I went to get my nails done today. I kept the old extensions I used for my nails last time and the lady complained about me not getting new ones. I am on a tight budget for my own reasons so I didn’t want new ones. They also charged me $5 for taking off gel on my toes. They’ve never charged that before and I’ve been going here since I was a teenager with my family. The toe polish was regular but smudged and was not painted well as you can see. I was charged $75. Not sure how but it’s very expensive for SNS in my nails and regular polish. She also cut my cuticle blaming me moving, and filed so hard on one finger it really hurt and almost bled. Not going here again. I was rushed out the door when I tried to sit down to let my toes dry so I could pay and leave while another lady (white) was already sitting getting her nails dry. Very unprofessional and rude.

They are horrible on time management and will have you waiting for hours! So many workers for what? Then they sit people who came after you but claim they had an appointment but you watch the people after you just ask for a simple pedi or mani and not say they have an appointment. The older guy in the front is rude and cursed me out because I didn’t want to wait. Horrible service

The place was nice and it had a calm atmosphere. However some of the staff isnt friendly or inviting. They look like they didnt want to be there and they portray very poor attitudes. Didnt like it.

My first visit was with a gift card and it was a great experience. I went back with my sister, her husband and my niece, and again, a nice experience but I noticed that the lady add acetone to the enamel because it was dry. (I am a nail technician and I know you are not supposed to mix acetone with the nail enamel)I made the mistake of not saying anything. We were done, everything was fine, we left and after 2 hours, one of my gel nails started chipping and my toes looked horrible, like if I had closed shoes on after they pain them, but no, I was wearing sandals. I went back the next day to get my gel nails and toes fixed and to take my other niece for a full set.Let me tell you something... first of ALL... it is rude to speak in another language in front of people. I worked in customer service for about 6 years and NEVER, did I speak Spanish in front of people who didnt understand it. It is a lack of respect.The lady wanted to fix my toe nails by adding more dry enamel I tried to explained her and she started talking in her language and she seemed very upset. I ask to fix two of my gel nails and she only started fixing one, when I pointed at the other nail and ask her to fix it she got upset and started talking to the other lady about me in their language. YOU DONT DO THAT. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE, THEY ARE RUDE AND THEY GET UPSET IF THEY HAVE TO FIX THEI MISTAKES.

There will NOT be a strike~~THREE, two previous times I was there,they sat me in the chair, filled the foot bath, walked away........never seen them again for 10 minutes....someone DID ask me, what was the problem. I told her, she said sorry, walked away, came back told me the girl will be right there....SHE WASNT I LEFT!!!! TWO DIFFERENT TIMES, that has happened!!!!!

I have been going to Venice Nails for years; however, I have noticed a change in managements behavior regarding customer service. It appears Tony, Mimi, Michael, and his fiancee or girlfriend are very selective with whom they provide exceptional customer service. As owners and managers of Venice Nails, they should all exhibit professionalism and deliver excellent customer service across the board. It is understandable when we make appointments; nail tech sometimes runs behind schedule. What is unacceptable is, after waiting for several minutes in the waiting area or elsewhere, no one from the management team follows up to advise the nail tech(s) is running behind schedule or even offer an apology for the wait. Tony is an example of this. I confronted Tony about my concerns, and his response was, I am sorry I dont get involved. WHAT!!! You are the face of Venice Nails!!!! But when a caucasian woman walks in, managements demeanor changes. What am I missing?

Kim and Christy did such a great job and were so friendly! I did the Lavender Spa Pedi and Kim just about put me to sleep with the best leg and foot massage ever! Tons of lotion, warm towels, and hot stones left me feeling relaxed. Christy did my SNS, a manicure, and my eyebrows. My nails were in bad shape from going to another place previously and having a lot of old SNS powder built up on my nails. Christy was very diligent about removing it, shaping my nails, and working to get the pale pink color of SNS I wanted. My eyebrows are also looking so much better. Thank you both! I will be back.

They will do a good job with your nails for a good price, but you can also count on them cutting you on accident when they trim your cuticle area.

