DO NOT GO THERE ! I spent 220 dollars for absolutely nothing . I got my nails done a week ago, my nails should not be popping off like skittles. I’ve have longer nails XL Tips and my nails last for a month . The stones are fine but far as acrylic no ma’am. Never again this is my 2nd attempt and it’s been the same results . Very disappointed.

Cici was my tech and she did such an amazing job!! My nails look better than the reference photo in my opinion. She was very nice and so were the other techs that I spoke to. I definitely recommend Chic Nails!

Great place! Probably the best sanitization and covid protocols I have seen so far. The place is big and spacious. Service is quick and excellent. A whole wall of color choices. Highly recommended!

They keep trying to overcharge me and when I add everything up myself they say oh yes that price. So annoying!! Stopped going there

This is the only nail shop in Virginia that knows how to properly shape my nails. I don’t mind taking a 1 hour + drive. I get my nails done less than a handful a times throughout the year and at this point I will only go to them. I am never disappointed. They do such an amazing job and I’m blessed and thankful I found this place 🥰 I’ve been using them since 2019

Rushed job which is annoying considering I went mid week and they weren’t busy. Toes are fine but my acrylic nails are just ugh. Thick as hell. One hand had longer nails then the other. Once checking out I tried to use their military/student discount and was told could only do it with cash, which isn’t true. The sign even says so AND I’ve used it before at this location with a card payment.Nothing about my visit was worth $105. More than likely won’t be back.

I really love coming to Chic Nails. They have wonderful customer service and I always get what I ask for with the nail art and then some!! Its a very clean establishment and does a great job with following covid regulations. I plan on becoming a regular patron here.

Eh....the front door says they accept walk ins, but was not accommodating neither time that I walked in, and staff/chairs were available. They finally did squeeze me in, but I will think twice about popping in next time.

I love Chic Nails! I’ve been a regular here for years. John always pays close attention to detail and will make sure you are happy with your nails. The shop is super clean and the staff are following Covid protocols very closely.

As someone who is in the service industry, I almost never leave negative reviews but I am beyond frustrated with my experience.I get my nails done every two weeks, and last week the nail tech very obviously rushed through my set. She skipped a lot of steps other techs take, and I was in and out very quickly. That very night a nail broke off while I was getting ready for a date. I was disappointed. I went back the following day and explained that I felt she rushed through and I was unsatisfied. They fixed it and didn’t charge me. A week later and another breaks off literally in my sleep. I’m annoyed because now this is twice I’ve had to carve time out of my schedule to have it fixed. The repair job was meh and they didn’t even add the matte coat that was on the rest of my fingers. They then charged me. I explained my frustration but of course gave them my card to charge. They then told me that they can’t charge $7 to a card, it’s $10 or more. I told them to charge whatever they needed. At that point I just wanted to leave. I’ll obviously be finding a new salon. Horrible customer service.

I love this place, they recently expanded and its beautiful! On a Thursday or Friday after 4 you should make an appointment. The gel has a 10 day guarantee. They do a discount for military or students if you pay in cash. They have plenty of gel color options. I go here white often and the prices are very reasonable.

Do not go to this salon if you have long or medium length nails. They only like doing short nails and they hate doing nail designs. Very rude people. The guy even told me I was taking up too much of his time doing my nails

Very nice place. They do an awesome spa pedicure and are very gentle. They also do brow waxes. I’ll definitely be back for my semi annual foot maintenance.

Poor service I had an appointment for my fiancé and I before vacation get there and they tell me they only can service one of us even if I had an appointment manger wasn’t there either I’m never going back I always go there and top well but always have a problem I wouldn’t recommend

Worst experience ever! I came here to get a fill with an older lady, dont remember her name. My nails werent too good to begin with, but i didnt mind since I just wanted my nails done. I went to another place to take off the acrylics, and the worker had pointed out that the person that did my nails at Chic drilled my nails too much to were its indented, as shown in the picture. This has never happened to me before, and im never coming back :/

I got a full set of gel nails my toes painted with gel polish and eyebrows arch and paid a$102 and my nails and toes have bubbles on them I got this done Friday and I will be back today so they can fix the problems

The staff was horrible, the manager was rude. They did not do what I asked them to do and messed up my nails. The manager could care less. The person who did my nails did not know how to do acrylics. I do not recommend this place. The service was horrible!!!! WORST nail salon I’ve ever been to!!!

