Banquet Hall is great for hosting events, parties or any personal occasion celebrations. We attended a Indian expo event and everything was great. From having an ample parking space to entrance. There are various halls with grand chandeliers. The rooms were nicely air conditioned to make the experience very comfortable.

Had a very great experience booking this hall for our event. Everything went very smooth. We worked with Irfan, and he did an excellent job making sure the event was how we wanted it to be.

Beautiful interiors and amazing food. It is big enough to accommodate 1200 people at a time.

This place is a gem. I had my sisters wedding on the 15th of May and we are so glad we went with Montys. Moreover, Amit made is real easy and was very knowledgeable ( And, he is super cute too 😍😍😍). From day one he was on top of things and really made it easy for us to execute the plan. The banquet is beautifully done, food was top notch and service was excellent. We would highly recommend Montys and if you want your event flawless, work with Amit.I have been there for a few quinceañeras last year and had the same experience.Thank you Montys Banquets for everything, God bless you all.

The owner is very untrustworthy. I reserved the banquet hall last March for my wedding but due to COVID we couldnt have large gatherings. I asked the owner within two days of reserving the hall if I can get a refund due to government restrictions and at that time he said yes but then after that he stopped taking my calls. When I tried from a different number, he picked up and then quickly hung up after I asked for my refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There was an organization doing COVID-19 testing & there was a very short line. I only had to wait a few minutes. It takes longer to fill out the paperwork than to actually take the nasal swab. Got my results when promised. Did not have an opportunity to experience the banquet facilities or their services.

Good place for family functions

Hello Everyone, I am a bit late with providing updates on my experience. So i guess its better late then never. My family and I are locals from Chicago we spent good money to do my brothers wedding at this hall on the even of Christmas Dec 24th. As you all may recall, it was a cold night and we had fresh snow that fell. Knowing very well its a wedding, the owners of the banquet hall should have known to clean up the parking lot. We have women and children and elderly coming in dressed up wearing high heels and dress shoes its very very slippers and dangerous. I had told the management 2x to clean the parking lot up as we got in early that night to take pictures professionally. I was assured it would be cleaned up prior to the guest when it wasnt. They claimed their truck is being used elsewhere. I dont think such a big organization should have 1 snow plow truck they should have had 1 for this location only. Anyways, that was 1 complaint and the other issue was they have 2-3 bars located in the hall we rented out. It was virtually impossibly to find a bartender or employee to serve drinks. Most of the workers were actually cleaning the tables instead of serving drinks. My father and I went to 2 diff bars to get coke and no worker was standing there at all. I had told management a couple of times they were present there which was good but after complaining a couple times nothing was done. The 2 reasons above caused me to write this review as honest as I can be and its small but it needs to be fixed for future customers especially those coming in the winter months in Chicago. All else was amazing, clean, new, upgraded chairs tables carpets, etc. Amazing place! Thanks!

After having my wedding at Monty’s I would never go there again. Literally 5 days before the wedding they decided to increase the prices per person despite what the contract stated knowing full well we had no time to look elsewhere. For anyone who is planning to book here I would recommend you to stay AWAY or ask them to type up a contract word by word on what they tell you, have it signed and keep a copy of all the payments made. The venue overall, came out looking nice however there were many mistakes. We told George we wanted the napkins hanging from the table and when we got there the napkins were put in the glasses instead. I am glad I caught that on time before the guests started to arrive. My florist spoke to the owner the day before asking if it was okay to start decorating at 10am and he told him yes. However, he failed to tell him that the linens were not going to come in until 2PM!! Later in the day the florist came to finish up decorating the venue and told George to light up the floating candles from the centerpieces, since the florist did not want to turn them on too early so they wouldn’t die. Well they FAILED to turn on the candles, I was so MAD!!! Also, during the cake cutting they FAILED to put a plate and 2 forks by the cake, it was embarrassing that my husband had to get a plate and a fork from the head table when everyone was looking. The stage was so uneven and since there were cracks in-between portions of the stage our chairs would get stuck and sink in the cracks. I the BRIDE almost felt down since the chair went between the cracks, which was embarrassing. It also happened to the bridal party!! To make matters worse George was trying to take my table numbers that I brought in. By the end of the night I gather all the numbers put them at the head table, I go upstairs to get my bags and when I return, I asked my husband if he grabbed the numbers and he said no. He asked George if he saw them and he lied saying no and then later he says they “might be” behind the bar and they were! Not to mention there was a brand-new Channel cologne by where the table numbers were which he tried to take as well. They also somehow lost my cake topper!! Overall, I would stay away from this venue! The owner is RUDE!! If I could I would go back and spend the extra money and go to a different venue I would have!! They were dishonest and very rude. My florist was very upset with how the manager and owner responded. Not to mention they also were questioning him whether the light he brought in were actually his. The venue was okay but the customer service is just very poor and the dishonesty and gouging us on pricing the week of the wedding was just poor business practice and unethical.

Excellent place. Brightly lit. Entrance & lobby very upscale. Bathrooms are super clean & well maintained.

