Very poorly ran ticketing booth. Stood there over an hour to check in, then told that the plane didnt have a 1st class cabin ( after paying an additional $200 to upgrade on top of the 1st class tickets I booked through Delta), when I asked for my money to be refunded I was told they could only give me a voucher for a domestic flight?! Stay away from this airline!!
I was asked to be 4 hrs before. I had to wait more than an hour for check up at counter.
All I needed was for them to send me a email verifying my ticket for a flight to GDL. I was charged and had a receipt with the confirmation number. I didn’t realize it was reserved until I arrived at the airport. Customer service was not able to help me and all they wanted to do was give me a refund. My ticket originally cost me $398. Since I had to buy a new one I paid $700. Every time I tried to tell them about my situation they kept interrupting.
They destroyed my brand new loggege, that never happens with other Airlines companies..this looks like an abuse on my connection from Mexico City. While in the airport asked an Aeromexico costumer service the gate I needed to be waiting for my fly and she told me was on my ticket and I couldnt read the gate wasnt on my ticket . when I found out because a janitor told me I ran from waiting area gate 70s to area 50 I made it right on time to my gate...que servicio señores. Aeromexico nunca estará a la altura de Delta Airlines

Bought a flight to Acapulco with a layover in Mexico City. They cancelled the second leg of my flight last minute. They put me back on the flight to Mexico City but stole the additional money I had paid for my second flight. Their reasoning was that they didnt have to give me a refund or voucher, because they were offering me an alternative flight. Problem is, the first flight available was 2 MONTHS after my return date. So flight cancelled, refund refused, only solution offered was to take a 2 month layover in the middle of my flight. Absolutely ridiculous.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I BOUGHT A FLIGHT FOR $461.00 .. GET AN EMAIL A WEEK BEFORE FLIGHT THAT IT HAS BEEN CANCELED. AND NEVER GET MU REFUND BACK.. I CALLED TO BE ON HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR TO SPEAK TO SOME INDIAN GUY WITH THE WORST ACCENT GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND IN WHY I HAVENT BEEN REFUNDED YET. Horrible experience! My first time flying traveling out the country, we clearly were there on time ! The lady was very rude as soon as we said Honduras she changed her whole attitude, we had to wait till Monday when we were destined to leave Thursday at midnight. Plus pay a 200 no show fee for me and my bf. So sad we had to book the next flight with another airline with our spending money that we had saved to spend with our loved ones.
Just boarded- we have first class tickets and are in zone 1 and were on time! We clearly were to board first! We were told by a rude gate person that he had to let the other people in first and we had to go to the end of the line. Also, We do not speak Spanish, all directions were given in Spanish.When we showed him our boarding passes he still said we have to let the other passengers in first and then I’ll let you pass. Again we questioned why, when we had 1st tow seats! In first class. Finally he let us pass! Such racism!Should not be tolerated.

Great customer service. Since I was flying SkyPriority I didnt have to wait in line for check in, nor TSA, nor boarding. I always fly Aeromexico when I can to and from Mexico. You get access to Delta Sky Club which is an amazing place to wait for your flight. Unlike other reviews I have never had a problem with Aeromexico. Once I missed my flight due to the airlines fault and they put me on another flight free of charge and even refunded me my original flight as I was flying Business but got pushed back to Economy. I always fly Aeromexico whenever I get the chance. They provide awesome service in the ground and on the air as well. Flight attendants provided me with a pen to fill my immigration form and always kept my glass of red wine filled up. Always purchase directly from them. That guarantees you to get great service and you can even get points from Club Premier.

Impatient and unfriendly gate staff with zero effort to be pleasant. A smile and kindness goes a long way in this environment, but that must be lost on this crew. Evidently, warm service and spectacular Mexican hospitality didn’t make their way north of the boarder.
Worst ever. Cancelled flight last minute, then issued an electronic voucher that I could redeem on my next flight. Tried to use that and the system didnt accept it. Emailed customer service, they didnt even address the issue, just said no refunds.
Aeromexico cancelled my reservation without any phone call, email, or text message. When I asked why or how this could have happened they had no explanation other than I should go to an airport and show my ID and card. Which I did, immediately but did not do any good. I had to re-buy the tickets but this time for 300.00 more than when I made the purchase 12 hours earlier. They have no live customer service that deals with billing issue, they have only an email team that didnt see anything wrong with what they did. I wonder how many other people they cancel on just to re-sell at a higher price.