After moving to Norfolk, I struggled to find a good nail salon and Chic Nails is the only place I go after finding them. The quality of work is what keeps me coming back, and Mrs. Amy. Amy is so sweet and always has me leaving the shop satisfied. All of the nail techs are very talented and i would sit down and any of their stations without worrying about poor quality and poor customer service.

This was my first time ever trying a nail salon in Va. All I could say that this is now my to-go place! The decor is amazing, the staff are incredible!!! This place is so beautiful, from the flowers, to the paintings, to the excellent, colorful lighting. Julia did my nails and eyebrows and I love it! She was very friendly, open, and understanding. She took her time with my nails and everything. I felt so comfortable. They also let me know that they could do a nail design that this other nail salon said they couldnt do because it was hard! so I will continue to come here as long as Im down here. I dont usually write reviews, but this place is outstanding! Go!

Love coming here to get my nails done. Continually satisfied with my nails each time I get them done and they on average last 2 weeks or more. Just got dip powder and small tips and theyre holding up incredibly well.

I had an amazing experience here at Chic nails. John was very informative and helped me decide how to do my nails. I always have tore up nails after gel and my nails chip just a few days later. Im on day 9 with strong beautiful nails that feel great even now! I did the dip nails here and they skip none of the steps. He described everything to me as well since I had never done this before. I will be calling for an appointment next week to get a new color. Thank you so much for taking your time with me so I understood everything! Its the first time I had pretty nails this long!

I came to VA to visit. Walked into this Salon for its location. I was serviced by Amy & John. The salon is nice. The staff all are very pleasant. They are efficient and the quality unlike any other. I walked in with a mess of nails and walked out with a gorgeous set of coffin/ballerina tip nails. I even showed John a picture of a set of nails I liked online and his nail design outdid the original! How amazing is that. The owner engaged in conversation with all who walked in that evening, which made the salon inviting and comfortable. Definitely a salon to visit.

If I could give this place a zero stars I would. Their in a rush with all of their customers. Communication sucks. I asked my nail tech to paint the tip of my nails nothing. My nail tech was really rude too. The nails are way too thick.

Lady decided to dig under my nail. Then put primer on and my skin blistered and I couldnt stand the pain to even get them polished! Blisters and pus . They dont know sanitary procedures. Stay away!

They did a very nice job on my nails. My tech was really nice. My biggest issue was the wait. Got there and was told 15 mins and ended up waiting 35 before I was even seated. Then I got to wait again. It took an hour and half to get a pedicure. Probably wouldnt go in again as a walk in but Maybe if I had an appointment. T

Just recently moved to Norfolk and with any move your a little hesitate about new nail shop, salon, barbers, etc. But this place??AWESOME SAUCE!!! The atmosphere is calming. The building is clean. The employees are so polite and friendly. I was completely satisfied with my pedicure and my nails and my eyebrows just put the cherry on the cake!!! I have found my spot. I went as a walk in on a Saturday so I had to wait 30 min (expected). So glad I did though but next time Ill just make an appt. I recommend this place to anyone in search!!!

First time was great second time a complete nightmare. My nails are crooked, lopsided and the tech could barely work the drill. She hurt me three times with catching the edge of the nail. Still trying to figure out how she screwed up my gel polish finish but I have bubbles and they’re sticky!! Won’t be going back

Left bleeding, sns all over my fingers. Manicure started lifting within days. Some here do good work (Kelly) but others, like Angie, are rude - almost verbally abusive - and incompetent. I’ve never paid the same price twice here, meaning they make prices up. Don’t go.

I will NEVER be back. I used to live in Norfolk and I went here once and had a decent experience. Came to town to visit a friend and suggested we go here. Well, THAT was a big mistake. The woman who did my nails was extremely rough, cut my fingers twice, my one nail was missing polish near the cuticle, one was crooked, and they had the audacity to say it was my fault. Biggest waste of money because YES Im going to rip them off and get someone better to do them. But they still made me pay $50 for the WORST experience. Im disgusted by the womans attitude and honestly embarrassed that I suggested going here.

