We have been here for around 2 years now and it has been amazing. The ladies in the office and maintenance staff are fantastic. All the staff have been extremely friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment and I have!
I moved in at the end of April. This has been my favorite apartment complex I lived at in Las Vegas. The apartments aren’t as updated as the neighboring complexes, but it is reasonably priced. Water, sewer and trash is included in rent and there is assigned covered parking. All the neighbors are friendly and keep to themselves. The maintenance staff is AMAZING! They are always out and about making sure the property is looking neat. I even see them out pickup up garbage around the dumpsters. You can easily put a work order in online and the maintenance staff has always came the following day and fixed the issue. Positano Apartments is a wonderful place to live.
The stafff is great as far as getting repairs done my issues is with apt 2028 upstairs neighbors this has been an ongoing issue since I first moved in two years ago banging all hours of the night thin walls squeaky floors multiple complaints nothing done unfortunately I will be ending my lease because of this, nobody should have to experience this stress they have caused my family.
The staff in the office has been very polite and helpful since I moved in about 6 months ago. I recently had an emergency issue and maintenance came within 20 minutes of my call. I was very impressed and there was no delay on resolving the issue. Thank you!
Who ever designed this place wasnt thinking right. The buildings in my area dont have side walks,There isnt enough parking around the mail box,There is no outgoing mail box in the mail area, so you have to go in the leasing office and put your mail in some pathetic little basket. The security lights shine straight in my window at night. There are no ceiling fans. There are no pedestrian gates other than one at the front gate that I was never given a key for.The day I move in, the back gate stops workingbut it was fine the day before when I came to look around.and a note to any future residents, do not lease unit 2003 or any of building 2 for good measures
I toured Positano when looking for apartments in Las Vegas. I ended up with another Ovation property but wanted to write an awesome review for great customer service. The staff took the time to show me around the community and the floor plans are great. They have a 24 hour pool and gym and the grounds are taken care of. If my job wasnt relocated to the other side of town, I would have definitely chosen Positano as my home.
I loved living at Positano, the location is so convenient. I never had an issue with maintenance, they always came when I needed them and the people in the office always helped me. The community is really pretty and I always enjoyed using the pool. I would recommend Positano to anyone!
Living here was not a bad experience overall. This would be a 4 or even 5 star review if they would have just fixed our A/C. They refused to fix it because it was still pumping vaguely cool air, even though it was running 24/7 and costing us $400/month for electricity and still not getting down to a comfortable temperature.Staff is (generally) pretty nice, especially maintenance, and its tucked back in a quiet area. They do fun community events from time to time and the pool is nice (although theres only one). Its probably the nicest complex in the area thats more than 5 years old, meaning its also the nicest one in its price range. The only real cons besides the deal with our A/C are that the units are starting to show their age a bit and lack storage space. They could do a better job keeping the pool clean as well. But we loved the built-in desk and bay windows that some units have.
I moved in a month ago and I love it here. The assistant Allison helped me find the perfect home. I was able to rent my home from out of state and the process was so smooth.
I was going to rent here in June 2020. The process started out okay however I did have an encounter with Patti from Positano Apts. We had a discussion about my report coming back. She thought it was okay to report it back to me in a judging and rude manner. As if Im the only and last person who will have the kind of report. No indeed and I cleared her about the tone she used. She later on apologized and we moved on. Fast forward to moving week. A loved one passed away which changed circumstances drastically. I called Positano the same day I was informed of the death. I spoke to Allison. I told her I needed a little time to now weigh out the new changes that has happened in my life. She said okay but then called the next day for me to make a decision. Now mind you a death has occurred. Allison called me the next day. On a Sunday to see if I had made a decision. Again, I worked with Patti who is off on weekends. So to receive a call on Sunday, the next day after the death of my loved one. Was infuriating to me! I understand business is business however. I still had a few days before move in, and Patti was off on Sunday. I was off from work on Sunday. So after the death I thought I had a little breathing room to work things out. Allison was inhumane to call the next day to say hey what are you going to do? Fast forward from that. I kept in touch with Patti. I let her know I couldnt move in. Didnt hear a word from Patti after that. Not even to say hey Im sorry for your loss. Your going to lose your $350 security deposit but if you anything please contact me. Again it was only about the apartment to them. So I rate them 1 star because there is no human value here. Your just a number. How unkind and insensitive are you to respond and not respond to people in that way. Not only in a time of crisis (pandemic) but also a time where so many people are passing away. How dare they! People are people and not money signs. Wake up!
