Dan was knowledgeable, kind, and very accommodating for an unusual last minute call for a unique vehicle part. We have a Mercedes Benz Smart Fortwo that needed a battery. Not only is it difficult to find parts for this car or people knowledgeable in how to fix them, but its always difficult to find car repair that you feel is authentic and fair. Sara was amazing and went above and beyond for each task she accepted. My dad always worked on cars and Ive been around the lingo long enough to understand it and know that Sara was sharp as a tack and really knows her stuff. I didnt see a charge for the friendly attitudes, gracious environment and fun, family vibe. It appears those were free.I love supporting local business. Will support women in business every chance I get, and love supporting an environment that clearly embraces women in a specialty that isnt typically saturated. I am typically hesitant and weary with car repairs as I find the old stereotype to typically be true. However, I was thoroughly impressed here---all the way down to the young man who took great care to find if my leaky tire was by chance or was actually in need of repair. (It just needed air.)I wont hesitate to bring all of my family vehicles to Dan going forward. I cant say enough nice things about this experience. Thanks for fitting us in at the last minute. The advisors Sarah & Dan manage this location, they are very effective in helping maintain our fleet. Pricing is a little high but still fair for the quality of service provided by their fully staffed repair facility. The mechanics are experienced and trained to provide excellent service. Top notch repair & maintenance providers.

The Plymouth Garage was SO helpful! I had my car towed to their location after hours, at the onset of a holiday weekend. The drop off process was easy! The next morning I stopped in to describe what I was experiencing. Sara was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation (visiting from out of state and needed to get on the road). She sent updates (link via text) every step of the way. She sent pictures of the parts that needed to be replaced. Parts were available, ordered, and repairs were made with a 24 hour turn around. I was also able to pay online. I HIGHLY recommend The Plymouth Garage!!!

Excellent service!! It was very easy to book my appointment online. I dropped off my car and explained that I was selling the car soon, I wanted a few things looked at but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. They went over the car, let me know what they found and sent me a quote over email explaining everything. I selected what services I wanted to complete and it was done the next day. This was my first time using Plymouth Garage and I walked away happy. I made a request using their website for an 8am appointment on a Saturday for a wheel alignment on my truck. I received my appointment confirmation in a timely fashion. Upon arriving for my appointment, Dan let me know they would be doing my alignment right away. Dan and the technician kept me updated throughout the process and had me in and out in less than 2 hours. Great, friendly service and communication. They also have complimentary coffee/beverages and WiFi to use in case you need to wait around. I would use them again in the future if needed.

Very pleased with my experience at The Plymouth Garage. I made an appointment online a few days ahead of time and when I went in to drop off the car, they said they couldn’t find my appointment. Dan and his team were quick to find me a spot even though they couldn’t find the appointment. Very great service from a great team. The price is reasonable for your average auto repair shop. Thoroughly impressed with how I was treated.

I normally do my own repairs, and just sent my car in to get a good look over and a heads up on the issues I was having. I felt so comfortable with the guys there, I left my car in their hands with full trust that it would get repaired correctly. You get exactly what you pay for, good honest service, friendly employees front and back and a warranty. I also liked the convenience of the optional loaner car, it was like I never skipped a beat with my fast paced life.

I am very satisfied with the way they diagnosed the problems. Communicated the cost and timing as well as the actual repairs. Excellent customer service.

I had the yearly checkup! I just purchased a new to me used car. I appreciated that they got me in fast and it was completed under the time they had estimated!

This business was very thorough and honest. They completed the work when promised and at the estimated cost. They let me know that some of the items on the checklist were routine maintenance and didn’t have to be done immediately. Very pleased with the service, the communication, and the friendliness of the staff.

Seemed like a good honest place. Told me exactly what I needed to replace to do an alignment so I could come back once I had done the work myself. After the alignment my jeep drives straight and the steering wheel is fixed. No problem having a lifted jeep either.

