cleaned whatsoever even though they said that it would be move-in ready by the time we got there. They even had extra time to get the apartment ready and they failed to do their job in that time. It was absolutely disgusting and they just kept telling me that some parts were overlooked but it was entire apartment that got overlooked actually. There was tons of damage in the apartment and light fixtures that were out. I am very disappointed with management here and it doesn’t help that this entire summer it was problem after problem with little to no help from them. My roommates and I had to solve issues created by them that they should have fixed, but didn’t. Till now we are still having so many problem and it’s ridiculous. For how much we pay to live there and for them to act like this it is absolutely unacceptable.

Really nice and staff is friendly, manager of the property is awesome. this is probably the best place to live compared to the other student living apartments.

The 21hundred staff is wonderful! They are so helpful and are willing to do anything to make you feel safe and secure. If you ever need anything, Thais at the front desk is your go-to gal. She is patient with concerns and is willing to go above and beyond to solve problems. 10/10 would recommend 21hundred if you’re looking for excellent college living in Lubbock!

Definitely recommend living at 21hundred! Great amenities and great staff! The staff is always smiling and willing to help. Thais really takes the next step in customer service, she’s not just polite she takes the effort to be as helpful as possible and establishes friendships with her residents.

I had a great experience at 21hundred! While looking for apartments in Lubbock, this was the most promising. The amenities are new and clean, and the staff is very friendly. I specifically talked to Thais and she was awesome, she answered all of the questions I could think of and went above and beyond to make sure I liked the place!

We pay too much money a month to be dealing with this terrible WIFI. I’m having to switch between the 21HundredResident & the 5G option at least 20x a day. It’s ridiculous

Just moved in this past week, everything went incredibly smoothly. The staff was lovely, Nina was just a great help! Would definitely recommend.

Staff answered all my question perfectly, Nina was very warm and helpful. The amenities look great and property was very clean.

The apartments are really nice and comfortable. But when you complain about something that doesnt let you live (literally) they ignore you. There is a machine around the pool area that starts to sound at 4 am every night and my apartment is next to the pool. The sound is so loud that the floor shakes. Its impossible to sleep. I have complained about this for several days, sending emails, calling, and going to the office, and I havent received any answer or possible solution. Only excuses and a waste of time. I ask them to reschedule this machine to work during the day instead of the night, during the night people sleep! and no answer. This place is really expensive and couldnt receive the treatment that I am paying for, is really annoying. By the way, I complained about the same problem around 3 weeks ago and the last manager solved it, this makes me believe that the new manager or people in charge just dont care about it. But if you forget to pay the leasing on the day immediately they send you an email. I am posting my complaint through this media because I am tired of this situation and I demand a solution immediately

Called to inquire about some units the other day, great amenities, reasonable prices and a helpful staff I spoke to Nina who helped me alot. Will be signing soon.

Dont trust their referral deals or any other deals for that matter. If they feel they have an opportunity to not own up to one, they wont. Apartments are small, but nice, and maintenance people are cool.

I have lived at 21 for two years now just signed my lease for my senior year, the amenities are great, close to campus and the staff is always helpful. Nina has always answered my questions whenever I come to the office.

I never write reviews but considering all of the problems I have had with staff I believe 21 Hundred deserves a review. The apartment complex is nice and very well maintained. However, the staff has always been rude to me every time I have encountered them. They are never willing to help and majority of the staff comes off as ignorant or with a bad work ethic. I will definitely not be staying here once my lease is over.

Apartments are way overpriced for the size and conditions. When I moved in the entire kitchen and living room was absolutely filthy (leftover food in fridge, cat hair everywhere, grease stains on cabinets, dirty floor). Internet is terrible and also not a private network.

Dylan was an amazing worker! Helped me out with any problem I had, and also answered in a timely manor. I’m thankful I got to connect with him during the whole shutdown, it definitely helped my experience as a college student at Texas Tech

Currently, I am moving out and the staff wasnt helping at all. THE STAFFS ARE NOT WILLING TO HELP AT ALL!! I have questions and asked them through phone, in the end, they just hang up. Picking up packages is very difficult with all the excuses they have. Lack of good management at the office. I have to say the facilities are good but the office people are so helpless. The maintenance is always here SUPER late. IF THEIR OFFICE HAVE NEW EMPLOYEES THERE I WILL DEFINITELY RATE THIS PLACE HIGHER THAN ONE STAR!

