This place is literally always busy but it’s worth the 1 hr wait for your car to be finished! They clean both interior and exterior and did a awesome job. Highly recommend!

Family owned car wash. The guys did sn excellent job on my vehicle. I hope they are being well compensated, because those cleaners pay attention to detail.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I had a bad experience visiting this car wash today. Ill start right away with the result, after I got it, I was extremely disappointed. the windshield was very poorly washed, and the carpets and seats were not well cleaned. dust remained in the cabin, the workers did their job very poorly. I think this place has a very high price for such work.

They do a fantastic job. The best car wash i have found in the Hollywood area. The only issue is they can take some time but thats only because they really do wash their cars by hand. They get every little detail.

Ugh it’s hard to find a good car wash when they offer different different prices when all the differences Is the outside of the car wax shampoo ext they need to focus on a good interior! Also they don’t use clean shamees so your windows alway smudged with dirt so it defeated the purpose just ugh! Definitely no a detailer just a wash down for 60$ definitely don’t bring you Ferrari there

This place is worth every minute of the wait. They take their time on every car and it shows. Yes its a little more expensive than other places you might find, but dollar for dollar, youll get a lot more here than anywhere else in the area. Highly recommend.

Dont take you car to this carwash. I took mine yesterday and they messed up my windshield wiper. On the freeway there was an accident and a truck was spilling all the diesel from the tank so the cars infront of me breezed out my car with the diesel and when I tried to clean my windshield noticed that one of the blades was damaged. Good thing it wasnt the driver side because on the other side I wasnt able to see anything because of the damaged blade.

They do a great job cleaning the car. I know inflation is real and prices are going up but price here got little to pricey. I can get personalized car wash for same price close by.

A long wait if you go at the busy times but theres a reason why its long. They do good work and take time to wash your car. Prices are a little bit higher than what you might be used to but worth it since they hand wash and do a good job of washing.

I’ve been coming to this car wash for over 10 years. Is it the best car wash in the world? No. However, it is an excellent value. I recommend coming here if in the area but double check the car is cleaned to satisfaction.

I have came here many times, never had a problem till today. The car wash is 29.95. Thats just to vacuum and wash and dry the car. If you have bird poop or anything sticky on your car you need to pay extra. I have never been told this as I bring my two other car and they have always taken out the stains. When I called and she told me I have to take the car so she can explain to me why its extra I have gone to car washes that are 25$ and they detail the whole car including the tires. DONT COME TO THIS OVERCHARGED PLACE!!!!

I got their wash @$36.95 to find stuff on exterior by my wheel and when I asked to remove, they said it was extra charge, then i open my car to see how my interior looked and the baking soda that spilled in my car stain was still on the seats and floor. Then i opened the trunk and vacuum wasnt done right :(Should have had my daughter wash the car. Would have been so much better than this :(

My way of telling a good job was done - the rear window in my Civic. If the carwasher did not leave a single smudge and you cant see any streaks or smudges after looking back there throughout the day it means they did a good job throughout. Sun has friendly attendants. Sun takes a while because tins if people go and they do a great job.

They cleaned 95% of the car, outside and inside for $29.99. They are fast too.Five dollar tip.Also, good use of space for a car wash in k-town.

Best car wash in LA. Period

Took over an hour to get my car washed and when I looked at it the next morning I noticed they had rubbed off part of the clear coat. I have several “dry spots” on my car. I called the next day and tried to see what could be done and was told because I drove off there was nothing they would do.Stay far away from this place.

CATION PERSONAL ITEMS STOLEN AT SUN HAND CAR WASH.For the last three years, I have taken my car to Sun Car Hand Wash. While the service is typically above average, my former experience has ended my patronage.An employee of the car wash stole my favorite pair of sunglasses. Im 100% certain because I always leave my glasses in my cars built-in sunglass holder, and no one has entered my car since I took my car to Sun Car Wash. Not only do these sunglasses hold great sentimental value to me because they were a gift, but they are also the only sunglass that has ever had fit so well, and not to mention that they are premium sunglass from Mykita ($900).When asked the owner if anyone had turned in a pair of sunglasses, he immediately said not. Then I explain that I always leave my sunglasses in the cars built-in holder. The owner interrupted me told me it was not possible.As a businessman, I appreciate protecting employees. However, the owner didnt try to talk to his employees about the missing sunglasses.I have referred many people to this establishment because the service is acceptable when comparing other car washes. But now, its beyond reproach, and I recant my referrals.Should you still choose this car wash, make sure you remove all personal from the car before handing over the keys.

It’s a really great hand car wash. On a weekday morning you can be done in 15 minutes easy. During the weekend, it can take around an hour because the place gets packed. It’s nice that they’ll let you know how long it takes if it’ll be a longer wait. They do a great job of vacuuming too.I had to remove a star for the pricing. It changes sooo much. It’s incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes they charge me more for having a crossover but not every time. Even without the up-charge, three weeks ago I came and the price for a hand wash and rainbow wax was $16.95. Today it is $20.95. I like to budget my cash. This place makes it hard to do so. Don’t think I’ll be coming back. I need consistency in pricing.

I always get my car cleaned at Sun Hand Wash on Western. Always a great experience. They cleaned my car well, the workers were clean and took their time to do a great job. Friendly welcoming staff and works as well.

1st timer today!! I am very happy about the job they did. Paid for the most expensive wash ($32) hand wax, rainbow wax, in/exterior cleaning, wheels cleaning, floor mat shampoo, and scent. Think they mightve forgot to put the new car scent in and besides the minor dots of bird poop I wiped off, I will be back! My car is shining! Next time I want to see about a detail to remove these hard water stains.