Im not from Norfolk and I have been searching for a nice place that does quality nails for a while and I have found that at Chic Nails salon. The customer service is just awesome and they really work with you. Also the nail technician does great designs.

Ive been to this nail salon several times. I recently paid for an SNS manicure (not cheap!). It didnt last me a week before one came off. I went and had it repaired. 3 days later another one came off. My SNS manicure didnt even last a total of 2 weeks. I called and asked for a refund and was refused. Will be finding another salon in the area to take my business to.

Spent $88 here on Friday. Two days later my gel polish is peeling off my fill in. The manager filled my nails too thin that my nail broke off on day 3. I am highly upset. When I went back he was willing to fix it but made my nail repair much thicker than the others and did not want to fix that. I will not be back. I’m really upset with this business.

It’s only 4:35 pm, I just caught a Uber out to Chic nails. I have my bags in my hands because I am planning on catching a greyhound to Nc at 7pm. When I walk into to the nail salon, I am told they were not able to take me. I said to the man, “I didn’t think you all were appointment only” he responded “we aren’t we welcome walk ins we are just booked with appointments for the day”. Okay so if appointments are a priority and there is a 3 hour early cut off for walk ins, that information should be disclosed. Unprofessional and I won’t be back. Here I sit outside waiting for another Uber to head over to another salon that actually welcomes walk ins.

I went at 1pm to get a full set and was told to come tomorrow because every tech was busy all day. They close at 7pm. How can eight tech be busy until 7pm, yet there was no one waiting. Every chair in the waiting area was empty. Not good service!!

I’m extremely picky about my acrylic nails I have always felt like I needed to file them whenever I left a salon but I absolutely love my nail tech here. Lily is amazing. I refuse to go anywhere else.

Just moved to the ghent area from va beach wanting to find a new potential nail shop. I went into this place just for eyebrows just to see how they do. They told me to come back in an hour..for eyebrows? And all those ladies were in there?.. No thanks! Sorry wont be gaining a customer from this experience.

Chic nails doesn’t close until 7pm i arrive at 6pm right after work they told me if there 6pm app doesn’t show up they will take me there was only 3 other ladies in the shop 2 were getting their nails done and one was getting a pedi I’ve been here 2 other times and seen them refuse many ppl even before 6pm If they don’t want any more customers they need to just turn off their open sign at 6 this is really ridiculous then when i said I’ll just go else where he said make an app soo basically they only take app or do what’s convenient for them

Never have been to this location before but I thought I would give it a shot because its closer to my home. Walking in my first thought was nice enough decor but not super new but thats fine because I can appreciate a small business with excellent service. It all went downhill from there for me. The woman who was at the front desk didnt greet me or even look at me for that matter. The male manager that is there who was in the middle of the appointment had the decency to acknowledge me. Okay fine. I can understand maybe the woman at the desk was busy? Anyways I let it go. I sat down in the chair and explained to my technician that I wanted a short stiletto shape she said okay. I asked her about pricing and eyelash extensions. She said that the eyelash technician wasnt in today which was fine. While answering my questions I felt she was just kind of short and slightly harsh in her responses. I just told myself it might be me. After gluing on the tips she cut only one nail down until I was happy with the length then proceeded to tell me that it was too short to do a stiletto. Okay fine. Everything was still good. I asked her to glue on a new tip so that I could have the shape I wanted & she could cut them down to as long as they needed to be. I didnt think this was unreasonable because she only cut down one tip and could just glue another one on for me. She got defensive and continued to tell me that she cant do that because the nail was already cut too short. This is when I started to get frustrated. I mean Im not a nail technician so I didnt know that it had to be a certain length & she is a nail technician so she should have told me that I couldnt have a stiletto with a short nail before she cut it. I probably repeated to her two more times with the same attitude she was giving me to take the one tip that she cut down & to put another one on & to cut it long enough so that I could have a stiletto nail, I mean come on, its not rocket science & its not like she had already cut all the of the tips down. By that point I was out of patients. Thats when the manager came over and listened to my concern and got my technician to do a better job. The rest of the appointment went fine & the technician lost her sucky attitude, but overall it wasnt a good experience for me. I wish the rest of the staff was as friendly and accommodating as the male manager thats there. If they were then I probably wouldnt go anywhere else!
