Great art on my granddaughters nail. Super friendly, clean and reasonably priced! We found Davids Salon online. We got to town late on Sunday- and most places were closed. It was a great surprise!

I’m usually not one to write reviews on places.. the guy there is extremely RUDE! the ladies are very nice! The guy set the whole mood while I was there and it was not at all pleasant! Tried to hurry us up to sit down when we were looking at the colors on the counter then ended up leaving and pushing us off on the ladies. And was arguing with one of the other employees. Very unprofessional HE was! Prior to him leaving he answered the phone for a customer and like yelled at him/her and said, “I said no appointment tonight, I said no” very rudely! And then our nails look like kid tape on nails🙄😭

I have gone a few times there for pedicures and to get my daughters nails done. I walked in today and was rudely told thet were closed. Even though the sign saysthe are open until 7. I asked ifthey still do Walk ins to. He said yes but that I had to be there by 6. I was very friendly in my questions to him. He was very much rude. I will not be going back due to the rudeness over something small and their lack of quality.

I can confirm that Dave is extremely rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. I left bleeding and seething. I feel bad for his employees, worse for his victims (customers).

The guy was very rude. He was the one who ended up doing my nails and completely rushed through all of them. Im normally not that picky, but this was the worst manicure Ive ever gotten. You can tell he did not care and his work was sloppy.

Ive been coming to Davids since 2002. Leila is THEE best! Im never disappointed with her pedicures, fills, and designs. Shes quick and always knows what shes doing.

David is rude af!!! So unprofessional..And got mad when I told him I didnt want him doing my nails!!( he sucks at nails) and he clipped my toes nails to short!! And now my baby toe is bleedibg!!

Nail tech was nice to talk too but did not clean my feet up for calluses, toe nails, etc. Very bare minimum and was not given a choice for other options. No one lead me to the dryer after or made sure my nails were dry before leaving. Was also worried about the sanitation of her items she used for the pedi. Will not be going here again.

COVID or not, the lady used tools on me that she was using on the girl before me. I know because I sat next to her and watched while I waited, then they moved me over when she was done and didn’t grab a new “disinfected nail tools” kit. The old one was still open with pieces of her nail on the clippers!! In the end, I watched her pack up the kit and put it in her drawer to probably use again tomorrow without cleaning like she just did. Not to mention she did a terrible job, so $40 was basically just wasted.

I have gone to this salon in multiple locations. Mindy, Sam, Leila and the other girls are so sweet. Prices are so reasonable. Staff work hard to accommodate the customers. It is more no frills than other salons but the prices reflect that. I love my pink and white nails. They also offer eyebrow waxing and newly added eyelash application.

I love getting my nails done there. I always get what design I pick out and its always so beautiful

Annie was very accommodating with my nails and they use teamwork to get it done faster. I was super stoked that they were open until 9 and took me at 8, and that they worked past close to finish my nails. Took til 10:10 with 2 people. they really ground down my nails very thin and made many hot spots. I was bleeding in 2 spots which is very gross. They didnt ever ask me to wash my hands either. They didnt seem to wash either while I was there. Not sure I will be going back even though I like that they are open late. If I were to go back I would be very clear about what I wanted and speak up a bit more even though that can get awkward.

We walked in and asked for 2 pedicures. They told us to give them a few minutes that was no problem. About 5 minuets go by and they tell us to go sit in the chairs they wanted us in so we did and the water was freezing cold so we couldn’t even soak our feet while we waited. I would have asked someone to warm up the water but they put us in the far corner and nobody was near us . We waited about an hour before anyone came over to do our pedicures that were super rushed . For my foot “massage” she grabbed my foot and rubbed up and down 5 times maybe and that was it . All around bad service ..

I’ve always gone to this place and they always do an amazing job. When I don’t know what I want I get COFFIN shaped MATTE black nails. Well, this time I did get black nails. But they ended up glossy after paying extra for matte. The shape is awful. Not even coffin and they’re crooked. I went on Saturday, a new lady did them (I’m assuming). When the lady was shaping my nails another woman came over and corrected it so they were coffin. Apparently that lady decided to try and reshape them to I don’t even know what. She didn’t do the clear coat so the matte is completely gone. I paid $50 and tipped really nice too. Very disappointed in my nails, this is the first time I’ve gotten my nails done in months. I could’ve done a better job myself.

Terrible experience. Very unprofessional. Children of one of the techs running around, and after she was scolded, sat next to another patron and sobbed. Staff then started yelling at each other about it. Smoking breaks were taken, while multiple clients were left sitting. Very unprofessional. My nails look horrid. Owner was mad because I didn’t initially like the way he was doing them so finished them crooked and terrible coloring. Also told him to leave the length and he filed them ALL below the fingertips. Worst $40 spent! I won’t go back!

The lady that did my nails cut my cuticles really bad to the point where three of them were bleeding and the regular polish started coming off the next day.

