I have been under their dental care for more than 20 years. I left for 8 years and returned and the environment was still as welcoming as it was back then. Both dentists are AMAZING! The love they show their patients is remarkable! Job well done! It feels good to be back!

Such a great group of folks. I actually enjoy going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned. It’s so relaxing. The staff are so friendly and care about you. Been going there for a long time now. Great place for your dentist needs. I highly recommend them.

I asked for pricing for common procedures before going in. Their reply: This office does not give out pricing like that Denying me service and saying I should go somewhere else. For nothing more than asking for the price?! Imagine going to a store that had no prices and once at the register you are forced to pay whatever price they give you. Keep this in mind when choosing your dentist. Go ahead, email and ask them what the price is for a standard filling, a crown, etc.

Im guessing the higher ratings come from the female dentist that works on pediatric patients because Ive heard nothing but good things about her. I have never given any business a negative review but when it comes to teeth, people need to know what theyre getting. I never had any pain or symptoms of a cavity and was never told by a dentist that I had any until I moved to Longview and took a chance with McGough. This office was shut down for awhile during covid so I suspect since I was among their first patients after the shut down and had good insurance...they wanted to milk me for some extra $$$. However, since Im not a dentist, I cant prove this, maybe I did have cavities, thats all aside from the point. I took his word that I had 2 cavities that would certainly cause me problems in the future. I got 2 fillings done around 6 months ago by the male McGough and have had nothing but problems and pain since. They adjusted the bite and that helped but the pain and sensitivity never went away. Eating anything cold or too hot is completely out of the question and I still cant chew anything on that side of my mouth. Also, now that the weather is cooler, Ive noticed that if I breath through my mouth it gives me a headache on that side because of the level of sensitivity. I cant even drink room temperature water without wincing in pain! After being there twice with no solution I have given up all hope and trust in this dentist. Even his cleanings were unpleasant, he didnt have a hygienist that day for some reason so he did it himself....something Ive personally never experienced, and I was in the Army and used VA dentists for years. Hed scrape for several minutes without any suction or rinsing. I had to travel back to my dentist all the way in Tyler to get this issue taken care of and was told I needed a root canal because one filling was done improperly. Great! Now, my good teeth that literally NEVER gave me problems before will never be the same. What Ive learned from this experience is that dentistry is an Art, and unfortunately not everyone has artistic talents regardless of the amount of degrees hanging on their walls. Dont go here, It may cost you more than you bargained for.

I am so pleased with the staff. My son is very shy and doesn’t like going to the dentist. But the staff at McGough & McGough make the experience better for him!

Excellent experience and I was impressed with the technology! I had my 6 year old had his first fillings done today. The staff and Dr. McGough were awesome, very attentive and making sure my son was comfortable during the whole appointment. She used a laser to take care of the cavities and he didn’t even flinch once during the whole procedure. I wish my first experience with the dentist was like the one my son had with Dr. McGough. I know he would not have any problems coming back. Definitely will highly recommend to any family and friends!

I brought my toddler in for her first ever dental appointment and they were absolutely wonderful. My kid is terrified of doctors and they soothed her which is a miracle. The waiting room is amazing and they have lots of things for children to do while you wait. Hands down the best experience ever! We wont go anywhere else :)

The McGoughs are all about the kids. It seems to me that their intentions are to train the children to take Initiative and responsibility for theIr own care. There is a chair for parents in the treatment area, but kids are encouraged to attend without parents at a very young age. Makes a mom so proud! And the no cavity club is a big deal there! There’s no shame in not making it every time, but it’s an incentive that the kids are really proud of.The entire staff is genuinely warm and welcoming. They make everything from scheduling to choosing treatments practical and easy to understand.Appointment reminders and special instructions (such as COVID precautions) are sent through text messages - so easy to receive and reference near appt time.We look forward to going to our dentist😊

This was my third visit. Very nice people, great service, appointment was right on time. My old dentist is retiring and it looks like I will be using these folks for the foreseeable future.

Enjoyed my first visit. My dentist whom I had used for nearly 40 years retired. Proud to be with McGough and McGough for my dental needs.

My four year old had a cap and cleaning today, and in order for them to do this procedure they strapped my little girl from literally her head to her toes like a convicted felon. The nurse doing the procedure immediately strapped her down without having any sympathy that my little girl was scared. The front office staff was nice, but we do not recommend this dentist for pediatrics and will not be back.

The front desk staff are always nice and very quick. I never have to wait long. :)

I love how fast they get us in! Once we walk in the door, we usually are called back in a couple of minutes

Worst experience ever. Wont be back and I wont ever recommend. My 4 year couldnt take all the medicine they gave her to help her for the procedure, they still decided to do it. I went back to get her and she had been strapped down screaming and crying and had peed herself from being so scared! Worst experience ever.
