They fully tack the horse for riding lessons so that you get to enjoy riding for the full hour! Most places have you spend 20 minutes getting everything ready, and then they count it as part of your hour. And the rates are a tad less than other stables in southern NH. The staff is very friendly and sweet!

The stables were very accommodating and our trail guide, Linda, was fantastic. The horses we were paired with had very good temperaments. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trail ride in the area.

Had a wonderful trail ride today. I cant thank Lucky 7 enough for allowing my father-in-law to enjoy riding. He is visually impared and they matched him with a quiet horse and had a staff member lead him on the trail. Wonderful experience. I havent ridden in several years and was eager to be on a horse again. Lucky 7 didnt disappoint. Everyone there was friendly and professional. They accommodate every level of riding experience. Our leader Ernest was funny and even sang to us as we rode. I highly recommend them.

Amazing experience!! Everyone was so friendly. We have been to other trail ride places but this was the best! While we were waiting for the horses to come back from the previous trail ride we got to know a horse named Niko and his owner. I forgot the owner’s name but Niko is an amazing horse!! So gentle and he was giving kisses. The trail ride was so peaceful. All the horses were very good. We will be back many more times.

I went for a trail ride yesterday with a 12 and 9 year old. We all had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The trail was really beautiful with very few bugs. We’ve had an unusually high amount of rain this summer and the trail was very muddy in places, but the horses didn’t seem to have any problem with that. The horses were all very calm, but one was very hungry and tried to eat leaves throughout the ride. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to others.

Great first lesson for my 8 year old. Over coming first jitters and gaining confidence, even lazy Morgan gave in. Fun times. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely LOVED this experience. The horses are well cared for and well behaved. Great and knowledgeable trail guides. One of the guides sang cowboy ballads as we rode. He had a great voice and made the experience so authentic! Next time we are in NH we will absolutely revisit.

Had a great experience taking my 8-year old on a trail riding. Ernest was the group trail leader and took care of my daughter and made sure she was comfortable even though she started out being intimidated and a bit scared. Ernest even serenaded us with some songs along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride and highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Such a great experience yesterday on the trail ride. I took my 8 & 10 year old granddaughters. The 10 year, Briella, takes lessons and did fine but Addison (the 8 year old) got frightened when she got on the horse, so Linda one of the staff members, walked with her horse the entie length chatting with Addison. Ernest, our trail leader, added to the experience by singing a couple of cowboy songs along the way even! They both want to go again! Im going to schedule a couple of private lessons for Addison I think. Staff is so friendly & knowledgeable and prices reasonable! Definitely going back!

I rode here for about 6 months i believe and this place is just not great. i was taking lessons at another barn in delaware before i moved here. i have several problems with this place. their lesson horses are stubborn as can be and love to bolt constantly. i understand some days when a horse does not want to cooperate but not every lesson. i was also riding three different horses experiencing the same thing. this is not how horses should be acting. i also know that it is not my fault as a rider because i have ridden many different horses at other places and never had this happen. another reason is that my trainer was awful. she would just tell me to “go and play”. she was getting paid to teach me and should be telling me to do riding exercises but instead it was the same thing being done every lesson. i was never improving. at my previous barn i was learning to canter and i was ready for it, but here i only cantered a handful of times all of which was from the horse bolting. my last reason is that this barn has way too many horses for the number of people working there and for the land they have. the place is dirty, rundown, and the barns are in need of serious improvements as well as better lighting. no barn needs 40 some horses. they have taken on way too much. do not board your horses here. back in march i moved barn because i was so done of wasting my money. my new barn is clean and ive improved so much. these horses are also very well behaved. the only reason this place has the ratings it does is because theyre all from trail riders who know nothing about horses. ive taken trail rides here 3 years ago and the trail horses were fine but i do not believe giving money to a place like this is right. ive contemplated on writing this but i think that people wanting their kids riding here should know the truth about this place.

I have been trail riding there for over 20 years they are the most reasonable place around as far as price and quality in 25 years they have only gone up on the price twice its very reasonable $35 an hour for trail riding $50 for a 1 hr lesson.