If there a terrible customer service award, Davids nail salon would take the trophy. Everybody in the salon just stared at me like I just kicked their favorite pet. I asked if they could take walk ins and the only response I got after several tense looks back and forth from employee to employee as if they didnt want to answer my question. Eventually one spoke up reluctantly and said, um. We do. But were busy right now. Totally understandable and I wouldve been fine waiting, but after she answered my question, everybody went back to ignoring me. My further questions went ignored. Nobody but the other customers even batted an eye when I said, ok.. well I guess Im not ever coming back then. And they let me walk right out of the door without any notice. Theres are too many nail salons in Lincoln for anybody to NEED to go to this one. This salon seems like it could be ok if youre a regular, but definitely not welcoming to new business.

Very clean, modern, and efficient. Good customer service! The place was packed when I came, but my guests and I were placed together quickly. The lady in the pedi chair next to me showed me pix of how her nails were done for her wedding and they were EXQUISITE. My little friend also had a great time :) she was treated like a princess and smiled all day long!! Thank you Davids Nail!!

I really liked this place! I got a deluxe pedicure with the olive oil treatment and loved it! Linh is amazing and really takes the time to give you great service!

Clean and did great with my 2 year old daughter

My daughter went with a friend to get a fill done. She checked ahead of time to see how much a fill would cost and was told $12.00. I sent her with $20.00 because she gets the Shellac paint which I know costs more. My daughter called stating she needed $10.00 because they kept messing up and had to redo it. I called Davids Nails to find out what was going on and was told that the cost of a fill with regular paint is $12.00 and the shellac is an ADDITIONAL $15.00 and then she got a 2 nail design which is $3.00 for a total of $30.00. I was glad to hear that they were not charging her to redo their mess ups but completely shocked to hear $30.00 for a fill with a two nail design. THIS IS THE COST OF A BRAND NEW FULL SET. I will never let my daughter go there again!!!! I was not sure about letting her go any where other than her regular nail salon but thought I would let her try it because she wanted to go with her friend who uses this place. From now on her nails will only be done by The Nail Lounge and Spa on 14th and Superior. We have never had anything but good service with them. AND THEY DO NOT CHARGE $30 FOR A FILL!!!!

If 0 was an option that’s what I’d give. Let’s start with David does not know how to do nails. He burned me several times all I was doing was a fill. He managed to completely change the shape my middle finger is now large enough to be a spoon 🙄😭 my nails look HORRIBLE he was rude the entire time and NONE of my nails even have the same shape going in they were all coffin. WORST SALON I’ve EVER been to

Got just a basic pedicure. Was happy with it. The lady took her time and did everything you would do for a basic pedicure. She did have a hard time doing the nail design, but quickly asked someone to come over and help her and I got the one I asked for. It was very cute.

This place is great! I recommend to anyone. They are gentle with nails and dont hurt your nails. The colors are spectacular you guys should definitly go!!!!@

The manager kept yelling across the store. My toe polish usually lasts for a couple of weeks but this time it only lasted just about 4 days. The person was unable to due the design I asked for but instead did something still really cute! The lotion for your legs was cold and they didnt give options for upgrades. Pretty basic basic pedicure compared to other nails salons I have been too. Would not recommend this to a friend. The nail tech was super sweet and listened to what I had to say.

Okay Ive gone here twice and both time I had HORRIBLE customer service. The first time the lady doing my nails kept telling me how I was way too young to have a child, and I thought it was quite rude. Recently I went again hoping for better service but it was actually worse! The management is so disrespectful! He ripped off all the nails right after the lady had glued them on. They dont care about their client and our comfort. The manager kept yelling at his employees and the children there. Also, they charged me a ridiculous amount for some nails that had no design or anything special! I will never recommend anyone to go there, and I will never return. Horrible customer service!

I used to go to David’s all the time and they used to care about you and what you wanted. I stopped going when David the male in charge did my nails and made fun of me for wanting longer nails, made more than one nail crooked and caked so much acrylic on a nail that another lady had to fix it, it’s been about a year and I decided to give them another chance and I got David again. I wanted a French ombré and it looks so horrible not even a ombré, he took over 2 hours to do it. He also rolled his eyes atMe for him fixing his mistakes. Do not give him your money, plenty of better nail salons around.

Very affordable and the service was great. I got a full set of stiletto nails. A girl named Jennifer did them. She was incredibly polite and personable, and the nails look flawless! Only 25 dollars for the set! Would recommend for anyone! Great experience. I will be returning!

I am very pleased with the fill I had done today. Mindy took her time and did a very nice job. All my nails are smooth and polished nicely. I would recommend Davids.

Terrible place. I took my step daughter to get her nails painted for senior pictures. There are several reasons we will never go back. The owner/manager was yelling across the place between 2 employees about payment it was not only loud but very unprofessional. I asked for a polish but the owner took it upon himself to tell the tech to do a manicure and that is not what we asked for so of course we were charged for a manicure. The Technician was in such a hurry to get this pedicure done you would have swore she was on fire. She did a terrible job. My step daughter had bleeding all over from the cuticles she cut . She got top coat all over the bottom of her fingers due to her being in such a hurry she painted the bottoms of the fingers too. I will not ever go back here. It was a nighmare.

