I am one of the resident her at raiders pass. Today, I went around 8:50am to the office in the morning just to drop the cheque from the mail box outside as the office hours start at 10:00. But, the door was open, so, I went inside to ask for a favor (if someone inside), to give the rent cheque in hand because I was leaving Lubbock and wont be back until last day of giving rent. And for my surprise (which I didnt expect), one of the staff lady showed up and started yelling up at me that its not the office hours, I cannot give you receipt and much more. I do respect working hours and because I was leaving Lubbock, so, I went inside. So, if she could have just said softly that I can only drop cheque from outside at this, I could have done that (as I did that ultimately even after she yelling at me). I just couldnt resist myself posting the review because I really felt bad that she was rude without any reason and my day started bad because of that.I want to bring one more point in context as well, people do refer the apartment to his or her friend but dont get the gift card (I am talking about the previous time when there used to be referral offers). It happened with me. I myself gave the referral form in hand to one of the staff member in the office, but, when after a month I asked that when are you guys going to distribute the gift cards. Answer that I go was that my referral from didnt come (which I gave myself in person). On the top of that, I also remember that in addition to me giving the form in-person, it was also emailed by the person personally whom I referred. But, still, staff didnt check for that.

My ESA dog was finally approved so I am no longer giving one star. Also, Justin is the bomb, super helpful and nice. Other people have said it too, they always have nice things to say about him.One thing, I wish they can fix the back gate so I wont have to go all the way to the front to leave the complex. I live in the back and it would be so easy if the gate could work.

TL;dr: Decent place to live on a budget!Raiders Pass is really a decent place to live, much better than most of the other places in the area IMO! The front office staff is always very nice and responsive, and the maintenance team is always very kind and thorough. Within walking distance to most places on campus. There are some break-ins so expect that, but they’re mostly in cars. The door locks are pretty sturdy.Internet can sometimes go out for an entire day (maybe once a month) so it would be good to know a place that has wifi or have a phone with data in an emergency.Honestly recommend if you don’t want to spend a fortune on rent but still want a decent place to live - I think having all utilities paid outweighs the cons, and the office was always very nice to me.

Current resident just moved in. It appeared as if they do nothing between owners of the apartment as they did not clean anything and the stove top being broken along with other things. The previous owners stuff was still in boxes in the living room. They have not been back by to fix and clean things after telling us they would do so. Would not recommend to any looking for apartments close to campus.

Worst front desk service and maintenance and worst management. They dont address any of your issues because it is for them to decide the priority of an issue. You could be freezing due at home but if they consider it low priority or have something else more important, you need to freeze there for a couple of days. Worst experience.Never expect the management and the staff to be generous or baseline dutiful. Front desk staff are very rude. Very very rude.Just want to see how long a team like this will be let to flourish. Bless you all.Maintenance person Janita is extremely rude all the time. Updated belowNot even worth one star. During the quarantine time and Stay-at-home order from Lubbock Mayor, my Indians roommates constantly leave the door unlocked during day and night so their friends from all over Raider Pass can come in and out of my apartment like a public place. I asked for help and the office said not much we can do about that and thats it. Seriously? They assigned 3 Indians into my apartment and let them do whatever they want. No offense to Indian friends but you guys really need to learn how to respect others.Oh, and forget to mention, they even give a number of raffle tickets to anyone who is willing to post good review about this place. Well, what else I can say.Update: signed new lease. They moved me from the current 4-bedroom to a 3-bedroom unit with the transfer fee waived. Make sure you contact them about your roommates every new lease term and it should be fine. Still a nice place to live if you are matched to the roommates that you want.

Manager and the management never bothered about any concerns. By far the worst responsive organization. They never make your living friendly and comfortable. I have specifically mentioned about my preferences at the time of signing the lease and was promised an appropriate fit in. I also have consent of 2 others whod like to live with me, but none of these have been considered. I got one response after sending tons of emails that too weeks after sending emails. This was received after one of my requested roommates room has been filled with another person who sought early move in.The idea of the management is to not answer any questions until a time is reached where nothing could be done so that it gets easier for them to merely deny.

