My wife and I frequently express how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place. The many outdoor amenities make the close proximity to Lake Erie accessible and enjoyable. The entire staff is friendly, polite, and very attentive to our continued well-being. On those rare occasions when a problem does occur it is dealt with immediately, professionally, and with a minimum of intrusion. Highly recommended.

I just renewed my lease after a fine first year here. Not only is the leasing staff professional and supportive, I have found the whole maintenance crew responsive and respectful. But theres more! As a whole, it is clear that staff and crew are a solid team, with the staff pitching in on cleaning duty once in awhile or planting flowers out front and the whole team is not afraid to laugh and enjoy where they are (they also decorate for the holidays!) Thats not to say there might not be problems to solve, but if there are, the issues are addressed clearly and with understanding. Oh and even though the building was constructed a few decades ago, the whole heating infrastructure is being meticulously updated, suite by suite. Makes me feel great about going forward into the rest of this century! Then theres the solace of the lake. The rooftop deck is available to all with fabulous views of the city. And of course, even not being on a top floor or in a corner apartment, the lake is just a glance away through my (well-insulated) windows. I am home.

I have been living at Marine Towers West for over two years now and love it! The location cant be beat right on the edge of Lake Erie. Coming from someone who used to live further south, being on the Lake makes me feel like Im on vacation every day and my family/friends out of town love to check out the view! :)The leasing staff (Claire and Debbi) has always been extremely helpful, flexible to every need, and responsive to all inquiries. They send out updates all the time informing residents of any changes happening within/outside the building i.e. turning the water off for the day, updating the heating system, cleaning the garages, etc. There are no surprises and allow extra time to make arrangements if need be. The maintenance team is also great - requests are always taken care of within a couple days! I am so glad to have such a great group of people down in the leasing office. It makes a big difference!The complex is quiet, always clean, and the grounds are taken care of constantly. They decorate for the holidays too, which makes it fun! Other residents are friendly too!I plan to continue my stay at MTW and would recommend this place to anyone!

I had a leak in my apartment and I saw the maintenance people in the garage. I told them what was going on. They jumped right on it and within less than an hour it was fixed. I looked all over Cleveland and this truly is one of the best places in the area to live. The define service !!! Hghly recommend them for your next home.

I have lived here for a month now, and I am very pleased with how things are. I have almost always had a house, so I was a little leary about living in a big building, with so many tenants. I have been working from home for 9 years, so surroundings and noise levels are extremely important to me. The building is very quiet and clean, and the women running the building are always available, extremely helpful and very nice. I am on a higher floor, and I love it here! Definitely looking forward to warm the weather, so I can enjoy the rooftop more often. Highly recommend living here!

I’ve been living here for over a year and I love it! It’s a really nice location on the lake. Very quiet, safe, residential, and with great access to nature and parks (1 mile to Lakewood park and Edgewater park respectively). The building is quiet, service is good, and staff are very responsive. The rooftop is a plus. It has a great view of the lake and is a perfect place for reading, yoga, and watching sunset.

If your looking in this area, you have to see this place. Not only is it really nice The people here are too. So friendly.

I’m fairly new to this building and so far I love it. My only complaint at this point is management of the pool, as rules don’t seem to be enforced. We are not supposed to bring guests in but I’ve seen multiple occasions where residents have done so. Not a big deal since It’s likely hard for management to oversee it but it does make me nervous when there are outside people coming in and coronavirus numbers are spiking. The staff here is friendly and helpful and the location of the building is tough to beat.

I just love living here, and I’ll be so sad to leave when I move out of town. What’s better than waking up and looking at the lake every day? The building itself is well-maintained, Claire and Debbie and everyone else in the office are lovely, maintenance requests are handled promptly, and the neighborhood is great. My apartment is bright, has TONS of closet space, and they had just the size I needed...lots of space. I’m not sure if I have amazing neighbors or if the walls are thick, but it’s also so quiet. Really, I couldn’t be happier. As with all the apartments of this kind you start with a base rent and then fees get added on from there, but I did my research before moving in, and you get more bang for your buck here, for sure.

Ive lived in Marine Towers West for about 6 months now and Im extremely happy with the move! My apartment is very cute and overlooks the lake and I get to enjoy several amenities including the pool and work out room. Debbi and Claire in the leasing office are always very accommodating AND the leasing office is open on the weekends, which has proven to be very convenient. I couldnt finish a review without mentioning the FREE parking lot to residents - best part about moving out of downtown. Overall, Im both comfortable and happy living here.

I had nothing but good responses throughout my year stay. The girls (Claire and Debbi) always had a positive outlook when facing the many issues they had during a regular day. Always wanted to help people. Kept me informed with any and everything happening in the building. I loved staying there. My best experience in my lifetime.Glenn

Ive only been here a few months...but I love it! My apt is beautiful, the whole building is spotless, and the ladies in the office are fantastic. I have had one repair issue and it was taken care of quickly. I chose well.