Can’t believe the experience I had. It was a pleasure to work with George and Amit. True professionals at what they do. I only had a week to come up with a back up plan for a banquet hall that canceled on my daughter‘s wedding and they came through with an incredible price and great food. Wow just blown away

I had my wedding here on august 17th 2019 and the food was terrible. We were promised by the people that the food would be great and not to worry, but turns out it ended up being the total oppisite. If I knew the food would be full of spice I would have catered somewhere else. The food was spicy and no taste. If I had the option to give zero stars I would. Actually, I wish i could give negative stars. Get a new chef.

Please be aware that if you have a wedding at this place, come early! The parking is very difficult. And if the parking lot is full, there is not adequate street parking. Sometimes you have to awkwardly Park behind the banquet hall, which is difficult for big cars. Also, the reception at this banquet hall is not great. I could barely get any bars on my cell phone. However, the banquet hall is pretty and the service is awesome. They really know how to take care of their guests.

Staff was great. Food mediocre. Room set up crowded on to one side of the room.

I went to a wedding here and I have to say, these folks dropped the ball big time. Plenty of the guests had a high tolerance for spice but the food was spicy to the point of being inedible. Very few people ate their fill, those that did ended up regretting it later. Plenty of guests went home unhappy and with empty stomachs. It was a very special night for my friend, we were counting on Montys and they failed to deliver. I recommend you save your self the headache and take your business elsewhere. Your stomach will thank you.

Went for a sorority event and service was excellent. One of our people had a cold, and a very nice server repeatedly kept bringing her tea, I mean like 6 to 7 times. Thank you! The only problem is long wait times for bartender. But to be expected.

Attended a wedding here! Very elegant! Service was nice. Except for the waiters, their clothes were not tidy. Shirt was sticking out of pants. Other than that, it was a very nice experience!

I had my wedding here on August 17th 2019 and the food from montys was absolutely terrible. I do not recommend anyone to cater food from montys. You are better off catering food from somewhere else. I would give zero stars if I could on this review. The food was so spicy It was not even enjoyable.

This restaurant is absolutely disgusting and should be shut down by the health department. We booked a party here and the place reeked of a rotten, pungent stench and the food smelled old and unfresh. Additionally, there was hair found in the food and when we asked for a new tray, the manager, George, said they were out of food. George is so rude and talking to him won’t get you anywhere. Not only that, but he is also racist and made crude remarks to insult the people who are paying for his job in the first place. A disrespectful man who should be fired for how he treats not only customers but his employees too. I would not waste your time or money here as there are plenty of better restaurants anywhere. I wouldn’t even give one star if I could. Thank you, next.

Very very disappointing and worst experience at montys. It was my sons wedding on 17th August. The food was so bad hot spicy with no taste. I will never ever recommend anyone to go for Montys food. I would have given them 0 stars but there is no option. Each and everyone of my guests complained about the food. Never order food with montys.

Excellent is all I can say; I went for my friend’s wedding there tonight, and everything from the staff, the service and even food was amazing. I especially enquired about the food and found out it was Montys food; especially the Biryani was just too good!!!

I had been all the way from Jeddah to attend the function on 17th but was very disappointed when the food was served full of Chilly which was unable to be eaten. Worst ever food i have in my life from the cooking department of Monts Banquet.

I rented the full hall for my reception. It was great and there staff was also very professional and helpful.

Bad customer service. Their food is horrible and smelly. Waste of money. Manager George and owner Aftab are very rude and show no consideration to paying customers. They will not return phones calls or messages left. Have tried contacting them several times and no one will answer my call now or return my call. Shame on the manager George and especially the owner Aftab for also not returning phone calls. Would NEVER rent for an event or recommend. If I could give a negative 5 I would. Save your time and money and go else where.

Went to a quinceanera there. Looks like it was recently remodeled, and ina great way. Everything was clean, food was good, and service was nice.

The staff here makes things frustrating. Theyre really cheap about the food, they hid the fact that there were appetizers left over and pretended like they lost it. You need someone to really be watching the food otherwise they hide it and maybe keep it for themselves or something. This place used to be great about 5 years ago but lately theyve just become aggravating about price, setup, food, you name it. Servers were nice but the management show you attitude. We held my sisters engagement and wedding here and both times they created issues about food and would take away food without bringing out more. Everything else was nice like decoration, parking space, entrance. If they would just be more courteous with the hosts we would have recommended them.

One of the most disgusting unsanitary halls I have ever been to. Also have staff that come with a nasty attitude thirsty for a tip when she loses my coat as well. ....Very unprofessional!

Very bad service...Manager tries to haggle you to get more money on the day of the event. Food isnt served hygienically...Times the leftover from plates is transferred into the buffet. Make sure you have all the receipts of everything you have paid. Make sure you take a lawyer with you when your are signing any contracts with these guys because they violate the contract and agreed upon services at will on the day of the event when you are out of options and are forced to accept whatever they offer. Bathrooms arent clean and the smell bleeds through the hallways. Will never do business with them again.

Had a DJ program here, huge hall and nice people. People are kind and sweet.

Its a good place but they need to make sure few things like audio is working properly and food is enough and on time.

Clean, spacious and Inviting Ambiance. The reception I attended was for an Indian couple wedding reception. The one thing that impressed me was the Hyderabadi Biryani. You want the best biryani, this place has it. Too bad you cant just go in and just buy Biryani from this place.
