I’ve been going to WVB for over two years and get my haircut from Allan. He’s super detail focused and is a total professional. One of the best barbers in the West village area. If you want a high quality barber you need to go to him! Also the price of a haircut is a great deal compared to other barbers in the village.

Every haircut Ive had over the past several years has been perfect. Isaac always has me looking my best, no matter which haircut I request. Generally he knows just what I like, though he checks if I want anything different, and has made suggestions which resulted in a better cut.Isaac is very friendly, offers great conversation, professional and thorough. The cut finishes with a hot or cool towel massage. Hes often in demand and well worth any wait if I cant visit at an off-peak time.The shop, in this new location, is more spacious than previous spot next door, allowing more comfortable seating, products for sale, bottled water in a smart, vibrant atmosphere with chill music / videos. Prices are reasonable, the shop is conveniently located to subways and PATH.

Barber Anis started to cut my hair when I moved to nyc! He use to be in Brooklyn but moved his workplace to manhattan. I travel all the way from Brooklyn just because of his amazing service! He truely is a professional and one of the best barbers in the West village area. If you want a high quality barber you need to go to him!

Great haircuts with nice attention to detail, similar quality to nearby places that charge 2x as much. They also do beard trims with a hot towel to finish (though not during the pandemic)

Went there today to get a standard hair cut. Nothing special. The guy who cut my hair appeared to not know what he was doing at all. He messed up my hair and cut the back of my neck with the straight razor. See photo. Definitely avoid this place.

What better place to get a haircut then the WV. ISAAC was the bomb! Meticulous, no rush and super nice! Best haircut I have gotten in a long time! Cant beat the price when Ive paid 4x for my haircuts.

As someone who had a shaved head for 11 yrs and decided to grow it out, this was probably the best place to go for my first haircut. They helped me figure out what cut would look good and how to maintain it.

Asked the lady for a fade and shave.. they ripped me off an extra 10$ from their listed pricing and it took 2 hours... the fade was horrible and she knicked the heck out of my skin and caused a lot of irritation... literally the worst barber shop I’ve been to