I am completely satisfied with my apartment rental at Marine Towers West. The administrative staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful.  If I ever have a concern they solve it immediately.  The amenities are always clean and functioning properly.  Its optimal location accompanied by a gorgeous view of the lake makes it an enjoyable place to live.

I am very happy to call Marine Towers West my home for 4 years now. The Management team here is Awesome!! Whenever there is a situation that needs fixing it is handled within a day or two. My neighbors are very respectful too. I picked Marine Towers because the view of the Lake is spectacular from my apartment. Plus, my apartment has plenty of room and closets for storage. I plan on living here for many more years. I just love being so close to everything!!

I moved here in July 2019. This apartment complex and leasing managers have exceeded my expectations. Debbi and Claire in the leasing office have always gone the extra step to help me out when needed. They have great personalities and very easy to work with.I have a four-year-old daughter and they have been very helpful when I needed a good parking location in the garage. When it comes to their maintenance crew Joe and Tony have been very helpful with any issues I have had with my appliances, toilets etc. Overall this is a 5 star in my opinion and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. We have amazing views of the lake and the sunrise over downtown Cleveland too! And there are so great restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Thank you all again and I look forward to staying here as long as I can. Shawn

Marine Towers West is a wonderful place to live! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Also, the maintenance staff is very efficient and they respond very quickly when there is something that needs to be fixed. The pool is also wonderful in the summer! Lastly, the party room located on the penthouse floor has amazing views and was the perfect venue for a party I hosted! A great place to be!

Marine Towers West was the first and only apartment my daughter looked at before she moved to Cleveland - as soon as we met Nina and saw the apartment, we knew she had found her new home. Nina has a vast knowledge of the apartment and the area and is always available to provide assistance. We are very pleased with the safety, cleanliness, and amenities of the building.

I have been living here for many years. The building is exactly 15 min walk to Lakewood Park and 5 min drive to Edgewater beach. There is a new modern grocery store within walking distance and Rocky River Whole Foods is an easy 10 min drive. Nina, Claire, and Char are super friendly and very responsive to any maintenance issues or questions I might have. I recommend living here, you’ll love it!

MTW has a great management team. They were professional and personable from the start and have continued to be so. The neighbors are polite and friendly; always there to exchange smiles and pleasantries, which is great after a long day at work. Maintenance is taken care of promptly. The grounds are landscaped and regularly tended to. The amenities work. There has always been notice before any major scheduled work. Parking is always available. Good views of the lake. The location is good. There are several restaurants nearby. Id heartily recommend MTW.

I’m going on a year living in Marine Towers West and all I can say is great things. Whenever I’ve needed assistance or a repair of any sort the staff is more then willing to work with me.The area is amazing with Downtown Lakewood, Cleveland, and Ohio City all on close proximity. And let’s not forget the Lake view!

The units are lovely at MTW, but its the staff who make living there even more pleasant. They are always courteous, kind and caring. If anything needs repaired in my unit, the staff in the leasing office has maintenance up to my place lightning fast, and the repairs are done almost immediately! Thanks, Claire, Char, Deb and the rest of the gang for making my experience at MTW so amazing!

I really enjoy living here. The best part is the staff. Nina, Char, Claire, James, and the rest of the team are super responsive and professional. They help me whenever I need it. For a guy new to town and living alone, it is great to have people you trust who will look out for your place. The location is also very convenient. Only about ten minutes to downtown Cleveland and less to get to downtown Lakewood or Detroit Shoreway.

I’m so happy living in this building. I felt at home during my first look through. Nina made myself and my family feel comfortable not only with the building, but with Lakewood as well. Claire made my move in day very easy. I’m so happy to call this place home.

They are committed to everyone who calls MTW home! I love the location, my comfortable apartment & ALL the amenities. I especially love the 18th floor sun deck where I go quite often to enjoy the amazing views of downtown Cleveland our beautiful Lake Erie! They maintain the highest level of customer service, maintenance & cleanliness & always ready to help in any way! I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Kudos for all you do & for caring! ❤️

Nina has been super helpful on the weekends with everything! Her and Claire always respond to me quickly. They have been so kind during the move in process. Nina showed us the apartment and has welcomed us ever since!

Ive been in this building for over 3 years - both the service and the building are beyond expectations. Any request is handled in a timely manner, neighbors are always watching out for each other, the feeling of safety is abundant, and Ive never felt so comfortable at home.Shout out to Nina! All the friendly banter makes this tower truly feel like a permanent home. I dont see myself moving out any time soon.

Additionally Marine has the best staff ever. They are all great and very friendly. I love to live in Marine Towers West. The most amazing view of Lake Erie! There are a huge parking lot, an amazing pool, a convenient gym, and I really feel comfortable living there!

