Walked in on friday afternoon expecting a wait, but was immediately taken back to a chair for my pedicure! Tracey took care of me the whole time and made the experience very relaxing. She told me the price before i got in the chair and never pressured me to spend more than i had asked for. Thank you Tracey i will be returning in the future!

I only go here for my mani/pedis specifically the gel nails. They sanitize, keep distance and are efficient! They take appointments and walk ins.Any issues they will fix but the only time I have issues is if I mess my nails up myself 😬 they also do brows if needed.

I have been an avid customer at Mystique since they first opened in 2014. I LOVE this place! A year ago I moved to Chicago, and I’ve tried over a dozen nail salons. I’ve yet to find one that tops this place. The nail techs really take the time to get to know you, and your personal preferences. There is always a large amount of color options for both regular and gel polishes. I feel like when I come here all I have to do is pick my color, and they know how to do them from there. The wait is never bad either. I’ve been in salons where you wait for hours. Mystique provides quality services in a clean environment for affordable prices. My mother goes here as well, and has been for years. I’ve also referred several friends here who are now clients as well. I love this place, and it’s always on my places to visit when in town!

Great place for manis and pedis

Very rude staff! The nail tech I had got upset because I asked him to file my nails down more. At first he refused because he said they were “cute the way they were” when I told him that’s what I wanted he proceeded to argue with me about it! He finally did it, but continued telling me why he didn’t like it that way. I asked for a manager and they refused to let me speak with her because she was busy. I went on a Wednesday and it was only me and one other person there.... and the lady had shown me who the manager was and she was just sitting there playing on her phone!

I paid $88 plus a $20 tip for a fill in with gel and a pedicure. Not even 24 hours later one of my nail broke in half when all I did was open my car door. I’ve been getting my nails done for YEARS and for them to break not even a day later is unacceptable and uncommon if the nails are done correctly. I went back in and they told me that I had to pay $5 to get my nail fixed even though it was less than 24 hours and it broke because they make them too thin. I will never go back there and I suggest you don’t either. Also soon further inspection my nails are not the same length and the polish does not go to the tips.

I paid $40. Plus tip for gel nails, first time here, one nail chipped in 1 day..... went back and they fixed it. Same nail chipped 2 days later... went back and they wouldn’t fix it unless I paid $5. I’ve been getting gel nails for several years and they have never chipped, until I came here. That leads me to believe they have bad product or they cut it with something to make more! I haven’t done anything different and they should make this good. Incompetent and very dishonest business....I would NEVER recommend them.

I used to love going here, I have been a regular for the past 3 years, every two weeks for a gel polish change. Yesterday that all changed, I decided to try the DIPPED NAILS which I have decided I dont care for and isnt worth the price ($10+ more than my usual). When I went to pay they decided to tack on an extra $5 for having to remove my gel polish, first time in 3 years that I am hearing this (now my cost is $15+ my usual). Never have I ever heard such a thing, mind you I have been a regular (I know all of the people working there)so Lilly rang me up trying to say that it had always been this way. NO, NO IT HAS NOT!! Now I will have to find a new place to get my nails done.😣😞

I had a pedicure that was done in 10 minutes! From the time I signed in to the time I got in my car I was there 18 minutes. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I’m usually leave a good tip, since I used to work in the industry, I left nothing. I wasn’t going to waste another cent in that place. I’ll never go back

First let me say, this Nail Spa is very nice. Its well kept, the staff are friendly, they have great service. BUT, Ive had the same technician the last two times Ive been here and her manicures are literally the worst thing Ive ever purchased. I had to come home to remove the nail polish that was slopped on, trim my own cuticles and file my nails. Everything was done at such a poor level that I dont know if Ill come back. My nails are uneven, rough and i still have cuticle skin I am having to pick off. POOR, POOR JOB!However, my pedicure is great. I upgraded to the deluxe service for my pedicure and the same technician gave me impeccable service. I didnt upgrade while getting my manicure. This all leads me to believe she did this on purpose. Well, Diane...you will no longer be getting my service.

The most unrelaxing pedicure I have ever received! Staff became argumentative and abrupt when asked to warm the water up. Next upon getting my gel polish the manager on duty requested that I pay prior to my services. Mind you there is no drying time that would have affected me paying once my services were rendered!When I question and voiced my concerns as she didnt have the other customers so the same, she said its because management ask her to collect my money prior.One thing for certain I will NOT come back!!

Went to Mystique almost 3 weeks ago for a shellac manicure and brow wax, loved it! Its time to go back and I cant wait. Very friendly staff, clean, inviting, and the free drinks are an added bonus. The prices are a little higher than where I had previously gone, but the customer service is totally worth it. Best nail salon Ive found in Louisville!

