I have found my new mechanic shop! I had car trouble within a mile of the shop and gave them a call after a few calls to other shops said they couldn’t help. I was so close to them that I could see that they were busy but they got me right in, were super friendly and had me on the road again within a half an hour. I was having a tough day and this made my whole day better!. While I was waiting I spoke with a customer who was waiting for her car and she said they are just amazing, knowledgeable and honest. I am sending everyone I know to the shop. Thank you so much for going above and beyond!

This place is awesome! I have a car shop i usually go to but theyre always busy or never call back. This place took me in on the same day my car broke down! Theyre really nice people, methodical, super efficient and professional. I think I found a new car shop to go to for now on instead of my other car place.

Total Car Care will be our new go-to auto shop! Now we know our old auto shop has been overcharging us for years! Both my car and my husbands car needed to be repaired at the same time. They repaired both cars (one car needed spark plugs & a tune up and the other car needed a thermostat & water pump) in one day! So affordable and honest. I thought I would need a new alternator, but they were honest about only needing spark plugs to get my car starting again. I wish I had the opportunity to have met them in person (my husband and mother actually went to the shop while I was at work), but they were very respectable over the phone. Will go here from now on!

Moe was a lifesaver today! I had been air in my tire all day to finally realize there was screw in my tire. Although the business was closed, I asked nicely if Moe could help me out by plugging my tire. He didn’t hesitate and obliged the request…thanks Moe you were really appreciate today!!!

I had the spindal off and a new ball joint. They said 150 DOLLARS. Are you serious. This place is highway robbery. But I am a female that works on cars. They know that is way to much just to press in a ball joint. A place not far from them did it for 30 dollars. Watch who works on your car and dont get over charged.

The whole shop was efficient and fast! My ball joint came off near their shop and they got me in and I was back on the road in 2 hours on a Saturday right before the 4th of July! Amazing service, kind staff, and very knowledgeable about their craft. As I sat, I watched them fix cars and move them out. First time Ive ever seen a mechanic shop with less cars being serviced and more cars ready to be picked up. I definitely will be coming back for all of my car needs!

I had a nail in my front tire and stopped by the local tire shop (Belle T!re) across the street and they told me that I could come back on Monday and they could look at it then. When can someone wait 3 days with a nail in a tire to have it repaired? Doesnt sound safe. I had not noticed Total Car Care (Livonia) before and I decided I would stop by and see if the could do better. I walked in asked if they could repair my tire and they asked me to pull up to the bay. They not only fixed my tire in 5 minutes, they did it free of charge. I will be back in the future for my other car repair needs.Thank you, Total Car Care Team!

Tried to use roadside assistance through my insurance. First told 90 min. then told an additional 45 min. Then told another 40 min. I finally just cancelled. Will make sure my insurance is aware. Good thing I wasnt in a bad area waiting.

I went to 3 different shop for a simple removal of a rotor screw and was told they couldnt do it. I decided to stop at Total car care in Livonia and they got it done in less then 10 minutes. Something I athletics with for hours using YouTube videos they got done with no problem at all. I greatly appreciate the service.

I have been taking my very old minivan here for many years. They have kept my van on the road. I keep going back because they dont try to sell me repairs I dont need and prices are fair.

My experience with TOTAL CAR CARE in Livonia was nothing short of a blessing. I had experienced a complete transmission failure after striking a pothole in the street. I had never had issues with my transmission beforehand, but was told that the damage was internal. After speaking to my dealership and them informing me that my powertrain warranty expired 2 years prior, I turned to my insurance company PROGRESSIVE. At first PROGRESSIVE informed me that I was covered under my policy but quickly after receiving the shops $3700 estimate of damages they denied my claim. Stating that they had no physical proof the pothole damaged my transmission. The timing of all of this was horrible. I just experienced two deaths in my family and just agreed to 2 weeks of overtime to catch up on my bills. I did not have $3700 to pay anyone. All through this ordeal Moe at TOTAL CAR CARE was supportive and professional. He kept me in the loop about my car and what was going on. On the day my insurance company forced me to return the rental car, because they refused to pay the claim. Moe called me with some good news. He told me that my car was fixed and that I can come pick it up. I didnt have all the money and he worked out a plan with me that would get me back on the road that same day. I would like to thank him and his team over at TOTAL CAR CARE. When everyone deserted me those guys didnt. I cried for days not knowing if Id lose my job or my mind 1st. Were all going through something in life and when things like this happen its good to have someone in your corner. Im happy to have had these wonderful men in mines. Id advise anyone whos looking for dependable, trustworthy honest vehicle repair work done. To trust these guys with your vehicle they are legit. I couldnt believe how my car was after the repair they made it ride like it was brand new again and during the covid no one helps you out more then total car care they are hard working people and they understand we got to get out cars back on the road to get back to our jobs.thank you for treating me like family

They send a tow truck driver to tow my vehicle that does not start due to an electrical problem that drains a new battery overnight. The tow driver decided that it is a good idea to change gear from park forcibly while the car is dead. By doing so, the transmission sounded awful and then driver asked me if it is a rear or front wheel drive. It is an all-wheel drive Mercedes that you just damaged because of reckless, irresponsible and unprofessional job. This incident occurred on 5/3/2021. To top it off, the driver uses one chain to pull the SUV and the chain pushed up on the bumper until I warned him about his second mistake. His answer it is ok. Of course, it is okay, it is not his money. See photos. Total Car Care wanted to make it right and check transmission for damages caused by them. The issue is that they kept towing the truck from one location to another with no progress. It was not a priority for them. On 5/14/2021, I picked up the car key from the front desk since the SUV was still sitting outside waiting to be checked. I called a tow truck and then I received a call from Mo telling me that the car is being worked on and cannot be picked up. I proceeded to tell him that I got the key and the car is sitting outside and it is not being worked on. On that same day the car was towed again to Mercedes dealership to check the transmission damage caused by Total Car Care. Total Car Care also does not provide you with another vehicle. They just damage your vehicle and you just have to sit and wait. LET ME BE CLEAR ABOUT THIS. It will be a while before I get my vehicle back but I will make sure that this will not happen to someone else.