UPDATED: I moved out of Raiders Pass back in February. I was done with the lying, I was done with the lack of hustle, I was done with the infestation (Thats STILL a problem, according to others Ive met since Ive moved out), but I still have an ongoing lease with them, so Im still paying to NOT live there. As such, I think Im within my rights to see what theyve been doing to improve the situation since I moved out. So for the past few months, Ive been communicating with American Campus Communities. They were who I had to talk to to get the last bug spray done to begin with. When I call now, I get met with a lot of excuses about how we have over 2,000 campuses under our watch, and how they dont have a policy of following up with residencies after a formal complaint is filed once the issue is closed. This shows why Raiders Pass doesnt care, as ACC doesnt care either. Ive spoken with them 4 times since Ive moved out in February, and I keep getting the runaround. And to see that Raiders Pass CONTINUES to get 1-star reviews for the same issues means that no one from any level cares about their residents. Its amazing how its the same basic issues, but all the reviewers get is the same stock response. So happy Ive moved to a much better place across town. I should have done it sooner, cost be damned.Ive lived at Raiders Pass for a decade now. Through degrees, doctorates, work, and other life experiences. Every year, it gets exponentially worse. When I first moved it, it was wonderful . I had 2 physician roommates, it was quiet, and the cost was amazing for what it was.Every new generation of supervisors leads to new generations of major problems. In the past 2 years alone, Ive informed them of theft multiple times, and had I not followed up, they would have ignored me. They refuse to help me with the most recent case. Further, I was told by a roommate of a situation where someone walked off with an order he made online, and Raiders Pass response was file a complaint with Amazon.Further, Ive had a bad insect infestation since June. Ive told everyone at all levels at least twice a month since then, and there has NEVER been any follow-up from the staff. I had to confront the GM and leasing manager (back in August or so), and even after that, had I not been there, BugTech would have only done a minor spray. Further, like others have said, they just put a note on the door that they are going to spray for bugs, but, as my roommates have affirmed, as theyre at the apartment 24/7 due to Covid, no one ever shows up.There is NO follow through here, other than the amazing maintenance staff. With the recent promotion Ive gotten at work, I can finally afford to move to a place that actually cares about its residents. Ive met all levels of their administration, and SEEN them follow through on reports. This place was a good place when I first moved here a decade ago. Hell, I got at least a dozen people to move here, either with me or in other lots, but anymore, I refuse to condone this place, and how little they care about the residents. Now, time to get the stock were sorry this has happened, give us a call template. No. I dont believe for a second that even the corporate office cares, either. Had there been any follow through at the corporate level, the infestation problem would have been dealt with months ago.

I highly recommend not living here. Although the price is one of the best in lubbock, it’s low for a reason. It is in a sketchy area and has had many break ins. There have been multiple times where I can hear someone trying to open our apartment door and many others. It is very loud at all times and has no noise cancellation. I live on the third floor and I can hear word for word conversations of people that are just walking on the sidewalk. If you choose to live here, don’t live anywhere near the volleyball or basketball courts. You will be up until 3 am from yelling and talking. When we moved in, it was a mess. There was no way the floors had been cleaned and when they painted from last tenants, the paint went right over everything. We had to break paint from the outlets to plug anything in and the light switches were painted right over. There have been 2 times when maintenance came right away and fixed our problems but other than that we haven’t heard from them about any other work orders. Just like many apartments they will just walk in without giving any notice. The appliances need to be updated as well as the furniture. This is overall not a good place to live. It doesn’t feel safe and I will not be living here next year.

