Went in for brakes i told them replace all rotors and pads i was told needed front .Work was done without replacingAll brakes.No upscale will return.

First of all they Charge for inspection and other places are free for inspection! They also over charged me to fix my a/c went somewhere else and they did it for half the price!

Ive brought our cars here for a oil change / tire rotation at least 7-8 times over the past 3+ years. I always make an appointment upfront and they never disappoint - in the garage within 5 minutes of arriving, and out in 45 minutes or less. As far as I can see, this shops price (for both services) is always the best within a 5 mile radius from my office. I highly recommend using this facility.

Over priced shop. Wanted to chage my lower oil pan gasket on a SUV. its literally about a 30min job taking your time, quoted $250. Oh and I had all my own parts. Crazy. The dealership was 1/2 this price.

Went there to have brakes done. They were upfront about what was wrong with the car, as well as offered me some discounts that were applicable. They finished the job quickly and in a timely manner.

I recently brought my 09 Ford Fusion to Auto Lab due to issues with the serpentine belt and insert pulley. I was very happy with the customer service and work done on my vehicle. The employees at Auto Lab were very clear and concise when describing what needed to be fixed on my car. Overall, my car was fixed in 1-day at a fair rate and I was extremely satisfied!

I was referred by AAA to this shop. I hadnt been there before, but if AAA recommended them I thought it should be reputable. It absolutely was. Repairs were finished in a timely manner, at a fair price, and were explained thoroughly. They have earned my trust and my business. I will definitely return.

Received this shops coupon, thus, tried call and made a Saturday appointment for brake service prior to stopping by at the shop. However on Saturday, the front desk guy said he did not find any record of the appointment and suggested to make a new appointment and come back later.One week after, came back again for brake service. The work was done just ok...nothing good or bad. But dealing with the front desk guy is the biggest pain and worst customer service ever. He is just a rude and unprofessional guy who should not sit there.Wont come back again and do not recommend this shop.

Auto Lab is our go-to place for oil changes and automotive repairs. My wife and I have been taking our vehicles here for a few years and have never had bad service. The staff is extremely friendly and they are right on time when you set up appointments! My wifes vehicle needed some repairs and the parts needed to be ordered, so it was going to take a couple days to complete. Auto Lab was able to give us a vehicle loaner to use locally, so that we were not restricted to only one vehicle, for a family of 4. I highly recommend Auto Lab to family and friends frequently.

Two strikes with this place. There will not be a third. Bait and switch is atrocious. My aunts car needed a spark plug. They charged her almost $2000 for other repairs they said were needed. Ok, I wasnt there so she paid it. They changed starter and fly wheel. Ever since her remote start hasnt worked. Gave them one more chance for brake pads change. They said $50, I said ok. Called me later and said it was going to be $1100. Never doing business with this shop and I recommend you dont either. Especially if youre not car savvy as they certainly will take advantage.

First time using them. Starting off, I Phoned them. Was quickly able to schedule a same day appointment. Brought my car in for service check and was able to drive my car away 1 1/2 hours latter, completely repaired. Price for repair was extremely reasonable and they stand behind all their work. Great to have them in the neighborhood.

Used them a couple times but...I think they got me good!I went to them with a hanging parking brake but they didnt discover the problem until they convinced me the problem was due to me needing all new brakes and rotors over $1000 and to top it off the brakes they replaced they had installed less than 3000 miles before. TO FIX THE REAL PROBLEM THEY DISABLED MY EMERGENCY BRAKES.(((Are they dishonest or just incompetent)))

I not only enjoyed my time spent at Auto-Lab, they were kind enough to loan me a car for $1.00. Who does that today??? The last time I took my car to the dealership, it cost close to $300 for a car! I am going to AutoLab Livonia for 4 years, their work is excellent and they had always done a thorough inspection of my car whenever I go for an oil change.

I am more than pleased with the service I received. They picked my car up at work, took it back to their shop to replace my tires, and brought the car back to me at work. They even ran it through a car wash! Jim and Bob were friendly and professional and made me feel confident that their recommendations were honest. I will definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to others looking for auto repairs.