Horrible Service!!! Would have given zero stars if that was an option.Several hours before our flight I received an email informing the flight was delayed 12 hours. When I called Aeromexico to confirm the flight delay, they told me the flight was not delayed and I should go to the airport for the normal scheduled departure. I called twice to confirm and was told to go to the airport. When I arrived at the airport, there were hundreds of people in line for AeroMexico and agents only said to wait in line and gave no information. After an hour in line that never moved, I walked up to the front of the line and demanded to speak to an agent. I was told that the flight was delayed until the next morning.Our flight was rescheduled and delayed several times over the course of 15 hours and we had to sleep at the airport. The final attempt to reschedule our flight was on an overbooked flight and they could not seat us. We were told the only available flights would be many 5 days later!! This caused us to miss our entire trip.The counter agent told us to call Aeromexico and maybe the operator could be of service. We called and was on hold for nearly an hour before being given an email address as a source of contact. There is no one to speak with regarding complaints or flight cancellations. The company only communicates via email. Horrible customer service!!! I wrote an email explaining what had happened. The company responded saying since they offered us a flight, even if it was 5 days later, they would not refund the tickets nor offer a credit! We spent over $1400 on two tickets and they could not even offer a credit!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. FLY WITH A COMPETITOR.
DONT FLY WITH THEM!!! Their staff is super rude and unhelpful... If you manage to get in touch with any of them... I had an open ticket with them, they made it sound really easy to book my next flight with that reservation number but once I called I had an extremely rude customer service agent telling me that I was going to have to pay $1000 for a ticket that costed $450 on their website, no explanation as to why, not trying to help but only trying to make me pay a lot more money than the actual flight. This isnt the first time I have a bad experience with the airline, I will definitely stop flying with them from now on and advise everyone I know to do the same!
I honestly would give zero stars if I could. I have bought cheaper tickets before from other airlines with EXCELLENT service. My family and I have traveled for many years and we have never experienced such bad service. We had an international flight from LAX to Mexico, when we got to the airport they told us our flight was cancelled and they had sent us no notice of this through email, text, etc. They had no answers as to when the next flight would be leaving, we had to wait an hour at the airport to wait for them to give us answers all they told us was that the next flight would be the next day. Luckily, my family and I don’t live too far from the airport but the people that had to stay over night were not offered to stay at a hotel and were kicked out of the terminal and had to stay OUTSIDE over night. They then told us that our flight would be at 10:45 the next morning and when we got here it was changed to 11:25. For the price of these tickets I am VERY VERY disappointed with the lack of service. I would really not recommend. NEVER flying with this airline again 🤦🏽♀️
Worst airline experience ever. Lost my luggage and have had a nightmare experience ever trying to unsuccessfully get it back. Nobody at their customer service team seems to care. They simply say they can’t help you and give it to the next department who say they can’t help you either before sending you off again with another department to contact, only to find yourself in full circle until you get so fed up you give up. It’s been 7 months and I haven’t received my luggage. I would rather ride a donkey then take this bum airline ever again.

Refused to issue a refund for a ticket that they also refused to issue, bought it for a family member out of country they required I confirmed identity at an airport 2 hours from me and no employees were working there. When calling they also cant do anything.. they want you to send emails for months before issuing any refund. Avoid at all costs.

A family member flew from LAX and was expected to land in Mexico City, but due to the thick fog landed in Guadalajara and as a result missed his connecting flight (which is no one’s fault), since he flew to Mexico City 5 hours after being in Guadalajara, he was asking questions trying to get another flight to go home, keep in mind he only knows English, so it’s harder than you think. my family then called toll free and the customer service representatives were terribly rude one hung up on my mom, and when i called i was told it was his fault and to buy a new ticket. Long story short he was stranded in Mexico City for a period 23 hours, then when they finally got him on a flight and he got his luggage, a wheel was broken off his suitcase. I do not recommend this airline!! Starting to believe if you don’t speak Spanish don’t fly them. Rude employees, working for an unorganized airline .

Dont use Aeromexico!! Our last experience with them was beyond frustrating, stressful, & appalling. I travelled to Mexico with my mom & 2 siblings, our flight there was nice. We were in Mexico so we didnt have any cell or internet service. On our flight back we got dropped off at the wrong gate & we were 2 hours ahead of our flight time. The people at the airport kept giving us bad directions so by the time we found the right gate, we were only an hour & a few minutes early. We found out that the airline had sold our seats that were already paid for. The people at the desk were sarcastic, rude, and completely unhelpful. My mom lost all the money she paid for our tickets & we werent refunded or put on a different flight which they had done for my mom when her flight had been overbooked a different time. We were then told we would have to buy new tickets with money we didnt have & the tickets were more than double what she had paid. It was one of the most stressful, frustrating, & appalling experiences Ive ever had. I have used this airline before but non of us will ever use it again! Not only did they refuse to give us back our seats and effectively had us miss our flight, we missed my little brothers high school graduation!! Im disgusted with the way the people at the desk handled this and I will be seeking a refund for my mom.
The only good thing is the food and movies on the plane, but is the second time that they change my flight due to sits over sales without any notification.