And, we went to the management and complained about a bad roommate situation and told us well youre girls and you like to start drama. I feel like this is what this situation is about. Meanwhile, our roommate gives her key to a man and he walks in at his own leisure. Technically against the law, but did they do anything about it? You bet they didnt!! Raiders Pass ReviewPros: close to campus, washer/dryer in unit, lease by bed, cheapish, friendly office staffCons: Dirty, Maintenance is slow, they can come in whenever they want and do, loud, delayed notifications, not a lot of eventsI lived here from August of 2014- August of 2015.When I moved in the place was filthy and multiple things were broken. There was a hole in my door, fingernails on my bathroom floor, and a lot of dust. It took them almost three months to get everything fixed. The reason the washer was broken for three months was because the maintenance guy kept forgetting to bring a part from home. However, the move-in process was painless and easy to do. When the washer and dryer worked, they worked well if you didn’t overload them. I had roommate issues, so I really like that they have a lease-by-bed policy so my awful roommate couldn’t try to kick me out. It is really cheap for what it is, and it was really nice being so close to campus. They also have a bus route if you can’t or don’t want to walk or drive to campus. The office staff was also most of the time friendly. However, it is written in the lease that the office can come in whenever they want and they do. That was really annoying and didn’t make me feel very safe. They also weren’t very timely in putting notifications (sometimes important ones) on the door. They also advertise they they put on a lot of events for the residents, but they do not. The complex is very loud, because of it being mostly college students. The office was iffy about handling noise complaints. Maintenance is really slow in taking care of requests, as previously mentioned. It took minimum a week. The emergency answering service doesn’t do their job. There was one time I called them about my water heater, but nobody came out to look at it. I called them again during business hours the next day and the guy that came out said he wasn’t even told about it the day before. One other thing I hated was that they did not really work with me when I got a therapy animal. I brought in my doctors note, but it is a company policy that they have to send a verification letter to the doctor for their records. I realized by calling my doctor that after a week and a half, they did not send the letter. However, when I requested they fax it, they did. The move out charges were fair, they did not overcharge or charge for something that wasn’t done. This place has its drawbacks, but it’s convenient. You could find a better place to live for cheaper or the same price.

Living at raiders pass has personally been a joy. It is close to campus, the social atmosphere is great. It has all the amenities that one could want. All the CAs and management are friendly and helpful. Raiders Pass deserves a higher rating!

If I could post a negative star then I would. There is so many problems its hard to know where to start. How about all the numerous break ins in the complex due to the fact that it is not gated. THEIR WEBSITE SAYS GATED COMMUNITY AND IT IS NOT! THIS AMENITY IS NOT PROVIDED. Next I called because there was a lot of screaming downstairs so I wanted the apartment complex on site officer to check it out and the front office said they couldnt get ahold of him. THEIR WEBSITE SAYS COURTESY POLICE OFFICER BUT THIS AMENITY IS NOT PROVIDED! Next we continually get mail that is not ours and our mail is weeks late. Next we called because we suspect bed bugs in our apartment and they said they would get pest control to take a look and they havent came yet but online the maintenance request says its been taken care of. THEY LIED! This is a horrible complex to live in.

Its the worst. And do you know who made it worst? The staff. They need to learn how to handle customers. Once you signed your lease they will not even listen to you.

I decided to rent a place here last Summer despite the bad reviews. I have a feeling some of them are just young people not used to how rental agreements and cleaning fees work. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome (even helped me move in on a Sunday), and I had absolutely no problems with them.

Best price I could find and the staff is very friendly. Workout room is normally pretty clean and the apartments themselves are roomy. However, we’ve put in two work orders for our leaking pipes under the sink and they’ve come to fix it...twice. However, it’s still leaking. Also, the printer in the clubhouse is constantly not working, but they’re willing to print for you at the front desk. WiFi in the rooms is decent and overall this place is a good bang for your buck.

(07/29/14) I lived here one year and really enjoyed my time, partially because my roommates were all good friends but also because the staff always seemed friendly and happy to help. The rent is literally the cheapest in Lubbock (maybe the Ranch is cheaper ?), and to top it all off its fairly close to campus. The most important thing to me was also the good maintenance guys they had running the place, always talked to them when they came by. Very friendly and fast help. Id recommend to anyone who isnt looking for good, non-luxury apt.

This place is falling apart. Horrible management. Getting them to get anything done is like pulling teeth. They say they will get any work orders fixed in 24 hours, and they have a 24 hour after hours call line. They do not deliver on either of these. I cannot wait to move out of here.Save your money and live somewhere else.I will never recommend this horrible apartment complex to anyone else.

Worst apartment complex in the whole USA I guess. First of all, they assigned me to a unit on the first floor despite of my repeated requests for 2nd or 3rd floor due to some medical conditions including claustrophobia. I was even ready to show them my medical documents! They told me to sign a relet form saying there are a lot of guys in their waiting list willing to move here. So I signed it and it has been 1 week and till now, no response! I suffer from claustrophobia and I have phobia for roaches and spiders and all these have caused me severe anxiety. Therefore if my medical condition gets worse, Raiderspass will be responsible beyond any doubt!.