Staff was friendly. Only offered synthetic oil change around $60 for a 07 Toyota Camry hybrid and said it is good for 6000 miles. They told me that they only have synthetic. When I declined (due to conventional vs synthetic) they lowered their price to $45. Went to the dealership that also suggested I switch over. They told me the vehicle is good for 10000 miles if I go synthetic. The dealer quote I signed for a synthetic oil change was for $44 and some change. So they wanted to charge a new customer more than the dealership. You descide.

Dan and Sara are super helpful and have great communication. I have 3 older cars and always take them to Plymouth garage for maintenance.

I don’t leave reviews very often. It takes either a very poor or an exceptionally great experience to convince me to write a review. That being said, The Plymouth Garage blew away my expectations. As an engineer/avid DIYer, I can tell when I take my vehicle somewhere if they are trying to sell me something I don’t need or if it’s legit. The Plymouth Garage uses carfax history to see if certain services were performed rather than blindly trying to upsell the customer on whatever they can. It felt like they genuinely wanted to give my car what it needs. That extra step, to me, shows that the management of this shop cares about the customer and their car and not just profits. All that being said, they fit my car in for an alignment the same day I called and did a great job and have a state of the art alignment rack. I’ll definitely bring any one of my vehicles back here for any job I can’t do myself!

Telling me all these services I need when they were just performed a month ago. Tried to charge me separate when my vehicle was being checked to see what was wrong. The diagnosis was over $200 yet you tried to charge me for previous work and $1300 for a tune up on a 2014 Ford.

Found online and visited based on Google reviews.Took Jaguar in for repl timing belt estimate (informed at the time of drop-off) on 2-26-21Quoted $85 for estimate and Id hear back by end.of the following business day. I called 3 days later as I hadnt heard from them, they told me supercharger was bad ( roughly $2000+ repair) but they were waiting for a 3rd mechanic to confirm.Then was told they misquoted me and shouldve been $130hr with a 5hr min for my Jag.Called me 4 days later asking for 4hrs more labor to confirm timing belt (why hadnt you used the first 3.5hrs to do that which is why initially brought it in).I refused additional labor and picked up vehicle 2 days later. Written estimate wasnt ready at pickup and had to wait for it to be emailed but was charged for services at the time of pickup.Had my car 6 daysCharged me 3.5hrs labor (wanted $450 for services but reduced to $350 because I was upset) for nonsense work.After reviewing estimate nothing was itemized only $2100 total for timing belt (which was never confirmed bad) and no mention of the supercharger being bad on the estimate only a verbal.So for my $351 and 6 days having my vehicle, The Plymouth Garage Did a vehicle inspection of my tires, rims, missing valve stem, took photos of my car, checked air filter, wiper blades even checked tire tred but got car back with a left rear flat tire ( 0psi) and also told me everything that wasnt wrong with my car but never actually dug into the reason I came to them (timing belt).All in all a horrible experience and I feel I got robbed. Paid $351 for a oil changes worth of work and still not sure if my timing belt was bad. Do not take your vehicle to this place!!Also none of the 5 workers (including manager) were wearing masks.

I needed to try a new repair shop / tire shop because the one Id use before had retired. I was looking for service and quality and found it in the Plymouth garage. I first met the owner during the covered lockdown when he fixed my log splitter tire on a closed Saturday. From that point on I made it a mission to take my work to them because I knew they would do a great job. I recently had four new tires put on my wifes van and they did an excellent job and they also provided me with a fantastic evaluation of potential repairs I should consider down the road. This is a great company youd be lucky to have your vehicle fixed there I would recommend this to anyone.

I brought my vehicle here and asked if they could perform transmission work. They said yes and that they would get me a quote on Friday or Saturday morning(the next day or the following day after I brought it in). I called multiple times and they were not able to get me a quote for one entire week. They let me know that there would be a fee to look at the truck which is understandable. But not understandable when they hold on to my truck for a week and I was not able to get a quote, and then to quote was double what other shops that I ended up going to were charging. I wish they would have told me no we cant do that work on your truck or we dont want to. Instead they still charged me the fee to look at my truck hold on to it for a week without getting me a quote a full week and then still charged me for the fee even though they did nothing of what they said they would do then gave me a ridiculous quote. I would not take any vehicle here ever again.

