Living here was actually great. It was us moving out that was the problem!!! When I say one of the workers was the RUDEST person to my mother and us during this experience. Would not let us stay until the end of the month like requested because they already leased the apartment and did not let us know until 7 days before. Our place was not secured which is why we asked for the end of the month. . Then we were leaving kept harassing us and saying we had to leave by 12 and they called us at 10:45. Again no notice before hand. Said we had to leave before the leasing office closed or we had to pay 3x the rent. But kept calling us every hour to remind us. Which interrupted our packing. They treated us like trash and ruined our experience there with their unprofessionalism.

I like the team in the office and its generally very quiet. I feel safe here. My only issues are: trashy neighbors that leave trash outside for a week at a time or the ones who dont throw things directly into the dumpster for whatever reason, which makes a giant mess...and the buildings could also stand to be repainted.

These apartments are older but they make for a great warm atmosphere. The pool is such a great element to this property and the fact that they have built in gas grill is a huge plus for me. The maintenance crew as well as the landscapers do a great job at keeping the grounds up. The only reason i cant give a five stars is because the apartments do not come with upgraded appliances. Other than that very warm and welcoming community.

I have found my perfect home for me and my daughter! I love the grassy areas so my daughter and i can get out and play, plus the gorgeous sparkling pool is to die for! The office ladies are super helpful and answer any questions thrown their way. If your looking for a reasonable price in this crazy market and a very welcoming office staff you need to check this place out!

I have really enjoyed living here so far. The apartments are very nice and spacious and I have not experienced any issues with bugs. I have also not experienced any issues with noise and in fact its almost eerily quiet at times. The area is my only real complaint as it is in a area with not too much around and you have to take a long walk or a drive to restaurants or convenience stores. The price of these apartments is a bit steep but you definitely get what you pay for here. There are two nice pools here and a mail area that is secured by a gate and a security camera monitoring the boxes. Another good thing about living here is that once a month a restaurant will come out to these apartments and have a deal on their food and you will see the restaurant with a stand set up by the office. If you want to live in a nice apartment with good tenants and be away from the Strip then I would definitely suggest coming here.

I have resided here for almost three years, this is a great community, the Maintenance team has gone through some changes but definitely for the best because their work is constantly detailed now. My favorite part of living here is the 24 hour amenities, i work crazy hours so having a hot tub and a gym i can hit up ant 1 or 2 in the morning makes my life so much easier. Thanks San Croix!

I moved into San Croix in 2015 and am very happy with my experience so far. While the staff has turned over several times since my move in - the professionalism and friendliness has not changed! Ken is the newest maintenance supervisor and has done an excellent job so far. My work orders are always taken care of in less than 24 hours and when my heater went out overnight the on call guy was at my door in less than an hour! You cant beat service like that.

Went to tour this property and all I can say is wow. The grounds are so lush and green compared to the rest of Las Vegas that it almost feels like Ive clicked the heels on my ruby red slippers and went somewhere else. The staff from the office to the maintenance teams were all super pleasant and everyone said hello in passing. Great music in the clubhouse too, made it just that much more enjoyable. Definitely on the top of my list for when I move!

San Croix is one of many Ovation properties that I checked out before making a decision to move into Tesora. I was very impressed with the Property Manager Desiree for taking time to show me around while she was on her lunch. She pushed her food out of the way and greeted me with a smile. She was very professional from beginning to end and even gave me pricing for their other properties. She didnt have anything downstairs for my move in date; otherwise I would have rented on the spot! Keep up the good work Miss Page!!

Im looking to move to Vegas for work reasons, I travel a lot and being in a major city with an airport that runs anywhere at any time is convenient. Now with that said i do not want to live smack dab in the middle of the town and deal with the tourist that come and go non-stop, and San Croix offers me the convenience of being able to hop the highway to the airport but also live in a very quiet community. I have been thoroughly impressed by all the Ovation properties i have visited and a few of them make the top of my list. Will be keeping an eye on these for my time frame.