Let me start with the scenario: I purchased a ticket to go on vacations. long story short, I forgot my passport at home and missed the flight! Fine my fault!(flight money was lost/non refundable). I asked at the service desk to anemployee when was the next flight? She says at 7 am the following day and that it was going to cost me $324 dollars and to be checking in at 5 am. I get there and gave out the reservation number to the employee and she tells me that I could only get that price until 2 35 am the previous day! Are they serious? ! I was never told anything about the time frame to purchase a ticket for that price! I am there ready to buy the ticket and I am told that my ticket was going to cost me $777 dollars ! ! Instead of $324 dollars. I asked to speak out the person in charge (Marcos Avalos). His only response to the scenario was : I am sorry, I will speak to the person that helped you last night! Wow! ! I ended up buying the ticket either way, family and two others friends made arragements to meet me in Mexico, I could not cancel the trip!!! ✈✈.. I am so upset, if the employees could have explained and given me important information I would have not ended with an extra debt/expense on my trip! .
They pushed our flight to delta due to there 737 Situation then delta had us wait over two hours to tell us we cant board on the plane because supposably we were late, and to go talk to Aeromexico. There wasnt anyone at the AeroMexico terminal, so we go back to delta and wait an hour so they can tell us they cant do anything for us and wait for Aeromexico in the morning, and most likely we have to pay for another flight. Worst experience I ever had, never seen such a bad combination of traffic, miscommunication and waiting in line for no reason. Now Im stuck in the terminal sittin. When I could have been heading to my destination

This airline has left a distasteful sentiment with me. From their in person agents to their phone customer service. The level of arrogance and indifference is on a whole other lever. Zero stars from me. You pay for a service not beg for it. Maybe it’s a work cultural thing? Idk. Other airlines that had a lower economic expectancy surpassed Aeromexico’s customer service. 👎🏼
The employees are terrible. The customer service sucks! Aeromexico needs to train them and pay them adequate wages so they can have something to smile about!

Good planes, good people, but the stop in Mexico & the information needs to improve a lot. Especially the pick up of baggage in MEXICO & GOING THRU CUSTOMS.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to fly with them. The staff is very rude, unfriendly, disrespectful, unprofessional, not helpful or caring and they think it’s okay to treat their customers however they want.They accused me of putting stuff in my Cousin carryon when I didn’t to charge her an additional fee saying the bag was over weight when it wasn’t, having three bags when one was a carryon, my purse which was a bag and a plastic bag with souvenirs which they weighed and made me pay for without any instruction on where we were to board or go after she pretended to give me my Boarding Pass & we asked to speak to their supervisor to make a complaint we were also denied any information on how/who to contact to make a complaint while they laughed and ignored us.
Broke off the wheel on my luggage so I had to lug around my 50 lb bag and then told me it was normal, expected wear for them to have that happen. Now I have to buy a new bag because its really useless to have a bag as big as it was and not be able to wheel it around.
The plane from Leon to LAX was comfy and good.

Bought a ticket to Mexico with my friend, and 24 hours while checking in noticed his name on the ticket was entirely wrong and under possibly another passenger! obviously a mistake by the airline, strike one. we called in to customer service and spoke with the supervisor. not only was he zero help, he was plain rude and obviously didn’t care about their airlines mistake or fixing it, strike two. now because my friend couldn’t fly tomorrow since they put his ticket in someone else’s name, you would think the ticket would be refunded? nope! they offered no refund or credit towards a new flight- strike three! already called his bank and disputed the transaction, and booked a new flight with united! have fun paying those chargeback fees, original airline ticket and missing out on selling that empty seat, Aeromexico!
Dont fly them into LAX from Mexico. They dont land into the international terminal so you get bussed to immigration. Adds 30-45 mins of disorganized chaos to your journey. Never again.Also at MEX they changed gate 3 times without notice.
Impossible to effectively communicate with anyone from this company! They are trying to expand into new markets but in my opinion are failing miserably in competing with the other options available.
When ever you arrived early for your flight, and you are on line to check in. but they prioritize pasengers of flights that are delayed,is not correct.

They don’t support mobile tickets, you have to get a physical printed copy. If not, expect a extended delay for your boarding. The help desk for Aeromexico is horrible, they will tell you nothing is their fault and you need to contact some random other airline number when in fact. A Aeromexico employee with Aeromexico Branding on his uniform broke my luggage zipper, and then just told me to go on. This is not the first time they treat people bad
My luggage got damaged on the way there and on the way back the same thing but this time even the sipper was damaged.. The people that work there they just trow without care..

Terrible, they stole a bag of silver jewelery from my mothers baggae that she bought in Guadalajara. When she called to report it they said theyre not responsible! Really not responsible for their employees steeling?

Despite having frequent departures, they dont let us check baggage till 3 hours prior, and I was on business class. To make matters worse, theres no baggage storage at lax. Ridiculous.