This place is great! My experience was nothing but pleasant. They not just did the typical telling you what needs repairs, but took me out to the garage and actually showed me the issue with my car. Then found an alternative repair to fix the issue that was more affordable and in my budget. Roger, the mechanic was knowledgeable and fixed up my car and the problem was completely gone! They even dropped me off at work while my car was being repaired so I didnt have to walk. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Absolutely disgusted and dissatisfied with the horrible service out of this place. My battery and alternator for a 2009 Ford Focus needed to be replaced, so I had my vehicle towed to one of their locations because it wouldnt start up, even when jumped. For my battery and alternator to be replaced, I was expecting to get my vehicle back within 1-2 days, and paying somewhere around $750. On the day Im expecting the call to come get my car, I get a call from them now saying theres another issue with the vehicle regarding the Fusebox, and that it needed a new one, so the job was going to take another 2 days before I can get my car back. 2 days later, I get a call from Auto-Lab saying that they dont have the right parts to fix the Fusebox, so Im gonna have to keep my vehicle there all weekend long and wait until Monday (today). Today I got a call saying everything is complete and my vehicle is now ready to pick up, and once I got my vehicle and brought it home, I discovered that virtually half of the features in my car dont power up now, and at one point I took the keys out of the car to turn it off, and the vehicle continued to run and something began to burn. I had to pay over $870 in total for the worst service and jobs ever done. My car was on their property for 12 days for a job that shouldve been done within a couple of days, and now I have to take my vehicle back in somewhere else to get looked at because its almost undriveable. If I can help anyone save some money, time, and trouble, please do not use auto-lab for anything.

Took it in for a misfire on my cylinder 5 and they wanted me to revert my car stock to even look at it. (Only had a tune which I could put stock and a cold air intake) they wanted to nickel and dime me through testing and diagnosis even though I knew what was wrong. Took it to another shop and got it fixed in 3 days for 241$ and its all fixed now.

After years of looking for a full service mechanic, who would not take advantage or use scare tactics to recommend unnecessary work, I think I finally found one- Livonias AutoLab.Starting with my first oil change on a car I no longer own and now with my new car, the folks here have always done great work.Their multi-point inspections are in-depth and plainly worded.They also provide very detailed and plainly worded estimates on any future work that I may need.I think I found a winner here.

Brought my Honda in for oil change and tire rotation. I felt a shimmy when braking after the work was done. Fortanetly I got home safely to find out that 3 out of 6 lug nuts were only hand tight! Once I tightened them the shimmy was gone. Could have been a freak thing, but enter at your own risk.

Needed rear brakes and saw they were running a special. Decided to have them change out all my belts since I was already there. They did an excellent job. I knew the belts would be complicated, but they even gave me a discount for the extra time it took. I will definitely bring my SUV here again.

I was advised to go here by my mother. I dropped my car off at 8 am for a diagnosis and received notice at 4:30 pm. They said my car had an internal head gasket leak. They then said they were uncomfortable with replacing the head gasket because of the mileage. I informed them I had had the engine replaced before buying the car and the mileage didnt reflect that. They then continued to insist that they were uncomfortable working on the car without replacing the engine. They then quoted me $3600 for the job. I asked when I could pick up my car. I ended up paying them $52 just to look at it. What amazes me is that they are advised on Christian radio and I feel as if they were trying to cheat me. I am a young black woman and I was shocked they would even suggest something so ludicrous as to replace the engine because they didnt like the idea I didnt get my engine from them. They are swindlers and cheats.

My experience was great at the Auto Lab. I went on my lunch break and got my hour changed in an hour or less. My tire pressure was low so the air was refilled free of charge and mentioned that I needed some new tires. Very helpful

I ended up needing a somewhat costly repair, but the staff made sure to apply every possible discount and coupon. They explained the situation and charges in plain English, and did a good job performing the work. I wouldnt hesitate to return for any future auto work.

The worst. They overfilled my oil, 6 quarts when it takes 5 max. and drained my coolant telling me I had leaks in both. After a simple oil change my oil leaked due to the fact they overfilled it and then drained the coolant (after I filled the coolant myself have NEVER had a leak). This did not only happen once (I chalked it up to rookies, summer help) I called them to complain. I took it in again (convenient location) in the fall and it happened again! They also clearly wrote 6 quart oil under the hood in marker when the manual regarding my car clearly states 4.5 quarts! Again the coolant was drained. Lost my business and I advise if you are a single woman have a male friend take it in. They will and do take advantage of you.

I brought my car to AutoLab Livonia at the recommendation of my sister. They performed some routine maintenance and a brake job; my car runs great and stops when I want it to. Having Saturday hours is wonderful, and I will continue to bring my car for service.

Both my husband and I go here with our cars. Mine especially is really falling apart - it is a 2000 Buick that I have abused and driven across the country twice. This place has always been honest, upfront. Prices are very fair for the work they do, and they will always try to minimize the cost if possible. They are pretty quick to get things done. If you need a bunch of stuff done and need a loaner car, they have those too. We drive from Novi to here, out of our way, because they are some of the best of Detroit.