I’m a in-home care provider for a family that is leasing from the property and I must say that the management here is poor In decision making. Although I am not a tenant but the family that hired me lives here. In my experience of just working here on the property I’ve witnessed with my own experience that my car was towed for parking in a handicap parking stall. I understand that my documentation was not put on the dash as I was dealing with my patient from the time I got my patient to go into the house to come out to move my car I noticed that it was towed. With the pandemic going on I felt like I should’ve got a sticker needless to say I paid $265 and I got my car out of the tow yard. later on that week I got my rear view mirror tags for my vehicle. Although I provided documentation I never got issued a refund for the $265. A big slap in the face was when I realize that the maintenance man parked in the handicap parking and he does not have legal documentation supporting that he is handicap but his car does not get towed. I brought the attention to management and they have nothing to say I’ve been calling every week to find out what the verdict was and since then the man with the orange truck continues to park there and I just can’t understand the difference between me and him what makes him so special that he gets to park in the essential handicap parking when he’s not providing his documentation.

Kind of surprised to see negative reviews on this place regarding break ins and roaches, since I never experienced either of those issues. I lived at San Croix in a two bedroom from March 2015 - October 2016. I loved my unit, the grounds were very well maintained, and I always felt safe. Furthermore, I always found the office staff (specifically Deedee and Casey) to be very professional and helpful. I had to break my lease early due to job relocation, and they helped me through the process and made it really easy and cost efficient for me. Maintenance requests were always addressed in a timely manner. If I were to move back to Las Vegas, I would certainly live at San Croix again.

First thing i want to point out is how simple the application process is for this community. Knowing that i was approved with and my total amount due for move in with in 24 hours of applying was a huge stress relief and makes planning my move just that much simpler. The young lady Shanice in the office is super knowledgeable and very sweet, it was such a pleasure working with her. What really made me choose this property is the convenience of it, I can catch the 215 south or north not even five minute down the road, and there are great restaurants right down Spring Mountain. Im extremely excited to move in and join the community!

The entire San Croix Ovation team was awesome, especially Darren, Shayla, and Ariel. They walked me through the entire process and answered all of my questions with great professionalism, and really made me feel comfortable with my decision to live there. The property is immaculate - pools and fitness center were clean and well-maintained. While they did not have the unit I was interested in available for viewing, they did make sure to show me a similar unit. San Croix Ovation is the absolute best!

If there was a negative star rating it would be to the lowest denominator...granted I was only looking for an apartment with my friends as the designated driver but the customer service and friendliness of this rental manager was absurd and unthinkable...a young nice professionally dressed African American gentleman with the attitude and customer service skills of Donald Trump (no offense to Trump voters) overall there will be a phone call to the company who owns the property and we will be having a serious conversation about employees who showcase lack of enthusiasm and care for future residents. Overall the first impression of this location left no other alternative but to write a review and make phone calls

Do not recommend. Staff changes frequently, assistant manager and manager will tell you completely different stories. Had to go redo my paperwork multiple times due to their errors throughout the course of my lease.Parking was fine, maintenance was timely. Main problem was with office staff who cant seem to communicate with each other, or differentiate their heads from their asses; but do seem to be proactive about soliciting your email back-to-back-to back.

Worst apartments Ive ever lived in. They enter without permission and then left my front door open. We had a Slab leak and it took them a month of cutting concrete in our dinning room and leaving holes in our walls before they fixed it, and did not offer to relocate us. We have small children and pets, it was not safe. Our dryer never worked, they said nothing was wrong with it and refused to fix it. Our fridge broke and spoiled hundreds of dollars worth of food. It took them 3 weeks to fix that. All this without offering anything for our trouble. They sent us a notice that our lease was up and needed to give 30 days notice. We went to the office and they said it was 60 days notice. 500$ pet deposit we dont get back. This is a crooked apartment complex. Do not move here!

I don’t even know where to begin with this place.1.not safe!! (my place was broke in the first week I was there and I witnessed like 4 other brake ins during my time there- could be one of the maintenance staff)2. Endless maintenance issues!!!My ac had so many problems until they decided to put in a new one, I had to spend endless nights in roasting heat where I couldn’t sleep. When I complained they made me feel like it’s my fault. They offer nothing in exchange-it was literally a nightmare! Fridge broke down, shower was bad, electricity problems.3.the worst and rudest staff in Las Vegas- my crackhead landlord at Siegel suites was way better than any of their staff. They were always so rude and incompetent- they ignored my maintenance complaints all the time they always forgot things and again: rude rude rude!I sometimes had to really shout and talk back to get my problems fixed.4. Very expensive! For their prices you can find much better.Verdict: I wouldn’t move there even if they’d offer me to do it for free!