My alternator failed. The tow truck was prompt. The driver, Ravon, was courteous, professional, skillful and careful with getting my car out of a difficult position and on to the tow truck bed. What more can you ask for?

They the best shop I ever went to. They made sure my car was perfect before giving it back. And true to they work. My car had so much problems and they fix all of them for a great price. Moe and Sam make sure and the guys in the back make sure you took in care of.

They should change their name to TOTAL F’N BS! 4 F’N hours after requesting a tow (through Progressive, which Progressive should stop doing business with them) they tell me I should call someone else, they’re too busy. They should have told me that one of the three F’N times I called them for an update. F TOTAL CAR CARE! A complete dumpster fire of a company.

Complete scam. This place says it has free quotes/estimates for car repairs but then they came back saying $300 (normally I charge 400 but for you Ill do it for 300) to look at the car and including the repairs even though they didnt know what was wrong with it at the time.

What I thought would be a for sure week long wait for repairs. After they called me and got some info, within 24 hours my car was ready. These guys could have absolutely charged me out the wazoo. Absolutely awful. I waited for 1 1/2 hrs. for a tow truck. They said they arrived on the app and nobody showed up. I called them and they lied to me and said their tow truck broke down. Pathetic.

This place is absolutely amazing! My tire blew on the way home from work. It was towed to this shop. I must have called 6 times the next day trying to see what was happening with my car. I myself, would have been annoyed if I worked at this business, and had already explained to the customer it was a very busy day. The staff however, was so kind each and every phone call. Fully understood that I was stressed trying to figure out if I could even afford to get it fixed and how I would be getting to work until my car was ready. They fixed my tire that day, at no cost to me! They had already stayed after business hours so I could pick up my car right away, and then stayed even longer to talk to me about all my options for getting a new vehicle! The car I have now has too many issues. I just need it to get me by while I save for a new one. As a single mom of two, that is not easy, but the people here took some of the burden away. This is a very long review, but I felt you needed all the details to see how much they did for me. I do not have enough words to express how grateful I am and how wonderful this company is! Highly recommend! All around caring, honest, good people, who just wanted to help me get out of the tough spot I am in. You dont find too many places like that these days. I can not thank them enough! I will be going back when I am ready to get my new car and for any future repairs!

I stopped in yesterday, Wednesday 01/29/2020. I had a problem with the lock on the trunk of my car it totally was not connecting to the lock at all. So I was driving around for two weeks with my trunk unlocked. I explained it as best I could to Al (Great Guy!) he came out took a look at it. and in two minutes had my lock fixed. He was attentive, kind professional as well as welcoming. Aside from all of that he charged me Absolutely Nothing! This was my first time there he didnt know me from a can of paint. I have already been spreading the word to family and friends about the kindness and great customer service I received. They will be joining for any future needs for car care & service. Good Service fixed my car

When I bought my first used car, it had a few problems that needed to be fixed. I came to Total Car Care because of the great reviews and location. After they fix my car within a reasonable time, I was back on the road knowing my car is safe to drive with no problems. On top of that they have the best prices in any other car repair shop around the area. Highly recommend if you need a place to get your car worked on and back on the road within a reasonable time.

This shop is amazing, not only do they greet you as soon as you walk in but they are honest and do not up sell. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Moe who ensured his team will take care of me. When my car was done Hassan explained to me the work that was done in layman’s terms. They DO NOT overcharge . They DO NOT lie. They treat you as family. Very quick service, they have gained a lifetime customer!

In the last few weeks, we have spent around $2000 at this facility, they have replaced transmission lines, all four brake rotors, all four brake calipers and pads, and front wheel bearings. They have been very professional and friendly, they have given us timelines for the work and kept it. When we had the bearing and front brakes done, the key to our locking lug nuts disappeared and they were kind enough to but us new ones. I am not the type of guy that runs to a mechanic every time I need something done, I am usually handy enough to do most things myself, but when I replaced the back brakes, calipers and rotors and had an issue still, I took it to these guys, and instead of berating me, they found the issue, which was the parts store gave me a wrong part, and they fixed it for me at a very reasonable cost. I will definitely continue to use the gentleman.

They took advantage of a novice customer. We have a car that would not get cool(only slightly). We went in for an AC recharge and the gentleman(Mo was his name) said he would charge and test. He found out the Compressor is shot, did not ask to evacuate the new freon while we shop for a new one. He told us $950 new or $750 used. We declined both for a second opinion. After calling our mechanic friend, he explained they could have removed the freon and gave a nominal charge. Instead now we will be replacing the Compressor $317 at AutoZone/OReilly new. We have lost the freon in the old compressor, and will now have to recharge again. Sometimes a little help goes a long way. What was going to be $950 now looks like $550-$600. Take someone with you that knows about cars...please.