My 1st time getting the SNS nails & a pedi($90) for my birthday, they were nice Michael did them...I went back on the 15 th of May for a cut down and color change,pedi and a pedi for my daughter and son($140)...the person (Danny) who was doing my SNS color change and cut down was very slow, he made them very thick...I gave him the benefits of the doubt, in hopes it would get better, but nooooo, it didnt...i noticed several times the walming over speaking to him in their native tongue, as to hurry him along or maybe something more but because we were really tired from waiting on him to finish, we bolted from out of the chairs to pay...to tell the truth, I hated his work and I wanted to complain on the spot but because my kids were there, we just left...while at home just looking at what I paid for just upset me and to add to insulation to injury, the things started to hurt, while trying to do little simple things around the house to trying to do my job at work was an ordeal...I had enough, on my off day th 18th of May, I went back to complain and to seek relieve and compensation for time & money wasted...I got there, told the person at the counter (Nancy) my situation and that I wanted to see a manager, she directed me to Michael, he told me all they could for me, was to sandwich the edges where Danny didnt and re-apply the top coat...Nancy did just what Michael told her to do, she slightly improved the look but instead of looking freshly done, they looked a week + old...I paid out a lot of money just to receive mediocre service...so unsatisfied...the morale of my review, complain at the time of service and seek satisfaction on the spot...dont wait!!!!! Each dollar you work for and spend is important and should treated as such.

Nail tech put on acrylic tip crooked, and made nail longer than other hand. There’s random sparkles in my nails when the color I picked isn’t sparkly.

Came to visit family for Thanksgiving. My sister-in-law recommended this place. Incredible!!! I got the Detox Volcano Deluxe pedicure. Very clean and sanitary, following all cleansing, mask wearing, and social distancing mandates. They even went one step further and used a liner in their pedicure basins. Impressive. I had Kim, she was friendly and very attentive to my needs. She seen me rubbing my neck and offered to massage my neck and shoulders. Amazing!!! This place comes highly recommended from me.

It’s a hit and miss with the tech you get. Will recommend making appointments with Michael, jimmy or Nina for hands. Aida, Kelly or Nataly for pedicures. If you don’t make an appointment good luck!

This is my first time visiting the location and I wasn’t impressed. The tech who did my friend’s pedi was rude and was not personable. Tammy did my pedi and the foot/leg massage was so discomforting. I told her several times that it hurt. She was pushing so hard into my legs and feet. I was ready for it to be over. The polish job was thick and uneven and she cut my cuticle. I told her and she continued to put alcohol on it causing it to burn even more. Also while getting my nails soaked off by another tech, she took my wedding rings off without asking me and placed them carelessly on the little table that holds your purse/phone. I took them and put them in my purse so that they would fall on the floor. One and done for me.

They both took their time, Michael pays incredible attention to detail & Lahnie was the absolute best massage I have ever had! I have been here one other time with my fiancé and it was great. I went in with my fiancé last night after a stressful day at work and I was going to get my SNS changed and he was getting a manicure. We walked in and they asked what we wanted and we proceeded to tell him. The girl looked at all the people there were a mix of 5 people in the salon. I looked the person that did my nails last time dead in the eyes as he just stands in the middle of all the tables and the lady came back and told me there was no one to do my nails. They still had an hour and a half before even closing and I feel as if they just didn’t want to take us because they all wanted to get out of there earlier than they even close. Very upsetting.

If you are black DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Staff is very prejudice. Especially towards black men. Would have gave them no stars if it were an option.

I have been going to see Tony and Mimi for almost 20 years. I currently have Jimmy doing my nails and Natalie doing my toes. I cant express how much I love this place!!!!! They know exactly what I want and I am never disappointed. I would highly recommend making an appointment since they are so busy. Also remember that they try to give every client the services they expect so if they are running a little bit behind its only because they are willing to spend the extra time with all their clients. Trust me, its worth the wait!!!!!

So, I went Venus last week and there wasn’t that many people in the shop so I was quickly assisted. I sat down and a man who appeared to be called from the back, interrupting whatever he was doing, came to do my nails. He was very quick with my nails, like worryingly quick. I told my sister through out that he was working way too fast, I’ve gotten my nails done before and I’ve never had my nails done so quickly. He didn’t care to shape my nails, he simply went with the guide he did with the scissors and it showed as my middle finger was slightly triangular instead of coffin shaped like I asked. The end result was okay, except for the shaping of my one middle finger, I let it go because I’m not a perfectionist. Now fast forward a week and two of my nails, one being the middle finger, has broken off. I’ve come to Venus before and the lady who did my nails did a great job, my nails stayed for a while. Sadly this experience wasn’t the same and I wasted 35 dollars and a tip, all because of someone rushing my nails. If y’all want consistency don’t come here.