This place is as big as a dealership and its better. Everything is brand new state of the art. I see classic cars here every time. Im having them upgrade the turbos on my stage 3 Audi S4. Blew up my K04 Borg Warners, replacing with DZX-273 by Turbo Concepts. It will take a couple days but the techs know what they are doing. Best auto repair in Livonia

I took in my 2009 Lincoln Town Car first thing in the morning and was very impressed on how clean the write up area is and had courtesy snacks and drinks when waitingThe shop was also very clean also .. i dont remember his name but the service advisor was nice...i took it in for a alignment and tire balance ..the technician Chris was very helpful and professional..he even went out of his way to test drive my car with me on the freeway to verify my concern..i felt confident them working on my car..even thou my car is old i pamper it and maintain it well. Chris the Technician showed me some things that may need attention in the future but feel he wasnt just trying to sell something like other shop tend to do..but just pointing out protential things in the future...the price i paid seemed really fair also..i will give them my work for now on..

I took my 2004 Chevy Silverado here based on previous Google reviews. I was not disappointed. Service was excellent. I was updated throughout my service. I had all brake lines replaced along with a few other needed repairs. Original brake lines had rusted through causing complete brake failure. Tommy and the team took great care of me and my vehicle. I will be returning in the future with any future needs for my familys vehicles.

Ive taken out company vehicles here several times and theyve always done right by us. Took my personal vehicle on for a tire swap after hitting a pot hole. Rim took a dent but they were able to mount and balance and at a good price.

Great before and after experience, my car was picked up from my place of work in the morning, got picture and text updates, got recommendations for additional work if required and my car was completed within the time frame I was promised. Spoke to the mechanic Nicholas after I drove the car same day and was updated on what is needed left on the car for my next visit.Got a call next day asking about how satisfied I was with my service and I had to get on google myself and leave a review. They fixed a problem I wasnt sure could be fixed. Great staff. Excellent workmanship. They even washed my car. Others couldnt even tell what was wrong or get the parts, but now my BMW is running better than ever.

Great customer service. Came in for just an oil change and other issues were found and the service advisor went through each item thoroughly and prioritized what work was needed sooner and what work could wait. The service advisor never pushed for any up-sells and even called the local dealership to see if vehicle would still be covered under warranty for a leak that was found during the inspection. Overall I would gladly recommend anyone to go to this shop!

Beautiful New Shop in the area. I brought my Audi Q5 in for a complete vehicle inspection and they were able to explain and prioritize all of my repairs for me so I knew what to focus on first. I highly recommend giving this new shop a try!

This place told this guy that he had to put down a $500 deposit down before they can look at his car because it wasnt a wheel on his car and all he needed was a few wheel studs but the customer told the shop that he needed a wheel bearing which is possible to do because that would be better but they didnt even look at his car before they told him that and they also told him that he would probably be looking at about $2,000 to get stuff fixed on his car

Made an appointment in advance with TJ over the phone to bring in my Mariner. I arrived early and planned to wait for my service to be completed. The waiting area was clean and beautiful and TJ was there to greet me and offered me a loaner car since it was available. I chose to stay and worked a bit using the free WiFi. They had an assortment of refreshments available including soft drinks, bottled water and coffee/teas by Keurig.My service required some inspection and diagnostic work and the quotation for the work was fair and the actual amount I paid ended up being less than they quoted because certain parts or labor weren’t needed after all.I didn’t expect it but they also test drove my car after completing the repairs to make sure everything was good to go. This final bit apparently also included a car wash AND quick wipe down and vacuum of the front driver and passenger interior. They also cleaned my inside windshield. These guys get my highest recommendation. Fair pricing, excellent service AND a 36,000 mile nationwide warranty on the repairs. I felt like family. Can’t wait for my next oil change 👍🏻
