This place and the workers are top notch! My experience started with Stephanie.. I had to contact a collision shop within my insurance and she was super friendly and helpful with all my questions, her friendliness and knowledge made me go with them. The mechanic Charles, called me with updates weekly, like he promised to. My vehicle took a bit longer than they anticipated due to parts not being delivered when promised, due to the back orders from the Pandemic and lack of .. well everything. My car looked amazing!! They did a great job! Start to finish.. with no hiccups, they cant control... I highly recommend!

I’m not sure if there is enough room for me to tell you. I worked with Matthew and I can tell you he did everything and beyond to get the work done in a timely manner ... he called and updated me every step of the way... the staff member made sure I was comfortable with paperwork ( sorry I don’t remember her name) This was the second time I had work on my car ... a few years back. Again Excellent service .. Trust me I will recommend your company to anyone I talk to I appreciate everything that was done for me. Thank You very much

This place really put me in a bad position. They misrepresented to me and my insurance company their ability and the time they needed to fix a ping-pong ball size dent by almost double the amount of time. They told my insurance company and myself after looking at the vehicle that it would take up to 5 days. I dropped the vehicle off on the day they requested and 2 days later they emailed me an updated time scheduled for completion. In total, 9 days. No phone call to discuss the issues or if I was even able to leave the vehicle there for that amount of time. Considering I only made arrangements for the 5 days to be without a car.....Im in pretty bad shape.

The staff here is amazing to work with. They took the time to explain my repair and I really felt like I understood what was done to my car. It did take a very long time because of the GM union strikes but they were able to keep me updated. I really appreciate the staff and all the hard work of the guys in the back. Great job.

I never received an estimate as to when my car would be ready. I had to call to find out about my car. They said they called me, but, I found no record of missed call or a voicemailThe air pressure on my tires had been tampered with. Ranging from 14-60. When I brought it in, it was ranging 27-31. When I took my car in for the tires, a nail was found in the tire. I ended up buying two new tires. I needed tires anyway, but would have appreciated thee Ed m telling me about the nail fir my safety.The repair work was fine, but the customer service was enough for me to never go back to Gerber, nor recommend it

You guys were amazing and did quality work. Disappointed with the amount of money I pay, I thought Esurance would have covered all damages done. But insurance companies are crooks. Thank you guys for an amazing job. Will recommend you to everyone.

Minor work I have some do was great. Customer service was on point as well. The only problem I had was my blazer needed to be shipped to a dealer to fix the sensor, holding it up a couple of days extra

Gerber has repaired my car twice now (two different incidents). Both times they have provided excellent service and communication throughout the process. This last time was super fast and thorough. They even worked to make sure Id get my car back before I flew out on vacation. They go above and beyond and do great work. Very happy with the service I received.

I had a phenomenal experience with Gerber Collision and Glass. They kept me updated on the status of my vehicles repairs almost every day, and even kept the shop open late to work around my jobs schedule when it was time for me to pick up my vehicle. Once they were done working on my car, you couldnt even tell it had been in an accident. I would highly recommend working with them, and I will be using them for all future repair work!

I am from out of town and was borrowing a friends vehicle. I was in an accident on the front and rear bumpers. They were able to get it fixed for me and helped coordinate everything. The office staff was extremely helpful in explaining the process and taking the time with me. My friend says the car looks even better than before the accident.

First Time dealing with your company and I was impressed with the customer service. My truck was towed into the Ann Arbor location but they were backed up, they were able to send it to the Livonia Gerber to get to it sooner. I use my truck for work and was down a truck, so this was a huge help. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the service provided. I was kept informed during the entire process and the repairs to my F-150 were completed a week before I expected them. I know both teams really went out of their way to get this done sooner for me. I created this account just to make this review, that is how impressed I was.

Great customer service! They repaired the front end of my car after I hit a pole. The process went smoothly and I was updated of the status along the way. After it was all fixed I did experience some issues with my engine light coming on. They promptly took my car back in, gave me a rental and spent extra time figuring out what was wrong internally. I worked with Matthew and he called me daily with updates. Awesome experience!!!

The RS bumper for my SE has been painted, woot, and they swapped the SE parking sensors into the RS one by drilling holes, very smooth job even with it being original damaged on the corner, I highly recommend Gerber auto collision shop.