I was truly unimpressed by this place. I’m truly happy for the people that have had a 5 star experience but my experience was more in line with those that have had a 1 star experience. The woman at the front had me sit down at one of the stations. I thought “Cool, I can get what I need done fairly quick and continue on with my errands.” Nope, waited 10-15 minutes before anyone came and acknowledged me. When I was getting ready to leave the woman at the front came and assured me that the lady was coming. I thought “fine, I’ll wait another few minutes”. She did finally come and started on taking off the tips I had. Well then apparently she was being summoned somewhere else so then she left. Fortunately I didn’t have to wait another 10-15 minutes for someone else. She came fairly quick but seemed like she didn’t really want to be there. She seemed like she just wanted to get this over and done quickly. And she moved so quick that I still have sticky glue on my fingers. So needless to say, I am definitely unimpressed and have no intention of going back. Again, I’m truly happy for those that have had a great experience but unfortunately mine was not.

The salon is very clean and the associates are nice as well. I do feel as my services were rushed though. I’m not very satisfied with my nails.

I’ve tried many nail salons and this is by FAR the best. It doesn’t matter what tech you see, they are all wonderful. Mimi makes it a point to come and see me every time I come by, and they make you feel like family! Great place.

I would give them a 0 star rating if it was an option. We had an extremely negative experience with possibly the rudest customer service ever by one of the nail techs. This is supposed to be a nail salon and spa, and a place where you can go for self care and pampering, not to be insulted. I went cause my nail cracked in the middle she fixed it by only adding glue and the sns powder untop basically cover it up instead of doing new tip so it was doom to break off. Unhappy cause I just had gotten them two days prior of this incident.

Be very careful going to the Salon at Web Gin. They allowed one of their employees to work while apparently very ill (the redness of her nose said it all). She sneezed all over me and the next day I had strep-throat and a severe case of the Flu. When I called there to discuss it with the manager he was very defensive, rude and disrespectful. He tried to dismiss me by saying she had allergies and I “can’t prove that she made me sick.” His behavior was inexcusable and utterly ridiculous.Especially. considering I fell ill the very next day and was sick for 3 weeks. All he had to do was apologize. Instead, he lost a valuable customer.

I signed myself and daughter in on their sign in sheet. They took my 9 year old daughter to do her pedicure. After she was done and I had waited about 45 minutes and several people had been taken in front of me, I asked if I would be getting my nails done. They said they didnt know I wanted my nails done too. Why would I just take a 9 year old for a pedicure. Not to mention I signed in stating what I wanted done. I used to go here every couple weeks. Not anymore. I really hope yall get ypur business together before you loose more regulars.

I love this place. They do a fantastic job that I cant get anywhere else. I drive up from Valdosta to get my nails done. There is no one that compares to Venice Nails!

I went to Venice nails for the first time today and I was VERY satisfied! I walked right in and I did not have to wait. Ken did SO good on my SNS,I was very pleased. The woman doing my pedicure took her time and she painted my toe nails to perfection. The staff were amazing and everyone treated me so well. I would highly recommend this nail salon to anyone, they are amazing!

I asked for an SnS manicure and the manager took me back right away. The man who did my nails worked quickly, and they turned out well but weren’t exactly what I wanted. He only did two layers of powder, so my nails look thin and natural- but at other salons they do many more layers. I wasn’t opposed to this at first but I have a tendency to bite on my nails and the thin coat has already chipped but when the manicure is thicker (like other salons do) it does not chip. This is why I am giving three stars. Also be sure to tell your manicurist if you want fake nails because if you don’t they won’t ask. The salon isn’t exactly small but feels cramped because of the mirrored set up the have. I won’t be returning.

I had my eyebrows done, and even though the lady did a good job with the shape, I was not satisfied with how fast I was in and out. It was busy in the nail area so she rushed and was rough. Where is the relax experience? I didnt even get a chance to blink. Also, they charge $10 for eyebrow wax versus other salons in area at $8.

MaryAnn is the best to do gel nails. Im from A. Florida and found it hard to find a good nail technician. Clean and friendly.

Soooo this salon just reopened and revamped their salon in the last three months. I saw Nancy who did my nails and I love them! Although I didnt pay attention to the nail length in comparison to each other until I got home so be careful with that. I still love the results anyway. She made them thin like I like them and they have a huge assortment of colors! I will be back

It best to go when they are a little slow. This way they will spend time on you. They seem to do a better job when it is slower. However it is still not bad when it is busy.

