They give great haircuts but are never there when they should be. They always leave early take longer lunch then what there hours say.Love the quality in haircut just hate driving all the way into town to find out they left early for whatever reason…….

Ive been going to this shop for several years now. Discovered it after a colossal fail at one of the other places in town. Austin and Sam are craftsmen in every sense of the word -- a very good word. They do one thing, and they do it very well -- they cut hair the way YOU want it cut. You walk in, you wait your turn, and you get a great cut at a very reasonable price. This is the way it was in the 50s when I was growing up as a kid. Good to find this kind of quality in todays uncertain world.These 2 men have worked hard with this shop. Whatever personal issues are going on for them right now, we must all come together and support this local business when restrictions are no longer in place. These guys are a class act, to think that they feel entitled in any way is to display ignorance of how hard theyve worked. They dont have to explain themselves or make apologies. I will continue to be a regular here and I will continue to support them in every way.

Great old fashioned barber shop. Cash or checks only. Both barbers are very good. Regular haircut = $18. They are popular enough that there is usually a short wait, although I got lucky today with no wait.

Great couple of guys that know what they are doing. Very relaxed environment and great prices backed by solid haircuts. They are not rushing you out of the chair and its obvious the pay attention to detail. Yes they only take cash but it only adds to that old school barber shop feel. So go to the ATM and get enough for a good tip.

Ive been looking for a good place to get my hair cut and I read the reviews for this place so I gave it a shot. Drove right past the building, a very small town feel. Sam took care of my hairs and I must say, a great haircut and a great conversation at a great price. This will probably be my regular spot now. I highly recommend trying this place if you are not sure.

Its a hole in the wall barbershop that specializes in mens hair. And the give the best damn haircuts and beard trims Ive ever had. I stopped going to chain barbershops and started coming here about a year ago. Ive gotten cuts and beard trims from both Austin and Sam and can attest that both do an impressive job.To be honest I feel like their prices are low for what your getting. Its something like 17 bucks for a haircut and 7 for a beard trim. For me thats dirt cheap compared to what I was paying at Floyds and Sport Clips.With all that said there are a few things you need to know before coming. First, theyre not open weekends. And second, they only take cash. The owner is old-school, and if you can live with this then youre going to have a great experience.

5 Stars! For cash or checks only, you don’t have to sign for a payment or see chip malfunction and these guys can make change in their heads! They have some of the best fishing stories ever heard! My favorite part is no distractions, like the phone ringing off the hook. Besides all of the superficial stuff, there are two barbers that give a great and affordable haircut. It is a little old school but that is part of the charm, you wait your turn, add to the discussion if you want or sit and read a magazine or whatever. The barbers are very professional and polite.

They show up when they feel like it. Your typical millennials they are very self entitled. They lost a lot of long time customers due to their work when we feel like it attitude.

Been going here for a couple years now. Old school first come first serve, share some stories and get your haircut. Sam, and Austin do some great cuts, and theyll remember you when you come back. They just took over ownership and freshened the place up a bit, but its still an old school barbershop.

Only a customer for just over a year. Had about 10 cuts from Tony before he retired. He gave great cuts and was always ready with a joke or a conversation. Sam and Austin have both cut for me since. Im not sure if Reg traditionally gets his hair cut in Nike-style sweatshops where people dont get to take lunches, but Sam and Austin typically continue to take customers well into their lunch breaks and often times take shorter lunches to do so. Even yesterday they pushed their lunch break back 15 minutes in order to get me taken care of. Sam and Austin have been cutting my hair for ten years, and the quality and professionalism are unmatched. I am all about supporting young professionals and if youre looking for the best barbers in Colorado...Sam and Austin at Clarks is where you need to go.

The person cutting my hair started a political argument with me. Not the place or time! They even mentioned how the customer before me was so mad at their political remarks they will likely never come back, well that makes two of us because I will never be going back either.

Great place! Im a new guy in town and needed a cut but forgot my billfold. The young man Victor or Vince cut my hair anyway! I went home got my money and took care of my bill.What a treat to trade at such a place! Did I mention the great hair cut!!

I just have to say this is one of the best barbershops I have visited in recent times. Ill admit I dip slip on the way up the stairs, but luckily they had proper railing to catch myself. Aside from my rant I received the best haircut In the comfiest environment, and best of all for a great price!!

Dont know what is going on with this shop. Now they are closed on Tuesdays also. How do they make a living being open only 2 1/2 days a week. I regularly used this shop after moving to Loveland in 2013 because they were the only shop I found that knew how to give a traditional mens haircut. Now, I have found another shop that keeps normal barber shop hours, gives traditional mens haircuts, and accepts credit cards. Sad to see the downward turn of Clarks.

Great environment and great prices! Sam and Austin are both very talented and also funny which makes the experience that much better. Get a great haircut every time and theyll do it right. You can go to a place like Sport Clips and pay $20 for a complete crap haircut by a girl that has no clue whats going on, or you can go here and get a $14 haircut that is 100 times better than those chains. You my as well throw them a few extra bucks for tip as you would have spent that money anyway on a terrible haircut. Bring cash or check as they do not accept cards. Im sure theyll get that worked out soon enough though!

All barbers are incredible and can cut anything you desire, from a buzz, flattop, slicked styles, to a layered cut. Very good prices for the service.

The only old school thing about this barbershop was the difficult to get in and out of chairs. The steps (there was no ramp) were in bad shape and the railing was not good. The haircut was mediocre and the barber did not use a razor to trim my neck which is one of the main reasons that I go to a barber and not a salon. I will definitely not be back.

Having gone around to a few other shops looking for a good cut, can say this is the only great barbershop in Loveland. I always go in for an afternoon cut when Sam and Austin are working, both give a quality cut.

The hours these guys keep are retarded. I wait till Wednesday to get a hair cut, block out my work schedule for the allotted time. Call 2 times. Once at 2ish, once at 2:30ish (no answer) to make sure they can get me in. I get there, and they are gone for lunch... like... answer the damn phone.

Simple small town barber shop

I moved to Loveland about a year ago from Atlanta. I tried about every barber shop in the area searching for the best. I get my haircut every two weeks, so I tried a lot of bad places. Then I found Clarks tucked away in the older part of downtown Loveland.The barbers Tony, Austin and Sam are great. You will get the same quality haircut with either barber. They dont take appointments or credit cards so bring some cash. As long as I live here Clarks will be the only place I go. Also they arent open on the weekends.
