Moved in a few months ago. I work from home so I’m always curious how maintenance treats guests and if I’ll feel safe walking around the apartments on breaks. Both so far have been great! The layout of the apartments outside it just really pretty in general. The Pool is always a party (they aren’t annoying about bringing guests which is a huge plus) and the gym has a good range of equipment. Not enough to supplement a gym membership personally but It’s still a good option to have. They also have workout classes available which is a nice benefit as well. Truth be told my only complaint is just the propane tanks being out for the grill. Hard to plan a grill out when it’s not always consistent with which grills are up and ready to use. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Jasmine is who leased My apartment and she was fantastic to work with.

Definitely, I will recommend this place when looking for an apartment. We moved here about four months ago, and my experience here has been excellent so far. the property is clean, the amenities are great. I enjoy very much walking around the lake, its awesome! People at the leasing office and maintenance are very friendly, management is proactive, and if you have a dog, this will be the perfect place for them!. I love this place!!

I moved in about 8 months ago. Its been smooth sailing so far. The property is clean, maintenance is proactive, and the office staff is friendly. There is a beautiful man made lake, a pretty nice onsite Club and 2 workout rooms. This is not my first luxury apartment experience, but it ranks pretty good considering the amenities and the price. Its worth a shot for sure!

It’s a beautiful place to live for sure. I had no problems until moving out. They charged us a cleaning fee even though the apartment was left cleaner than when we moved in. We moved out at the beginning of August and the lease ended on the 31st of August. We’re still being charged the bills that are under them even after not living there before our lease ended. Our coserv wasn’t even that much. (So make it make sense??) Take pictures of the inside of the fridge, oven, and microwave. Just take a picture of every part of the apartment 😂 no really do it or you’ll be charged for bs.

Drug deals happen at these apartments but yet there’s only security during the day on a Sunday. Where is the 24/7 security. Pool is always trashed with beer cans every where. No parking and people park in the spot you pay for. Poorly planned community. Run! Don’t walk away from this place. Looks nice on the outside but very bad on the inside. How can someone feel safe with drug deals going on? 24/7 security and make sure the gates work and don’t allow tons of people at the pool that don’t live here. That might help. Why isn’t the owner or property manager thinking of this? Pool attendant anyone ?? 24/7 security ??

Moved in a week ago, but parking is a nightmare. No guest parking and very limited residents’s parking. The unassigned parking spots for residents are always full. Paid parking isn’t available. Currently living in building 5 and paying for parking next to building 2. It takes 5 minutes walk to get to my paid parking spot (can’t wrap my head on the inconvenience of walking to a parking I am paying for on top of my rent for that long). There is no close by retail where one can park or roadside parking. My guest had leave because they couldn’t find parking after 30 minutes of driving around. The only positive thing about this place is that the property is beautiful. The gate codes never works. Ooh the apartment actually offer people $20 gift cards for good reviews.

I recommend people to avoid this place when looking for an apartment. At 1st me and my girlfriend had good vibes. We talked with David, he did give us a good tour of the place but all that went out the window. I realized he just wanted to keep the deposit. I explained to him in the beginning about my credit situation. He persuaded me to still feel out the application. I did, I didnt get approved but my girlfriend did. They told her if she could get a co applicant then she could move forward with the process and put a deposit on the apartment she wanted. They said she had until Thursday to get a co applicant. She had got one and they sent everything and sent in paystubs by Tuesday night. She called them numerous times on Wednesday and left messages and even sent David emails. It is Friday and still no word. They dont really care for you there and thank God we didnt get approved because it would of been hell living there. Still would of been nice of them to call and let us know something.

Spent 3.5 days in Dallas looking for a new place. Did not end up choosing Discovery at the Realm so the five star rating is not for the property. The reason I am rating five stars is because of the tour I had with David, one of the members on staff. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication I received from Discovery. I went with my boyfriend to look at the complex and it was beautiful and we were exciting to submit a application. I called and spoke to David about two times and I provided all the documents they needed from my co-applicant. I did not receive a call or email or any notice if I was approved or denied after that. I was not informed on what happen to my application . I understand how busy they get, but all I needed was a simple yes or no approval of my application. I believe it was very unprofessional not to return my calls or emails after a couple of days.