The woman that I initially spoke to was helpful and professional. However, when I decided that I simply wanted to get the gel polish removed from my nails and toes, the service I received from another employee was horrible. She was brash and rude from the moment I sat down. She didn’t even greet me, and completely rough-handled me the entire time. I won’t be back. Which is sad because I could’ve been back as early as next week. The shop is very aesthetically appealing. Though none of that matters if the service is horrible. Never treat people that are spending any sort of money in your shop poorly. I will recommend all of my friends stay away, and i will never spend my money at this salon again!!!!

I used to like coming here. Its on my way home from work. I haveHad 3 bridal parties here in the past and it used to be a well kept salon. Today, however, I went in because I had a gift certificate that I forgotTo use. I have been in there several times since I got it and just forgotto use it. I have been here enough that they recognize me when I come in also.I wont be back after today. First of all, itwas dirty and unkept with holes in many of the stations and even the fish tanks were filthy. When my nail tech did my nails, he flipped over the towel from the customer before me. To top off this lovely experience, they wouldnt take my gift certificate and that is why I came here. I realize that it was expired but money is money and that is really unfair, especially when I have brought so many others to this shop and been a customer for 5 years. I can promise them that none of my family and friends wont be back either. Looking for a cleaner and more professional place.

I asked for the best pedicure for callous removal when I checked in. When I sat down I chose the most expensive option which included a hot stone massage and additional scents along with the normally included services. This was a special treat for me as I work full time, have 3 kids, and go to school full time. The lady who came over after I was sat with the friends I was meeting, (who were also getting pedicures), seemed put out with my very existence. I dont know if she hasnt been told I was there or she was just having a bad day, but whatever the cause she took it out on me. She seemed angry that I chose more than the minimum pedi as well. As I had previously mentioned I wanted her to focus on callouses so she used the pumice stone but nothing else. She became even further agitated when I asked her to do more and use the cheese grater looking device... Im hard on my feet but I also choose the more expensive package for this purpose so I shouldnt have had to ask twice it was included in the services. My friends actually paid much less ($40 less!) and I noticed their services were performed with much more care and attention.She repeatedly hit my ankles with the stones which was quite painful but easy to do when rushing. My toes were painted neatly but as most women know if you add the next coat too fast you end up with bubbles. Polish subsequently wears off much quicker because it cant adhere to the nail as well... It only took 4 days before it was completely chipped off my big toe.I paid $78 dollars for a very careless, painful, rushed pedicure. I tip well too, even though I dont feel she earned it, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and included the usual 20%, however, I will never go back to Mystique.(Also listened to them gripe about another customer who always takes too long and talks too much and they lied to her about their last appointment slot because they dont want to be trapped at work too late because of her...they literally discussed this in front if the 3 of us, other customers, like it was no big deal to gossip about an actual returning customer! Bet they dont have many of those) It was the worst hundred bucks Ive spent in a long time!

NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I dont even know where to start. The first time I came here they cut me 3 times with a nail file! Yes, a nail file. I let it slide because it was late. I gave them a 2nd chance (HUGE MISTAKE) and I will never come back. The woman doing my nails was so rude and treated me like complete crap. She also kept talking to her co workers about me in a different language and laughing. She gave me a hard time about cutting my nails down. She didnt want to cut them down and was all huffy and puffy because I wanted them shorter. She then gave me a really hard time about the shape because she wasnt listening. Then tried to fight with me saying I dont know what I want. I had to address her and Im the customer!! My nails are sloppy and all of the shellac is all over my cuticles and was peeling off the following morning. I tried to call and ask for a manager for the past 4 days. I would have gone in person but I caught a flight the next morning. They wont let me speak to a manager and finally hung up on me this last time called and said that a manager would never come to the phone. You couldnt pay me to get my nails done here. Never go to this establishment!!

Best pedicures hands down! Super friendly and great Service! I highly recommend this salon. I wont go any where else for a pedicure. The deluxe pedicure is so relaxing and a great way to feel pampered!

Always have an incredible experience whether I have the top of the line shellac nails done or the deluxe pearl pedicure. They make sure they know my name, what I like to have done, and even what I like to have to drink. Ive had some wonderful artists and I wont go anywhere else now.

I paid 58 dollars for a pedicure and my feet didnt look better than what they were before i went in there. My feet are not in bad shaoe to begin with. My technician from another shop was on vacation. I Normally pay 27 dollars for what she charged me 58 dollars for. I called the manager for more than a week and would never get a call back or answer, until i threatened to take legal actions. The manager is not friendly nor did she try to rectify the situation. I will never go back and hopefully this review will help someone else.

Used to love this place. Then, my shellac manicure which said it would last 3 weeks barely lasted a week. The tech refused to fix the chipped ones and said all they could do was redo the manicure ($35 vs $9 for fixing). Pretty bad when they have nail repair on their services then refuse to do them when a customer asks to pay for it. Won’t be coming back sadly.

