Ive been coming here for years! The staff is full of friendly people ready to transform your plain nails into works of art! Ive tried many other salons and I swear nobody does a better job. They do take longer than other places, but if thats what it takes to get great quality then Im all for it. They make sure its perfect instead of rushing through you to get to their next customer. Which is something, I for one, appreciate in a business. I just tried a different place last month and my shellac manicure was peeling within a week 🤬 when I come here, they last 6 weeks! Seriously, I love this place.

This has to be by far my best nail salon experience ever. I was greeted warmly, my temp was taken, I was directed to wash my hand all before Id even decided what I wanted. I needed a fill in and decided to go all out and treat myself. I got the honey and milk spa pedi, and wow it was 45 minutes of pure bliss. I decided to go with a cats eye look on my nails, and woman that did them was very candid about never doing it before, she got a quick tutorial and ended up doing an amazing job! I wish Id have gotten her name. I will definitely be back! Its so much closer to home and I am treated as if I were royalty.

I am on vacation and needed my nails done. They were able to got me in right away. I was happy to see that in addition to masks they had plexiglass dividers at each station. Theyre shop is clean, friendly and the tech recommended a different manicure than what I had been getting that would be stronger and last longer. They are fairly priced and included a hand/arm massage. Perfect way to end a vacation. Im very happy with the service I received.

When I called I was told I didnt need an appointment, but when I arrived, I was told they were too busy and no one could do my nails. I was also told that I was too particular about the shape of my nails and it stressed out my nails tech so not to come back. Its a pity too, she did a great job and my nails lasted almost 2 months. 🥺

I havent gotten my nails done since the pandemic and I moved to Louisville during that time. I decided to get pedicures with my friend and looked up some places around. I happened to pick this place randomly and it was honestly such a shock how good they were. Most of the time I am usually unimpressed with the service provided for the money I spend, but I feel like this place did a wonderful job. They didnt rush my pedicure and they really took their time painting and making sure my polish looked perfect. Im super impressed so Im sure I will come back again

Was visiting from out of town and stopped by here to get my wife a manicure and pedicure. There was a particular shape and design my wife wanted. She showed the nail tech and she got exactly what She wanted. She says if she lived in the area they would be her go to for nails.

I asked for gel polish but was given regular polish, they put clear gel polish on top of regular polish.Get me once absolutely not twice.

They always do a great job. Im a faithful customer.

They take their time they listen the atmosphere is comfortable and the nails never break.

I visited this salon on a whim when I was unable to get a last minute with my regular. The reviews were great so I felt good but it wasnt the best experience. The 3 stars is generous as they did a nice pedi and were kind. However, my daughters acrylic fill in service began to unravel 4 days in and although we were out of town and unable to make it back in by the 7th day they were nice enough to fix it when we returned a couple days past. Unfortunately some still began to lift again the very next day. I did not appreciate the excuse given as to why they fell off because this is something we do often and totally know what to expect. One week and 4 days in I had a nail to break which never happens unless I get less than great service. I will likely only feel comfortable getting pedicures from here from now on and if this isnt your regular salon pick the right person to make an appt with or else your possibly wasting money.

The ladies here were kind and professional. They did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicure! My friend and I are definitely coming back next time!

Short wait and excellent service

I recently had a mani-pedi at AX nail salon. My experience with Snow was beyond enjoyable. She is very dedicated to her craft. She pays attention to details. She wasnt chatty because she was focused which I can appreciate. She gave one helluva good leg and foot massage. I chose the deluxe pedi and Im glad I did. It was so lovely and so was she. Actually everyone at this salon was extremely kind while I was there. Everyone took part in making the experience just flow nicely. I highly recommend this salon. They do a good job and they have taken great steps to keep us and themselves safe during this pandemic. I will be back.

I LOVE this place!!! I’ve been to get my nails done twice and both times my nails have been amazing! I asked the woman who did my nails both times what her name was specifically for this review but of course I already forgot! Amy, Tammy maybe? Anyway, she does an amazing job and she’s very sweet too. This is the only place I’ve gotten my nails done at that they haven’t broken soon after! I’m very happy with them. I like to do a matte finish set with one shiny accent nail and they’ve come out beautiful both times. My new nail place!

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! I came here with my cousin who has down syndrome. We had never came here before. I am very picky about where I go and get my nails done. The reviews were all good online so we decided to come here. I had called to make an appointment for us and told them what we wanted, the Basic Package, for BOTH of us. When we get there I check us in and the man that greeted us tried to get us to get a different package. A more expensive package. I nicely declined and told him we BOTH just want the basic package. While we are getting our toe nails done, the lady that was doing my toe nails was trying to get me to upgrade my package and told them no. She went on telling me about GEL that you can put on your nails. I asked how much, she replied saying its only 14 dollars more. I said OK (Only for my Nails, not Toe Nails). While this is going on, I am sitting next to my cousin and hearing there conversation. When we get done I go up to pay. The Total was way off then I thought it was going to be. I asked how did that come to this. The lady said you both got the deluxe package. I said I had ordered the Basic Package for me and my cousin. I did however ask for gel on my Nails which the lady said it was only 14 dollars more. The women said well if you get the gel that only comes with the deluxe package. (DID NOT TELL ME THIS AT THAT TIME) She then informed me that my cousin (WITH DOWNS SYNDROME) had asked for the deluxe package when her lady asked her if she would want it. (SHE NEVER ASKED HER) She is mentally handy cap. AX NAILS tried to take advantage of a mentally handy cap person and lied to a customer just to get more money. Please stand with me and not support this business!!!!!

This is by far the best place in Louisville to get your nails done. I have went to a few others and no one can compare to AX Nails! Once, I got them done elsewhere because AX was closed and I had to then turn around and go to AX the next day and have them fixed because they were so bad. The owner who I request to do mine asked who did them because she could tell right away it was not her work. I will never go anywhere else for as long as I live in Louisville.

Used to love coming here but I’m over it now after showing up twice now during business hours and them being closed. What a waste of my time and gas. Open up at the hours posted or don’t bother posting hours??

Deceitful pricing. My wife has been going there for the last few months. Her gripe is their inconsistent pricing that always seems to go up everytime she has visited. She has gotten exactly the same thing done in each visit but ends up paying more everytime. They are not really upfront with their prices and takes some time to know how much it would cost to get their services. You would assume these guys post their prices at the checkout. No, they believe they are in the healthcare industry and every project is different.