For me, the adventure began approximately two months ago, since I moved from my country, Mexico, and obviously like all changes, it generates fear and uncertainty. But when I arrived at Discovery, and in the little time, I have finally been able to feel at home, being part of the community and the acceptance that they have given me is a wonderful experience. Needless to say about the location and easy access, in addition to the spaces it has, they allow you to easily adapt your lifestyle, it makes me feel safe, sometimes it makes me feel like Im on vacation forever. And what makes it even better is how friendly it is to pets, because they too are important part of families.

Before my lease was up, I hired the cleaning lady that my apartment uses to do extreme cleaning. Paid her $170. I lived alone and didnt hang anything on the walls. I recently received an email for moving out. Theyre charging $26 for light bulbs, $75 for light cleaning and $240 for painting. In addition, theyre charging for utilities when I moved out on 1/5 till end of lease on 1/31. Not only do I not get my $350 deposit back, theyre asking for additional $35.30. All items that theyre charging me should be under the normal wear and tear to be done when theres a vacancy. Now that I am looking at reviews for Discovery Castle Hills, it looks like this is their managements normal procedure. My previous apartment gave me full refund of the deposit! I plan on posting this on review sites since this is ridiculous!

Let me start by saying I have lived here for about 4 years now and when I first moved it was great and I had no complaints. However recently I have felt the customer service has declined dramatically that I would not recommend anyone to rent here. First about a year ago there was a leak in the maintenance closet. This was the second time that this had happened. They were able to fix the leak but the door, trim, and baseboards throughout the hallways and my bedroom would need to be replaced and due to covid there would be a delay which I understood. However this took over 7 months to be replaced and there was very little communication outside of the first month regarding status, timeline, or next steps. I constantly had to ask when I could expect this to be fixed and was told they were still waiting on supplies. There was never any sort of concession brought up to me while I was staying in essentially a construction zone for over 7 months. When I brought this up Management offered 2 weeks free which I didnt feel was adequate for a 7 month repair. This was offered while also raising the rent and adding a new parking fee totaling $100+. So in the end the concession is now taken by new fees. Fast forward to the Winter Storm this past February. The customer service has been non-existent. Many residents had some form of water damage. My particular unit had a flood that affected the entire apartment. I left the apartment on Tuesday 2/16 when my water was turned off by Friday 2/19 when I returned to check on the apartment there was still water standing in my apartment in my closet and the carpet in my bedroom was still soaking wet. I was told that the water would be mopped up and the rug in my living room would also be taken out of the apartment. When I came back to check on the apartment on Monday 2/22 the apartment was still in the same condition so I spent the evening mopping up water in the closet and living room and trying to drag a HEAVY rug that was soaked in water to the balcony. Meanwhile my bedroom carpet is still soaked. I came back to the apartment on Wednesday 2/24 to see the apartment in the same condition when I spoke to management I was promised that someone would stop by to speak to me about the damage - that never happened. Finally by Friday 2/26 there had been fans placed throughout the apartment to dry up the moisture within the apartment - 10 days after the water was initially discovered. After that I thought we were finally making progress however Management was non-responsive during the entire process. I have sent emails asking for status updates/timeline for when the work would be complete and have heard nothing - they ended up having to replace the flooring, rip up the drywall in the apartment, paint the entire apartment etc. In order for me to know what is going on with my apartment I have to physically go to my apartment and check. After recently checking my apartment it looked like everything was complete and I could move back in after a month of waiting, I sent an email to management on 2/23 to confirm and heard nothing back. So I decided that I would move back only to discover that there is mold underneath the kitchen sink, the lock for my apartment has been broken, and paint all over the kitchen cabinets. I understand that this was an extreme event and it takes time to coordinate and complete repairs, however that does not excuse the lack of communication coming from Management. Also during this time there has not been any discussion of any sort of concessions while residents have been without an apartment for over a month with no timeline in sight. For the price they are charging and lack of customer service, there are better options in the area.

On top of that, they will send the wrong amount and when you ask they have no response. They say I dont know. Although, the ledger shows a payment was made almost 6 months prior to them sending to collections!!!Its a nightmare working with these people and it will be nothing but a headache to get your account figured out. Plus, they management team will blame any issue on prior staff and 3rd party companies.I REPEAT - DO NOT MOVE HERE. The lake and the bar on site is not worth the trouble you will have once you move out. Also, people steal packages!!!(Jessica Stephens you owe them money!!!!)