My friend came here and the lady absolutely ruined her nails! She asked the lady to fix a nail and the worker took off her acrylic and told her to glue it herself! Beyond rude!

The staff is unfriendly & send a very strong signal that they wish you weren’t there. In addition, they complain to you in English & about you to coworkers in their native language (assuming we don’t know the language-turns out I do) if your “nails are too short” ( ok, don’t do my nails if you don’t have the skill set to do shorter natural nails-how hard is that?) The instruments they used were not sterilized properly. I requested & paid for a mani/pedi with gel color, but did not get it-nail color started chipping the same day. More importantly...she put a big cut in my finger with an unsterile nail file & my finger was infected & painful every bit of 3 weeks while having to take a full round of antibiotics.

Ive been coming to the salon for over a year now, and I really enjoy how beautiful my nails are thanks to Charlie. However, there was an incident on a particular day that I will hit a guess someone had left some family in products in the bathroom and the owner Lily came out questioning who it was instead of simply cleaning it up. Lily asked me if i was on my period and had I left the products on the ground or in the trash. Her actions were unprofessional, rude and flat out unappreciated.

Went in to get my gel nails taken off and was happy they were open Sundays! But will likely not be going back! The woman doing my nails kept trying to get me to get gel again, but then cut up my cuticles horribly that even days later Im having to apply ointment and they are extremely red, inflamed and sensitive! I had to ask her to not trim them on my other hand. They look awful and are very painful.

The nail technicians and staff are friendly and very good at what they do. Also, beautiful decor invites you into a spa like environment instead of your average nail salon.

STAY AWAY! I asked for a simple gel powder French tip, but what I received was a bubbly mess. I spent more time under the nail dryer than I did getting my pedicure. Poor service, he rushed through my pedicure. Im not so sure that I even got my legs and feet massaged with lotion. I didnt even have time to adjust seat massager before it was over. Feet soaked, nails shaped and trimmed, lotion on calf and feet finished in 10 minutes flat! I could have paid $10 for a polish change. ALSO, they didnt offer virgin strawberry daiquiris or any other drink for that matter. I will not be back. I used to love coming here and pampering myself. This is my second poor experience here. I didnt complain after the first one because I thought everybody has a bad day, besides Ive always enjoyed The Mystique Experience. After todays visit and reading the reviews, this place has definitely hit rock bottom. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME. Theres no use in trying to complain to management because they try to pretend like they speak or understand English. Its like talking to a brick wall.

The people here are so rude . I never really go to new places to get my nails done but I needed a fill-in & I was in the area. I asked for a new set & she told me no which I’m not mad about because my nails looked better before she touched them . I asked for pink acrylic & she told me no, I asked for glitter & she told me no, I asked if she could swatch one of the colors & she looked at me like I was dumb. When she painted them she globbed on all the polish, not giving it time to dry at all. It still hasn’t dried and it’s been 3 hours since I’ve got them done. Horrible service.

Worst place ever to get eye brows done went in and when she got done they were completely gone her name is Lilly and she was so rude and since she messed them up and took them off completely she didnt even say sorry or any thing and still wanted me to pay she said she didnt even care about messing them up and was laughing about it. She locked the door and said I couldnt leave with out paying and was cussing at me this is the worst experience Ive ever had and will never go back Im so upset now about the way my eyebrows look.

I wanted my nails coffin shapped and the lady that did my nails couldnt sit down and pay attention long enough to file them correctly and they look like super wide oval blobs. They dont listen to the customers. Theyre terrible and all of my friends have only said negative things about them.

I really used to love this nail salon but over the past few months they have really disappointed me. 1.)The girl at the front looks like if she smiles her face would break. It would be nice to have someone that was at least customer friendly.2.) the last few times I have bounced to a few different nail techs and they have all (3 total) have been awful. why do I want to spend 20-30$ on something that looks awful?dont get me wrong. they have quite a few great nail techs. Its just hit or miss if you dont request a certain one.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give no stars I would. They repaired 3 of my nails by putting acrylic over the broken nail that was wayyy shorter than the rest of my nails instead of putting a fake tip on them to even things out. So my nails all ALL uneven. The glitter from the gel polish clumped up at the tip of my nail causing it to be SUPER thick at the tip of my nail but thin by my cuticle causing a weird shape. The square shape is a square round which I HATE. After saying twice this wasnt what I wanted it seemed that my opinion on MY nails was irrelevant to the nail tech. They are wayy overpriced for the product as well as the inside of the salon was dusty, had holes in the nail tech tables and sink area was gross. It seemed ok at first. But just kept getting worse. Oh and worst part of all I paid $46 dollars for a set of nails I plan to take off as soon as I get home. This place is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. I wouldnt even let them paint my dogs nails after my expierience.