My daughter and niece have been coming to this nail salon for several months and have hyped this place up. They convinced me that the service was very professional and the atmosphere was very elegant. So today I decided to give them a try and boy was I disappointed. I was impressed with the ambiance in the salon, but the service I received from a male technician was beyond horrible. He had a very nasty attitude and was very unprofessional. He made me feel so unwelcome and undeserving. I has been a long time since I have experienced that type of treatment when spending my hard earned money for services. I dont know if he was having a bad day or if I should have picked another day to visit, but one thing I do know is I will not be going back! Clean facilities. Friendly staff. You have a choice of beverages to be served while receiving your manicure and pedicure. The tropical spa was very relaxing and soothing. Rebeca and Kim were my technicians for my pedi and mani.

We waited 45 minutes because we they were busy. Then I see them take people who came in after us. She tried to say they had put their name on the list buy I saw when they came in and asked if they needed to put their name in a list and a girl told them no. So we left. They should treat all customers with them same respect and courtesy

I have given this place so so many tries. But each and every time it never goes well. This place seems really understaffed. There is always a wait even when the place isnt busy at all. When I went in the other day, I waited about 30 minutes just to be seen when it was pretty much empty. I didnt mind the wait. The lady I had just ruined it all. She literally rushed doing my nails so fast I was shocked. I asked her to even slow down and if she had some where she had to go. All she said was no Im just tired. She didnt even give me a manicure when I asked. I still had dry and hang nails at the end. She was clipping and filing so fast my fingers were hurting and the filing ended up being all uneven. I called the manager once I got home and politely told him what happened and agreed to come in to get them fixed. Once I got there, you guys, the nail lady started talking rudely to me saying theyre not uneven youre just expecting too much then mumbling under her breath.. even my friends said they didnt look good. I just wanted a small fix it wasnt even a big thing. She was so rude the entire time and being sarcastic trying to embarrass me. She was like I cant believe you told my boss that I didnt do well thats just rude. You just didnt know what you want blah blah. The other people were staring in confusion at me as well at her tone. After she was done fixing them, she literally left me at the table with filing powder over my nails and arms and yelled done, bye. then got up and left. I asked her to wipe off the powder and clippings and put on a top coat on and she said no unless you want to give me $10. Everyone was looking like did she really even do that.. So I told the manager what happened in a nice manner and he said she fixed it and to just pay the $10 and go. He didnt even care about the customer service, let alone apologize for her mistakes and rudeness. I was just telling him, you guys, I was so polite, and he was just saying yea i understand and go to a different nail lady next time but just pay me your $10 or Im gonna call the cops. At this point Im like why am I being attacked for simply stating a complaint. This situation should have been handled so much more professional. These are the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever encountered anywhere. Im just going back to Atlanta to get my nails done. I should have listened to my other friends and reviews and never have gone back. The customer service there is so below acceptable. The nail artists do not need to have a job where they have to interact. Just a complete mess of a visit. Spend your money at a place that wants you to have a good and professional experience.

This place is very busy which tells you a lot. I feel like they are very cleaner and use sterile instruments. I am very particular about this because I have seen infections from nail salons. People are professional and friendly.

Never get brows done here. The lady destroyed my brows and tried to fill in. When I got home I was appalled and missing most of my left brow. Not cool or honest experience.

I am not sure what happened to this place. It seems like the nail techs focus is how fast they can get customers in and out of their chair, which means quality suffers. When I left the nail salon and had a closer look at my toe nails the nail polish used or the application of it was just awful. The sns I recieved on my hands was already lifting on the corners by the 3rd day because they remove the cuticle with the handheld filer vs actually taking the time to remove it with a cuticle cutter. The sns was too thick, and nails on both hands were uneven. Need to find a new nail place.

Nina is my regular technician. She does an excellent job with SNS. She also takes time with my nails.

I have tried to give this salon chance after chance. This most recent time I took myself and 6 year old daughter. The put me at pedicure chair with no water to sit for 15 minds they put my daughter at the kids chair and she sat and waited for 40 mins before someone came to give her a little pedicure. Ridiculous. On top of that my daughter accidentqlly dropped one of her nail polishes (it didn’t break). She had picked it up because I asked her what color she was getting on her toes...I was trying to Lee her occupied bc the salon had made her wait so long. One of men that works there yelled at her to leave the polishes alone. This is my last attempt. I don’t mind waiting if I’m told up front but I certainly do not allow strangers to yell at daughter when something was an accident. My sister and her children no longer go to the salon for the same reasons. Take your money elsewhere.