I would give a 0 star if I could. Please please please do NOT stay at this place. This place is a fraud. I moved 2 weeks back and before the winter storm even hit, we lost heat and it’s been 9 days and it’s not fixed yet. The outside temperature is higher than the unit’s. We had no heat, no water for a week and nothing is fixed yet. The management says ‘Their hands are tied’ for absolutely everything. Super cheap build with all kinds of issues. The management does not manage anything at all. Can’t switch unit, can’t fix the HVAC, can’t speak to the tenant directly and can’t accommodate anything. All the positive reviews are paid. Do NOT fall for the positive reviews. Biggest mistake in my life is to sign the lease here.

Extremely disappointed with the way Discovery has handled things. Weve had multiple issues: 1) On our move-in date our smart key was not set properly and my partner and I had to wait until the office opened up at 12pm on a Sunday when we already had movers at the complex at 10. No proper apology was given by the leasing agent - just a Im sorry this happened. No ownership of the mistake that they made. Im giving this a 2 star because the property manager was able to recover the situation.. Only 3 weeks AFTER I had tried multiple attempts to reach out to someone with my concerns & complaints. 2) The biggest factor though, is their maintenance. We were given a number that only goes directly to an automated system that doesnt even reach anyone and no one gets notified. Come to find out, its the same number as their leasing office listed on the website. If you decide to move here, consider that if you have any issues- they might not get the message. Im only saying this because when we were locked out, we had to wait until the office opened- and that was in the morning. If that were to ever happen at night itd be a real issue. 3) Lastly, no one picks up their dogs mess around here. The dog parks are unkept. Discoverys prices are steeper than other complexes weve seen but we decided to move here for that luxury living. Truly disappointing from such an area. Consider looking at other options or doing more research before ultimately deciding on Discovery.

This place is fantastic. They keep it clean. The waterfall is soothing to see in the distance from my patio. Something is always being upgraded. The new gym is so freaking nice, the 3 pools are awesome, I can actually get out there instead of it being filled with kids or a bunch of dudes, I like the resident entry that lets me in the gate right when I pull up, I like the security guard at the gate to keep out the riff-raff and screen visitors. When I first moved in, there were a few issues. Refrigerator didnt work right, light fixture didnt work and there was a water leak in a unit above mine. Let me say, Ive lived in lots of apartments for the last 12 years and Ive had a water issue at every one of them. No place has ever responded to a water leak with a larger show-of-force than Discovery @ Realm. I notified maintenance via the web portal and I think they were here in just a few minutes with 3 or 4 people to address the issue. I was impressed! The staff is fantastic. Diego from maintenance fixed my light fixture and took care of some other issues, a trustworthy fellow. Veton is the guy I toured with and who I signed the lease with, he was great, not high-pressure at all, just proud of the property and glad to show it. The concessions at lease signing were off-the-hook!I am very satisfied with my apartment. It is indeed pricey, but Ive seen worse in worse location that charge more. It is worth it.

If you must move here or want to tour ask for David in the office he is the most helpful and friendly of all the staff. 5/13/2021If you are from Texas you probably know the about situation regarding the Weather and state wide power outages. This is what my experience has been living in these apartments as a mom of two toddlers.( I have never in my life writing a google review but I feel like this a big deal and I want others to be aware )On 2/12 before the winter storm hit all of building 1’s HVAC system went out (as it has before multiple times this winter)The temperature were down to 1 degree by Sunday 2/14 and still they had not resolved the HVAC System. The next morning 2/15 now 3 days with out proper heating in freezing weather . The power went out which I know the weather is out of there control however . We are the only building with this issue so while the other apartments are able to reheat there apartments when the power comes back on in brief moments ours is not. Two days go by and nothing has been resolved. Early in the morning on 2/17 My apparent is now flooded, do to pipes bursting. ( me and all my neighbors were effected down the entire hall) so now we have no running water, heat and brief electricity and a flooded units. I called emergency maintenance and they have yet to come address the flood and it’s been 7 hours since I placed the call.I also sent management an email to only get a reply 4 hours later stating there is nothing they are doing to help the residents effected at this time . Worst management team I have encountered in my rental history . They simply just do not care at all about the people in the community. After talking to my neighbors they have had on going issues with HVAC in building one for a looonnng time now and have yet to find a permanent solution. and we PAY A SEPARATE HVAC FEE AS AN ADDITIONAL UTILITY EVERY MONTH !!!! Separate from the electric bill . (Which I’ve never seen before at any other complex in the area)They will fine you $50 for the smallest trash violations on top of the $30 on month . But offer no resolution for a flooded apartment or constantly broken HVAC system. If I can get out of my lease I will be moving ASAP THE building is not reliable and seems like they have major construction issue that need to be addressed. All of the positive reviews you are seeing during the same time frame is because the office is giving out $25 gift cards for positive reviews on google and Facebook