Nina was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and patient with the million questions we had for her. We had been looking at several different properties but Nina made the decision easy. Great customer service speaks volumes and goes a long way.

I have lived here for two years and absolutely love it. Weve never had any issues with management or the unit itself. The only time Ive ever had to call maintenance was to replace a lightbulb or two, and they always came and fixed it within 24 hours. I cant recommend living here enough!

You do not want to live here. I am a non-traditional student, and have had many apartments before this one. I have never dealt with management as careless, unprofessional and unapologetic. As soon as you sign a lease they stop caring about you as a resident and move towards promoting new residents at inflated rates for the following year. The only reason their Google rating is high is because they hold promotion events with giveaways you receive raffles for by leaving reviews, following their social media, etc. 21 hundred and Americas campus has done a beautiful job promoting and marketing, but if you are looking to be cared for as a resident, have amenities kept working, and not end up with $1700 in unexpected expenses as I have been due to their incompetence, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

Very great experience! I took a tour with the leasing coordinator Kayleigh, she was very professionally, very well mannered. I come from across the state out here by myself and she made it feel at home on how comforting she is right when I step in through the door!

The leasing coordinator Kayleigh was a big help! She also helped us set up a lemonade stand for my sons baseball team at the property. It’s a beautiful property with awesome staff!

Had the best experience living here! If you have a pet, this is THE place. There’s hard wood flooring throughout the entire apartment, no carpet at all. There’s also pet stations as well as large grass areas for the dogs to run around & play with each other. The bus also comes every 3 minutes & the ride is short to campus. The maintenance team is really quick and the entire staff at 21 is very friendly. Thanks Erin for the recommendation!

Stay away. It looks nice at first and the units really are however none of the really cool amenities work! I have tried to use their study lounge to print over 5 times across two semesters and never once have I been able to accomplish this simple task. The printer didn’t work twice... then they got a new printer and the computers stopped working. I just came in to print notes and lecture slides for class and the printer is out of toner and the beautiful MacBooks they have are useless because nothing will load. The rates next year got absurdly high and my neighbors are so loud I can’t sleep at night. Glad to say I’m moving next fall, good luck!

Since Ive moved in the office staff has been nothing but great help. From checking in and getting moved in to making sure my mail and packages are in tact and untampered with. (big deal to me) The gym and pool area are always kept real clean and if you have any issues with anything the staff is ready and willing to help !

21Hundred has many great qualities from the helpful staff in the front office to the keep up of the grounds/amenities! They always want to make sure that their residents are taken care of and will go above and beyond to help a resident. You get a great deal for what you pay, an apartment with top of the line appliances and finishes, private bedrooms and bathrooms, and 24hr access to study rooms, gym, and on-call staff.

Visited recently and I was greeted by Stephanie G. She was awesome. Very insightful, kind, and respectful. If you go there ask for Stephanie, you won’t be disappointed!

Terrible turnaround on work orders. Ive been waiting over a month for them to send someone to fix the Ethernet port in my room, ice maker in my freezer, and light on the microwave. All things that have been broken since move-in. The only good things about this place is the pool, large rooms, and nice interior design.

Very nice apartment facility! Units are updated and one of the nicest ones in the area. Love the pool and gym! People at the front desk are also nice and helpful! Branden is the best!

The internet is absolutely trash and need to be private. Besides that the apartments are nice but a little small for the expensive price.

If this review changes the mind of one future resident at this godforsaken place I will be happy knowing they arent scamming someone else. Management is trash and the front desk only has enough power to give out packages and will not help out with roommate disagreements. This place is so bad I did a speech on why American Campus Communities and their several student living housing complexes were not worth signing a lease with and I got an A on it lol.

Sarah was extremely helpful and so polite/nice while giving me a tour of the complex. She knew her stuff and really gave me a great idea of what 21hundred has to offer.

All i have is good things to say about 21hundred! everyone is super incredible and so nice and amazingly helpful. i’m just sad i already signed a lease to live somewhere else. definitely not gonna miss my chance to live here next year.