Thank you for taking care of my Trax. Everyone was very friendly, and helpful. They let me know what was going on with my car, and did warn me that there may be a delay due to the union strikes. I was fine with the delay as I wouldnt be needing the car for a while. The delay wasnt all that long so everything worked out well.

I have an auto claim and I chose Gerber collision to have my car repaired. I came in on a Saturday and the experience was pleasant. They looked at my car to assess it so that they might order parts. I then scheduled the date to have my car repaired. At the time that I scheduled, I let the young lady know that I would need a rental car. I joked to give me a really nice one and she said they had no control over that and that it would depend on what my insurance would pay. I showed up after missing 2 1/2 hours of work to drop my car off, get my rental car and head to work. There was no rental car available. The young lady at the counter stated that she didn’t know why she didn’t write down a rental car. She proceeded to call Enterprise and they do not have any cars available. I was asked who I told that I wanted one as if I might not have told someone that I wanted a rental car. They offered to drive me to work. I work an hour away and I use my car for my job. Furthermore, I did not want to ride in the car with someone I didn’t know for two hours today. She spoke to a gentleman named Matt who told her that at this point we would just have to reschedule the repair. No apologies were extended and it seems as though they weren’t even taking accountability for the mistake. I know them I would not be rescheduling with them and that I would find another place to do business with. Young lady at the counter went and told Matt that I did not want to reschedule with them. She was clearly told to bring my car back around and send me on my way. The kid who took my car To wash it brought it back around, I met him at the door right in front of the counter and held my hand out for my key. And a quite unfriendly way he told me you could not give the key to me and that he had to hand it to her and sort of dismissively walks past me. Rather than asking the young lady who was probably 10 feet away if you could give me the key. Anyway, I understand mistakes happen and I would’ve been happy to overlook them since I had a good experience when bringing my car in for them to look at the first time. I decided to go somewhere else because I wasn’t offer an apology, Felt like they might’ve thought it was my fault and even when the manager was involved he didn’t bother to come out and talk to me or apologize. I CALLED BACK, they DID NOT call me, and let them know how I felt about that and why I decided to go somewhere else. I spoke with Matt and he did apologize for what I was going through and said that they would work on that in the future. I did appreciate that, but it was too late already.

I came in last week with my husband as we were told by our insurance agent that we could bring the car in and drop it off for repairs. When we got there some asian guy rudely told us to take it elsewhere. I was very taken back and offended he talked to me that way he did. I told them that they are going to loose business if they talk and treat people that way. He didnt even blink and replied that yes he would change things. I told them we only brought the vehicle to them because our insurance agent recommended them. I called my agent back and told them to stop telling people to bring their vehicles to them.

I was in a pretty bad accident and was upset that my car was smashed up and didnt run anymore. When it was done though it was worth all the wait, its looked awesome. The entire time I was pleasantly surprised how helpful everyone was and how amazing they made my car look. If I ever get in another accident I will be coming back here.

They fixed my car last year after I was in a bad accident. The car took almost a month to fix, it was a huge amount of work and was almost 10,000 dollars in total. This year I had an engine light come on. I took it to the dealership and they told me that the O2 sensor was going bad. I called Gerber and they were so very helpful in helping get me a new sensor and get it put in for me. This is a one stop shop and Matthew really went out of his way to help me out. If I ever have anything wrong with my car Ill call Matthew and team Gerber. They do great work!!!!!!!!!

The people here went above and beyond :)Someone knocked my bumper out and scraped it, they fixed it within a day and also fixed a scratch I had too! Didnt even mention it to them, they just saw it and took care of things.My car is my pride and joy. Its nothing very special, but its special to me and I am so appreciative.Highly recommend.

I took my car in over a week ago for an estimate. They took pictures and said they would send the estimate the next day. They did not send the estimate so I called them asking if they could send it. He took my email address for the second time and said he would email it and then call me back. Again, he never sent it. It’s now been over a week and I still haven’t got my estimate. If you’re too busy to fix my car, that’s fine, but just tell me. How can I trust you to fix my car if you can’t even send me an email telling me how much it’ll cost? And now after a week of not hearing back I have to take my car elsewhere considering it was still in an accident and still needs to be fixed.