I stop by today. The representative was with a customer. I walked in, she did greet meet. I sat down to wait my turn. The rep stopped to ask me in front of the other customers, she was helping. What was I looking for, I told her a one bedroom. She stated when. I said end of August. She said our availability will not be until September. I said ok.Learning lesson for the representative. You should have still show a potential tenant a model of the apartment and the available amenities for the complex. Maybe got my information to call me at later time, if something became available. However, in my opinion she was not interested in truly helping me. First impression means lot. In this case Discovery just lost a future resident.

John Hs review has described my experience to the T. The community is very well maintained and wow beautiful. All employees go above and beyond to make sure everything you need is taken care of. But Devin, Pamela (not there anymore :-( loved her!) and Jose show an excellence in customer service and work ethic that you just dont see very often. Honestly this is the best place Ive lived to date.

With every apartment complex, they have their ups and downs, but the amenities and courtesy that the Discovery has shown has been the best since Ive lived in the Metroplex area.My girlfriend and I have lived here since October and we love almost every aspect of the apartment complex and its community.Starting with our leasing agent (Devin), he has been awesome with helping us setup our apartment and continues to go above and beyond in terms of services, requests, and anything that we ask of them.A couple of months ago, we had concerns about security around the apartments and they hired a security company that patrols the complex 24/7, so it feels safer.Overall, every inch of the property is beautiful and most of the neighbors that we have met are really nice.

Im not a resident, but did apply and got approved to live here.I worked with a leasing agent name Jazmine who at first was very nice and professional. However, later in my application process, she couldnt confirm if I was guaranteed a parking garage spot. She also let me know to first pay the security deposit bc I had issues with my payment when I tried to apply. She assured me that the full security deposit would be refundable even after I applied.Since she couldnt guarantee the garage spot, I changed my mind and found another apt.She then tells me she cannot refund the full security deposit bc they needed to charge my app fee from that amount. (something she didnt make clear)So I follow-up with THREE diff emails that she completely ignored to ask if theyve mailed that part of my security deposit. I finally got a response from Brooke, but Im still waiting on the check.Mediocre service from the office.

Let me start by saying that you should not move here. 1. I have been here since 2016 and continue to have poor customer service from the attendants and managers at this complex. Two years ago the fire alarm in my building went off 3-4 times a week around 2am and the office claimed it was electrical and this went on for a few months which was irritating, but I stayed and renewed my lease which was a bad choice in judgment.2. Due to where my apartment and tub pipes are located, whenever it freezes in the winter my draining pipes for my tub freeze and they still have not found a solution to fix this each winter which is appalling.3. Also, they enter your residence every month with short notice about filter changes, pest control or last minute installations which is hard if your have a pet. They are not considerate when you attempt to make arrangements for them to come at a certain time. I like to be present whenever someone comes into my home as I do not want my dog running out into the street and potentially getting hit by a car. And what is crazy is the 90% of the residents have DOGS!4. This last incident was the last straw. They sent an email a DAY before stating that would be in my apartment over the next two days to install a ventilation system in my laundry room and I made arrangements to have them come on a specific date and time as my mom was generous enough to stay at home that day since she was off to watch him. I called the office multiple times to get an ETA on when they would arrive and all I got was the run around. I was furious as my mom had been there since 8am, and it was now time for me to head home at 4pm and no one arrived. I finally had to call in & demand a manager. The manager (Catherin B.)finally called me back and stated she would find out when maintenance would come and would call me back. Of course no return phone call at all. The icing on the cake, is that we have an awesome bar ran by Ryan who is great, and the Catherine had nerve to come to the bar and then go the the pool!! Are you serious?!? They do not care for the residents here and I have contacted my attorney and will be calling corporate.Lastly, over the last few months even though we have security at the gate we have had more than 10 incidents of car thefts. OMG!Once again, DO NOT MOVE HERE!It saddens me about how management turned south and they do not care about their residents nor their pets.

I lived at this community for about a year and a half and never had any major issues. Before I moved here I hated apartments. For some reason I always got screwed at the end of my lease and they charge me for every little thing. That was not the case this time here, FINALLY. The staff and security team are friendly. The amenities are nice, very dog friendly. Honestly if you dont have a dog your in the minority. The apartments are the nicest Ive personally lived in and ease of access to highway 121 is a bonus. Would move here again!