A scamEdit:I was pretty upset the first year I lived here because I was paying an outrageous rent (pro tip: do not sign early!!) anyways, I lived here ever since they opened and after two years I’m finally moving out. I really did love this place though! Out of all the other apartment complexes close to campus, 21hundred is the best. They take care of the landscape, clean up trash, and always respond to the work order requests. Bottom line, the maintenance workers were the best and so friendly and responsive. As for the units, I love the layout and the design. 21hundred has really been a home for me.Recommended! But at the right price!

BEST part of living at 21 hundred is the staff! Specifically, Sienna, Daniel, Ron and Tiffanie. I didnt know any of the staff to began with but as much as Im in the office interacting with them, it feels as if weve actually became friends! Theyre so nice and helpful. Now the WORST part of living at 21 hundred is that a lot of things break. Currently, our entrance gate has been broken for about a month.

It’s a good apartment complex . The people that work here now are sketchy because they really don’t care the residents they care about they money. Also they leased my apartment to someone else without giving me notice or anything. Now they still insist me to resign here again . Worse place ever to live .

Save yourself the money and don’t sign anywhere with the name “American Campus” they are a soulless company that doesn’t care about anything but their bank account- Management is the worst I’ve ever experienced and try to make you feel stupid- They do what they want and don’t tell you anything- Walk in all the time for “maintenance” just to look through your stuff- will put ridiculous charges on your account for errors made on THEIR part- pool always closed for no reason- building flooded first week we moved in and they then proceeded to keep large fans in our appartment for DAYS and then charged us an over charge on our energy bill- roaches everywhere doesn’t matter how much they come and “spray”- when something breaks it will take DAYS for them to “fix” it- NO RESPECT FOR PERSONAL SPACE HERE

Great place to live in. I really like my house and its pretty close to Wal-mart. The bus that takes us to campus is always on time. The staff is caring and always welcoming. Even though they could have already given us our mailbox keys and continue to have activities for us students, its worth it to pay what Im paying for.

I have been charged double my rent! This place only cares about your money. Not you. Do not live here. If I could help just one person avoid living here this review would be worth it. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding all American Campus living communities.

Absolutely in love with these apartments. The pools are gorgeous, rooms are very spacious. And it’s honestly not a bad location at all. Kayleigh was super knowledgeable and very helpful. She answered all my questions and was very friendly.

This place is awful. Lived with roaches for months. Plug ins don’t work and they wont fix them. Place was dirty when I moved in and this was suppose to be a brand new apartment. They had a mold issue in one of the rooms. If I had the option I would give this review no stars. I do not recommend staying here. The staff sucks. Workers are always making noise outside place in the morning and on the weekends.I ain’t never seen so many roaches in my life bruh.

This place may look nice but the work orders are slow, management (Rondrick Young) and matinence are rude and don’t care about you, they look for more and more ways to take your money, it takes forever to receive packages after they have delivered, and to top it all off they continuously have increased their rent prices. $544 are the cheapest rates right now, that means they are making atleast $2176 off a 4 bedroom apartment a month! Go rent a house with friends or live at the scarlet (right next door) for rates below $500. I didn’t sign till the second semester last year and pay $509!! Do the math, next year they will probably have starting rates at $569!! It’s just crazy, this place is over hyped (and I fell for it) and will eventually become too expensive for students. Not to mention American campus communities praises “great prices” for their complexes. Yeah right. This place shows continuously that they only care about your money. I could go on and on about all the bad experiences I have had here and to see that they are scamming students is just mind blowing, I’m disappointed I chose to give my money to such a company this year. I highly do not recommend.

I’ve lived here since it’s opened and it’s had many ups and downs. Management can sometimes be misguiding and a little confusing. However, the CA Erin always helps me with everything I have trouble with. She’s very level-heading, welcoming and completely honest. My favorite employee at the leasing office. Ask for her if you need something done in a timely manner!!!

Get a new printer for the love of God. This one has been inconsistent for almost a year. Use the money you use for fried food Friday’s to get a new printer. If you keep the current one have a second one next to it as a back up. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

This is the best apartment complex in lubbock! All of the office staff and CAs are amazing especially Tiffanie and Sienna! They were very helpful in the whole leasing process. They are also very friendly and helpful about answering questions and concerns.