I decided to write a review because my husband and I had a great experience living here! We moved out about a year ago and till this day we drive by Positiano and it brings great memories back. The ladies at the leasing office were always very attentive and nice. Our work orders were completed within that day if not the next day. Maintenance was also really sweet! The grounds were always clean and the pools were beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed living here. Unlike all the other reviews when we moved out, we turned the apartment in exactly how they gave it us CLEAN. We werent charged anything at move out, not even a dime. So if you do leave the apartment dirty of course they are going to charge you for the damages, common sense. Positiano was a safe beautiful apartment community and if we ever had to leave our house we would definitely move back in. Thank you for a great experience!
Great staff and property. Breane from the leasing office seemed very young but very knowledgable about the property and offered great suggestions. Maintenance guys were seen out on property so it looks like this would be a great place to live. Probably will be signing a lease the end of June when my current one ends at another property. Great location and lots of parking.
I have lived here for almost 3 months and I love it! The staff, maintenance, neighbors are great! My kids have made some good friends already. I love the pool area! Everything is always clean! Moving to Vegas everyone always said “no matter what you’ll have bugs!” I have not seen one [bug] in my apartment. Either no one lives up stairs or I flat out don’t hear them. I’m a single mom and I feel my kids and I are safe here. My family and friends who have came over all compliment. I hands down love it here! (I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath Vitri model)
My review of this complex would have been higher if our move-out had been more pleasant. Overall, the complex is reasonably maintained and pest-free. Many of the people working in the office are friendly and helpful, and I had wonderful experiences with every maintenance worker I encountered. When I asked about filling in nail holes to prepare for our move out, one of the maintenance workers even left a container of caulk on my doorstep to use! There are several friendly neighborhood cats roaming around the complex, which I found endlessly entertaining. The appliances all work well for their age, and the units are in great shape (again, considering their age). The gym is kept pretty clean and is rarely busy. Our rent went up as is customary with each new lease we signed, but it barely went up. Like, $5-$40 each time.As a young person just starting out, this is a perfect complex to begin with. The prices are reasonable and its nice enough that mom and dad wont complain, but not too nice that you need to worry about perfection all the time. However, I would not recommend these apartments for anyone a little more experienced or looking for a place to settle down for an extended period of time. The pool was constantly dirty. There was often a film on top and it was filled with leaves and debris. While I understand this are was quite busy during the summer, making it difficult to keep clean, I now live in a complex with just as busy of a pool, and trees surrounding it, and it is always spotless. While the apartments themselves were generally bug-free, there were quite a few roaches and anthills around the pool. The lovely fireplace in that area was broken when we moved in, and they claimed there was no way for them to fix it. The grills were functional yet disgusting - it would be nice if everyone cleaned up after themselves, but that is not realistic in such a large complex, and the office should have at least cleaned it up once in a while. As my husband stated in his review, they refused to fix our AC because it was technically still running, although it wouldnt go below 80 degrees in the summer - and forget about turning the stove on during that time! The office made it sound like we were being unreasonable to want our temperature set at 74°. Our electricity bill jumped to $400 and thanks to NV Energys breakdown, we know over 90% of those bills were due to the AC. Ultimately, this was our reason for moving out.As I said at the beginning of my review and as I have seen in the reviews of several other tenants, moving out was the most painful part of living here. We turned in our notice several months in advance because we had already known we were leaving (see AC issues). About a month before we left, our new apartment sent them some paperwork to be filled out. We were notified that Positano had not filled out the paperwork and were not returning any calls or emails from our new complex. My husband went down to the office to ask them to return the paperwork, and they claimed that they had no idea we were moving, and we were going to be charged for not notifying them. After going back and forth and arguing that we had already notified them, they found the paper staying our move-out date filed in the wrong place. We were then charged for numerous bogus cleaning costs and were not given our deposit back. However, the minute we stood up for ourselves and argued back, we magically received a check in the mail (with no explanation, apology, or reason). If you are moving out soon, my biggest recommendation is to stick to your guns and take pictures of everything before you go.Without the move-out issues, this would have been a 3- star review. Its nice enough, especially considering age and cost, and the neighbors are friendly and polite. Many of our interactions with the office were kind, and maintenance was amazing and incredibly helpful.
Moved in yesterday and the place looked great. Only had a few minor problems like a few blinds were hard to open and the screen doors were hard to open and close. However, they fixed everything I reported the same day and have a super friendly and efficient staff. I am pleased with everyone from the staff overall, from the front office to the work order representatives. I would absolutely recommend living here if you are looking for a nice apartment in a good area for a good price with friendly staff. 5 stars for sure.