We stopped by to take a look at the apartments, waited 40 minutes in the leasing office before an employee even arrived, they had another guest so it was 10 more minutes before she even acknowledged us. Then she left again to do a tour, by the time we had sat there for an hour and fifteen minutes we were fed up. An hour and fifteen minutes to not even see anything and get a basic excuse from the employee? Keeping in mind it’s the middle of the day in the middle of the week, not a high volume time. Wow.

Over the past week I have had the pleasure of working with both Devin and Pamela to sign our lease and move into our apartment. I can honestly say both of them are the two best leasing agents I have ever dealt with. Both were extremely patient and made sure all of our questions and concerns were taken care of. Both made us feel as if we were more of a friend joining their community versus just another person to come in and sign a lease. This complex is extremely clean and well taken care of and one of the only properties that when you call the leasing office they actually pick up the phone, what a concept! Other apartment complex communities should take some notes from the staff here.See the other reviews, there is a reason this place is rated so highly!Thank you Devin and Pamela for everything you have done for us thus far we truly appreciate it.

My very 1st week their on site I lived in apartment 1215 there was a stabbing right across the hallway. There was blood everywhere. I prepaid my lease and Michelle told me that she had my apartment rented out and that I would get my $2400 back. My Apartment was rented out July 13th. Once I moved out they would not return my phone calls, I had to show up to Dallas two different times. Saved all of Michelles text messages. I had to call corporate to get them involved. I have all of the emails and correspondence from corporate, misty and Michelle. Last time which was 2 weeks ago when I went to the apartment complex to demand my money. Michelle closed her door would not discuss the ledger that she changed. They called security on me because, I was there demanding my money back. Finally misty came in the office and said ill give you your money back I dont have time to deal with this! I have this all on recording. I had to threaten them with legal action in order to get my money back. Worst management team. You can hear dogs barking 24/7 inside your apartment. This was brought to misty and Michelles attention and I was told to deal with it because its apartment living. Everybody seems nice until you move in. Move out its a whole different ball game. Saver paperwork save messages save everything! You can look up the stabbing on Google. I have the picture of the blood in the hallway.

Beware!!! This is a total party complex with bloody fights, lack of good security and a property manager that doesnt care. The police are here quite a bit and personally told me they nearly had to tase the actual security staff member on duty. After a bloody incident late on a weeknight, there was a trail of blood all over the sidewalk, up the stairway and into the courtyard. I asked Misty Jones to please take it seriously and have the blood PROFESSIONALLY removed. She later told me her own staff cleaned it. Well, its still there. This is why you pay somebody professional to clean a biohazard! She obviously didnt care enough to go look at it when they were done. Its blood people! I called ERIC STANLEY, the COO of Bright Realty, for help in resolving the issue. First words out of his mouth were, whos gonna pay for it? He said the blood in the public areas was no different than me cutting myself shaving in my bathroom. Wow! I have this recorded if youd like to hear for yourself. Guess its a top down thing. If you love late parties, slamming hallway doors that sounds like constant gunfire, no sleep, a property manager that doesnt care, a parent company in Bright Realty that is no better and touching blood... This is the place for you! They reply saying they cleaned it. View the after pics and decide for yourself! If you plan to sign up for this place, at least use Devin. I wish I could rate this complex a 0. Im convinced the people leaving reviews must be the employees or friends of employees. The staff is incompetent, non-responsive and they dont care anything about customer service at all. Devin Cummings (leasing consultant) and Misty Jones (property manager) blatantly lied and when I went to corporate about it (Parker Bright) he said they would investigate because I had supporting emails and texts and they didnt do any investigation. I have been here since 9/1/16. I chose to renew my lease. The complex has had several major issues due to its new construction and I personally have experienced weather (water) coming into my apt due to the construction design of the complex.I have to say in all honesty that all of my concerns were addressed. Yes, it took numerous trial and error to fix it.... but it was fixed. I have never spoken with any one in the office that didnt take my concerns seriously. Devin, Michelle, and the current staff have addressed my concerns.**Devin was there at every step to help resolve the water coming into my apt***THANK YOU DEVIN!Yes, dogs do bark alot... thats because nearly 60% of the residents are dogs! Yes, the elevators DO breakdown a little more frequently than normal... its normal usage and when movers hold the elevators open for extended periods of time.Yes, I did have mold in my apt.... and IT WAS PROPERLY addressed! The maintenance staff are great! Elton, Jose and Kenny I cant say enough GOOD things about them!I didnt give the complex 5 stars bc of the wasps that plagued my apt entrance and patio. Maintenance responded quickly and I even purchased some spray to help eliminate the wasps. This issue I feel and believe took away from my quality life of being able to enjoy my patio.I dont discount the negative reviews of the others...I can only speak to my experience. Well see what the next 12mos have in store.I have recommended the complex to others.