Terrible service. I went in with my mom and we both wanted pedicures. We sat in our chairs, and without an offer of what kind of pedicure my mother wanted, one lady began to work. I tried to mention something about a deluxe pedicure, but the lady would not listen. Therefore, my mom was stuck getting a basic pedicure, and so did I. My mother did not receive half of the things offered. She did not have her calluses removed, her feet rubbed at all, any lotion or leg rubbing, and the toe painting was sloppy. There was no reason for this, they were not busy. Overall, I was disappointed with the service offered.

They did a good job on my nails but I got a full set & the lady said they would be $25 because of the shape I wanted which is fine but they charged me $43 on my card and said that it was because my sister got a pedicure too. But my sister paid the lady there in cash so I called them back and the man was saying that my sister never paid her and his staff wouldnt lie but I know for a fact that she paid. He said he would only refund my overcharged fee if my sister walked in and confirmed with his staff that she paid in cash & Im just really annoyed. They do a great job on nails & pedis but have terrible service

Davids used to be a great place, however, every time I go now I end up getting cut on multiple fingers. I left with two bleeding fingers this last time, one of them got infected which is concerning to me because they reuse tools and im not sure how well they get sanitized. I did not see her sanitize anything after I was bleeding. She did a sloppy job on my acrylics and was very rude. I am going to get them redone somewhere else. It is disappointing since it isnt cheap to get nails done, and now im having to pay again to get them redone. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Went here after the place I just left completely screwed up my nails... youd think knowing i literally left one place to go to the other to get them fixed that they would try a little harder. This dude.. didnt even use the color I chose.. i was too exhausted to say anything after spending 4 hours at nail salons to get shellac done correctly.. my nails are so miss shaped and rough, shellac isnt sealed for the second time in one day.. 2 different salons.You people may need a new career.WHAT A JOKE!!!! I went in for a full and change color of paint. I had a picture of what I wanted 2 hours later he asked if it was ok the paint was blotchy craters in the paint design was horrible 27 dollars later. I cant wait to get redone.... somewhere else

Had called this morning to make appointment and the guy said he would put me down for the time I wanted and when I got there and told the guy that I had an appointment he didn’t even write me down and told me to go sit down and wait so I waited and a lady came up to me and said they would get me in a few mins but instead it started taking longer than usual for waiting for a nail tech then someone else walked in and asked if they could get a manicure and they told her to sit down right away like she was more important than me so I just ended up leaving and going to Jenny’s nail ... Jenny’s nails is amazinggggg

Went in for a mani/ pedi. Wanted the higher end pedi, didnt even get asked what I wanted. Girl did a okay job, then got switched to a guy to do my manicure and got cut several times and my nails are all uneven. Very sad with the results from this place. Close to home but may need to drive south for better service.

Overall this salon was poorly managed. Clients were left sitting and waiting around while the technicians scrabbled around to get everyone done. The manager was very grouchy and yelled across the store the whole time I was there.In the end, they did do a good job on my nails, but the atmosphere wasn’t very enjoyable.

I havent had my nails done for years. I have terribly callused skin on my feet. My skin is extremely dry and I have neuropathy on both feet. There are callused spots on top an up my ankles. Its all very spotty and ugly.Today, Katy, at Davids Nail Salon caringly and carefully took the time to remove all of the dead rubbish tissue off of my feet and clean my toe nails in detail. She was so exceptionally good that the management was concerned about the time she took. She had to spend a lot of time to do the job but she was dedicated to doing a good job. She did a perfect job. My feet look and feel normal. I hope to have her do it again and again. Unfortunately, I dont live in Lincoln.

So my friends and I came in a half hour before close but called before hand to make sure it was OK that four of us could two sets of acrylics and two pedicures. When Davids first moved, I was really happy with the atmosphere and work, but the last time I was in I was extremely disappointed. The girls station I sat at had chips out. And little kids were running around her and behind her as she was doing my nails making me very nervous because I did not want her to mess up or cut me. She actually cut me so bad I had to wear a bandaid on my finger for a week or so and it was incredibly sore and red. Including a couple other nicks here and there. I even asked her to be careful and that she didnt need to be going that close to my cuticle or the sides of the nail. And she got a little defensive. The shellac was also very uneven and lumpy. I wouldve said something about it, but thats something you really can only notice if you take your hand away and look at them. I would like to relax when I get my nails done. Not have to be tense the whole time. She also didnt put the white tip completely on one of my nails so it broke off prematurely. I could tell because there was no fingernail on the back of the white tip when it snapped off. I had to get it redone at Noble Nails, and since my nails were a little grown out I decided to just get them all filled. They looked a little better and stayed on until I had to take them off and only two crystals total fell off without getting the gel on top. I personally wouldnt recommend Noble Nails either, just based on that one experience due to the way it looked inside. I paid about $50 for rhinestones around each ring finger tip at Davids. Which is crazy. Probably my worst experience at any nail salon. Will definitely try to check some other places out.

They did a terrible job. 2 of my acrylic nails fell off the day after i got them done and a few days after that the rest started lifting.

The guy was rude, made me bleed on 5 different nails, my nails turned out uneven and the paint job was horrible. I’ll never go back there again.