Just to address previous reviews... Ive lived here for nearly a year and I have never seen a cockroach or any other insect in my apartment. The landscaping crew is here weekly and they spray around the buildings. For the price, these apartments are awesome. Very spacious and mostly quiet (or maybe I just have quiet neighbors). One con is the bathroom light is connected to the fan, so there is no point in trying to be quiet when you wake up during the night. The fan and light are a package deal, and the fan is obnoxiously loud.Yes the smoking is frustrating, I cannot open my deck door in the evenings because the people across from us chain smoke outside all night and it wafts into our house. But, keeping the doors and windows closed prevents it from entering our apartment. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled promptly.Overall I would recommend these apartments!
I loved my experience living at Positano. I recently moved out in June and have nothing but high praise for the office staff and how quick the maintenance crew took care of any small issues I had during my 14 month stay. 10/10, would live there again.
Breanne is the best worker over there so smart and always wonderful to talk to and is on time with everything she does would recommend for everyone to check them out, also has great coworkers over there.
Patti the manager is amazing! Would highly recommend living here.
I absolutely LOVED living here! The complex is beautiful and the staff, from leasing office to maintenance are so friendly, and they make you feel like youre truly home. The location is also amazing, youre near anything you could ever think of.
I spent a while debating whether not writing a review on this place was worth my time. I have come to the conclusion that if I can help at least one person avoid what I had to go through, it would be worth it. Upon signing the lease, I was told that I had to put down a deposit, holding fee, and a redecoration fee. I was told these were refundable. I was also required to put down $70 for 2 gate openers. (I say required, because the complex does not have a code box so you have to have the gate openers to get through the gate.) You have an assigned parking space, with little to no open parking, which is unfortunate when you have a two bedroom apartment and both people drive a car. My parking space was located around the corner from the apartment, which made it difficult to carry groceries and other heavy objects home. I lived upstairs. Which seemed fine at first, until we realize that we had no closet space, no fans, little lighting, and no pantry. We also had a very small patio, and our water heater was located downstairs on our neighbors patio. Which didnt mean much at first, until we would go weeks at a time with cold water because our neighbor would mess with our water heater. To which we would have to contact maintenance and wait for them to contact our neighbors to change our water heater back. The rent was pricey for what we were getting, but we always paid our rent on time. We never complained, and we were never a problem to anyone. We kept the apartment clean, and I regularly shampooed the carpet. I had a 15 month lease. Upon the end of my lease, I received a letter from the office stating that they were going to be raising my rent. Quite excessively, in fact. I decided it was time to start looking for a more affordable place with more everyday amenities. I turned in my 60 day notice, and I was told to come back tomorrow. Which, they later tried to charge me an extra month of rent because I turned in my notice a day late... even though they told me to leave and come back the next day. What made matters worse, is that I was looking at condos during the 60 days. When I found a place that I liked, they sent over the information request paperwork to Positano. After a few days, we found out the paperwork was never sent back. When I called the office to ask why, I was told they lost the paperwork and never told me. (I later demanded a copy of everything in my file, and found the paperwork that they had lost.) I almost lost the condo because of how unprofessional Positano was. Upon moving out, I clean the apartment, had moved all of my items out days before the lease was up, and even turned in my keys and both gate openers early. I was told I would get the deposit in the mail. After about a week, I had still not heard anything. Turns out, not only did they keep my deposits, but they were trying to charge me and an audacious amount in damages that were not done to the apartment. I fought them for months on this, demanded invoices and everything. After months, everything was worked out. It turns out, that what I was told were deposits, were actually fees. So I would not get anything back. Which made me wonder, where did all that money go? Because of this experience, I will never look at an Ovation property again. And my only advice, is that if you are going through this right now, stay persistent.
It’s a very beautiful place, it’s a very comfortable neighborhood an they are also very helpful!!🤙🏾
Ive been living here going on 2 years, the only con i would say is the bathroom light that is connected to the fan (thumbs down). I have no complaints, i love the area of which the xomplex is located, close to shopping, and 5 min walk to hospital. I can take my child to the park which is a nice walking distance. I havent seen bugs. They are on top of maintenance.
10/10 would recommend you live here. SO friendly and kind, and the maintenance team is efficient and considerate. Its a beautiful place to live, with friendly neighbors and staff, nice appliances, and a super safe area.