Horrible service they called me and told me to bring my car in for repair. When I got their I was told I could not drop off my car. The kid up front tried to lie to me and say that the insurance sent me their but I know they just didnt want to work on my car. They didnt even seem to care about the damage on my Buick or that the side doors wouldnt even open. I ended up calling my own insurance and told them to not send any more customers here. Please save your time and dont go here.

My insurance sent me here. I only went here because they were preferred auto shop. They said the schedule was 2 months out and they could nat help me. The girl who helped me outside was rude told me they could help me inside. The did not help me inside but instead said 2 months. What a joke 2 months haha

Skined the door & replace the fender I noticed the funny noise when I open the passenger door one of the door hinges was never tighten down . Started looking further into it the inner fender well was missing two fasteners was ready to fall out took it back to them tighten up the bolts put in the missing bolts a week later I’m on to the hood I noticed they didn’t tighten down all the fender bolts what a joke ! Biggest hacks I’ve ever come across . If I could post the videos I would ? Plus this is a fleet vehicle I will be contacting the insurance company (ARI )

I was in an accident at the beginning of the month. I brought my car to Gerber Collision because it worked with my insurance company. I am glad I did! Even though it was more expensive than I thought it would be they did great work (thank God insurance covered it) and it didnt take as long as they originally said. They handled everything with the insurance company, they called and gave multiple updates! Everyone was so nice, polite and helpful. Jeremy is the guy to talk to! If God forbid anything like this happens again, I will definitely go to them without hesitation!

Horrible customer service. Has had my truck since June 20, 2016. They did body work first and fail to check engine when I told them it had a noise after the accident. Now supposedly I need a new motor my frustration is that all this information should have been on orginal quote so my insurance is aware that we have to have a new motor. On top of all the body work. So they have a chance to total the car instead of paying for the body repair than finding out motor is bad now and needs to be repaired because you failed to address it. I firmly believe that my insurance company would of totalled the vehicle if they where aware of the motor as well as all the body repair. Now it seems like I cant get any answers seems to me Jeremy dropped the ball on the over all estimate for my insurance company. Now it seems kinda weird he no longer works there. Truck is still at shop. Please let me know how we are going to fix this situation.

I brought my vehicle to this shop last summer after a minor accident. First of all, the repairs took almost 2 weeks. Today, I brought my vehicle in to a different shop in town because it was having issues, and the mechanic informed me that the parts they installed are completely wrong for my vehicle and have been damaging my car. I am 100% going to be contacting my insurance company to hopefully get my money back - DO NOT GO HERE.

Collex collision has got to be the worst shop i have ever had to deal with. I work for a dealership, and my wife was in an accident. The car was towed to the shop, i went and assest the damages. They called me within 3 days and they started the claim. took them more than 21 days to get the car back to me. finally when i got the vehicle back, the door locks did not work, the alignment was off, the interior was full of black handprints. Tim was the worst human being to talk to. He seemed as if nobody matter but him. I took the vehicle despite these things being wrong. Talked to insurance company and tried to get these issues taken care of. My wife drove the vehicle for 4 days. after the second day she noticed a knocking noise on the left front side, where they had done the repairs. When they had fixed the whole left front side, they replaced the strut, hub, hub bearing, control arm, and all of the cosmetic pieces. My wife brought the vehicle to my shop where i had put the vehicle on a hoist, and come to find out the control arm bolt was left loose. i have contacted the BBB, and there corporate offices. I have 3 witnesses for the bolt being loose, as to what the noise my wife was hearing. I also took pictures of it so i can take to court. I have recorded every phone call i had with Tim so i can have all the evidence i can in court. Tim was very rude and blaming everyone else for the problems that occurred with the vehicle. Gasoline was syphoned out of the car. I have reciepts that prove i had filed up day before the accident. All in all i will never send another one of my vehicles back there. For the price of the damages, they should have totalled the vehicle out. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO COLLEX COLLISION ON PLYMOUTH AND MERRIMAN.TIM AND AL ARE THE WORST PEOPLE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. i have reported everyone that worked on the vehicle to the state of michigan, BBB, and corporate. I will not stop there, I will pursue legal actions against this company. They are pushovers and try to blame everything on wear and tear or someone else. THIS COMPANY SUCKS. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE.