NO NO NO. Roaches, break ins, rude and unintelligent staff. This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived. Our year lease couldn’t be up fast enough!! Roaches crawled out of the vents, under the carpets, the apartment wasn’t cleaned prior to move in. Packages were missing from the OFFICE constantly. They attempted to raise our rent within 3 months of our lease- NO. Then when we moved out, they lost the 60 day notice twice which made us have to pay a prorated rent even after the lease ended. STAY AWAY.

Moved into San Croix apartments in 2014, with beautiful imenities, working spa,and well kept pool. Started to notice a decline in the property and the tenants who moved in. Needed to move, seriously! Now its 2018 and the clubhouse is upgrading, while rats are climbing around, spa hasnt worked for 2yrs.pool is constantly shut down.etc. I took pride in my home. Now Im being stiffed on my security deposit, manager tells me they need to dye my carpet, why? They should replace the carpet, for next tenant. Or maybe my deposit is used for there upgrades in clubhouse. I wouldnt live in this poorly unmanaged ground, certainly not a place to call home. Shame

Review №42

I lived there for 2.5 years. Trying to keep this review short. Please take this review into consideration if youre thinking of moving to San Croix.CONS:- Rats crawl around various parts of the property.- Roaches present even inside the cleanest apartments.- The list of things that needed to be replaced or fixed in 2.5 years: Dryer (twice), Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal, Washer, Leaks in Kitchen & Laundry Room, All Drains, Patio Screen, Fireplace, Shower Temp Control Valve and more.- Units get broken into & cars get broken into.- Mailboxes get broken into (on multiple occasions) and your mail will be stolen. Then, as San Croix spends money to gut and fully renovate their management office (that already looked amazing to begin with), they do not do anything to further secure the mailboxes. Not even a gate or fence. Broken-into mailboxes hung OPEN WITH PEOPLES MAIL INSIDE as they sit there in a freshly renovated office saying its not their fault.- Maintenance and Management clash (they oftentimes will call the units old and will do almost anything instead of actually replace something... the cheapest fix is the best fix for them)- The gate is a joke. It hangs open 24 hours a day for a week at a time before it gets back to actually being an open and closed gate again. It also isnt a code entrance for visitors. You have to drive up, find the tenants last name on a list of everyone at San Croix, select their name, then the tenant receives a phone call, they have to push a certain number on their phone and THEN the gate finally opens. Pretty ridiculous.- Units are very outdated for the price you pay.- The staff turns over so much that there is no consistency in the office.- They will find a way to take your security deposit. I am far from the only one to experience this. They lied to me and told me that they gave me my initial gate clicker for free. Spent weeks fighting the principal of it and eventually gave up. San Croix gives nothing for free. Be warned of this.- Noise complaints occur and management is passive on it. Like I experienced you could get your door pounded on and threatened by your neighbor. Then when you go to report this to management, they will still be passive.- Just like everything featured inside of them, the buildings themselves are cheap and the walls are paper thin.PRO:Anyplace you move to after San Croix is an upgrade.

Ive never lived in any other apartments myself, but have stayed at or visited many others and San Croix trumps them all.Floors and walls arent paper thin, in fact, I ONLY hear sounds from neighboring units when the unit with an adjacent shower turns the water on. Parking is as anywhere else, you have your one assigned spot, and good luck if you have a second car or visitors. The pool area is currently being remodeled, but even before, the main pool was nicer than I have seen elsewhere.I only have a few complaints. The appliances are subpar at best, electric range goes out more frequently than one should expect, as well as the garbage disposal; in any case, maintenance tickets are filled quicker than any other business you get support from. My other complaint is that neighbors (as anywhere else) have zero regard for outside sound; every week or so there will be someone outside chatting on the phone or a few people on someones patio, and youd think they were ordering drinks at a night club with loud they can be.Ive never had any issues with my car getting messed with, anyone trying break in, or any sort of harassment, less than I can say for any complex Ive visited for a few days.Everything said and done, Ive been here for 17 months now, and still rave about it to friends and family. I chose San Croix over many other options mainly for its location, close to Summerlin area without having the premiums, and a single bus line (with stops immediately outside of the entrance) that can get me to the Strip in 20 minutes.