Think about this before you sign too.You can hear electricity running thru the lines if not for the million cars passing by on the toll road at 70 plus mph. A RULE to follow is to never live near giant electricity delivery lines, or a busy highway. The complex was built in the worst location. Lewisville runs a active dump a short distance away to the southeast. The dump smells, and catches fire on occasion. The traffic noise pollution is extremely high. Toothacres cremates animals and the wind blows south. Good luck in this wonderful place, the location is awful. Land was cheap, and no one else would have built at this site. Lewisville approves projects without much thought of the acceptance. The original land owner Bum Bright was a honest business man. Is his family honest now they are in control. My vote is in, is yours.

Lived at Discovery for 2 years and never had any issues here. When we first moved in, we originally had terrible neighbors on all sides of us. Between playing music at all hours, and partying until 4 am on weeknights, we were ready to move.I talked with Misty in the office after weeks of trying to get the issues resolved and she was very accommodating. We were able to pick a new unit and moved immediately with no hassle. As with most apartments, thin walls can be an issue. Your bedroom here will usually line with someones living room and some are inconsiderate with their subwoofers watching tv. In my new unit, I had no issues with our neighbors directly on either side. The main noise that we got was from people talking on phones on their balconies, or talking in the courtyard late at night. Personally, I recommend living on the top floor simply because the apartments do have wood floors and I dont like the sounds of heavy footed tenants stomping around their kitchen and living room. The property by itself is beautiful and I loved the little pond in the middle. It was nice to sit out there and relax throughout the year. I hardly used the bar, but it was nice to have the option to. The hallways and elevators are regularly cleaned and I never had an issue with them feeling dirty. On the subject of the elevators though, they break.... a lot. This is a common thing with most apartments, but it seemed like they broke much more often here than others. There are 2 for every building, so there was always one to use except for one instance when the power went out and they were both out for a few hours.Only one parking spot is allowed in the garage per unit which was a bit annoying, but not a dealbreaker for me. I never had issues finding parking for my building. One thing I especially enjoyed here was the air conditioning. It was stupidly efficient and even in the middle of august, Id find myself turning it off at times because the apartments were well insulated and held the temperature. I never had issues with the AC breaking either except for again, during a severe thunderstorm where everyone lost power for a bit.I honestly did not want to leave the property with how centralized it is to everything in the Frisco area. The only reason I left was for a job that I took that was making me drive an hour and a half to work every morning and I wanted to be closer. Had I not taken the job, I wouldve probably upgraded my unit to something larger. The Kroger up the street is one of the very few Kroger Marketplace stores in the state and its nicer than any grocery store youll find yourself in. Youre within 10 minutes from Legacy Food Hall, Ikea, Willow Bend Mall, multiple movie theaters, and more. Ive lived in the west plano/Lewisville area for near 5 years now and I truly do miss living in this area. Most of the negative reviews seem to be from issues that happen in every apartment Ive ever lived in. Crime has no address and everything listed here seemed to be isolated incidents. I never felt unsafe here.Overall, I really do miss Discovery and if given the chance, I would definitely move back to this area.

