Slow internet, slow maintenance service, slow replenishment of water, carpets should be cleaned more often
There have been three different managers since we moved in a little over a year ago. Our unit is in a good location with a nice view, but is still over-priced compared to other properties we have looked at in the area. Maintenance is very slow to respond and I have had to complain to get things handled, when they should be handled when originally scheduled, which does not happen. We will not be renewing our lease when it ends in June.
Management charges us $95 a month for internet services. It is a required monthly charge. However, the connection is very poor and weve always had consistent issues with the wifi. I am aware of several tenants having similar issues. It happens very frequently where internet is very slow or sometimes you cant connect. Weve mentioned it to management several times but nothing changed. The message we got last time is that the owner doesnt want to upgrade. So they are technically expecting us to pay the $95 monthly internet fee then want us to go find our own internet service. I am leaving after my lease ends. PLEASE be careful for newcomers.
Nightmare of a building. I signed a lease which stressed it was a residential building and not to be used for Airbnb. Probably 10 apartments every single weekend are filled with total strangers renting it like it’s a hotel. They blast music, they leave trash, and they leave lock the gates propped open with chairs. I’ve informed management every single weekend for the past several months and they don’t care to do anything. This is not a residential building. It’s very unsafe and there are strangers causing disruption and leaving trash every single weekend. Absolute nightmare of a living situation. Avoid this place. It’s a cheap hotelThis building had about a dozen units renting to 5-10 Airbnb renters each every day. Yes, that means 25-50 strangers blasting music and smoking weed by the pool EVERY DAY. I reported it nicely for two months -- the on-site manager said the owners dont care as long as they get their rent every month. She let Airbnb renters walk in right in front of her with no reaction. I complained to the main office for a few weeks after that. Now, after paying my rent on time EVERY MONTH and never violating the lease, Onyx rescinded their new lease offer (without ever providing it) and asked me to move via a cease and desist order. Never, ever even think of moving into this nightmare of a building. Your choices are to deal with 25-50 Airbnb renters every day or be forced to move.
I’ve lived at other Pinnacle Properties, but this by far is my favorite location. The apartments look great and it’s a reasonable price for all that it offers. The manager Kimberly is super helpful, and my work orders are addressed timely. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to move
I loved living here from 2015-2016, it is convenient to everything on the strip, but far enough away from the party scene to relax. Nice pool and hot tub, that they kept very clean. Not too many condos that you get lost in the shuffle. I’ve heard it was bought out and they didn’t Re-hire Tami Sargent, not a smart move on their part, she was great. Hopefully it has not gone downhill since I left, this was a great place to live.
The Onyx apartments has been a great place to relax after a long day. Its a perfect area for my family to travel to and from work and enjoy the strip. We love being close enough to walk to various venues and come home to peace and quiet. The neighbors say Hi in passing and everyone is friendly. Its a smaller community so your not on top of each other which makes it feel private. We feel safe with the security features and the gated parking garage. Its a bit pricey but they are making upgrades to the units to include the Internet and digits thermostats.
I have lived at Onyx for 11 years. I love the location. Though my rent has increased over the years, the new renovations make it worth it. The manager Kimberly, and maintenance Travis have taken operations to a new level . They are attentive, professional and caring. If my rent doenst increase too much, I may stay another 11 years. Keep up the good work Pinnacle!
Excellent location and gated! Kimberly and the office staff have been amazing. I would recommend these apartments to anybody!
Not big in giving reviews but I must say this is a must, I just moved into Onxy Apts I love it here. The staff rock very welcoming from the first time I stepped foot in the front door. Had an amazing experience. The move was perfect. Close to everything so thats a plus
Lived ONYX for like 9 YEAR....there were terrible construction too many MICKEY MOUSE in that building MED-RISE CONDO..BUT excellent location to commute work on the STRIP...Multi different terrible managers for many years in the PAST...but the new oneKIMBERLY WASHINGTON definetly the BEST one.hopefully keep KIM here for good...New renovation EXERCISING room with BRAND EQUIPMENTS will always make you feel like a home .. i couldnt ask for anymore due to excellent location ..COST OF LIVNG IS SOMETHING TO EXCEPTION...
Ive lived here for over 5 years and am happy with the Onyx. Its very low key and I rarely see any of my neighbors (which I like). Everything is very clean and I would totally recommend this place to others.
If I could put 0 stars, I would. I moved in over a year ago, the dishwasher still leaks, the entire building stinks of sulfur, the shower still leaks, the plumbing does not work properly, and on top of all of that, the building has been under construction for the last two and a half months.... constant chainsaws, and loud noises.
Ive lived here for 2 years. Its a great place to live and very secure. Tami at the front desk is great and always tries to have community events so residents can get to know each other. Its walking distance to the strip and the parking is gated. Maintenance tries to keep up with work orders as soon as they come in.I really enjoy living here and like the effort that the management puts in.To address the comments below. Yes, if you live on the third floor you might get somebody thats loud above you but thats normal in any apartment.I have never heard anybodys music or talking through the walls. If you stand outside somebodys front door you can hear inside that persons apartment. But I have never heard anyone talk through the walls. The leaf blower guy comes once a week and yes its early (7am) but they walk down the row and after theyre done with your place the noise dissipates. Id rather have the noise then a dirty environment but thats just me.
Most LOUD apartment building in Vegas. You can literally hear your neighbors talking through the floors. You hear your neighbors walking above you constantly sounds like theyre stomping, any music someones playing you hear & feel bass, also an extremely loud leaf blower twice a week at 7am for 4+hours right outside your window. If your looking for a peaceful place to lay your head at night dont move here unless you enjoy living below a bowling alley, marching band, strip club & a rhinosaurus
I have been very happy living at onyx apartments for about 8 months, this is a convenient location close to the strip but quiet and clean. Every time that I need something form the staff, Blanca and Ciro are very kind to help me.
As a sub-contractor- the lady at the counter who claims to be the manager needs a mild attitude adjustment, the reason Im not giving a 2 is because she was sorta easy on the eyes.As far as the place goes, walking back and forth through the hallways smelt like a marijuana dispensary,,I think I got high just walking through, disgusting...