We decided to book a trail ride here to do something fun to end our lake vacation. I am so happy we did this! Our guide Ernesto was great, he even sang cowboy songs while we rode! The horses were beautiful and you can tell they are cared for very well. The ride was through the woods and very pleasant and the guides are super helpful no matter what your skill level is. My family and I had a great experience with Lucky 7 Stable... They say it looks can be deceiving and that’s exactly what this was it looks funny on the outside but it’s absolutely beautiful on the inside. So don’t let that scare you away. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! I ended up bringing 2 people and also my 4 month old baby who would not be riding along but still wanted to come. They accommodated them great and the lady in the registration office went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable so I greatly appreciated that. My father and brother and little guy enjoyed their time just as much even though they didn’t ride. The rest of the group was assisted by Casey (sorry if I have the wrong spelling) she was a great guide. She was very friendly and even answered random questions I had without hesitation. This is something I would definitely do again!!! Thanks for the great time and allowing my daughter to have a great birthday!!!

We had a terrific trail ride!

All horse back riding locations in Massachusetts where booked so we came here instead. Bruce was very nice over the phone and the check in process was a breeze. $35 for about 45mins- 1 hour I felt was pretty reasonable. They take you through trails in the woods on their property which was pretty cool, it gave you a western experience. Good for beginners or first timers. Will probably return

Had a great time horseback riding!

Staff were amazing, and the horses are lovely. The trail was fairly nice, No real views so if you aren’t looking for a view you’ll enjoy it that much more. Only reason I am not giving it more stars is because they are not so understandable. Family member was scared to go on trail because they were frighten by the horse at first. Not once did staff offer to switch or guide the horse for my member. We didn’t even know that was an option until I asked for a refund. Then I got a run around excuse along the lines “you made a reservation so we were not able to hold that spot for others” I was unaware of my reservation since when I called in they just asked for my name and time I was planning to arrive and card. Being my first time going I assumed this is what they do. On the trail ride there was only me, family member, and two others. I overheard one of the staff members say “this is a very small group” meaning they were not expecting more and more were able to come if they wanted to.

This place is awful. I went there when I was 5 years old for lessons and the horse trotted off with me the first day. Then I left. Went back for a trail ride that was fun. But then found out moose was for lease my mother talked to the owners and said he was for lease and they would sign the lease and show us around. Then we go there and suddenly he’s already leased, we have to pay for vet bills, and they were rude. They are there for the money and I honestly feel bad for these horses.

My family and I had a great time we literally went once last week and then came back again yesterday !!!🤩 The people are great very very nice and you can tell they love and treat the horses amazing.. the houses are so beautiful, friendly and well behaved.my 8 year old son had the house named rummy he was SO good and gentle..all the houses are great.. We will DEFINITELY be go back again and recommending lucky 7 to all our family and friends..Your truly the Alcantaro family

Took a nice trail ride on 8/30/2019. The staff were amazing, the horses were great. It was a great time and you can really tell that they take very good care of their animals. Definitely looking to go back in the near future

Earnest is a fantastic trail ride leader. He was really warm and genuine.The staff were very understanding and accommodating as I asked for a more laid back horse and they put me on tex, a beautiful small spotted horse that was well tempered and gentle.Ive been twice now, and this barn makes you feel at home. Its not fancy, or over the top. But its comforting and reminds me of how riding used to be for me as a kid.

The trail ride was awesome. My horse, Ryder, was well trained and groomed. The guides/trainers were friendly and knowledgeable. I expect it to be 60 to 100 dollars per person but it was only 30!!! Ill definitely be back, this was a way better fall activity than apple picking.

I brought my granddaughter for lessons and the lesson was so wonderful yeah for Donna the teacher. My 5yrold granddaughter loved it and enjoyed her technics ! Reasonably priced at 35.00 per a half hour

The staff members were very nice and flexible with time. Reasonable pricing. The horses (moose, bear and paw) were cute but caused some naughty troubles. My friend and I were both fine, she said it was quite funny. (Maybe it’s because she pet the cat right before the trail and they might be a little bit upset about the scent) I just want to say thank you to the staff members who were trying to make it a better experience for me and my friend. It was actually fine and please don’t scold the horses because of the little incident.

We had a great time with the kids. My sister lives right down the street from Lucky 7 and whenever we visit her the kids see the horses and want to go riding and this time we finally did it and we all had a blast!My husband is a big guy and he rode the big Belgium horse Dude who was so sweet and gentle.The staff was very helpful and the horses are beautiful.We are definitely going back again.