My husband and I have lived here for 3 years and are only leaving because we are relocating out-of-state. Our time at MTW has been wonderful -- the office (especially Claire!) is full of knowledgeable and responsive workers who are available during office hours and keep the place running smoothly and efficiently. They are very responsive to your needs! Maintenance was always there next day or less! In addition, the common areas are always clean. The pool is great and well-kept during the summer months, and the building is very pet friendly (with dog wash and yard, and we have 2 cats that were welcome). The views of the lake CANNOT be beat. A view youd pay millions for in a house. The staff and ownership here are also always working to improve the experience - they implemented a new package pickup system (much more convenient) and also added additional surface lot parking in the 3 years we were there. They also take care to renovate units when they come up for rent, with the bonus that we got a nice and newly refurbished unit when we moved across the hall! In addition, you will be spoiled with space/storage. There is additional storage in the basement, and room for bike. We do NOT have that option in the apartments in our new city. Also will miss the easy walk to Pier W, best restaurant with best views in Cleveland! Cant say enough about how much we have loved calling this place home. Always came home to a wonderful, SAFE, functional, and well-run apartment and apartment complex.

Moved in about a month ago and i cant say enough about the MTW management and staff. Everyone in the front office is extremely helpful amd accomodating, maintenance is prompt and willing to work around my night shift sleep schedule. The building is clean and well kept. No complaints!

I have lived at MTW for 1-1/2 years now, and like it so well that I plan to live here forever. I have liked other apartments I’ve lived in, but chose this one because we wanted some extra space and a better view. Well, we have a full-on lake view that is stunning, and the two bed apartment has an enclosed sunporch that makes wonderful extra space. We use it as a library/tv room, but also as a second guest room when family is over. The room sizes in the larger apartments are incredible, I have nearly as much square footage as I did in my house. The management team is terrific – friendly, helpful and always ready when you need something done. The grounds and common spaces are kept clean and nicely decorated, there’s plenty of parking (a rarity along the lake coast!), and a separate rental suite if you want space for longer term guests. The rent is not cheap, but it’s reasonable if you compare it to similar places. I’ve seen some comments about dated kitchens and bathrooms, and having shared laundry rooms, but when I’ve look around I’ve seen a choice between apartment buildings with new granite kitchens and private laundry rooms, or older buildings with larger rooms, tons of windows and a lake view. For me the choice was easy, and I feel like I’m on permanent vacation living on the lake!

Lived here and wasnt impressed. For what you pay, you dont get it back in a modern apartment. The only plus was the amazing view...I still miss that view!

I live in a two-bedroom suite with lake and city views. The views are the only nice thing about the apartment. The building is not updated at all and has many issues. While some of the units experience no problems, others, like ours, have non-stop problems. It does not help that Burton Carol is only willing to do cheap and easy short-term solutions to these problems and the contractors they hire are careless and inexperienced. For example, upon move in, we discovered over 70 white paint marks all over our carpet, not just near the bases and doors, but in the middle of the floor as well. It took over 6 months for management to try to fix the problem. Management agreed to give us new carpet at the start of our second year lease to appease us, the carpeting company scratched the paint off walls and door frames, broke a lamp, cracked a bookshelf, dented a dresser, and forgot to re-carpet one closet. The fake wood kitchen flooring scratches from moving a garbage can across it. The windows are drafty and the seals are coming off, letting in spiders, flies, and ladybugs. I requested to have the windows fixed in October 2015, they are still not fixed. The shower doors leak, in an attempt not to have to buy a new one, maintenance will come and put jagged seals on the bottom of the door that do not seal anything due to the way they are cut. After three efforts to seal the door, management finally put a new door in. The ceiling leaks from the air conditioning in the unit above you, this isn’t a once-a-year leak, it is an every two month leak, since, once again, management refuses to spend money to fix anything. Then they send the VP of Burton Carol out to look at the ceiling, further delaying repairs. Management prefers to update the washer and dryers and hallway carpet rather than using our rent money to fix issues that damage personal property and affect the tenants directly. The building is not secure and the “video cameras” do not record anything. In early 2015 every bicycle in the bike room with a cable lock was cut and stolen. Management did not report the theft to any of the tenants, claiming they thought only one bike was stolen, meaning they did not go examine the bike room, or they would have seen broken locks everywhere. I did not find out my bicycle was stolen until months later and by then any hopes of recovering the bicycle were lost. The parking lot is full by 6pm every night and people from the building next door park freely in our lot. I have asked management several times to start managing the parking lot so unauthorized cars stop parking there, they do nothing. An indoor spot costs $75/ month and you are locked in for the remainder of your lease once you buy the indoor spot. Lowering the price would attract more tenants to park indoors and free up surface spots, but management seems to think $75 a month on top of high rent for a dilapidated building is fair. For a company that prides themselves on being different from other landlords since they own the building, their management policies are horrendous. The rent is ridiculously high for such an unkempt building. Take my advice, skip Marine Towers West, look at cheaper options down the road, or go with the condos.