I paid $21 and they left many dirty areas, especially wheels and rims. When I pointed it to them, the lady said rims are not included. Well, what can I say. They are dirty! At least on the outside you must clean them

They do a good job and I keep going back, they are courteous and friendly and that keeps me going back. The last few times though Ive been having issues with the vacuuming and the tire cleaning. Enough attention is not being paid to simple things, especially when youre paying $32.99 for the car wash. I spoke to the manager/owner and I was assured the next time is highly unlikely for this to occur again. They do deserve five stars but this time I got frustrated with the pattern of improper vacuuming and and little things like that. I guess I need to be paying 65 and up to get pristine work... 😔 I also tip well because I even see Tesla drivers tipping 3 bucks... Ugh. Anyway Ill be cak there in 2 weeks so lets see 😊

This place is very convenient since it’s near my work. Never had an issue with dropping off my car here. Come Tuesdays since it’s discounted that day, but expect to wait about an hour due to high volume of customers.

Im from Georgia and were used to these kind of car washes. There arent many automatic car washes in California so when discovered this one, I was so happy. They also have vacuuming. I really enjoy this car wash. Definitely recommend this place.

This is a small but very well organized car wash, somehow in the middle of a high traffic area on Western Ave in Koreatown. The place gets really busy during the weekends, but the attention to detail the employees give to your car makes up for the wait that youll have to endure. I have brought my car to several different LA area car washes in the past, but they have never been as good as this at getting off all of the dirt and grime that cakes my city-dwelling car. Even the scratches (gifts that always seem to show up when my car has been parallel parked for more than 30 minutes at a time...) shine after the car wash (😂...😞). The prices are also pretty reasonable for being in the middle of LA (in the 25-30 dollar range at the time of this review). They have a bunch of clean plastic chairs to sit on and lose time on your phone while you wait, too.

These guys never have let me down. They pay attention to small details even if it is just a simple wash. And this place is 100% hand wash.

In my experience, really thorough cleaning at a great price. I get the deluxe spa wash, currently $25.95. The wait for your car could be faster but is reasonable given how busy they can get and the thoroughness of the cleaning.

Love this place they really take the time to clean wash and do all details that you want expensive but is worth it 👌. I have a tahoe they charge me about $36.00 and I tip the guys $20.00 because they really work hard and they do a great job. I go every other week.

Good customer service

I paid $32 for their best wash because I said I need my cup holders and interior cleaned well. I inquired about a detail job, the best one, and they said that it is mainly an exterior polish and wax. Which is why I went with the $32 option. When I got my car back and it was poorly cleaned inside, I asked them to fix it and the lady at the register was rude and said I needed to do their $130 interior shampoo. I told her I asked about it, and didn’t need a shampoo, just cup holders and hard surface interior... maybe it was a language barrier, I don’t know, but the service was horrible and for $32 I’ve gotten way better cleaning done! They didn’t even vacuum my seats! Never coming here again.

This carwash place saved my day. When I rolled up to the carwash was obvious that I was unsure of which type of carwash to get, so a staff member walked up to me and made sure I had all of my questions answered.

It may take an hour but its worth the wait! My car was filthy, but when they were finished it looked brand new. I paid almost $30 and they did an outstanding job. From now on, thats where my car gets washed.

They did a pretty good job, left a little bit of wax but i wiped it off easily. They were very nice, i saw streaks on the window that turned out to be on the inside. He got glass cleaner and cleaned it for me.

Whoever says this place is the best car wash place, obviously they never had good car wash before. My experience with this place was not so good. I paid $30 and expected decent car wash since they said 100% hand wash! But after car wash was done, this is first time I ever complained because their job was worse than the typical express carwash at the gas station. The owner says its dusts on the car. What!? I clearly saw the spots where it has not been washed enough, a hand wash shouldnt leave those spots. When I got back to home, I just wiped those spots with my wet towel and I laughed not only because those spots were removed easily but also the owner said those spots that didnt wash off require a detailing service which costs over $100. My car is 6 months old and doesnt really need a detailing service. I am a young Korean and I knew if I would go off on her, the other Korean customers will stare at me and will expect to think I am the rude one. So I decided to just leave nicely and leave the comment on the internet make sure no other innocent hardworking people lose their money at the wrong place. Stay away from this place there are many other places that can do better job with $30.

Somewhat pricey with hit and miss service time to time. There is usually a long wait, it can take up to 1.5 hours to get your car washed. This place is known to be the best hand wash in town but the price hike is unbearable. Last time my freshly washed car had soapy water marks all over it, seriously??

Good experience with these guys. My vehicle looks good for the money spent. Make sure the dryers get tipped because they seem to work hard to do their part. Kind of in a bad area, but then again thats not their fault.

Wow, I didnt realize these places existed anymore. Drive in and a couple of guys pre-soap, sponge and spray down your car. Finish in there and a couple of guys wipe your car down so its pretty dry by the time you leave.

Love the deal I get in their membership carwash program. The crew is friendly, always willing to help. The grounds are clean, vacuums operational.

Very detailed and nicely priced. These guys work hard! 100% hand wash takes a little longer, but well worth it. Grab some lunch a a KBBQ spot nearby or do some reading.

The price has gone up a bit in recent years, but these guys work hard and do a great job on every car. My only issue is they wipe down the interior windows with towels that still have a greasy residue from previous washes, leaving distracting streaks on the front windshield. These guys are almost always busy, so expect to wait 45-90 minutes for your car. Luckily, theres a Tom n Toms Coffee a block away with free Wi-Fi.