I took my daughter and her bff today. My daughter and I have ridden before but her friend, it was her first time. We had a wonderful time. The horses are so beautiful.Ernest, I believe that was his name, was wonderful. He sang cowboy songs which made the ride even better.

I had a blast. It was my first time riding and I am honestly hooked! I want to ride every day! My horse was being a bit naughty sometimes, but it was cute and made it all the more fun.

The owner was amazing! A horse I ride with was trained here and the owner gave me his registered papers to give to his current owner. They also now own one of the horses from my barn because he didnt work out in an English barn. It was so nice to see him happy in his new job. The horses are very well taken care of.The trail ride itself was great. Ernest, our trail leader, was engaging and had an uncanny resemblance to Ed Harris cowboy character in HBOs Westworld. Im a seasoned English rider and brought my boyfriend who has never been on a horse before. Its very beginner friendly and was a relaxing ride for an advanced rider. The horses know their job and follow the leader in front of them with little required from the rider. I rode Boomer and he was wonderful.

I bring my 6 year old granddaughter there for lessons and it is fantastic. Donna is wonderful and everyone we have dealt with is personable and experienced. The customer service is great and I would recommend the facility for anyone. My granddaughter is learning well and Donna has the patience of a saint. The prices are reasonable and they provide all the equipment needed. From what I am told the prices for their boarding and taking care of the horses are very good as well. If we end up getting a horse for Ysabelle, we will board at this facility.

Office reeks of cigarette smoke so you need to douse eyes with eye drop fluid, take a second shower, and wash clothes immediately after horse ride. Bear likes to bite horses in front. Horses retaliate by kicking bear the horse. Pecking order of horse dominance. Relaxing ride for an hour. Independent lessons offered during the week.

My husband and I decided to do something different for our 1st anniversary so i decided that since i had never been horse back riding we should give it a go,the people at lucky 7 are great.Jim and I went riding on Aug. 28th 2012 and i was very nervous i always found horses a little scary do to their size,but they made me feel very much at ease even when i couldnt get my big butt up on the horse and needed to use the bigger step they quickly made me feel better and less self conscious about it.My horse was named Paco (i hope i spelled it right) he was a very well behaved horse and put me much at my ease. I will definitely come back and see them again and i will definitely ask for Paco again,i had a great time and the trail was lovely

My daughter is 3 years old and recently diagnosed with autism. For the past year or so she’s had a strong attachment to horses, from afar. Never met a horse. Watching horses on TV or wanting every horse toy invented.I scheduled her very first encounter with a horse at the Lucky 7 Stables. We just moved to New Hampshire and we weren’t sure where to go then I found this place on the internet. Boy am I glad I found this place!!The moment we walked in we were immediately greeted by a lady working in the registration office, I feel terrible for forgetting her name but there was so much excitement with my daughter that forgot. She was so helpful and made my daughter, Addison and I feel so welcomed.Later on we were greeted by a lady named Donna (made sure to remember her name LOL) who was going to be giving Addy her riding lesson. She told Addy and I to hangout in one of the stables to visit with the other horses while she got the one we would be working with, Glory, ready for the ride.The horses in the stable were so beautiful and docile and my daughter quickly approached the horses with no fear. She first met Maxine who later became my favorite - she likes to give armpit nudges, haha!!!Addison hopped on Glory for the first time and looked like she’s been riding horses for years aside from her favorite rocking horse she has at home. 3 years old and she grasped some of the handling gestures (to get the horse to move or stop) right away!Donna was so pleasant and my normally socially resistant daughter warmed up to her fast. I liked her a lot, too!!!The lesson was finished and I knew immediately that we would be coming back - I even want to volunteer to brush the horses hair after they finish rolling around in the mud to give Donna a break before she rides them lol. They like to give Donna a hard time. 🤣As we were leaving the lady from earlier that works in the registration office brought me over some contact information to get my daughter started in a program for autistic children so Addy can ride horses more for therapeutic lessons. I wish I remembered her name she was so helpful to do that for me.I think I just wrote a book!! That just goes to show you how excited I was after leaving Lucky 7 Stables...they made my daughter feel special and that makes this mommy extremely appreciative!!!!! ❤️🐎