The spa has a very nice and elegant feel to it. I loved the complimentary smoothie that they offer,however the nail technican was awful. I received a manicure and pedicure on my visit. My pedicure wasnt that bad but, my nails were awful. They looked as though I painted them myself, I had nail polish all over the sides and the tips of my fingers. She asked to file my nails down(I keep my nails short because I work at an hospital)when I didnt need it. She put lotion on my arms for the massage and forgot to rub it in completely. It the worst manicure I ever had. I asked another customer if she was a requent customers and she also stated that her pedicure was great but, they cant do manicures at all. Not to mention she was very rough.

First off, I will never come back to this nail place again. The women I had was rude and kept picking at my cuticles past the point of no return. When asked to wash my hands- she was mad at me because there was fuzz on my hands from the wash cloth she gave me. This went on 3 times until she exclaimed it was all my fault. She then rushed through my nails and simply walked away and went into the back to never be seen again. I had to wait until the receptionist came back so I could pay $30 for horrible service and leave. Dont wait your time here!

This was my first time at this nail shop and it was TERRIBLE. The staff was rude. The place I usually go to get a shellac manicure does my nails to where they last for 3 weeks before chipping. I got my nails done this past Sunday and they were chipped by Tuesday! Greatly disappointed considering they are more expensive then my normal nail place. Safe to say, I wont return. Today was my 2nd time here. My first visit was AMAZING!! Which is why I came back. I forgot the lady’s name but she was so nice and did a great job! Today I went and a lady with short short hair with glasses I think her name was lany or Annie. I wanted to get a fill in and a pedicure. I showed her a simple design of how I wanted my nails, she said it cost too much and somehow talked me out of the design I originally wanted. I had the money!!!!! She kept changing the prices up. I decided not to get a pedicure because she was making up prices!!! She was rude. She kept making it seem like I wasn’t holding my hand right. Telling me I need to help her out! I asked her “are you ok??” She says “are you ok” then when she noticed I wasn’t about to take her attitude she started to be nice. At the end she sprayed alcohol of over my hands and didn’t even wipe it. She just said “thank you goodbye” I asked her for a paper towel so I can wipe my hands myself. She was terrible. Her attitude. I won’t go to her anymore!! The last person I went to went above and beyond and gave a hand massage and everything. Lany or Annie lady with short hair with glasses was rude!!! Sucks because the place is really nice!

Got a new set with French manicure. They charged me $5 to have white tips. I disputed because a new set would have had tips regardless. They also goldplate other costs: $3 to get nail cut down. Dont recommend unless you get all costs upfront because you will be surprised when you check out!

This place is close to my house and looks amazing inside so I really wanted to like it. My experience was subpar however and I will not be going back.

I had a great experience the first time I went (Must have been luck) so I recommended this place to 3 family members. They all had horrible experiences. Instead of making the customer happy they are more concerned about $ even when they know that the job they are doing is less then satisfactory. The last time I went I had to run to Walmart grocery to get nail polish remover bc the french manicure she did was awful and a nail file bc instead of giving me a new set that i needed she did a fill in. My nails had an awful shape to them. So so so disappointed and a waste of $60--

Seriously the worst ever!!! Do not go there!! I had to go home and file down my down acrylics they were uneven, different lengths, and my skin was stuck to the nail glue. The girl rushed and was not friendly AT ALL!!

I was holding a shellac pinwheel they have to show my lady the shape and color I wanted, and when she called me to seat me she snatched it from me and said you couldve just told me instead of holding that. Before we even sat down. Then I sit and she never says a word to me. Finally she goes ok how long do you want your nails when I told her she goes um ok if you want it that long its $5 more, do you understand? I wasnt even getting them that long for acrylics. Then she takes out two powders (Ive only ever seen one) and she goes which powder I didnt understand so shes goes oh my god.. POWWWWDERRRR as if I was slow??? I said Im not sure the difference I guess the regular so she rolls her eyes at me. At tihis point the lady next to me getting her nails done was in disbelief that I was still letting this lady do my nails. And the lady to my right had her jaw dropped. Then she goes ok what shape and I said the shape I showed you she said umm no for that shape its $5 more. You cant get that. Do you understand what Im saying, its $5 more. No you cant do that, takes too long too. Again the ladies next to me and even I was shocked, the lady to my left was surprised I hadnt given her a few choice words by that point. this place just tries to charge you for everything. Sadly I never get my nails done, Im always working and sadly the one day I decide to get them done I was treated so horribly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Sloppy shellac. Had shellac all over the edge of nails and the massage with both the mani and pedi was the girl barely rubbing lotion on my arms and legs. Didnt even remove my watch or rings- just barely rubbed lotion on my arms and legs. Over priced for a sub-par service. I will not return, and I would not recommend.