I lived here for 13 months and it’s terrible. Worst place I have ever lived by far and I’ve lived in a lot of apartments. The parking is terrible and we were told that they were going to be renting the spaces after we moved in which was a lie. You will pay so much in added on fees and the 2nd electricity bill that they make you pay is ridiculously outrageous as is the water bill. Don’t let them tell you it’s cheaper cause it’s not. The office staff will tell you the water and electricity bills are back logged by 2 months it’s actually 3 months and they take it out of your deposit when you leave. The office staff isn’t helpful and avoid straight answers. When I moved in my apartment was brand new and two months before I moved out we had a leak in our ceiling. Our apartment looked like a construction zone for a week and we had dust everywhere because they cut three big holes in the ceiling allowing the dust and insulation to fall into our bedroom and living room. My boyfriend has sever asthma which caused us to have to go live with my sister for the week. The office was not helpful and finally offered us money off the rent. Which all we had asked was to have the apartment cleaned which they scheduled with us and then never showed up even after we followed up with them multiple times . Also I told them if they needed me to move the furniture to tell me and that I would do it which they didn’t and chipped my $1200 dresser. To which the office didn’t care about. The people who live there are also very rude. Our downstairs neighbor was the worst she had no regard for other people and would complain about the smallest thing. On multiple occasions she would come up to our apartment and say us walking and moving a dinning room chair was to loud. On the other hand she would alllow her dog to bark for hours on end and she would talk on the phone for hours on her balcony. One week she was hammering something for hours and it was making the wall vibrate. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything for example people talking, watching tv, walking, dogs barking, you name it you can hear it. The fire alarms would go off all the time to the point where it sometimes took the fire department 20 min to show up because they knew it was a false alarm. The elevators break all the time and I lived on the top floor. Once it was out for two weeks. The good reviews you see on here are most likely from residents who were bribed by free drinks from the “bar” on the property. Or the crazy people. When I moved out I spent $225 to get the apartment professionally cleaned and it looked the same as when I moved in. The office charged me $75 for a light cleaning which they never told us they were going to charge. Don’t live here avoid this place like the plague!

From the first day I was to move in, the office staff were so rude I had to literally jump back in their faces to get them out of mine over a issue that wasnt even any of their business. If not for Devin, I wouldnt have stayed to finish the paper work. I have been sited for my outdoor patio furniture, they claimed it was indoor furniture and needed to be removed. I wonder what genius is able to determine the difference. Meanwhile, after living here 3 months I get a bill for $107.00 and a 1st warning to pay immediately. I had zero idea what it was for... well I found out it was for a additional electric bill they charge the residents and claim it is for just the locked up air-conditioner/ heat unit in our individual apartments. They make zero mention of this but tell us to pick a utility company ourself for our electricity. So, we are getting billed by the complex and our individual utility companies. My place is a two bedroom and I am paying any where from $175 to $200 a month between the two . Also, there are no parking garages but they give you a spot under the building, but even for a 2 bedroom, you get only one spot. The elevator is always broken. And with the past storms, my apartment is showing major structural damage on walls . Last month my account was frozen due to fraud and my funds were locked up on the 2nd and I was not aware of it. I thought I had paid, on-line it stated it went though and I walked away.. no notice was given to me except my bank notifying me that my account was frozen till they could solve the issue. Someone was taking money out every hour. I emailed the complex about this and got no respond from the property manager.. ever.. she referred me to another person . I also had dropped off a money order for rent the day my account unfroze, on the 8th. I got a notice on my door, that I did not know I got since my son was here and I was out of town. By the time he remembered and had stuck it in my pantry, 4 days had passed. I went on line to pay and the amount they said I still owed. From the time of notice to the time I went on line to pay it was $150.00 more in fees.I told them I could not pay that amount above the amount owed and had explained the issues and would gladly pay anything still owned for rental fees. I got no real response and was basically made to feel like it was my problem. It is a my problem deal if I hadnt tried to explain to them. I again brought up the additional electric bill with no response. I have emailed and tried to get communication and I have got nothing. I also quit my gym to use gym here. Half the time the equipment is broke and I am paying now up to $1750, for a 2 bedroom apartment. I was told it would be a certain price per month and now its way over that and with additional electrity bills. I moved from a complex in Bedford that had 3 murders in one year and they released me from my lease due to the issue. I have seen police here several times and to get into complex is so simple its a joke there is security. The office staff beside Devin ( and all fairness, never dealt with any of the rest except on first day I moved in) and the maintenance staff, the rest are arrogant and rude. I am in Real Estate and picked this complex for several reason even though the cost is ridiculous for the amenities. I have referred several clients to other complex while they wait for a build job or need temp. housing, but based off my experiences with the staff and the fact .... never has anyone heard of two electricity bills by a complex. Also, I have two friends that had breast cancer and due to all the power lines, they were advised to not move here, so I would think that if this place wants a good word.. treat the residents like you care.. word of mouth is huge. I would still recommend my complex in North Richland Hills due to the friendly staff and prompt responses. I had to move for work location . Also, they charge you $10.00 to replace a light bulb that goes out in your apartment. Seriously...

