Had to wait a couple weeks to get my van in for an alternator and gear shift lever tightened up and an oil change. Was worth every penny to feel like I was not being scammed. Every thing was explained in detail what they had to fix and how much it would cost. VERY VERY HONEST PEOPLE. Finally found my go to auto mechanics! All the 5 star reviews are correct! Nice bunch of people.. Thankyou

Ive had our cars at Stus since 2005, and have never been disappointed. He has an innate understanding of cars and what could be going on inside them that is beyond what you can get from a computer readout. Hes always considerate and understanding of people who want to keep their cars on the road rather than jump into a new lease car, and he always gives the breakdown of cost vs value. I trust him implicitly.

Stay away. We took 2 separate vehicles here and he told us he couldnt fix them, and then told us to take them to the junk yard. We took them to another location and they fixed them both and they couldnt believe this guy told us to junk our cars. Hes looking for 10 minute jobs and fast cash. Stay away from this place, thats not how u do business.

First time at Van Ess with my 2010 Ford F 150 had a code thrown and it was a air ratio oxygen sensors left side told them replace both front sensors but Stu said to just replace the one side bc the other side is not sending a code I said ok. I picked up the truck drove off lot and engine light came on so they throw the scanner on truck and the other side throw a code but you never know when any electronic may go . They went above and beyond and didnt charge for labor to replace the other side. Thats the sign they care about their customers!

Stu is an honest guy I dont want to charge you for nothing. This was what he told me on the phone when he didnt find major problems.He is also very technically knowledgeable. He addressed all my questions and concerns with reasonable explanations.It seems the last suggestion from him try to use premium gas, see if it can help works on my RAV 4.recommended! But they are expensive!!

Honest and reasonably priced

Saved me almost $600. I wont take my car anywhere else for a repair. I wanted to get a 2nd estimate on some rear brake work and that is what took me to Van Ess. The 1st place I went to wanted to charge me over $800 for rear brake and brake caliper work. I knew the estimate was extremely high even though I dont know much about cars. I went to Van Ess since my dad told me they were honest. Stu called me and told me just the rear brakes needed to be replaced and no caliper work needed to be done and that they were fine. I spent around $250 out the door and my car has been fine ever since. Thank you guys!