They act like they’re doing you a favor. I’ve seen it happen with others and experienced it personally. The owners and some others seem to forget that there are many salons that you can choose from. They generally run behind, so making an appointment is senseless. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. Im sure that I’m not the first to make this statement. Believe, if and when they read this comment they will not take any ownership in improving their customer service and just blame the customer.

I have been coming here for almost two years and their service seems to be going downhill. I spent 3 whole hours trying to get my nails done. The first nail tech assigned to me was extremely rude and refused to do my nails the way I wanted. Then the next nail tech,Mimi, attempted to fix my problem but still did not leave my nails the way I wanted. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, just a black French tip, fill in and a manecure.I still paid and didn’t make them fix the extremely thick nail tip because it had been 3 hours already. Please don’t go here, their service gets worse and worse everytime I go. Don’t be fooled by the pretty decorations and atmosphere. I came out spending over 50$ For hideous nails and awful service. The nails are overpriced, they don’t do a good job and they are rude. Extremely disappointed, will never be coming back here again.

I usually go here and LOVE IT!! This time was different. The guy that did my nails was super rough and didn’t give me any time to look at the color selection (which is obviously very hard for girls especially when it comes to prom season). I told him I couldn’t choose he said “Well obviously I can’t choose for you so hurry up”. When filing my nails he cut my pinky, and it bled a lot. In the middle of my appointment he stood up and went out side to smoke... I ended up not liking my nails that I spent $40 on and definitely asking for someone else IF I go back. Very disappointed in my service.

I got a pedicure and manicure done here. It was a great experience. They were very attentive and took the time needed to give me a great leg/foot massage, hand massage, and beautiful paint job. The place was busy on a Sunday afternoon, but they seemed to turn over customers well, while at the same time being personable. I definitely will be returning whenever I am in the market for a professional mani/pedi.

I just walked out of this nail salon and I’ve never felt more uneasy and uncomfortable in my life. This is the second time I’ve been asked to pay prior to the nail tech even completing my services. I honestly don’t know if it’s because I’m a young black woman (I’ve been racially profiled before at these nail salons so it’s something I always have to ask) or because the nail tech was in a rush but either way it is so rude. Especially when sitting next to other women and watching the nail techs take their time to finish their nails. It is RUDE to request payment for a service you’ve not even finished yet. I’m not even sure it’s legal (as a law student will definitely look into the legality of that). Nevertheless, I will not be returning. If you look anything like me I’d be skeptical about coming her. The treatment is different, and it breaks my heart because if I am being treated differently because of my skin color it’s completely unfair—I didn’t choose to be born the color I am.

I barely ever take the time to write a review but this just needed to happen. Danny was so rude during my last visit there...simply came up to his chair without saying hello or even acknowledging me... and I just asked if I could see the color I chose one more time before we proceed as I was questioning the way it looked on the nail sample vs the bottle...his response was you chose this number and this is it...that was my boiling point and asked for someone else to help me. The customer sitting next to me was absolutely just as shocked with his attitude as I was... Then another lady came and was trying to make excuses for him and for his attitude...after she completed my sns my color had some white discoloration and it looked absolutely terrible...so there they go with another excuse about why this happened and they wouldnt know until the end...that was the worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon and lack of customer service and compassion is simply disgusting!

I have tried different nail salons and this place is the best. The service and their work is great.

Terrible service and wait times are a joke. Manager said 15 minutes and after I waited over 20 minutes and checked back in, the manager rudely confused me with another customer and asserted repeatedly that the wait would be another 25 minutes. Go to any other nail place - NOT HERE.

Kim, Diane and Cindy are very professional and always treat my grandson and I like family. We love them.

FRAUD!! This place does fraudulent transactions. I paid and on my credit card receipt I wrote zero for the tip because I gave the tech cash. When I checked my acct a few days later, they added there own tip that I did not authorize. When I confronted them about it, I was told that somebody must have pressed the wrong button. WTH, that is bs! This place is a FRAUD!! First and definitely last time going there!!!

Little miss Kelly did a wonderful job on fingers and toes..no appointment, I just walked in...I will come back...

I LOVEEEE this salon and I have been going there for years. Michael and Jimmy do my nails and Lynn does the best pedicures. They always make me feel special and valued as a customer. I never had a bad experience I do make appointments and never walk in. I moved to Buford and had bad experiences so I drive back to Snellville to go to this shop Michael, Jimmy and Lynn always does a great job!!!!!!!