Every tenant I have spoken to here had no idea that they would have 2 ELECTRIC bills...as you can see from picture they clearly don’t tell you upfront...also there are NO “Yes Electric” meters on the property only coserv. Which means the property is guessing usage. It’s also interesting that it’s always approximately 1/2-2/3 of your coserv bill....so if you have a $100 coserv bill (everything but AC/Heat according to complex) the Yes Electric bill is $50+ (even thou the paper work they present to you about utilities clearly ONLY says “water”. Coserv charges 9¢/kWh and you can guess it, “Yes Electric” charges a higher rate. It’s obvious they are only using Coserv and using “Yes Electric” (I called and confirmed they are ONLY a billing service and not a provider) to mark up and cover some cost or it’s going to someone’s slush fund....oh and bye the way the elevator in building 3 has been down at least 4 times

Its A SHAME that this beautiful complex is ran so POORLY. Almost 3 WEEKS AGO I had a flood in my apartment coming from our laundry room. Maintenance dropped off a vacuum and had another call. I cleaned up this flood (2 inches of water throughout the apartment) MYSELF and by the time maintenance made it back it was almost all cleaned up. I contacted insurance and was told the apartments first needed to check the plumbing, etc because the washer worked fine afterwards and didnt actually overflow. Next day comes, I call multiple times and go up there on my lunch break to try to talk to the manager and find out what I need to do to get this moving forward. I state that I am scared of BLACK MOLD that could grow in the apt. Everytime I went there they told me MISTY was going to call me or MISTY the property manager just left for lunch. I contacted them EVERY DAY & went into the office almost every day for an exact week, BOUGHT MY OWN FANS TO DRY THE APT OUT because maintenance called and said We are actually going to wait and see if its still wet in a few days and starts growing MOLD because it looked pretty dry when we went in but never came to check it.... & I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW WASHER BECAUSE THEY WERE ADAMANT THAT IT WAS MY WASHER AND MY INSURANCE NEEDED TO FIX EVERYTHING EVEN THOUGH NOBODY EVER CAME OUT TO TROUBLESHOOT. Exactly 1 week and 1 day (TUESDAY) from the flood I ran the 5th load ever on a BRAND NEW WASHER PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED and ofcourse, it starts leaking all over the drip tray, filling up water on my floors & baseboards, and I had to shut it off midway. I called the apartments to let them know and I was again BLOWN OFF for another week. I CALLED AND WENT IN THERE AND EMAILED, EVEN CONTACTED THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE MULTIPLE TIMES TO TELL THEM THAT THE PLACE NOW SMELLS LIKE MILDEW AND MOLD AND I WAS GIVEN THE RUN AROUND. One of the girls at the office even said I dont know what you want me to do about this, MISTY isnt here right now but she will call you. Finally Friday (2 weeks after the first flood) I was contacted by Michelle asking if I could come put up my dog because someone was supposed to enter the apartment to check for moisture....I repeat 2 WEEKS LATER. I reschedule for Monday so I can plan my dog being put up and the company comes out & says all of the flooring needs to be replaced. WE ARE NOW ON THE THIRD WEEK SINCE THE FIRST FLOOD. I called Nebraska Furniture Mart and talked them into replacing my washer to check for defects since it was BRAND NEW. They agreed to swap it out for free and check for defects. Now for WEEKS I was told that MISTY would call me, email me, come see me, etc. AND WHEN I CALLED THEY SAID OH SHES AT LUNCH, SHE JUST LEFT, ETC. So ofcourse it was shocking when I got a call finally from MISTYs cell phone on Monday night at about 7PM (the third week from the first flood) and she says that SHES BEEN OUT OF TOWN. Misty comes over, & said dont worry either way you arent going to be paying for the floors. We agreed to test the THIRD WASHER out in the apt so we could find the leak. The talk was good EVEN THOUGH SHE BLATANTLY LIED TO MY FACE about being OUT OF TOWN even though her employees were telling me SHE WAS AT LUNCH OR AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE/etc. She then tells me DONT worry about black mold, these apartments have concrete underneath them that wont get any mold....Umm Im not an expert but I highly doubt that black mold cant grow on concrete, under the vinyl flooring, nor under the baseboards and walls. Tuesday of the THIRD WEEK I take a call and am IMMEDIATELY told I am on a recorded line on speaker phone with the company Dalworth who checked the floors and the apt maintenance and management. They then spit off that the floor repairs are going to cost $4000 DOLLARS and wanted to see if I would approve the work. I told them that I finally spoke to Misty for the first time & we had a completely different conversation.