The staff was very helpful the apartment grounds clean, a nice place to live
All the workers are nice and polite, very helpful when asking for directions!
I really like living here. Its peaceful and quiet. The gym is nice. The office staff, Mariela, Marie, and Patty and maintenance people are friendly and professional. Its located in a great place!
The people in the front office were friendly but I noticed when I walk around the property people with dog dont pick up there dog pop thank goddness for the guy who pick up the grounds who keeps the grounds clean and parking is hard for visiter to found a parking but other than that the stuff is nice and. Is a nice place to live
STAY AWAYY!! What a horrible place to live! First of all the old women who run the place don’t tell you that parking is awful at Positano. Second there’s RATS EVERYWHERE!! AND ROACHES!! And once you decide you no longer want to live there, the old women purposely over charge and hit you with fees to be spiteful. All in all the worst living experience of my life.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful when I came to check out the apartments. Looking forward to moving in soon!!
+POS+: Affordable, & close to major streets, maintenance staff lives on site, decent complex office amenities. -NEG-: Although gated, it doesnt keep crime out. Its Vegas, protect accordingly.
A home away from home! This was a good place near St.Rose. We really enjoyed the pool, clubhouse, and some of our neighbors. With BBQs and a great location to just about everything we loved about Las Vegas, Nv.
The property is nice however the staff in the office is so rude and unwelcoming. Maryella is the the worst you can tell she is a very unhappy person and brings her bitterness to work then takes it out on whoever walks into the office. She should not be working with people. They take forever to fix anything. I had a gas leak and no one came I had to call fire department before anyone came to check. Turns out wrong parts were used on my dryer. I would not recommend this property. I only gave 1star so I could leave a review.
I love this place..its been 1 year i am living here..before moving into this place i looked out almost all the apartments nearby this area..but this one is the best..i have two bedroom apartment..and its really spacious..its over 1000 sqft..and i love how it is designed...staff is friendly...so far no complaints :)
I cant reccomend this property highly enough. We have a two bedroom, 2 bathroom on the second floor. I feel like so much of living in a complex like this depends on the office and maintenance crew. They are SO on top of everything. The office gets back to you right away regarding even the smallest things. They are super accommodating and professional. Their maintenance crew is always within the time frame quoted and I actually 100% trust them in my apartment alone, which I never have at another property. The grounds are really well maintained and the people who live here are generally polite. The pool is almost always quite and its well cared for. The gym is just enough and there are so many big gyms super close. Parking can be a little annoying depending on where your apartment is located on property. You only get one assigned spot and free parking can be kind of far but its nothing crazy and there is a ton of free space. Its really been a awesome year here. Im extending my lease in the next couple days for 15 more months. I couldnt imagine living anywhere else until I buy a house. Ask for Mariela!!! She is AMAZING. Patti the property manager is also just SO wonderful and responsive when Mariela is off.
Dumps.
Moved here over 8 months ago. Really like it and would recommend living here.Pros:Property landscaped with alot of greenery/flowers and trees. Nice pool and gymKitchen and living room have huge windows (our unit has great view of mountains and lots of tress around patio and entry way) Great view of the ridgeline and amazing sunsets in the back of the complex.Quiet - do not hear neighbors and residents are really friendly.Staff - Manager Nicole is really nice and provided different deposit options. Maintenance guys are really friendly and requests get resolved quickly. (Our dryer broke and they came at specific time requested and fixed it quickly.Complex location - Walking distance to parks, St. Rose trail, shopping, starbucks, medical complex. 2 sides of the complex are undeveloped land and feels really open. Short drive to Sloan Canyon and great view of Seven Hills.Price - For the layout and the square footage, the price is amazing!Bugs - No problem with bugs, had a few crickets sneak in when we leave the patio open and 2 roaches when we first moved in, but they sprayed they next day and no bugs since then.Cons:Bathroom cabinets are outdated, gold door knobs in apt - minor cosmetic complaint.Bathroom fan - I wish so much that the bathroom fan was on its own switch like all other apts I have lived in, its annoying to be taking a bath and have to listen to that exhaust fan.Carpets at move-in had been cleaned but had some visible light stains and the texture looks like they should have been replaced in the living room. The white paint they use is so hard to clean and gets scuffed easily, recommend to paint in high-traffic areas. We looked at so many properties and this one was the best for location, appearance/landscaping, price. Really happy here and will be renewing our lease.
I know people. Here
Smoke seeps from vents due to neighbors smoking. My car got backed up into. Parking is tight. I dont recommend moving here
Very nice
